Disney Infinity 3.0 is the third installment in the Disney Infinity series. Like the other two, the game allows players to place a figure on the base and transport that character into the game. The game itself consists of 3 basic modes:
Play Sets: The Play Sets are where the story takes place. Each play set is set in a different Disney world. For Disney Infinity 3.0 Star Wars, the play sets are for the Star Wars: Clone Wars, Star Wars: The Original Trilogy, Star Wars: The Force Awakens, and Inside Out, the new Disney film with emotions as characters. In addition to these play sets, they have also for the first time, released two new sets that have trophies attached to them. The two play sets with trophies attached are Marvel: Battlegrounds and Finding Dory. In addition, to the trophies they provide acquiring these sets will also make completing the requirement for 75 feats much easier if you haven't already earned that trophy, as each Playset comes with its own set of feats.
Toy Box: The Toy Box Games or adventures are really a subcategory of the Toy Box since there are user creations and Community Content. This guide will focus mainly to the official Toy Box Hub that gives players a tutorial on what they could create themselves and where much of the creation aspect in the game lies. The Toy Box is intended to be an open-world playground of your own creation. You can create your own world and games here. Recently added was the idea of Farming and growing crops and increasing your sidekicks’ levels in Disney 3.0.
My INterior: Create your own house to play in, and decorate it anyway you see fit, or decorate how other in game characters tell you to in order to complete feats and earn more sidekicks.
As far as trophies go, you can begin in whichever mode you'd like. You can easily switch between them and none of the trophies are missable. I've listed my recommended order for obtaining the trophies in the walkthrough.
Note: As of 3/3/2017 the online servers have closed affecting some trophies. I highlighted these trophies in red as they are no longer able to be achieved without online access.

Step 1: Online/Multiplayer
I would recommend for you to complete the 10 Online Arcade games first and get those out of the way. You'll have to connect to 3 other players online and depend on that connection to get the trophy. So head to the Toy Box Hub and go to Flynn's Arcade first to get those out of the way. The rest of the trophies could be done at any time in any order and in local Co-op.
At the end of this step you will have acquired:
Arcade Ace
Outside Concessions
Friendly Competition
Blow to Your Character - can still be done local offline
Double Trouble - can still be done local offline
Step 2: Toy Box/My INterior
The Toy Box Hub is a great place for you to start. There are quite a few quest givers in the area and completing their quests will provide you with a tutorial into the game's mechanics and introduce you to many elements that tie directly back into the trophies or feats. It's also a great place to start earning the Sparks (in-game currency) you'll need to purchase the items required by the trophies. There are portals in this area to the Hall of Heroes, My INterior, and Toy Box Adventures. Visit all the areas, check out the tutorials, Toy Box Adventure Portals and focus on a few trophies or feats requiring miscellaneous actions.
At the end of this step you will have acquired:
The Buddy System
Feeding Frenzy
Fruitful Harvest
Press Save to Continue
Born Adventurer
Tutorial Totality
INterior Mansion
Attained Terrain
A Roomy Affair
Toy Store Buyout
On the Nice List
Step 3: Clean-up & Feats
It is entirely possible (quite likely even) that after completing all of the previously mentioned trophies you'll have some of these "Feats" trophies. Play in your Star Wars Play Set or any set you've purchased and enjoy the story. Remember to look at the feats so you can complete them as they come up in the story. However, don’t worry about it if you miss one, as you can replay missions and there is an option in the pause menu to select and replay any mission. Nothing is missable. Also make sure that you pick off the easy feats. Then set out to get the easy feats left in the toy box, and the INterior and keep systematically choosing and completing feats.
At the end of this step you will have acquired:
Turquoise Feats
Silver Feats
Gold Feats
Diamond Feats
Platinum Hero

- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available.
Disney Infinity 3.0 is the third instalment in the Disney Infinity series. Like the other two, the game allows players to place a figure on the base and transport that character into the game. Unlike most DLC content, this DLC cannot be purchased digitally from the PSN store. You must purchase the Marvel Battlegrounds Playset from local retail stores such as Walmart, Target, Best-Buy, Toys R Us, or Order Online from Amazon. This DLC is an arena battle royal fighting type of game and has 3 different modes.
Versus: This mode is for up to four local players. There is no online connection available for this content. Versus has 4-5 types of various games you can play.
Story Mode: There is a small story that you can play through to stop Ultron from getting or using an infinity stone.
Challenges: A few challenges are unlocked initially, but you'll have to finish the Story Mode to unlock all 28 challenges. The challenges just ask you to defeat 1-5 characters, and if you do it with a certain character then you can unlock alternate outfits or toys for your toy box mode found in the base game.
As far as trophies go, you will need four PS4 controllers to unlock every trophy but the good news is you do not need all the character figures for any of them. It comes with a Captain America figure which you could use to get 100% of the trophies with. You can easily switch between the modes and none of the trophies are missable but I've listed my recommended order for obtaining the trophies in the walkthrough.
STEP 1: VERSUS MODE
Click vs. Mode at the beginning make sure to have four PS4 controllers logged in. If you own any Marvel characters put them on the base to load them into the game, and they will be available in the select your fighter menu. If you do not have anyone but the Captain America the set came with, then you will have to use the free timed available characters but you get new free trial characters daily. Alternatively, you can use the trial tokens to use any character you want in the Versus mode. You are provided with some tokens initially for free, and you earn more as you play. No matter how you get your characters you will want at least one flying character selected for the Take My Wings trophy.
After this step you will earn the following trophies:
Take My Wings
Fighting Friends
Special Delivery
STEP 2: STORY MODE
There are no trophies directly associated with this mode. However, you need to complete the story for two reasons.
1: You will get the much needed experience points (XP).
2: You need to finish the story to unlock all the challenges.
STEP 3: CHALLENGE MODE
After completing the story mode you will have 28 challenges (1 challenge for each of the 28 marvel figures created) unlocked. Each challenge requires you to beat 1-5 characters but you do not need to beat it with the character suggested so don't worry if you don't have that figure. Beating it with the recommended figure only unlocks alternate outfits or toys for your toy box and winning the fight counts as completing the challenge for earning the trophy.
After this step you will earn the following trophies:
Great Collection
Veteran Hero

Finding Dory DLC:
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 (personal opinion)
-
Offline trophies: 5 (4
, 1
)
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to 100: 3-4hrs (personal opinion)
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 complete playthrough and almost a whole 2nd playthrough for collectables.
- Number of missable trophies: 0
- Glitched trophies: 0
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
- Do trophies stack?: Yes, the PS3 and 4 versions of this game have separate lists
You must purchase the Finding Dory Playset from local retail stores such as Walmart, Target, Best-Buy, Toys R Us, or Order Online from Amazon. This DLC is mostly a side scrolling adventure game. There is also a main hub that is a first person free roam open environment. Both of these are beautifully created and visually appealing like the movies they are based on.
Main Hub: In the main hub (Morro Bay) is where you'll find your challenges for the Challenge Accepted trophy. You can hit the options button to get to your skill tree and level up Dory here as well. You will also build all your buildings here to obtain the Morro By Builder trophy. The buildings allow you to level up your sidekicks and give you other perks as well.
Story Mode: The main game is the story mode. You will have to play through this almost 2 times to get all the collectables. You will nee all 3 of your sidekicks abilities to get all the collectables (lost fish) You will not get all your sidekicks abilities until the last 3 levels. All the ones before that must be replayed.
Challenges: There are 5 challenges in the main hub of Morro Bay. None are all that hard and you should be able to beat them on your first try, even without a leveled up Dory. However, if you are finding them difficult then you could simply save them until the end or after you have leveled up Dory's swim speed.
As far as trophies go, you will only need 1 controller to unlock every trophy and you can get all 100% of the trophies with just Dory. No Action Figure characters work in this play set. Although I don't have it, I believe the only other figure you could put on the base to play in co-op would be the Little Nemo figure but without him you will have to play a solo game like I did.
STEP 1: STORY MODE
Complete the story mode to level up Dory and your sidekicks. You cannot get all of the lost fish in the MLI (Marine Life Institute) without all 3 of your sidekicks' full set of abilities. You do not need any of Dory's leveled up abilities but increasing her speed, health and other traits does make the game even easier.
After every level or so you willreturn to the Morro Bay hub and Marlin the clown fish (Nemo's Dad) will give you missions to build houses. These houses upgrade your sidekicks' abilities and give you other perks. One house that he doesn't ask you to build, but you can pay to build it (pay with collected shells) is the sonar ship. It is a good idea to build this ship and then press to blow a bubble at its Infinity button. This will activate a sonar and show all collectables in you radar (located in the lower left of your hud). This will make it easy to find all the lost fish (collectables).
You can find your quests, missions, or challenges by looking for an exclamation points and dots:
- ! = Side Mission or Side Quest.
- ! = Main Mission
- O = Challenge
After this step you will earn the following trophies:
Shell Collector
Turn Out the Lights
Morro Bay Builder
STEP 2: COMPLETE THE CHALLENGES
There are 5 Challenges that will unlock as you progress through the story. You can choose to do them as they appear or wait until the end and do all five at once. They are all easy but if you wait until the end and have leveled up Dory's swim speed then they are even easier, as you only need to qualify for the Bronze rating.
After this step you will earn the following trophies:
Challenge Accepted
STEP 3: REPLAY AND CLEAN UP
Once you get to the third to last map, you will have all your sidekicks' abilities, and can now access any place on all the levels. Furthermore, if you activated the Sonar on the ship building in Morro Bay, all the collectables will be lit up on your radar making it a breeze to find all the lost fish (collectables). You can go ahead and finish the game, then replay all the levels or at the level select screen move the marker over the completed levels and choose to replay them before moving on.
After this step you will earn the following trophies:
Morro Bay Superstar
