Dragon Quest XI: Echoes of an Elusive Age is the eleventh mainline instalment in the long running Dragon Quest franchise. Not only is it the first entry to grace the Playstation 4, it's also the first release we've seen on home consoles here in the west in over ten years! In Dragon Quest XI you will be placed in the shoes of a silent and unnamed Hero. Upon completing his coming of age ceremony he is informed that he is not just an ordinary village boy as he has been lead to believe but in fact the reincarnation of a fabled hero of light, the Luminary. Not quite sure what this means, our Hero ventures forth seeking answers and in doing so takes his first footsteps on the path to his destiny: saving the world of Erdrea from an ever looming darkness.

Considering Dragon Quest XI's rather lengthy trophy list it is still a relatively easy platinum and you'll find yourself unlocking most of the trophies simply by playing through the massive amount of content on offer in this game. The story itself is split into three Acts. Act 1 and Act 2 is the main story and after defeating the final boss ending credits will roll however the game does not end here! Rather than your typical post game content Dragon Quest XI has opted to continue the story in Act 3 (Post Game) allowing you to develop the story even more and make your way towards unlocking the true ending. You will be required to do a little bit of grinding for the platinum as you do need to get all of your party members to level 99 and it's also time consuming collecting all of the appearance-altering clothing but all in all, the game is still fairly tame in comparison to RPG standards. There are also no missables to be concerned with. Content may get locked out at certain points during the story but after you reach Act 3 (Post Game) everything will be available again.

This trophy guide is for the NA/EU version of the game. The JP version of the game has a near identical trophy list except for the missing Worrywart trophy. It is instead replaced by a trophy unlocked by entering an incorrect code in the JP only Spell of Restoration input section of the Adventure Log menu. There are other small differences between the versions due to the NA/EU game being released later such as overhauled menus, UI and camera controls and an added dash feature (press while moving to run).

Difficulty disclaimer: Dragon Quest XI features a hard mode called Draconian Quest in which you can choose between a list of handicaps to make your playthrough more challenging. This can be turned on only upon starting a new adventure by pressing when you are choosing your adventure log name and, if you ever find things too difficult or annoying, can be switched off permanently at a church or prayer statue. As the platinum does not require any feature of Draconian Quest this trophy guide is written under the assumption you are playing the vanilla normal difficulty therefore the methods and tips listed here may not be applicable to you if you've chosen otherwise.

Step 1: Complete the story (Acts 1 and 2)

Basically just sit back and enjoy the story. The game itself is very linear. You will be restricted to a single path for most of the game but there are a few points where events are interchangeable. If you are ever feeling lost, you can open the mini map by pressing to see your current story objective or speak to any NPC with a pink speech bubble above their head (shown as a pink dot on the mini map) to get yourself back on track. To make things easier on yourself I do advise that whenever you reach a new area or town that you thoroughly explore the location. Chests, wardrobes and smashable pots/barrels are a valuable source of gold, Mini Medals, equipment and materials while red books in bookcases will contain recipes that you can use for crafting or lore that will deepen the story. For this run I suggest that you concentrate on riding all mountable monsters, speaking to every weather predicting cow and experiencing all Puff-Puffs simply to save yourself time backtracking later. It's also a good idea to destroy all of the Crackshot Crossbow bullseye targets in this step as you'll find the rewards on offer for this are more useful earlier in the game rather than later. Once you defeat the final boss ensure that you make a save when prompted to in order to access Act 3 (Post Game).

In regards to battle strategies and bosses, as stated earlier Dragon Quest XI is very tame. You won't need specific battle setups or strategies to defeat any of the story bosses so long as you are sufficiently levelled for the area. As a general rule of thumb you should always explore every field for treasures and sparkly locations and avoid running from monsters while doing so. You don't need to defeat every single monster you see, this won't be possible as there are far too many and they spawn relatively quickly too but make sure you aren't actively avoiding them. Throw in some side quests here and there and you shouldn't have to worry about any of the bosses in this step.

Note: If you are playing with your battle tactics set to any of the auto modes (anything but Follow Orders) make sure to turn on the use of Pep Powers by going to the tactics menu and pressing . You need to use 25 for a trophy and if these are turned off while you aren't controlling your characters it will never unlock.

During this step you will earn the following trophies:

A Close Call
A Disciple Worthy of the Name
Adventure Awaits!
A Spark Still Shines
Beating the House
Best of the Bastion
Bigger Fish to Fry
Big Hitter
Coming of Age
Dark Art
Forging Ahead
Hot Spring Hero
Ice-Breaker
If At First You Don't Succeed
Knight of the Living Dread
Mooteorologist
Mount Olympian
New Horizons
Out-Stand-In
Peppy-Go-Lucky
Pre-Emptor
Puff-Puff Buff
Ready as We'll Ever Be
Saviour of All Erdrea
Sea-Crossed Lovers
Sibling Revivalry
Soldier of Smile
Terra Incognita
The Loveliest Catch
The Power of the Luminary
The World Tree
Undisputed Champion of Erdrea
Wild Blue Yonder
Worrywart
Yggdrasil's Chosen
Beast Blaster
Crossbow Colossus

Step 2: Complete Post Game (Act 3)

Reload your save file from completing Act 2 and continue the story events. You will reach a point where you will be required to make a decision and will be warned multiple times that this is a point of no return. Don't worry, this is the only way to access Act 3 and all of the extra post game content so select yes. Act 3 consists of both a main storyline that leads you towards the true ending, as well as side stories in practically every town you've visited previously in the game. It's recommended that you continue the main storyline at least until the point where your characters regain their full strength and from that point you are free to pick and choose what you do. Keep in mind that you do not need to complete all of the side stories to obtain the platinum, just those that are required for the Dedicated Follower of Fashion and Swordsmith of Light trophies, but they are a good way to gain a few levels to tackle the final boss. Again, if at any point you get lost, look out for the pink speech bubbles and dots. The main storyline will also be indicated by pink exclamation marks at locations on the World Map and Sky Map. Defeat the final boss and watch the true ending to finish up this step.

During this step you will earn the following trophies:

A Momentous Decision
Master of the Skies
The Final Fight
Expert Itemologist
Echoes of an Elusive Age

Step 3: Clean up miscellaneous trophies

This step is designated for any trophies you may have left over at this point. As the game does not prompt you to save your game after defeating the final boss you are free to reload your save prior and continue working on any remaining trophies. The bulk of this will likely be levelling all characters to 99 and obtaining all of the appearance-altering outfits. See the respective trophy explanations for everything you need to know to unlock these.

During this step you will earn the following trophies:

Casino Connoisseur
Chef de Classe de Medailles
Flawless Sorceress
Island-Hopper
Knight Exemplar
Master Thief
Megastar
Next-Level Luminary
Swordsmith of Light
Undisputed Champion
Venerable Elder
Virtuoso Healer
Dedicated Follower of Fashion
Quest to Impress
Till Death Do Us Part
Ultimate Enlightenment
Living Legend

That’s it, you're done! Congratulations on your Platinum.

59 trophies ( 50  32  )

  • すべてのトロフィーを 獲得した

This trophy unlocks after collecting all other trophies.

  • モンスターを1000匹 討伐した

As the description says, simply defeat 1000 monsters to unlock this trophy. This will come naturally while playing through the game.

  • フィールド攻撃を30回 おこなった

You will be introduced to pre-emptive strikes very early into the game. Walk or run up to a monster and hit the button to initiate combat. Repeat 30 times to unlock this trophy.

  • すべてのモンスター乗り物に 乗った

As you traverse through the game you will come across gold sparkling versions of normal monsters. These monsters are mountable and once defeated in combat you will be prompted with a message telling you that you are now able to ride it. To unlock this trophy you need to find, defeat and ride at least one of every mountable monster species. Reskin variants are not required for this trophy. Below is a list of all species required and the earliest you can encounter them.

    • Eggsoskeleton - Kingsbarrow
    • Skull Rider's Steed - Cryptic Crypt
    • Horknight's Hornet - Laguna di Gondolia
    • Face Invader - Snaerfelt
    • Dragon Rider's Dragon - Mount Pang Lai
    • Headless Horseman's Horse - Gallopolis Desert (Act 2 onwards only)
  • れんけいを25回以上 使用した

While battling monsters your characters will eventually become pepped up and start glowing blue. During this state they will benefit from increased stats for a limited amount of turns, that can carry across multiple enemy encounters if you're quick enough. The specific stats increased will vary from character to character. Another added benefit of being pepped up is that you gain access to special powerful moves that you can perform with other party members by selecting Pep Powers from the battle menu when it is available. Some moves will require multiple party members to be pepped up at the same time so you will not always see the option.

To unlock this trophy you need to perform a total of 25 pep powers. These do not need to be unique so feel free to use the same move multiple times if it is the only one available. You may not have many pep powers to begin with but you will obtain more as you gain more party members, level up, progress the story and unlock more skills in the character builder.

Please note that if you are playing the game with the auto battle setup or even if you are only playing semi-manual, you must turn pep powers on by going to the Tactics menu and pressing . Doing so allows any characters set to an auto mode to be able to unleash these skills when they become available to them.

  • アイテムを500種類以上 入手した

This trophy requires you to collect 500 different types of item. This is cumulative so you do not need to own them all at once. You can keep track of how many items you've obtained already by looking at the Info tab located in the Misc section of the main menu.

You will most likely unlock this trophy naturally as every single type of item counts: weapons, armour, accessories, materials, key items and even recipes. It's worth noting that +1, +2 and +3 versions of equipment are not counted as separate items so there is no bonus to reworking anything you don't plan on equipping. If after completing all other trophies you still need this trophy, simply craft any items not already owned at the Fun-Size Forge or take a trip to all the shops in each town and buy any missing items.

  • すべてのおしゃれ装備を 集めた

Appearance-altering clothing are any head, chest or accessory slot items that have a pink star next to their illustration. As the name suggests, equipping all items belonging to a set will change the appearance of the equipped party member in battles and cutscenes. To unlock this trophy you will need to acquire every single piece of every set either by collecting them or crafting them from recipes at the Fun-Size Forge. There are quite a few and as some are only awarded in post game events unlocked in Act 3 you will be unable to obtain this trophy until then.

See the below video for an extremely detailed guide on finding all outfits including recipe and chest locations as well as the best methods for obtaining the required ingredients for crafting. I advise opening the video in YouTube directly, to make use of the handy timestamps in the video description.

  • メダルスタンプ帳を3ページ コンプリートした

The Album de Medailles is a key item obtained from speaking to either the lady standing next to the Slime in the Casino Hotel of Puerto Valor or from the headmaster at L'Académie de Notre Maître des Médailles. Once obtained you can exchange any Mini Medals you own for stamps to fill in pages of your album and unlock rewards at set milestones. In order to unlock more pages after the first you will need to see the headmaster at L'Académie de Notre Maître des Médailles as only he will continue to exchange medals from that point on. To unlock this trophy you need to fill in three out of the four pages available in this album which requires 75 Mini Medals.

Mini Medals are found practically everywhere. In chests, in smashable pots and barrels in towns and are even awarded from completing quests. There are more than enough to unlock this trophy without grinding simply by thoroughly exploring all areas in the game but there are of course options to farm them if necessary. You can steal them from the Umbra and Vicious Penny Pincher monsters located in The Disciple's Trial - Cruel Crypts which will require you to be in Act 3 (Post Game) and have access to the trials in the Zwaarsdrust underground ruins. They are also awarded as a consolation prize from the Gallopolis Black Cup horse race. The Black Cup is unlocked through successfully completing a trial in the Zwaarsdrust underground ruins and selecting "I wish I could enter a top-level horse race!".

  • ふしぎな鍛冶で アイテムを10個以上 作成した

The Fun-Size Forge is your means to crafting weapons, armour and accessories in the game. It is only accessible at campfire locations and will unlock fairly early into your playthrough. When you first gain access to the Forge you will be thrown into a tutorial and given the recipe and ingredients to make your first weapon. Follow along to learn the basics.

To unlock this trophy you will need to craft a total of ten items. This will come naturally as you need to craft well over ten items for the Dedicated Follower of Fashion trophy but you will be unable to craft anything unless you acquire more recipes. Recipes can be found by searching for red books in bookshelves, opening treasure chests and sometimes are awarded from completing quests and other tasks. On top of this, you will need the required ingredients but most early recipes will be craftable with items found at sparkly locations on the map or sold at item shops and campfire vendors.

  • ふしぎな鍛冶で アイテムを10個以上 うちなおした

Not only can you create items at the Fun-Size Forge but you can also rework gear that you already own into +1, +2 and +3 variants to increase it's stats and make it more effective. Instead of ingredients, reworking items puts use to the Perfectionist Pearls that you have gained from successfully crafting items. Gear will require different amounts of Pearls dependent on the rank and difficulty of the piece of gear so you won't be able to tell how many are needed until you are in the Rework Item menu of the Fun-Size Forge.

To unlock this trophy you will need to successfully rework items ten times. Reworking an item works exactly the same as crafting an item in terms of the forging mini game. You will need to be more mindful when attempting to hit as close to the middle of the "sweet spot" indicator as possible on all segments as this is what determines the strength of your upgrade. Likewise, if you fail too many segments you will fail the upgrade completely and lose all Perfectionist Pearls used in the attempt. Your original item will be returned to you and you can rework gear an unlimited amount of times until it reaches +3 so this isn't as severe a handicap as it may first seem. Pearls are easily re-obtained and can even be purchased from a vendor later in the game for 100G a piece.

  • ふしぎな鍛冶で +3の装備品を 作成した

To unlock this trophy you need to successfully craft a +3 piece of equipment. There are two ways in which you can achieve this. While crafting an item from scratch if you do well enough in the forging mini game and manage to hit the "sweet spot" indicator on enough segments you will be awarded with a +3 piece of gear by default. You also have the option of reworking an already owned piece of gear enough times to upgrade it to a +3 version (see If At First You Don't Succeed for details on reworking items).

You don't really need to go out of your way to earn this. As your Hero levels up in the game so will your Fun-Size Forge which will unlock new skills and increase your Focus. By late game you will be making perfect items without even trying, especially if you are making a low level item.

  • ふしぎな鍛冶で 最強の剣を 作った

To unlock this trophy you need to forge the Supreme Sword of Light on your Fun-Size Forge. This is only obtainable in Act 3 (Post Game) by following the below steps.

    1. Progress the post game story until you unlock the trials found at the Zwaarsdrust underground ruins. Choose to partake in and complete The Disciple's Trial, making sure to collect the Phial of Lumen Essence found in a chest at the Eerie Valley - Pheonix's Nest. It's also advisable while in this map to pick up an Orichalcum from the mining sparkly spot. Complete the trial and select "I wish I had a super powerful weapon!" to receive a recipe book for the Supreme Sword of Light.
    2. Zoom to Gallopolis to reacquire the Forging Hammer. This can be obtained by winning the Platinum Cup horse race on easy difficulty.
    3. Make your way to Mount Huji and find Miko in the Caldera - Lower Area map. Talk to her and when requested give her the Lumen Essence you found earlier. After watching the scenes she will give you the Crucible Key.
    4. While in Hotto, speak to the blacksmith with the pink speech bubble in the west area of the map. Sell him the piece of Orichalcum you collected earlier and he will mention using it to forge an awesome weapon. Leave town, rest a night and return to buy the Sword of Kings at the item shop behind the blacksmith.
    5. Farm another piece of Orichalcum. This can be done in the same location as earlier or you can visit The Battleground. There is a sparkly spot location for this behind the Ultimate Key door on Level B8 or you can obtain one from the exact same spot you did in Act 2 on Level B9.
    6. Forge the Sword of Light at the Crucible on Mount Huji and then the Supreme Sword of Light on your Fun-Size Forge.

You should have most of the other required materials to craft the Sword at this point in the game. The only one that may pose a problem is the Crimsonite which can be obtained by trading Serpent Souls to Krystalinda in Sniflheim. Serpent Souls can be stolen from Royal Reptiles at the Ruins of Dundrasil.

  • 勇者の道を 極めた

This trophy is awarded when your Hero reaches level 99.

While there is a lot of content in this game there is not nearly enough for you to reach level 99 naturally without any grinding whatsoever. Luckily the Metal Slime family has returned. If you aren't new to the franchise you'll know that Metal Slimes are notorious for awarding ridiculously high xp amounts but are also prone to fleeing and have such high defence that unless you score a critical hit chances are you won't kill them before they manage to run away. You will encounter various types of Metal Slimes while progressing through the game but there is also an extremely easy way to spawn them with the use of the Electro Light pep power. You can further enhance the experience drops with the Hallelujah pep power making the grind to level 99 for all characters a mere few hours. Keep in mind that this method is only available to use after you have been reunited with majority of your party members in Act 2 however is best left as a last resort after completing all other content in the game.

    Preparation:

    1. Set your battle tactics to Follow Orders for all characters
    2. Make sure you've learnt the following abilities on these characters: Pep Up on your Hero, Lightning Thrust on Jade and Critical Claim on Erik.
    3. You will also need a healthy supply of Pep Pip items which should be equipped on Sylvando. You should have obtained a fair amount already from chests and quests but you can always buy more at Octagonia Casino for 125,000 tokens. At character levels 70+ in Act 3 (Post Game) you recoup the Pep Pip used after each successful attempt of this method.
    4. Find a location on a field that has a nearby campsite and weak enough enemies that you will be able to survive multiple attacks without needing to heal or be hindered by status effects. Defend continuously until you have the following characters pepped up: Erik, Jade, Rab and Sylvando. Switch in your Hero and use Pep Up then quickly finish or flee the battle. This will take around 5-10 minutes of continuous defending.
    5. Save your game. This is crucial as if anything goes wrong you will have to reload your save and you don't want to waste the time you spent preparing.

    Method:

    1. Start the battle with Hero, Erik, Jade and Sylvando in your team.
    2. Use the Hallelujah pep power on your first turn to boost xp rates, gold dropped and guarantee item drops from all monsters.
    3. Swap Erik out for Rab.
    4. Use the Pep Up ability on Hero and get Sylvando to use a Pep Pip item on Jade.
    5. Use the Electro Light pep power to, hopefully, summon three slimes from the Metal Slime family. There is a small failure rate for this one that can result in summoning three Mechs instead. If this happens reload your save from earlier and try again.
    6. Swap Sylvando out for Erik.
    7. On Rab's turn use Dirge of Dundrasil pep power to attempt to put the Metal Slimes to sleep allowing you more chances to kill them before they flee.
    8. Attack only with the critical hit abilities mentioned earlier and defend with anyone else. You may want to reload your save if you fail to kill any of the slimes before they flee purely to get the highest xp possible from your preparation time. The choice is yours.

Some of the steps are interchangeable. For instance, you don't necessarily need to have Rab use Dirge of Dundrasil and can opt to just outright kill the slimes hoping they don't flee. You also have the option of swapping in other characters that know critical hit abilities but keep in mind they won't be able to act for a turn.

  • 点在する島々の すべての船着き場に 寄港した

Shortly after the story events at Gondolia you will be given access to a ship with which you can make port at various towns, regions and islands on the world map. You can quickly identify these as they are indicated with an anchor icon.

To unlock this trophy you need to visit each of the seven islands that can be seen on the map. This will not be possible until after the story events at The Strand and Lonalulu as not only do you need to gain access to the open ocean but you also need the Lorelei's Harp key item to make port at the last island. Below is a list of all islands you will need to make port at and their general location on the world map.

    • Insula Australis - Directly East of Gondolia.
    • Insula Occidentalis - North of The Strand.
    • Insula Algarum - North-east of Insula Occidentalis.
    • Insula Incognita - South of The Strand.
    • Insula Orientalis - East side of the map.
    • Insula Centralis - Use the far North-Nast light column to access this one.
    • Insula Borealis - Far North of the map.
  • すべてのマトを 射抜いた

After finishing the story events at Gallopolis in Act 1 you will be given the Crackshot Crossbow key item. The Crackshot Crossbow allows you to target monsters on the field, that may be outside of your pre-emptive attack's reach to attract them to your location and initiate combat. Another use for the Crossbow is being able to hit small bullseye targets hidden all over Erdrea. Before starting this mission ensure you speak to the Crackshot Crossbow Master in Gallopolis located just South of the Gallopolis Palace. This will allow you to speak to Bodkin Archers who have set themselves up at campfires in any region that contains bullseyes and check on your progress or claim prizes for clearing the region.

To unlock this trophy you need to destroy all 55 bullseye targets in the game and then return to the Crackshot Crossbow Master for your last reward. The bullseyes are divided into five per region in the following regions.

    • Gallopolis Region
    • Laguna di Gondolia
    • The Costa Valor
    • The Manglegrove
    • The Emerald Coast
    • Zwaardsrust Region
    • Dundrasil Region
    • Sniflheim Region
    • The Snaerfelt
    • The Champs Sauvage
    • Insula Islands

See the below video for an extremely detailed guide on hunting down each and every bullseye in the game. I advise opening the video in YouTube directly, to make use of the handy timestamps in the video description.

  • すべての天気予報を 聞いた

As you traverse fields in the game you will run into cows that when spoken to will give you a weather prediction for the next day or so. Speak to all of them to unlock this trophy. Below is a list of locations for all the cows you must speak to.

    • The Emerald Coast - North-West area of the map before the bridge.
    • Manglegrove - Across the bridge North of the Woodcutter's Hut.
    • Manglegrove - Across the bridge South of the Woodcutter's Hut.
    • Laguna di Gondolia - Center area of the map on the eastern side.
    • Zwaardsrust Region - South of the inn near the entrance to the path to your ship.
    • Dundrasil Region - Just outside the campfire.
    • The Champs Sauvage - Just West from Phnom Nonh.
    • Sniflheim Region - North from the entrance to Sniflheim.
    • The Snaerfelt - North from the campsite in the middle area of the map.
  • カジノの称号を10個 獲得した

Whilst progressing through the game you will come across two casinos. The first is in Puerto Valor during Act 1 and the second is in Octagonia from Act 2 onwards. Before being able to do anything in the casino you must first purchase some casino tokens at the token vendor counter. Once done you will be able to play the casino games to earn further tokens to trade in for prizes such as weapons, recipe books and rare items. All of the casino games play pretty much how you would expect them to with the exception of the Slime Quest Slots but there is an extremely in depth rules and information section for this particular game accessible from the slot menu itself to compensate for this.

To unlock this trophy you need to attain at least ten casino-related accolades by reaching milestones in the various games or winning jackpots. It is probably easiest to obtain the ones for playing the games a selected amount of times and then finish up by auto-playing the Slime Quest Slots. Keep in mind when you first reach the Octagonia casino you will be unable to earn accolades due to story reasons, clear the story events here to access the casino as per normal. Below is a list of all accolades you can obtain. As you can see there are well over ten that you can earn so there is a lot of leeway in how you can go about it.

    Casino Tokens:

    • Beginner's Luck - Amass 100,000 casino tokens.
    • Lucky Break - Amass 500,000 casino tokens.

The Puff-Puff is an infamous staple in the Dragon Quest franchise involving scenes where the screen will go black and it will be left up to your imagination to fill in the blanks. This trophy will unlock upon experiencing all the Puff-Puffs the game has to offer. Follow the list below to find them all.

    • Hotto Steam Bath - Make your way outside to the girl standing at the end of the walkway. This Puff-Puff will cost 10G.
    • Gallopolis - The girl standing in front of the house located between the weapon and armour shops. Keep selecting yes when prompted.
    • Gondolia - Go to the northernmost part of town and access the lower level from the east side to speak to the girl next to the barrels.

Quests can be accepted by talking to NPCs that have a purple speech bubble above their head (also shown as a purple dot on the mini map) and accepting to take on their task. These quests are generally straightforward and will consist of defeating monsters, crafting items, talking to other NPCs or collecting items. You can track your progress in the Quest Catalogue area located in the Misc section of the main menu. There is a grand total of 60 quests in the game but they will not all be accessible to you at first. You must progress the story and reach new areas to continue unlocking them. Likewise there will be times where quests become unavailable if you haven't already completed them. This is for story reasons and after reaching Act 3 (Post Game) they will all become available again. There is no limit to how many quests you can undertake at the same time so it's best to accept all of them as you come across them in case you accidentally stumble upon the requirements to complete them in your travels.

To unlock this trophy you need to complete 40 quests. As you have a 20 quest buffer you have a lot of leeway in deciding which quests you would like to complete. Personally I would avoid any that require you to kill monsters by using a certain pep power, at least early in the game anyway, as it can be time consuming attempting to get the exact characters required pepped up at the same time and also get into a fight with the correct monster without ever losing your pepped up status in order to actually pull these off.

  • ドゥルダの大修練場で すべての修行を 終えた

The Wheel of Harma is a set of challenges unlocked after completing the story events in Angri-La during Act 2. You can access them by speaking to the High Lama at the Field of Discipline. These challenges require you to select which party members will participate in certain rounds of a multi-round battle. You will be awarded a prize for completing each challenge as well as up to three additional prizes by completing it within a certain amount of actions.

To unlock this trophy you need to complete all five challenges. You will not have access to all of these until Act 3 (Post Game). While you do not need any of the extra prizes awarded for completing them in a set amount of actions for this particular trophy there are some recipes for Dedicated Follower of Fashion that will require you complete them quickly. For this reason it is best to leave at least the final challenge, if not all of them, until you've reached level 99 on all characters (see Next-Level Luminary for tips on levelling). As far as tactics go, the easiest way to overcome these challenges is to make sure you have at least one character with strong AOE attacks in each round to try to finish off multiple monsters at once lowering your actions taken. You should be able to blitz through the first four rounds but the final challenge in particular is the most difficult as not only are the enemies tougher, you will have an NPC that summons adds continuously throughout the rounds extending the turns you will have to use. There are many methods to obtain this but if you're struggling I've included my setup below.

    • Round 1 - Rab and Sylvando. Rab should use Kamikaze and hopefully will kill all three at once. Sylvando can clean up if need be or flee and try again.
    • Round 2 - Hero and Hendrik. I had them both with greatswords using Unbridled Hit on the main enemy. When adds are summoned and main enemy goes down Hero can use Quadraslah and Hendrik can use pretty much anything else to help clean up.
    • Round 3 - Jade and Erik. Jade uses Multifeet and Erik uses Divide then Critical Claim on the main enemy. When adds are summoned Jade can use Pink Tornado while Erik cleans up.
    • Round 4 - Veronica and Serena. These two must be pepped up prior to starting the challenge. Use the Mighty Magic Burst pep power to one hit both enemies.
