Infinite Items Exploit (To make many trophies, much, much easier)

The end of civilization is nigh, when disease spreads all over Harran and it is up to you to find a cure before it's too late. Dying Light stars Kyle Crane, who is issued with an undercover mission: To find an important file that can possibly have answers for a cure to the infection. Only little does he know that this mission will change his perspective on what the true task holds. Explore the slums of Harran and see what dangers lie. Appreciate the daylight, as it's crucial towards the task at hand...

In terms of trophies, you're looking at a pretty average trophy list. There are no difficulty related trophies, and the platinum is pretty straight forward. You'll spend a lot of time completing story related and side quests trophies, as well as finding 67 collectibles. There are also a lot of miscellaneous trophies which take very little effort to earn. There are also 4 online trophies which can be easily boosted, with an organized group. There are also a lot of level related trophies, which should come naturally toward your Platinum run however. Earning your Platinum trophy should take no more than 40 hours.

A Techland game, would not be a Techland game without it's common glitches and bugs. Unfortunately, this is the case with this title. At this time, we recommend that you backup your save data frequently and play the game strictly offline before you attempt to earn the online trophies to reduce your chances of getting locked out of specific trophies. There is also a game breaking glitch that can cause you to get stuck near the end of the game, but only if you return to it after completing the game for the first time. This bug can also cause you to lose ALL of your progress so avoid entering the door (which is shown on the map in Old Town). For more information on this matter, refer to the link below:

WARNING: Do NOT Replay the Final Mission Through the Door on the Map

Step 1: Complete the Main Story while completing as many Random Events as you can; capture every Safe Zone.

In this first step, you will want to complete the main story line of the game. The main story takes about 10 hours to complete, and you'll also unlock 9 story related trophies in the process. During this step, it's also highly recommended to complete as many random events as you can. Random events are the blue icons that randomly spawn on your map. The reason you want to pay attention to these is because it's very easy to ignore them early on in the game, while focusing on the story. Completing as many of these as you can early on in the game will make it easier on yourself when you try to earn both the We're All In This Together and Homo Homini Lupus Est trophies during step 3 of this walkthrough.

It's worth noting that rescuing the hostages are by far, more rare than rescuing a survivor from a zombie so be absolutely sure to complete these events in Old Town whenever you have a chance. This is because Hostage events only spawn in Old town.

You will also earn various misc trophies naturally during this step, such as: the three trophies that require you to reach level 10. It's nearly impossible to complete the game before you reach level 10 on all three skills. It's also highly recommended to capture every Safe Zone before you complete the main story. The main reason is because there is no way to fast travel to other safe zones so if you die, you will restart at the closest safe zone near your last death. Not clearing safe zones can cause you to respawn at a far location. This can become quite annoying, and time consuming if it happens frequently. Not only will you be saving time during your Platinum run, but you will also earn the Now It's Safe trophy in the process. There is a way to fast travel, which makes things much easier when going for the safe zones etc. To do it, simply head to Brecken's Tower (Slums) or Troy's Tower (Old Town) and interact with the poster in each one. Doing so will fast travel you from the Slums, to Old town and vice versa.

Upon completing Step 1, you will earn the following trophies:
Is It Really Necessary?
Hush, Hush Now
Little Craftsman
Everybody Knows Kyle
Agile
Strong
Flight of the Crane
My left or your left?
Snake in the grass
Sightseeing
Making Faces
Tied loose end
Now You Can Come In
Vertigo
Now It's Safe
Bittersweet

Step 2: Complete all 8 Quarantine Zones; complete 15 Agility or Power Challenges; get 15 Relief Packages.

During this step, you're going to complete each task mentioned above. The Quarantine Zones should be completed first, as they're much easier to complete; while the 15 Challenges are much longer. Quarantine Zone locations are shown in the map with a symbol. They're only shown on your map when you "discover" them however but they can be completed at any time. For specific locations on this trophy, refer to the Trophy Guide.

The Challenges are more time consuming but they're pretty easy to complete as well. They're shown on your map with a icon for the agility ones and a icon for the power challenges. While completing these challenges, be on the look out for Relief packages. Relief Packages will only spawn in Old Town and are marked with a icon on your map. You're able to collect these as well in the Slums but they stop dropping through story progression, while packages in Old Town respawn even after you complete the game.

To summarize, you will want to complete these tasks in this order:

  • Quarantine Zones (While collecting Relief Packages in the progress)
  • Challenges (While collecting Relief Packages in the progress)
  • Relief Packages

Upon completing Step 2, you will earn the following trophies:
Disaster Recovery
I'm a Runner and a fighter
Trespassing

Step 3.1: Misc run (During the Day).

Step 3 will be divided into 2 sections because of the night mode. This section will cover the trophies that you can earn during the day. You can sleep in safe zones to immediately change the time to Day or Night. This makes it much easier, rather than having to wait a full 12 hours.

In this step, you will earn every misc trophy. Most of these trophies are very easy to earn. However, some require you to have learned certain skills. these are:

  • Elemental Throwing Stars
  • Electric Fences
  • Grapple
  • Vault
  • Drop Attack

You will need to learn all of these skills in order to earn every trophy in this step. It's recommended to learn these as soon as you can, that way you do not need to level up to higher levels than the required levels for the four level trophies.

The hardest trophies are probably This is Harraaaaan! and Homo Homini Lupus Est. Both of these trophies are very time consuming and will take hours to complete. The rest of these trophies can be earned with very little effort. You can earn these during the night as well, but they're much more harder to earn. When you get a notice from Ayo that night is coming, go to the nearest safe house and wait until Morning.

Step 3.2: Misc run (During the Night).

This section will cover every trophies that you can earn during the night. You can sleep in safe zones to immediately change the time to Night. This makes it much easier, rather than having to wait a full 12 hours.

This section of step 3 is much more trickier than the previous section; you can only earn these trophies, apart from Electrified!, during the night so go to the nearest safe house to change the time to night if you should need to. You can actually earn most of these trophies in a single session by running around during a pursuit, even if you die. There's a specific location in the Slums that's a great area to farm the Electrified!, Enlightened!, Blinded by the Lights, Prom Night, and Mouths Wide Open trophies in a single night. For this specific location, refer to these trophies in the Trophy Guide. You will also need to learn both the Electric Fences, and Blacklash skills in order to earn some of these trophies.

All of these trophies are also cumulative so dying doesn't matter.

Upon completing Step 3, you will earn the following trophies:
Day
We're All In This Together
Homo Homini Lupus Est
Trade Company
Everybody Dance Now
Can't Touch This
This is Harraaaaan!
A Game of Catch
BBQ
Harran Shooting Club
High Flyer
Judo Master
Master Crafter
Open Sesame
Italian Plumber
Gabriel's Sword

Night
Bolter Hunting
Mouths Wide Open
Electrified!
Blinded by the Lights
Prom Night
Enlightened!
A Long Way Down

Step 4: Complete every Side Quest; collectibles; and earn the remaining cumulative trophies.

This will probably be your longest step. The reason that we included collectibles to this step, is because you will need to progress through various side quests in order to reach certain areas in the game that might have a collectible. It's best to complete all of the side quests first before your collectible run. This will also earn you The Whole Story during the process. After you've completed every side quest, collect every Note, Recording and Battle Journal to finally earn It's All In the Writing. Also bear in mind that both of these trophies are currently glitched so BACKUP YOUR SAVE DATA before trying to earn these trophies.

Finally, you will also earn every remaining cumulative trophy that you have not earned. This includes: Mount Everest, and The Legend of Harran. You will pass level 18 after you've completed every side quest, as you earn Survivor EXP from completing quests. Mount Everest however, is a huge grind and will most likely be one of the final trophies that you earn before your platinum.

Upon completing Step 4, you will earn the following trophies:
Pheidippides
Mount Everest
The Legend of Harran
It's All In the Writing
The Whole Story

Step 5: Co-op.

In this final step, you will earn the four online trophies. There are two co-op trophies and two online trophies. The co-op trophies are semi difficult if you earn them without boosting. The reason is because you will need to be in a lobby of 4 players without any of them dropping out of the game so It must be in a single session. They are very easy to earn if you organize a boosting session and set up five completed quests. For more information regarding these trophies, refer to the Trophy Guide.

The two remaining online trophies are much easier to earn, and can be boosted as well. Set your frequency of dynamic competition to "Frequent" to earn these last two trophies much faster. To organize a boosting session, refer to the Co-op Partners Thread (Read First Post!)

Upon completing Step 5, you will earn the following trophies:
Lucky 7
Harran Athletics
I've Got Your Back
Polyamory

Which will ultimately unlock:
We'll talk about it next time I see you.

Main Dying Light Trophy Guide (by Harry94_ and Warbear)
Grapple Hook Exploit (To make challenge trophies easier, by StayPationt) UPDATE! 5/15/17 - This exploit has been patched and no longer works.

Parkour Fever is a FREE DLC for Dying Light. This DLC was installed with the latest update of the game so there is no need to look in the PS store. This DLC is mostly about new parkour challenges as the name might suggest. These are similar to the race challenges from the main game, but are much more difficult. To try a parkour challenge look at your map and find the symbol of a foot with 3 stars underneath it. Upon arriving at that spot you should see the challenge and pressing on it will start the challenge.

The DLC also installs GRE Chests into the Quarantine zones. These chests hold valuable and unique weapons to help kill zombies so definitely loot a few of these (5 for a trophy) and see what you come out with.

WARNING: These trophies should only be attempted in single player. If you complete a Parkour Challenge in co-op only the player that comes in 1st place will get credit for completing it. Furthermore, only the player opening the GRE chest will get credit for it if you are in co-op. Therefore these DLC trophies are all best accomplished in single player.

Step 1: Loot 5 GRE Chests in the Quarantine Zones
The Quarantine Zones should be completed first, as they're much easier to complete; while the 10 Parkour Challenges are much longer. Quarantine Zone locations are shown in the map with a symbol. You can go to the same one more than once. Each time you complete a Quarantine Zone and re-enter the GRE chests will re-spawn. I visited one zone got 4 chests. I then completed the Zone left and returned. Upon opening the 1st chest on my return the trophy popped. The Quarantine Zones only shown on your map when you "discover" them. If you've already completed the main game just go to anyone of them. If you are playing for the first time, refer to the Trophy Guide for specific locations on this trophy. Once you loot 5 GRE chests you will earn:

Pearls in the Mud

Step 2: Get to know and Complete the Parkour Fever Challenges during the day time
Go to your Map and look for an icon of a foot with 3 stars under it, these are the Parkour Challenges you are looking to complete for the trophy. The challenges are really hard and It will take several tries to learn the location of the next checkpoint so that you are not thinking you are just planning your best path and reacting. At first these will seem impossible and very daunting but trust me, after a few tries and figuring out the best paths they are doable. Learning them in the daytime will also help as it's easier to see and less zombies around. You will need to complete 5 challenges in the Slums Map and 5 challenges in the Old Town Map for a total of 10 challenges. Once you complete all 10 you will earn:

The Boy Who Could Run

Step 3: Complete all the Parkour Challenges at night
You could potentially finish step 2 and 3 at the same time if you only did the challenges at night. However, I think it best to learn the route then try for it at night. You will fail a lot trying to learn the best way to tackle the challenge and night is very short compared to daytime. However when you are ready to try these at night, find a Safe Zone and go to sleep until night time (Safe Zones will either be a green or red icon). If you have completed the main game then all your Safe Zones are green and you are free to come and go and sleep if you wish. If your Safe Zones are red, then they must be first cleaned of zombies before you can sleep there. Once you have made it night time return to the challenge and complete it before it turns daytime. Upon completing all the challenges at night you will receive:

GD Parkour Instructor

Main Dying Light Trophy Guide (by Harry94_ and Warbear)
Co-op Partners Thread

The Bozak Horde is the new DLC that opens up a new challenge arena in The Stadium. The DLC will have you test your agility and killing skills in a series of twenty challenges, which act as waves. In order to complete the whole DLC you will not only have to be able to complete it but also complete it under a certain amount of time depending on how many co-op partners you have. The DLC can be made easier while playing in co-op and there is also one multiplayer co-op trophy so you'll want to round up your friends or get with the co-op partners boosting thread. Finally, the DLC also gives you some pretty sweat weapons to help you complete the main game if you have not already done so. For completing the DLC you will get a new bow weapon and also Bozak Documents. You can take these Documents back with you to the main game and give them to the Quartermaster who will then give you special and unique weapons to use in the main game.

Step 1: Complete all 20 Bozak Challenges
You will arrive at the stadium with nothing and you must find or loot any weapons and health packs you wish to use, they always spawn in the same place so once you have played a while it will become easier. Also during this step (if you are playing in co-op with friends) decide who will win at the end. At the end of the challenges you will be tasked to kill each other so that there is only one of you left alive. This will net you the trophy Together to the End. However, no matter who wins in the end, all will have access to the new bow weapon and earn the trophy:

Get the Boza

Step 2: Complete the Bozak Challenges Again Trying to Complete Certain Tasks
If you were not the one to win the final show down with your co-op buds, then you’ll need another win so that you earn the trophy. After beating it for the first time and earning the bow, you will also now want to try and get 10 viral kills with it in one run through of the challenges to earn electric arrows. You’ll also most likely have a few more runthroughs trying to improve your time in beating it, as you’ll have to beat it under a certain time to earn the explosive arrows. After a few more playthroughs you should get the following trophies:

Together Till the End
Electric Whisper
Things That Go Ka-Boom

Step 3: Return to the Main Game and Use Your New Bow
Upon completing the 20 Bozak challenges you will earn the bow weapon. Return to the main game from the stadium and collect your belongings from your stash. Everything is taken from you in the stadium but will be waiting for you at your stash upon returning to the main game. Now look at your blue prints you will have earned from completing the Bozak challenges. Craft a bow. Craft some arrows (you only need the regular arrows). Find some of Rais's men and shoot them in the head with your new weapon. After killing 10 with head shots you will earn the trophy:

Robin Hood Theory

The Following DLC:

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (Personal Opinion)
  • Offline trophies: 10 (8, 2,
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum: 6 - 10 hours
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: 1 (It wasn't that hard, Was it? )
  • Glitched trophies: None
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
  • Do trophies stack?: No

Welcome to Dying Light's long awaited The Following DLC! Kyle Crane is back following the events of Dying Light. Crane is sent to a nearby Countryside to investigate the rumors of a Zombie Cure, and what he finds is not what anyone was expecting! As far as the trophies go, there are quite a few "Story Related" trophies, and one trophy is missable so be sure to look that over. Other than that, enjoy!

Important: It's worth mentioning as of now with the current patch, there is a glitch that can happen where you will get stuck inside the "Gas Station" if you quit the game after finishing the first objective within the "Strangers in a Strange land" quest. If you have "The Mechanic" side quest then do not exit the game until you have completed it. It's a mandatory side quest an it is given to you early on by Jasir.

Note: Gas and Screws! The Buggy can be broken an run out of gas. This isn't a huge problem though. Just about every abandoned car you see should have fuel, screws, or both. Search near the hood for the screws, and search the rear end for the fuel. Fuel can also be found at the 8 Gas Stations located around the Countryside. Also if you can no longer repair your Buggy using screws then you will need to do the Side quest "Buggy Grail" given to you by The Quarter-Master Bilal. Once you do this the trucker you meet during the quest will remain on the highway bridge selling car parts that you'll need. Some of the more advanced parts will take more than screws to repair, such as Rubber or Steel Tubing. These are found in the same way as screws, but are just more rare to come by.

Step 1: Story Missions
Play through the story quest and any side quests as you see fit. Pay attention to Bilal's race as the related trophy is missable. Other than that, enjoy the game! While it is not needed because everything can be done post game, I do recommend driving and killing as many zombies as you can while going from point A to point B for the 500 kills needed for I don't approve of mindless fun.

Trophies Earned:
Afraid to get Wet
I Felt your Presence
I was waiting for you for so long
An you liked him, didn't you?
What if you picked the other one

Step 2: Miscellaneous/clean up
After having played through the story you should have all the related trophies and just need some cleanup. Go win Bilal's Race, kill a Demolisher with your Buggy, destroy any remaining scarecrows, and get 500 Buggy kills. You have free access to the entire countryside. See below for tips on each trophy.

Trophies Earned:
Sweaty palms?
It wasn't that hard, Was it? missable
You realize it's only points, do you?
Formidophobic? Interesting...
I don't approve of mindless fun

  • Congratulations! You've conquered all obstacles and are a true zombie hunter of the apocalypse!

  • Finish all side quests.

    GLITCHED

This trophy is completely glitched unless you have patch 1.04 installed. The trophy is still bugged after the patch, but you can still earn it. If you are playing the game from scratch after the 1.04 patch you should have no trouble unlocking it. However, if you downloaded it mid playthrough then you might have some problems. If it doesn't unlock after completing the last side quest then you want to leave this trophy until last, then start New Game+. Then, you want to go around and keep completing side quests. The trophy will eventually unlock.

Side quests are marked on the map with a "!" symbol. Most of the side quests don't take long to complete, but a few of them are fairly lengthy. This will be the bulk of the Platinum just because there are lots of side quests that you need to complete. None of the side quests are difficult though and most are of the "Go to point A, find something, go to point B" variety. You will be rewarded with lots of survivor points for completing them though, and most of the time you will get blueprints as well. Here is a complete list of all the side quests so you can check which ones you are missing. Challenges and escorts may also count towards this trophy, but we won't know until somebody unlocks the trophy. As the trophy description only states side quests, it is safe to assume that is all you need.

  • Get 15 Relief Packages

To earn this trophy, you must collect 15 Relief Packages. You're able to collect Relief Packages very early in the game; they're dropped by Air Drops during the night, and you will have to collect them as soon as possible because Rais' men can collect them as well. It's very important to note that you should not focus on collecting these in the Slums, because they're much easier to collect in Old Town and Air Drops disappear in the Slums through story progression. The Blue Air Drops (Red crates) do count towards this trophy as well, however.

(The image above shows a Rais' Crate found all across Old Town).

The Relief packages in Old Town are marked with a and are always guarded by Rais' men or surrounded by Virals so always come well prepared with some extra medkits etc. These packages can also randomly spawn if you're near a crate, even if it's not shown on your map from afar. Packages can only be unlocked by picking the lock with a lockpick. If you do not have a spare lockpick, you can craft them with x1 *Metal part from the Blueprint menu.

*Metal parts can also be scraped from dismantling weapons by pressing the button. Only dismantle weapons that you do not need, however.

Should you collect a relief package from an area flooded with Virals, you could always use firecrackers to distract them while picking a lock, but be sure to cancel the action with if you're attacked. You have to collect the Relief Package inside of the crate in order for it to count towards this trophy. Opening the crate does not count. You also do not need to turn the packages in. Once you've collected your 15 relief package, the trophy will unlock.

You can check your Relief Packages collected progress from the Main Menu of the game: under "Extras", followed by "Personal Statistic" under the "DROPs recovered" stat.

  • Save 15 survivors from zombies

In order to earn this trophy, you must save 15 survivors being attacked by zombies. These events are random, can are found from the icon on your map. There are a total of 4 different random events: Survivors needing help from attacking zombies; Rais' men holding a hostage; Rais' men without a hostage, a random stranger encounter and they all are random events.

Survivors in need of help are best found in the Slums however, as Rais' men do not spawn at all in the Slums. Travel across the Slums until you find a survivor being attacked by a group of zombies, and kill them in order for a save to count. Also bear in mind that some encounters are timed so you must save them quickly before they die by a zombie, this is why it's important to never ignore these encounters. When you've killed every zombie, the survivor will thank you and give you a reward. You will also get XP.

You can check your Survivors saved progress from the Main Menu of the game: Under "Extras", followed by "Personal Statistics" under the "Survivors saved from infected" stat. Also bear in mind that this trophy is semi bugged and might not register a save sometimes, so it might take more than 15 saves in order to unlock, even if the stat says more than 15 saved. Once you've met the requirement, the trophy will unlock.

  • Save 15 survivors from Rais's men

    GLITCHED

In order to earn this trophy, you must save 15 hostages being held captive by Rais' men. These events are random, can are found from the icon on your map. There are a total of 4 different random events: Survivors needing help from attacking zombies; Rais' men holding a hostage; Rais' men without a hostage, a random stranger encounter and they all are random events.

Hostage's being held by Rais' men are by far the rarest random event, plus they can only be found in Old Town. However, you can find them in the Slums up until you complete the main mission called "The Pit". Rais's men event without a hostage also does not count towards earning this trophy. This will most likely be one of the final trophies that you earn because of how rare these events are, and there are only 3 locations that have a chance of spawning, they are:

    • North West - near the Safe Zone that's nearest to the upper right of the map. Click HERE for a screenshot of the exact location.
    • South - Just north of the southern most safe house, above the museum. Click HERE for a screenshot of the exact location.
    • South East - A little East near the middle of the map. Click HERE for a screenshot of the exact location.

These spawns are only found on rooftops so try to not travel on the streets to travel across Old Town. The only way that you can farm random events, is by travelling far away. Sleeping in a Safe Zone for a day also works but there's still a little chance that an event will spawn. When you spawn a hostage event, the hostage will be curled up on the flood asking for help. You must defeat each of Rais' men in order to save a hostage. After you've defeated every enemy, you must get near the hostage and press to comfort the hostage in order for the save to count.

You can check your Hostages saved progress from the Main Menu of the game: Under "Extras", followed by "Personal Statistics" under the "Survivors saved from Rais' men" stat. Also bear in mind that this trophy is semi-bugged and might not register a save sometimes so it might take more than 15 saves in order to unlock, even if the stat says more than 15 saved. Once you've met the requirement, the trophy will unlock.

  • Catch 5 Bolters

This trophy can be earned as early as after completing the "Siblings" main story quest.

In order to earn this trophy you must kill, not "catch" 5 Bolters. Bolters are the green mutated zombies that move like a monkey; they also flee from you if they notice your presence. They can only be found at night, and in certain areas of the game. They can only be found in the area, which is found on your map. When you travel to this area, you will see a blue icon. Use Survivor Sense with to find the Bolter. It's usually guarded by two or three Volatiles, and easy to spot because it's usually on the ground eating flesh. Also be sure to have your light off from being detected by both the Bolter and Volatiles. When you're near a Bolter, kill it with a strong melee weapon and flee the scene. They're very easy to kill but very easy to scare off as well so be quick. Travel to 4 other Bolter locations or sleep two full days for the Bolter to respawn again. The best way to kill them is to make sure you have the "Camouflage" skill, that way you can smear some zombie juice on you and nothing will notice you while you have it on. It lasts about a minute so you can walk right up to the bolter and smack him, then walk right on out of there without anything hurting you.

(The image above shows a Bolter feasting on human flesh during the night).

After killing your 5th Bolter, the trophy will unlock. You can check your Bolters captured progress from the Main Menu of the game: Under "Extras", followed by "Personal Statistic" under the "Bolters eliminated" stat.

  • Complete 15 Agility or Power Challenges

Agility and Power Challenges are found all across Harran. Agility Challenges are found with an icon, while Power Challenges are found with an icon. Agility Challenges are probably the easiest, because your objective is just to travel to a destination before the time runs out. You also cannot use the grapple hook or you will lose. Power Challenges on the other hand, are more challenging. In order to earn this trophy, you must complete a total of 15 challenges in any order that you desire. It does not need to be either 15 Agility or 15 Power challenges. Completing either will count towards 15 in total.

We felt that the Agility Challenges in the Slums were by far the easiest, while Agility Challenges in Old Town were a bit more challenging. The Challenges that Bajram offers are also pretty easy, as all you have to do is flee a night pursuit before time runs out. Bajram can be found in a Safe Zone just North of Old Town. Most of these challenges are not difficult at all, but do take a few attempts before mastering them.

Upon completing your 15th challenge, the trophy will unlock.

  • Win 7 coop competitions

In order to earn this trophy, you must win 7 competitions. "Competitions" are like challenges that you play with every other player in the co-op lobby. They're activated by each player holding down the button. You cannot start these manually so you will have to wait until you get a notification about wanting to start a competition. Also bear in mind that you're timed on wanting to start a competition or not so hold down the button whenever you see the notification. You can better your chances of having a competition to appear by going to the "Options" menu from the Pause menu, followed by "Online". You then have the option of changing the frequency of competitions to appear more often by changing "Frequency Of Dynamic Competition" to "Frequent".

This can easily be boosted with another player. Take turns in winning 7 competitions and you will also earn Harran Athletics in the process, which requires you to play a total of 10 competitions. They do not need to be different, and do not need to be in a single session. Both of these trophies will unlock upon completion.

To organize a boosting session, refer to the Co-op Partners Thread (Read First Post!).

  • Take part in 10 coop competitions

See Lucky 7 for more details.

  • Sell items worth 10,000 dollars

You will need to sell $10,000 worth of items to vendors. You can sell anything to vendors to meet the requirements for this trophy, whether it be valuables or weapons. The easiest way to earn this trophy, is to use the weapon duplication glitch (See the "Useful Links" section of the Roadmap for more info). With this glitch, you can duplicate your best weapons and sell as many as you wish. You can also get the EXPcalibur sword from the rock located in the South-East section of the ocean. This sword sells for around $1,500 depending on what perks you have. There is no way to check on how much money you have accumulated towards the requirement but it will unlock as soon as you sell $10,000 worth of items.

  • Complete all Quarantine Zones

    GLITCHED

This trophy is glitched. If it doesn't unlock the only thing you can do is start a new save in slot 2, and start it from the slums (you can do this by selecting "Advanced Settings" and then selecting any of the main missions that take palce in Old Town. You will be given a couple of ok weapons, and it should be enough to get through all 8 of the zones again. To be safe, do all 8 in one sitting and the trophy should unlock.

There are a total of 8 Quarantine Zones in the game. Five can be found in the slums, and 3 can be found in old town. Once you get near a Quarantine Zone, it will appear on your map with a symbol. However, you will need to investigate at least one of these zones before they appear on the map. To do this, just go to the door of any of the 8 zones and then Crane mention it to Spike. After this happens, the task for these zones is to either secure relief packages or kill all of the zombies in the Zone. Most of these are easy to complete and only have regular Infected and the Viral enemies. The hardest one is the Underground Parking as there are quite a few Volatiles in here, making it a tough zone to complete at low levels.

The trophy will unlock after you complete all 8 zones. Below is a video showing the locations of all 8 zones. Simply click a time link, to see a location of that specific zone:

    [0:05] Slums - Underground Parking
    [0:52] Slums - Stuffed Turtle
    [1:10] Slums - Sunny Apartments
[1:33] Slums - Bright Mountain Tunnel
    [1:55] Slums - Chemical Storage
[2:15] Old Town - Striped Dragon Hotel
[2:33] Old Town - Parking Lot
[2:50] Old Town - New Antalya Apartments

  • Capture all Safe Zones

    GLITCHED

Several reports indicate that the trophy does not unlock when you meet the requirements to unlock this trophy. We recommend that you backup your saves just before you have cleared the final Safe Zone before attempting to earn this trophy. However, there is a workaround: if this trophy does not unlock after you've captured every Safe Zone, then start a new game after you've completed the main story for the first time. You can do this by starting a new game from the main menu. When you start a new game, be sure that it is in a new slot (found under Advanced Settings). You can reach the "New game from quest" menu by pressing before starting a new game. Also be sure to start from the main story mission, "The Clinic" while in Advanced Settings. By doing this, you can start up a new game in Old Town and have access to both Red Safe zones in Old Town and the Slums. This saves a lot of time and makes surviving easier as well, since you start off with more skill points. Once you have your new game settled, capture those red safe zones until the trophy unlocks. You might not even need to meet the requirement and unlock the trophy before you need capture all 16 safe zones the second time around.

In order to earn this trophy, you must "capture" every Safe Zone in the game. Throughout the game, you will see red icons on your map. These are the Zones that you must capture in order to meet the requirements to earn this trophy. This does not mean that you have to unlock every Safe Zone in the game, as you unlock certain Safe Zones just by progressing through the main story, and certain side quests. This can be earned as early as you have access to Old Town. Capture every Safe Zone in Both the Slums and Old Town, then view your map and mark every red Safe Zone that's shown and clear them one by one. There are:

    • 12 Red Safe Zones to clear in the Slums
    • 4 Red Safe Zones to clear in Old Town

In order to clear a Safe Zone, you must first close a gate in order to stop other zombies from entering the area. Once the area is closed, kill every zombie in the safe zone; after you've killed every zombie, turn the power on in the safe zone to finally capture the area. You will know when it's captured as you'll get notification stated that the zone has been captured. Also bear in mind that every zone is different, so some areas might have different tasks such as: Blocking a window with a cabinet etc. Clearing a Safe Zone also changes the color of the Safe Zone to a Green icon. This makes it much easier to track which Safe Zones you need left to earn this trophy.

  • Run (move or sprint) at least 42.195 m

This trophy requires you to walk or run 42,195m (42km). This seems like quite the distance but you will get this easily just by playing through the main story and it should unlock naturally. Our trophies unlocked about halfway through the story and didn't not take much time to meet the requirement.

You can check your progress towards this trophy from the Main Menu by going to "Extras", then "Personal Statistics".

  • Climb at least 8848 meters on various objects.

This will mostly likely be one of the final trophies that you earn before your Platinum. 8848 meters is a LOT and will take hours to farm, depending on how much you've climbed through your Platinum run. We highly recommend that you avoid using the grapple hook as much as you can. We're aware that it's a great tool, but it will save a lot of time in the long run if you climb everything that you can without it. Climbing just about everything counts towards this trophy, such as: Climbing buildings, over cars, fences etc.

If you have not earned this trophy before you're near the Platinum, then we recommend to climb the middle tower in Old Town. It is the highest building in the city, and this tower is very easy to climb, and easy to get back to as well. As soon as you've reached the top of the building, use the zipline just North of the map to reach the tower across the street. Once you've reached the other side, use the grapple hook to reach the starting point of the tower and continue to climb the tower again. Below is a visual walkthrough of the tower and the route to farm this trophy:

You can check your progress towards this trophy from the Main Menu by going to "Extras", then "Personal Statistics".

  • Kill your first Infected

Chances are that this will be the very first trophy that you unlock. To earn this trophy, simply kill your first "infected". The Infected are Zombies and you will face your first one when you reach the 13th floor in the beginning of the game. Use to swing your melee weapon towards the Infected's head to kill it instantly and the trophy will unlock.

  • Simultaneously shock 5 monsters with electricity

You will notice puddles of water on the floor in many places throughout the game. You will want to use these puddles in order to earn the trophy. Simply lead 5 or more zombies onto a puddle using firecrackers, followed by pulling the switch with near the puddle to activate the electricity. By doing this, you will shock the zombies that are stepping on the puddle. You must shock 5 or more simultaneously to unlock the trophy however, so shocking 5 in a row will not count unless they're all shocked at the same time.

Alternatively, you can run into a group of zombies and hit one of them if you have a weapon with a shock mod attachment. Doing this will trigger a chain where the electric jumps from one zombie to another. You can also hit 5, with a low grade weapon and if you are quick enough they will all electrocute. For a visual walkthrough, refer to the video below:

  • Kill 20 enemies in a row without taking damage.

The best way to earn this trophy is to go to the infamy bridge, located at the far right of the slums map. There are many zombies here and you can sit on top of a car and just shoot the zombies with any type of gun. If you do not have a gun, do not worry. Once you've reach Old Town you will have lots of guns, and an infinite supply of ammo at the vendors. Any gun will work, so simply kill 20 zombies without taking any damage and the trophy will unlock. Using grenades do not count so bear that in mind. Also, be absolutely sure to earn Harran Shooting Club in the process as well.

Alternatively, the story mission "The Museum" is a GREAT place to earn this trophy. Not only will you have a gun (as it's required towards the mission), but there's an area near the end of the level where you have to reach the other side of the museum. You will know what area we're referring to, as you'll see hundreds of zombies in the middle. You're also on the second floor so it's impossible to take damage. Headshot zombies to get this faster.

  • Kill 100 enemies by kicking them off the rooftops/cliffs.

    GLITCHED

This trophy may or may not unlock, even after you have met the requirements towards this trophy. Nobody knows why, but it might just be the kills are not registering properly. The trophy isn't completely glitched however, it just means that it might take more than 100 kills to meet the requirement. Just keep kicking () zombies off the bridge until the trophy finally unlocks.

This does not need to be done on a "rooftop/cliff", it can be anything where the fall kills the zombie. The best place we found to earn this trophy was by kicking zombies off the Infamy Bridge, located on the Eastern side of the Slums map. It's near the village that you save. You can either kick enemies off the small gap on the left hand side as soon as you get off the bridge, or run down to the very end of the bridge and kick them off into the water. There are loads of zombies on the bridge so you should be able to kick at least 30 off in one run of it. Once you run out of zombies, just kill yourself by jumping onto the rocks below or leave the bridge area and come back. Here is a visual walkthrough if you would like to see the method:

  • Kill a Volatile

A Volatile is a very fast and strong zombie that only appears at night. Killing them early on in the game is tough as you simply won't have the weapons to do enough damage to them, they can also kill you in one or two hits depending on your health upgrades. You can however, use the electric fence traps to kill them. Simply lure one into one and it should take most of its health, then you can either finish it off with melee or wait until you can use the fence again. The tower in the slums has some electric fences by the doorways and enemies cannot enter these areas. You can simply lure a Volatile into that fence and then run into the tower so it cannot hurt you, followed by going out of the safe zone to lure the same volatile into a fence. Later on in the game you will have very powerful weapons, which can one hit kill Volatiles.

This can also be earned if Volatiles kill themselves on accident by falling off of rooftops. This is more common in Old Town, as the buildings are much higher. This is completely random and shouldn't be happening anyway but it can happen when the Volatiles fall off the edges off buildings. Usually, when they are chasing you and other zombies bump them off the edge.

(The Image above shows a picture of a Volatile (Night Hunter)).

  • Quiet a Screamer

You will first encounter a screamer during the main quest, "Public Face". A screamer looks like a child and it screams to attract other zombies, but its screams can also hurt and eventually kill you. Whenever you run into a screamer, either use a gun to kill it immediately or walk towards it and kill it instantly by pressing to put it to sleep. This trophy will most likely come naturally though, as you will kill one unless you run away from it. If you did miss one then you will have another chance later on in another quest called "Broadcast", where you have to kill a screamer in order to progress through the quest. The trophy will unlock as soon as you kill your first screamer.

(The image above shows a screamer, as well as the option to calm it down).

  • BBQ

Stick a burning zombie on spikes

This can easily be done outside of Rai's garrison, on the west hand side of the Slums (for an exact location, please refer to the video below). In order to earn this trophy, be sure to have some firecrackers and molotovs beforehand. Both of these items can be crafted easy enough and you will be given the blueprints for both shortly into the main story. They can also be purchased from traders. You will want to lure some zombies right by the spikes and then throw a molotov into the group, which causes them all to set on fire. The zombies will start to move around once they are on fire so be quick, as throwing they will have to be on fire in order for the trophy to count. After it's on fire, kick the zombie into the spikes () or hit it with a blunt weapon. If the get impaled on the spikes, the trophy will unlock shortly afterwards. For a visual walkthrough, refer to the video below:

  • Kill 50 enemies with throwing weapons

Throwing weapons range from ninja stars, to axes. These are not your typical melee weapons, as you can only throw them. Throwing weapons with the "Throw" skill does NOT count. You can either craft them from a blueprint or buy them. It is best to craft them though as you can add elemental effects to them this way. Regular throwing weapons are very weak so we highly recommend you to craft the "Exploding Ninja Star", as it will kill regular zombies in one throw, whereas the "Ninja Star" takes at least 3 depending on where you hit them. In order to craft an exploding ninja star, you will need to learn the "Elemental Throwing Stars" Survivor skill. You will need: x1 Blaze, x1 Gauze, and x1 Chemicals which can all be purchased from traders. After you've crafted your exploding ninja stars, equip the weapon and start killing zombies until the trophy unlocks.

Alternatively, you can also earn this trophy during the Power Challenge, "A game of catch". After completing the main story quest, "The Pit", you will open up a challenge line called "Killing Guide" located in the tower. The first challenge for this challenge line involves a baseball bat, but the second challenge involves killing enemies with thrown weapons. This is a great method for getting thrown weapon kills out of the way as well as making challenge progress on I'm a Runner and a fighter.

  • Kill 50 enemies with shooting weapons

At the start of the game, you won't really have access to guns. Once you get to Old Town though, there are plenty of guns to choose from and equip. You will also be able to purchase ammo from any trader. In order to earn this trophy, you just need to kill 50 enemies with guns. You will mainly be killing Rais' men with guns as you don't really want to melee those enemies, as they have guns too. You should earn this trophy by just playing the game naturally however. A great farming spot is at the infamy bridge, located at the far right of the slums map. You should try to earn both this trophy and Can't Touch This! at the same time.

Alternatively, you can earn this trophy by playing the Power Challenge, "Dying Lunch". This Power Challenge is unlocked after you complete the main quest, "Pact with Rais". You'll have unlimited ammo and can farm these kills during this challenge. Do not complete the challenge until you earn the trophy so purposely fail it until the trophy unlocks.

  • Catch 25 enemies in the Electric Fence trap

In order to earn this trophy, you must first learn the "Electric Fences" Survival skill at level 7. This skill will unlock electric fence traps all over the Slums. These fences are usually near safe zones and can be found with an icon on the bottom right screen of your mini map. They're also easy to spot because there's usually a light above the fence, making it easy to see from afar.

Because most of these trophies can only be earned during the night, we will explain in this paragraph on how to earn Electrified!, Blinded by the Lights, and Enlightened! in a single session. Travel to the location in the image below, as this area is a great place to earn these trophies:

After you've travelled to this area, wait until night in the nearest safe zone, then run around the apartment building in circles. You can see the rectangle route just by looking at the map. By doing this you can trigger both the fence trap, and the light traps. While you're being chased during a pursuit, use the Backlash skill with to blind enemies and Volatiles from behind. Not only will this eventually earn you Blinded by the Lights but it will also better your chances at surviving and pushing enemies away from you. This makes it much easier to set enemies up towards the light traps. Keep running through this route until you pass more light traps and press to activate the trap when near one. By then the electric fence should be available again and you will have a ton of zombies that you can lure into it. Remember to always use the Backlash skill with to turn around, followed by using your UV Flashlight with to blind enemies. Keep repeating this until you unlock all three trophies. If you die, don't worry as all of these trophies are cumulative.

    Alt method:

Here's an alternative method by Golden69:

There's a Bozak poster challenge in the old town, which is to kill 10 Volatiles. You will be given a Shotgun. This is by far the easiest and quickest method as you will spawn in above a fence, thus making the enemies easy pickings.

  • Blind 25 Volatiles with flares or a flashlight

In order to earn this trophy, you must first unlock the UV flashlight which you'll get from Spike after you complete the "First Assignment" quest. This flashlight can be equipped from the inventory menu onto your . Once it's equipped on your menu, equip it as your secondary weapon. This will activate the flashlight whenever you press . It's also highly recommended to learn the "Backlash" skill so you can blind enemies from behind while running. It's also worth noting that you must BLIND volatiles, not just shine your flashlight at them. You will know when they're blinded as they stop running and cover their faces with their hands.

For a method on how to actually earn this trophy, refer to the second paragraph of Electrified! for more details.

  • Kill 25 enemies using Ground Pound or Drop Attack

In order to earn this trophy, you must kill 25 enemies using the "Drop Attack" Power Skill. Do not even bother using Ground Pound, as it's not very efficient at all towards killing enemies, while Drop Attack kills a zombie instantly. In order to unlock Drop Attack, you must first unlock Ground Drop and reach Power level 10. After you've learned Drop Attack, use a powerful weapon with good stability and kill enemies from mid air. You can also vault over enemies if you've learned the skill and hold down, not tap, the button to trigger this move while in mid air. You will know when you've done it right, because you will impale a zombie through the heart. After you've impaled 25 zombies, the trophy will unlock.

  • Throw 50 enemies with Grapple

In order to earn this trophy, you must first learn the "Grapple" Agility skill so this trophy does NOT refer towards the grapple hook. This is by far one of the easiest and fastest trophies to earn in the game. In order to grapple an enemy, they must try to attack you so stand around and button mash while holding the stick or . The reason that you want to button mash is because this always guarantees a grapple, rather than having to wait to see the " Grapple" prompt. This can also be farmed on the same zombie(s) so it can be earned within five minutes. After you throw an enemy for the 50th time, the trophy will unlock.

  • Survive night pursuit of level two or higher

A night pursuit is determined by 4 levels. The first level means you have been noticed by either a viral, or a volatile. If you kill more zombies or more Volatiles/Virals join in the chase, then the pursuit level will increase. You can see what your pursuit level is by looking at the diamond shapes next to the mini-map. When two of these are red, the pursuit is level 2. The easiest way to get this trophy is to simply run across the infamy bridge. Just by running to the broken end, you should have got at least 2 levels added to your pursuit. Once you have two, just simply jump into the water at the end. This will also give you the A Long Way Down trophy if you don't have it already. If you get to the end and you are still on a 1 level pursuit just wait at the end of the bridge and kill zombies until it increase. The trophy will unlock when you escape the pursuit, which should happen soon after you end up in the water.

  • Blind 25 enemies in the Light Trap

In order to earn this trophy, you must first complete the story mission, "First Assignment". After you have learned on how to use light traps, use to blind enemies near the light. You will know when you're near a light trap, as you'll see a icon on the bottom right screen of your mini-map. Also bear in mind that you can only blind enemies during the night but not during the day.

For a method on how to actually earn this trophy, refer to the second paragraph of Electrified! for more details.

  • Craft your first item

The first chance that you'll be able to craft an item, is a Medkit for Mark just after killing your first infected. You will need both Alcohol, and Gauze in order to craft a Medkit. The Alcohol can be found inside a refrigerator in room 131 and the Gauze can be found inside a medical cabinet in room 133. Open your craft menu with the touchpad button, and press to craft the Medkit. The trophy will unlock shortly afterwards.

  • Use Blueprints at least 100 times

The same thing as Little Craftsman, but this time you need to craft 100 items. Anything on the blueprint menu counts towards earning this trophy, whether it's a weapon or a consumable item. It also does not have to be 100 different items for it to count, it can be the same. The easiest way to farm this trophy is to craft 100 lockpicks. A lockpick only needs 1x Metal Part so is the easiest item to make. Metal Parts are found all over Harran and can also be scraped from dismantling weapons by pressing the button. Only dismantle weapons that you do not need, however.

A perfect farming method to farm Metal Parts, is by dismantling unwanted weapons for infinite Metal Parts. If you go to the Tower, you can pick up a free weapon once a day from the Quartermaster. Keep sleeping in your bed and wait a full day for the Quartermaster to restock your rewards. This is a perfect way to farm 100 lockpicks within minutes. The trophy will unlock upon crafting 100 items.

  • Perform 10 successful Lockpicks

Throughout the game you will notice locked chests, and locked doors. In order to open these doors and chests you need to lockpick them. You will have to use the button to turn the analog stick, while using the analog stick to turn the pick. You will have to find the right spot to open the lock. Keep turning the turning pick () until you find the right area, then turn the pick () to open it. You will need to make sure that you have some lockpicks in your inventory, as you will need them in order to pick a lock. Once you have some, you will need to try to open locked chests across the game. Find the "sweet spot" of the lock by rotating the lock pick until it opens. If the lock doesn't move at all, then you are in the complete wrong part of the lock. If it moves a little or halfway round, then you are close to the spot. Locks range in difficulty from easy, medium, hard and very hard. The harder the difficulty, the smaller the "sweet spot". If you keep trying to open the lock in the wrong place, the lockpick will eventually break so make sure that you have lots of them on hand. You can also cancel a lockpick attempt by pressing while trying to pick a lock. Doing this can save you from breaking a lockpick, as they break after the 4th lockpick attempt. After you open 10 locks the trophy will unlock.

  • Reach Survivor Rank lvl 12

See The Legend of Harran for more details.

  • Reach Survivor Rank lvl 18

Reaching Survivor lvl 18 will be much harder than the other level specific trophies. Not only is it harder and longer but unlike Agility and Power XP, you can lose Survivor XP every time that you die. You cannot de-rank, however. This can be quite annoying as dying does take a decent amount of your XP. However, you earn Survivor XP from: completing quests, completing random events, turning in relief packages, and finding collectibles. Earning XP during the night also doubles, as well as evading pursuits. You will reach Survivor rank 18 just before you've completed every side quest, no matter how much you die.

  • Reach Agility Prof. Lvl 10

In order to earn this trophy, you must reach Agility level 10. You can earn agility XP by: Climbing, running, falling, collectibles flags and even jumping. The most efficient way to earn XP however, is by completing Agility challenges. Earning XP during the night also doubles, so you can always evade a pursuit while climbing across Harran. Reaching level 10 is also impossible to miss, as you'll reach this just before completing the game. When you reach level 10, the trophy will unlock.

  • Reach Power Prof. Lvl 10

In order to earn this trophy, you must reach Power level 10. You can earn Power XP by: Killing enemies, activating traps, and completing power challenges. This is probably the hardest skill to level up. However, reaching level 10 will come naturally during your platinum run. Earning XP during the night also doubles what you earn so if you activate traps while killing enemies, then you'll earn a good chunk of XP. When you reach level 10, the trophy will unlock.

  • Find all text collectibles

    GLITCHED

This trophy is currently glitched. For whatever reason it will not unlock when collecting all 67 and this has happened to a number of people. However, there is a way around the glitch. What you want to do is start a new save in slot 2. If you press on the new save to open the "Advanced" menu up then you can select what quest you want to start from. Pick any of the ones in old town so you have access to more collectibles. Now you just want to go around and pick up collectibles, and hope the trophy unlocks after a couple. It could unlock after 1 but for some it took at least 60 in order for it to unlock. You can stack the collectibles over all 4 save slots.

There are a total of 67 collectibles that you need to find for this trophy. They consist of 34 Notes, 17 Battle Journals and 16 Voice recordings. None of the collectibles are missable and they can all be picked up at any point in the story, and in free roam. A lot of collectibles need side quests in order to open up the building they are in, so you are best doing them before you attempt to get this trophy. The only exception to this are the battle journals, because they can be collected at any point during the game and don't require certain side quests to be completed. We have listed all the ones that require a side mission in the descriptions of each video if you want to collect them as you do side missions. We do, however, advise that you just do all side quests first then come back and do the collectibles. The videos below will show you the locations of all 67.

In order to check how many you have, press while in the inventory. You can see how many you are missing here and what ones you already have. The collectibles are all in order so it makes tracking them easy. You can also hold down to use your night sense while in the game world. Doing so highlights collectibles and such within a short range. This makes finding some of them a little easier.

  • Complete 1 quest in a co-op game

    See Polyamory for more details.

  • Complete 5 quests in a single co-op game with the same 3 partners

You need to complete 5 quests, in a single co-op game with the same 3 partners for this trophy to unlock. Main quests and side quests count towards this trophy. The easiest way to do this is to just finish 5 quests up until the point you need to hand them in, the invite 3 players and hand all the quests in. The trophy will unlock this way as you don't need to fully complete quests, you just need to turn in 5 quests while the same 4 players are in the game. Alternatively, you can just play 5 quests fully if you would prefer to but this is the quickest method.

To organize a boosting session, refer to the Co-op Partners Thread (Read First Post!).

  • Kill an enemy with a wrench, using Vault followed by Drop Attack

You need to be at least power level 10 and agility level 4 before you can attempt this trophy. Once you are the required level you want to purchase both the "Drop Attack" skill, which is in the power skill tree. You also want to purchase the "Vault" skill, which is in the agility skill tree. Once you have both you now need to equip a wrench. At lower levels you can buy them from vendors and you will find them as random loot more often from chests etc. However, once you are a high level then getting them to spawn can prove difficult. The best places we found to find one are:

    • Taurus Gas Plant - You can find them here on zombies, if zombies have spawned in the gas plant itself. Most of them should be carrying a wrench. The plant can be found HERE.
    • Train Track Warehouses - Sometimes, you can find zombies in the warehouses running alongside the train tracks. Zombies near them may be carrying a wrench.
    • Antenna Map Tunnel - In order to reach the antenna zone, you need to go through a long tunnel. Most the zombies here are carrying some sort of weapon, and quite a few of them are carrying a wrench. The entrance to this tunnel post game can be found HERE

Any wrench will do, and there are quite a few types in the game. Just as long as it has "wrench" in the name it will work for the trophy. Now all you need to do is run into a group of zombies, vault over one with and then hold while in the air. Hopefully, the attack will hit a zombie and instantly kill them. The trophy should unlock shortly afterwards. Here is a visual walkthrough:

  • Add a fire elemental effect to a sword or a khopesh

The "Bad Ass" blueprint will add a fire mod to one of your melee weapons if you have the parts to craft one. However, for the trophy it has to be a sword or a khopesh that you add the effect to. Khopesh's are also swords which is why you're able to use them as well. There are also a few types of other swords, such as: The "Medieval Sword" and the "Bastard Sword". Just make sure the icon, is an image of a sword. The "Bad Ass" blueprint will also work on cleavers etc but you wont get the trophy if you put it on one of those. Swords and khopeshs can be bought from vendors or found in the open world in crates, cars etc. Once you have one, simply craft the "Bad Ass" in the blueprints menu and the trophy will unlock. Do note, there are other fire elemental blueprints but this one is being shown for the purpose of the Guide. Here is a visual walkthrough for the location of the blueprint:

  • Jump to the water from the Infamy Bridge (Slums) at night

The Infamy Bridge is the huge bridge on the east side of the map, that has been split in the middle. All you need to do is jump down this gap at night and the trophy will unlock. Be warned, there is a ton of infected on the bridge so be careful you don't get swarmed by them. You will also encounter Volatiles on the bridge that are pretty hard to kill at lower levels. The best way to get to the other side of the bridge, is to just jump from car to car, that way you have a better chance at surviving. Once you get to the end of the bridge, simply jump off into the water and the trophy will unlock. Also bear in mind that you will have to survive the fall so try not to five into the rocks below.

For a visual walkthrough, refer to the video below:

This trophy will unlock during the final objective of this mission. You will have to "Survive the Arena". This is fairly simple to complete but the only issue is that all your weapons and items have been taken away so you have to use what is on the floor to survive. Kill all of the zombies first, afterwards you will have to fight a Demolisher. These are very powerful enemies and will hit you at close range. They can also throw chunks or rock at you from afar. The best method on how to kill it, is to dodge it's attacks and then hit it from behind with the machete that you are given. Virals will spawn about three times throughout the fight so kill them quickly to avoid taking too much damage. Once you kill the Demolisher, you will head out of the arena and then have to flee the area through the sewers. Simply run along the route to complete the mission and the trophy will unlock.

You must use guns as Rai's men will shoot at you, making it hard to kill them from afar. After you've met up with Jade, you will have to fight Tahir. He's not that difficult and very easy to dodge. Be sure to dodge his knife throws, however, as you can take a lot of damage. Tahir will eventually call for back up as well so kill Rai's men as soon as you can, rather than ignoring them.

  • Story related, and cannot be missed.

You must reach the Radio Station by travelling in the sewers. Once you've reached the station, you will have to find an access card to enter the power substation to turn the power for the radio tower. You need to complete 5 challenges in the Slums and 5 challenges in Old Town for a total of 10 challenges to earn this trophy. It does not matter if you complete them in the day or night for this trophy, just complete them. If you're not sure which ones you have completed, then you can go to the pause menu and look at the leaderboards for Parkour Fever and cycle though the list to see if you have a posted time.

The 5 in the Slums are:

    Location of NOT SO OBVIOUS

Go through all the above challenges at night time. If it is not night time then go to a Safe Zone and sleep until night then return to the challenge, it must be completed before it turns daytime.

Quarantine Zone locations are shown in the map with a symbol. You can go to the same one more than once. Each time you go into a Quarantine Zone and re-enter the GRE chests will re-spawn. The chests have valuable and unique weapons. I visited one zone and got 4 chests, I then completed the Zone left and returned. Upon opening the 1st chest on my return, the trophy popped.

Below are the locations of all 8 zones and there is a video on the Main Trophy Guide with more information about the zones.

    Slums - Underground Parking

DLC: The Bozak Horde

5 trophies

  • Complete Bozak's challenges

Complete all 20 rounds of the new Bozak Challenges at the stadium to earn this trophy. You will also earn a new bow weapon which you will also need in order to earn the other trophies for this DLC. In order to get to the stadium look at your map and go to the tower safe house. Look for a Bozak poster on the wall and press on it to enter the stadium. Upon entering, you will have all your belongings stripped from you so any weapons or medkits you want to use must be found throughout the challenge arenas. There are three man stages to these challenges:

    The Parking Garage

    • Defuse the bomb
    • Kill all virals
    • Kill virals and defuse the bomb
    • Reward stage kill the Bolters for medkits
    • Defuse the bomb. After defusing the first one the others will be found in the second stage.

    Indoor Office Reception Area

    • Continue defusing the bombs from the last round
    • Parkour Race checkpoint challenge
    • Kill the Thugs
    • Reward stage kill the Bolters for medkits
    • Defuse the 2 bombs
    • Parkour Race checkpoint challenge
    • Throw the gas cans in the marked hole
    • After completing the last challenge Demolishers (the big guys) will blow up and a new area will be revealed – take the zipline down to the elevator. And then kill all Virals that appear until the ride ends. When it ends open the doors by pressing to open the new area.

    Outside Stadium

    • Collect the weapons if you wish then press to open the gate and you'll have a Parkour Race checkpoint challenge
    • Kill all Bolters before the time runs out
    • Kill virals and then defuse the bomb when it appears on your map.
    • Fill all the chutes – a Parkour challenge where you must run to each chute and press on it to deliver a package. I found this challenge to be the hardest as Hazmat zombies blow up and kill you if they are close to you. Tip: Use fireworks to distract the hazmat zombies and reach the chutes unharmed.
    • Parkour Race checkpoint challenge
    • Lockpick the container then disarm the bombs.
    • Reward stage kill the Bolters for medkits
    • Kill all enemies (Virals and Demolishers) Here is where the trophy will pop. TIP: A good way to inflict damage on the Berserkers at the end is by throwing everything you got at them. Not only your grenades, molotovs or bombs but also your machetes and bladed weapons. To throw your bladed weapons at him: double tap to aim it, then press to throw it. After killing him you can collect your thrown weapons to use on the second one as well.
    • If solo you won and it's over but if in co-op, then kill your co-op partner(s) to get for Together Till the End

Here is a video courtesy of SlenderDan:

  • Be the last man standing

At the end of the 20th challenge you will be tasked to kill your co-op partner(s), be the last one alive to earn this trophy. You could potentially boost this if people will let you beat them and then take turns on who wins at the end.

  • Learn how to craft Electric Arrows

After completing the Bozak challenges once you will earn the bow. Play through the challenges again and when you kill Viral enemies (infected in orange clothes) search their dead bodies for arrows. After finding some arrows try and kill 10 Viral enemies throughout the playthrough. After killing your 10th Viral enemy with the bow the trophy will pop. You don’t need to win the 20 challenges to get the blueprint. You also don’t need to craft any electric arrows. Just simply earn the blueprint for the trophy.

  • Learn how to craft Exploding Arrows

After completing the Bozak challenges once, you will earn the bow. Play through the challenges again and beat it within a certain time to earn the blue print for exploding arrows. After beating it under the required time, you will earn the trophy. You don't need to craft any exploding arrows, just earn the blueprint for the trophy. This will probably be your hardest trophy to achieve in the DLC as the required time is very tight.

Here are the required times for earning the trophy:

    • Single Player: Complete Bozak challenges under 31 min.
    • Two Players: Complete Bozak Challenges under 28 min.
    • Three Players: Complete Bozak Challenges under 26 min.
    • Four Players: Complete Bozak Challenges under 25 min.
  • Score 10 headshots on Rais's men with a bow

Upon completing the 20 Bozak challenges you will earn the bow weapon. Return to the main game from the stadium and collect your belongings from your stash. Everything is taken from you in the stadium but will be waiting for you at your stash upon returning to the main game. Now look at your blue prints you will have earned from completing the Bozak challenges. Craft a bow. Craft some arrows (you only need the regular arrows). Find some of Rais’s men. I found them by going to Old Town and looking for air drops or Relief Packages. Relief Packages will only spawn in Old Town and are marked with a icon on your map. You're able to collect these as well in the Slums but they stop dropping through story progression, while packages in Old Town respawn even after you complete the game. There is a high probability to find Rais's men around these drops. When finding them, shoot them in the head with your new weapon. Often, they took two head shots for a kill and after killing them you can go and recollect your arrows from the dead bodies. Kill 10 with head shots to earn the trophy.

Here is a video I captured when I got the trophy on what the kills look like for this trophy:

DLC: The Following

10 trophies

  • Dive into the Countryside.

*Story Related* During the first quest of the game "The Way Out" you will come to a cliff with a deep enough lake below to dive into. The trophy pops before jumping

  • Meet your old friend again.

*Story Related* During the Main story quest "At the end of the Tunnel" you will eventually make your way to the Lighthouse. After climbing to the top an watching the cut-scene the trophy will pop once you regain control of Crane.

  • *Story Related* This trophy is for achieving Max Trust within "The Mothers" cult. After hitting Discipline Trust rank you will become Faceless an be trusted by "The Mothers" cult. The trophy will pop once you max out the trust.

Note: If you have any "Airdrop packages" to hand in at the Quarter-Master either from the base game or the DLC these are great ways to gain trust quickly without having to waste time with Side Quest. Hand in a stack of 30+ an you'll get max trust instantly. Big Thanks to Yoda91192 for pointing this out!

  • Kill a Demolisher with a car.

Demolishers are the Huge zombie that charges you and throws rocks for the attacks. You are forced to kill a few of these for certain story missions so you will be no stranger to them. While driving around the Countryside you come across random encounters with civilians trying to kill one. If you're trying to get this done with the Bare bones buggy, it will take a lot of ramming to kill him so I don't recommend it. See below for a list of locations.

Use a powerful Weapon such as a Katana with 2400+ damage to weaken the Demolisher with about 5 or 6 strikes to the back. Then, get in your buggy at the correct time while the Demolisher is stunned, and ram him until he dies. It should only take 5 good rams to drop him. Video of this: LINK

    Demolisher Locations:

During the "Vanitas" main story quest you will be sent to check on a associate of the Acolytes in a Mansion. At the front gate of the mansion is a fixed spawn point of a Green Demolisher an he can not be missed if you're on this main quest. Get the killing blow on the Demolisher with the Buggy, and the trophy is yours.

Post game there also should be another Demolisher spawn point along the South Eastern main road. Starting out on the Mansion Road, follow it down where it intersects with the main road. If the Demolisher isn't there, drive a good distance away and come back. See the image below for a reference point. Thanks to Aeirou for this location:

  • NOTE: This trophy is missable - Make a backup save before attempting this. If you fail, the racing poster will still be available but you will not be able to get another shot at beating Bilas time - 3:20:00 is the time you want to be aiming for! Big Thanks to Klaviersonate for confirming!

Bilal is the Mechanic and the Quatermaster in the Countryside. To win his race you first need to complete "The Mechanic" side quest. After this go inside the gas station an look at the billboard with all the side quest notes. You will see a a "Racing Poster" interact with it. This will give you a quest called "Burning Rubber" After this go talk with Bilal. He will set the race up an tell you to head to the beach with your buggy Fueled an Repaired. The Race is actually easy an is a 23 checkpoint race. To "Win" the race you have to beat Bilals time which is Three Minutes and Twenty Seconds ( 3:20:00 ) - I got the trophy after finishing with a time of Two Minutes and Ten seconds so you have some error room. The trophy will pop once Bilal says over the radio "Damn you beat my time." If you fail you can not retry so be sure to have a backup save.

Note: If you're playing in Co-Op, and trying to get this trophy, only the one who crosses the final checkpoint first will be awarded the trophy. So do not do this trophy while in a Co-Op lobby. Thanks to Seibei4211 for pointing this out!

  • *Story Related* During the Main story quest "At the End Of the Tunnel" you will eventually come to a section where you have 5 minutes to get from the lighthouse to the dam. Once inside the dam you will finally come face to face with The Mother. Leaving you with a choice of the GOOD ENDING or the BAD ENDING. It's up to you as the outcome does not matter. Once you regain control of Crane, the trophy will pop.

  • Witness the Following's meeting.

*Story Related*- During the Main story quest "The Gathering" Crane will be meeting the Faceless. You will be greeted by The Mother for the first time. Once you regain control of Crane from the cut-scene, the trophy will pop

  • Earning Driver XP is similar to earning Survivor XP or Agility XP except you actually have to be driving the Buggy and killing Zombies or doing challenges related to the Buggy in order to get Driver XP. You will most likey either be very close, or have this trophy, by the time you finish the Story. It depends on how much zombies you've killed while driving or Side activities you have done. Below is a list of activities that will award you Driver XP

    - Speeding Down the Street at top speed & Hitting jumps - 16-100 XP

    - Driving and Killing Zombies - Various on the amount of players in the lobby. 75 XP SOLO - 250 XP in Four Player Co Op

    - Driver Bounties - These are found on "Dart Boards" through out the countryside an also varies on the challenge difficulty - 500/1000 XP

    - Random Driver Challenges - While Driving the Buggy you'll see a prompt to hold the an start a certain challenge. e.g. Smashing challenge - Typically 500 XP if completed

The Image below outlines a Zombie filled Farm Field that is a great location for farming Driver XP.

Note: Regarding Co-Op, The XP system doubles for every person in the lobby. So if you want to get this trophy done the fastest way, start a "Four Player" Co-Op session and you will be getting 250 points per zombie kill and 700 points per Volatile kill. Head over to the farm fields an grind kills for about an hour, and the trophy is yours.

Solo players can do the exact same thing. You do not get nearly the same amount of XP, but farming kills in the Farm Fields is the fastest way of achieving Driver Rank 12. It's not recommended for Solo players if you are not done with the Story quests.

  • Destroy 50 scarecrows.

The Image Below shows what a Scarescrow looks like. They are located in the Farm fields throughout the Countryside. You can either wait until post game to go after this trophy, or there is an easy way to get all 50 done in roughly ten minutes. The video shows the easy method: LINK

  • Kill 500 zombies with your vehicle.

The Buggy is your only vehicle in the game. Don't worry about this trophy until you have completed every Story quest. Be sure to focus on this as you play to reduce the grind time post game. Depending on how many you kill, you may have this trophy before finishing the story. Also, if you would like, you can pair this trophy with the 50 scarecrows as the Farm Fields have the most zombies.

Killing zombies does break the buggies parts. So make sure you have done the "Buggy's Grail" side quest given to you by Bilal to get access to the "Trucker" who is on the Highway.
