Adam Jensen makes a return in Deus Ex: Mankind Divided which follows the aftermath of the Aug Incident that occurred during Human Revolution, a day when mechanically augmented citizens all over the world were stripped of control over their minds and bodies, resulting in the death of millions of innocents. Two years later, the year is now 2029 and the golden era of Augmentations is over. Augmented humans have now been deemed as outcasts and segregated from the rest of society. As part of the anti-terrorist group Task Force 29, Adam must work to capture a terrorist group of augmented humans and prevent the passing of the Human Restoration Act.
The trophy list of Mankind Divided is more of an upgraded version to that of Human Revolution’s trophy list. Some things make a return like both the Pacifist and Foxiest of the Hounds trophies. Most of the trophies are missable and you're required to complete Side Missions, make various in-game decisions, as well as doing the many new Augmentation Combat and Miscellaneous trophies.
Story/Side Missions Trophy Unlock Flowchart (All possible trophies in one playthrough 45/51)
Dialogue & Social Battles, Decisions, Hacking, Combat and Save Files:
- Save your game regularly. You should save before starting each Main/Side Mission and have 2-3 running saves for progressing through the mission. You can have up to maximum 40 Save Files (you also have 2 Auto-Save Files).
- Before you hack devices (computers, terminals, keypads, safes, etc.) make a Manual Save first. If you fail a hack an alarm might be triggered. Saving before hacking should become a habit throughout your playthrough.
- Mankind Divided doesn't have that many Social Battles trophies and for most of them, the choices you make really doesn't matter. However, some of the Social Battle trophies do require you to select certain choices as a prerequisite to another trophy unlocking later on in your playthrough. All the correct answers are mentioned in the Trophy Guide.
- Additionally, as you progress through the game you'll be asked to make certain decisions that will influence the outcome of your Main/Side Missions. It's best to save your game before making these decisions, so you can reload once you have the trophy and choose the other choice.
- There are many Augmentation Combat trophies for you to achieve. Before attempting these trophies you want to make an alternate save, do either the Time Traveler or Honor Holds Us All Together trophy and use the Underground Casino to do a majority of the combat trophies. It should be noted that the enemies need to be in "Hostile" state in order for the combat trophies to unlock. Combat trophies don't work on civilians or police. After getting a combat trophy, reload your alternate save and do another combat trophy. The only combat trophy you cannot do is Invisible War until you've progressed further in the story.
Foxiest of the Hounds & Pacifist:
- Always play stealthily. While not 100% necessary make it a habit to avoid being seen at all times. If enemies/cameras don't see you, they won't have any reason to raise an alarm for Foxiest of the Hounds , apart from discovering bodies of their comrades.
- "Suspicious", "Searching" and "Panic" enemies won't void the Foxiest of the Hounds from unlocking, but you do need to be careful at certain locations with the "Panic" status. For example, if you go to the Bank and one of the workers there spots and become "Panic" due to Adam's unwelcome presence, they will run away and inform the security, which in turn voids your Foxiest of the Hounds from unlocking.
- For Pacifist trophy, use 100% non-lethal methods to achieve all of your objectives throughout the duration of the game. The non-lethal means available are non-lethal melee takedowns, Stun Gun, Gas Grenade/Mine, Tranquilizer Rifle, P.E.P.S. Aug, Tesla Aug, and Typhoon Non-Lethal Aug. Stick with using the non-lethal takedowns and your choice of either the Tranquilizer Rifle or Stun Gun. Use these methods and always check the enemies you knockout for a “ZZZ” icon. If they're displaying a "Skull" icon it means that you've killed them. Reload your save file if you see any red "Skull" icons on anybody you've directly knocked out.
Tablet Collector (Collectibles):
- There are a total of 75 eBooks in the game that must be read in a single playthrough and registered in your database.
- A number of eBooks are limited to specific locations and once you complete the main mission and leave the place, that eBook is gone forever.
- In addition, you need to make the following choices during the course of the game in order to access the eBooks that are related to the location where the mission takes place (Credits to Powerpyx):
- Side Mission SM02 "Cult of Personality" - Must play this mission during first or second visit to Prague.
- Main Mission M07 - Win debate with Talos Rucker (Turn Tables, Patronize, Justify, Turn Tables).
- Main Mission M10 - After mission 10 you must decide whether to play a bank heist or help Allison. You have to play the bank heist (mission 12) and skip helping Allison (skip mission M11 completely). This is the only way to get the eBook in the bank vault. Allison's church complex will be open after completing the bank heist in mission 12.
- Side Mission SM10 "The Harvester" - Must exonerate both suspects (Gunn & Radko) and do all optional objectives. Complete this before main mission 13.
- Side Mission SM11 "The Last Harvest" - Triggers during main mission 14, two eBooks only show up while this mission is active.
Step 1: Complete the game on any difficulty while focusing on the eBook Collectibles, combat and miscellaneous trophies and completing all Side Missions (Optional: Aim for Pacifist and Foxiest of the Hounds)
Mankind Divided requires you to complete the main Story Mode at least two times for the Platinum Trophy's requirement. Since you need to do two different playthroughs regardless, there is room for trial and error if you do fail at obtaining certain missable trophies. Especially when it comes down to the collecting all eBooks, Pacifist , and Foxiest of the Hounds trophies. However, it's possible to obtain all Story Mode trophies in a single playthrough, excluding I Never Asked For This and the online trophies. This means you can obtain 45/51 possible trophies if you did an absolute perfect playthrough. For guidance, please take a look at our Flowchart or you can refer to this supplement thread:
Step-by-Step Platinum Walkthrough (credits to StayPationt)
With the above supplement thread, you'll have a much higher chance of obtaining every possible trophy within a single playthrough. Now, when you're doing an all-in-one playthrough run you need to obtain all the eBook Collectibles, Story/Side Mission trophies, and all Combat and Miscellaneous related trophies. This requires you to keep all those things in mind while also playing and completing the game without setting off an alarm (Foxiest of the Hounds ) or killing anybody including bosses (Pacifist ). You can save your game anywhere and you have a total of 40 save files, plus two auto-save slots. Saving is the key to obtaining all the possible trophies within a single playthrough. If you ever mess up or fail a hack, reload your last manual save so you can retry again. Remember, always play stealthy and try to obtain the "Ghost" and "Smooth Operator" XP Bonus awards. These awards are a good way of keeping you informed that you still have the Pacifist and Foxiest of the Hounds trophies while you're playing (note that not all levels have an alarm for "Smooth Operator" to appear).
Additionally, there are a few things to look out for and they are the point of no returns. Some places you can only visit once and before you head to these places, you want to make sure that you've obtained all possible Side Mission trophies. All of these trophies are in the Story/Side Missions Trophy Unlock Flowchart. Use Ctrl+F to search for specific trophies before proceeding any further in your playthrough and to minimize the chances of missing any missable trophies. With that in mind, the point of no return are the following Main Missions:
- Start of Mission 7
- Start of Mission 13
- Start of Mission 15
When you get to the part where you need to make a decision between going to save Allison or the Bank. Make a save beforehand because you can only pick one of these two choices. With you save you can pick "Allison" first to unlock the God Killer trophy, then reload your save to choose "Bank". That way you can reach the Bank's vault and take an antidote from a locked safe, which will be used near the end of the game for the He's [Not] Dead Yet, Jim trophy.
It's best to spend your Praxis Kits on only Stealth related Augmentations and not lethal Augs. Put your points into the following Augmentation Trees:
- Social Enhancer
- Hacking Capture (Lv. 5 recommended)
- Hacking Stealth (higher successful hacking odds)
- Wayfinder Radar System (optional, not needed if following video walkthroughs)
- Sarif Series 8 Energy Converter
- Implanted Rebreather
- Cybernetic Arm Prosthesis (lift heavy objects and punch through wall upgrades)
- Remote Hacking
- Icarus Landing
- Icarus Dash (used for reaching places or getting into cover)
- Glass-Shield Cloaking
- Cybernetic Leg Prosthesis (used for jumping and reaching higher ledges)
Last of all, you'll be collecting a lot of consumable items. Your health items are very useless since you're playing stealthy, but the Biocell consumable isn't. This item will replenish your energy meter making stealth even easier. Try to save these for a possible New Game+ cleanup playthrough or whenever you're in desperate need to refill your energy meter to maintain your Cloaking abilities.
If you've followed the Flowchart and this step correctly, you'll unlock the following trophies:
A Heated Combination
Adept of the Metaverse
Singh No Swan Song
Ghost

Step 1.5 (OPTIONAL): New Game+ Cleanup any missable, combat and miscellaneous trophies
This step may or may not be needed for some people as it's also possible to do cleanup during your “I Never Asked For This” difficulty playthrough. The New Game+ Mode is only available to you after completing Mankind Divided's Story Mode at least once. This means you won't be able to use New Game+ for the “I Never Asked For This” difficulty. Due to this reasoning, if you're missing any trophies from your first playthrough you can use this opportunity to obtain them.
In New Game+, the game will take you back to the start of the first story mission 01: Black Market Buy, but the difference is that you'll have all Adam's Augmentations, weapons, items, Credits, Crafts, and Praxis Kits with him that carried over from your previous playthrough. This means it'll be possible to get every Augmentation and upgrade in the game to max out Adam completely. This should give you a chance to unlock the The Jack of All Augments if you haven't done so from your previous playthrough. Other things you can do is obtaining all Augmentation combat related trophies, any missed Side Mission trophies and fully upgrade any weapon of your choice.
Things that will not transfer to your New Game+ are as follows:
- eBooks
- Adam Jensen's Apartment Wall Storage Items
- Story Items
- Triangle Codes
- Pocket Secretary
- Emails
- Breach Software
Step 2: Complete the game on “I Never Asked For This” difficulty (Perma-death Mode) while focusing on Pacifist and Foxiest of the Hounds
One life, one save slot is all you have in this mode. You can save and overwrite as many times as you want, but if you die that save is deleted and lost forever. You can backup the save to your USB drive or Cloud Save. You can also press the whenever you're about to die or get killed, then close the game application so you can restart it. This will also stop your save from being deleted. The quickest route around this is once again playing with stealth and avoiding unnecessary objectives and side missions.
Once you gain control in Prague, it would be in your best interests to do a little bit of exploration and gather loot and Praxis Kits scattered in the game world. Upgrade your battery capacity, battery regeneration and cloaking. Stock up on Biocells from the start so you’ll be able to speedrun through the game while in cloak for most of the time. Only do the side missions that are quick and award easy XP without unnecessary conflict (for instance SM03: Mystery Augs, SM04: Honor in the Family, SM07: Fade to Black) as they’ll boost your XP significantly and reward Praxis Kits.
At the end of this step, you'll unlock the following trophy:
I Never Asked For This
Step 3: Complete Breach Mode up to Tier 3 Network
Breach mode is a series of mini levels (server nodes) with various different objectives and conditions to win. An online connection is required and your progress is saved on the game servers. Including the tutorial, there are a total of 5 maps of levels to be completed - Tier 00, Tier 01A & Tier 01B for Data Disciple , Tier 02 for Data Expert , Tier 03 for Data Master . You only need to complete the main objectives of each server node to progress, and at least one Darknet file for Data Detective trophy.
Your avatar in this mode has upgrades to Adam Jensen in the main game and a little more, and you should focus your Praxis Points on stealth, mainly cloaking, battery capacity, jumping and the ability to hack doors/turrets/drones/robots. Pick your upgrades wisely as XP doesn’t come easily in this mode.

At the end of this step you'll have the following trophies:
Data Disciple
Data Detective
Data Expert
Data Master

System Rift DLC:
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 (personal estimate)
- Offline trophies: 8 (4, 4)
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2-3 Hours (personal estimate)
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
- Number of missable trophies: 6
- Glitched trophies: None
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
- Do trophies stack?: No
- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No
Introduction:
System Rift is the 1st of 2 DLCs that are part of Deus Ex Mankind Divided's season pass. It is set in a new part of Prague and the entire DLC is played in and around the Palisade Blade, the large L-shaped building mentioned briefly and in several places in the main Mankind Divided game. The DLC centres around your old friend Frank Pritchard needing your help to get into the Palisade Blade, and also features an old friend of yours from the main game, Shadowchild.
Walkthrough:
This DLC's trophies can all be gotten in 1 playthrough, and most of them can be gotten by playing blind, if not all of them. There's some trophies that could be potentially missed, but even so can be quickly obtained in a 2nd clean-up speed-run if needed.
Step 1: Get the early parts right to set up a single playthrough trophy sweep.
This DLC can be done in 2-3 hours so there's nothing really fancy going on. Most importantly is at the start of the DLC to make sure you don't skip any dialogue, and to make sure you have the augmentation Implanted Rebreather which will be handy for the Murder He Wrote trophy. Otherwise the other augmentations that I would recommend are Cybernetic Leg Prosthesis, and the 2 Arm Prostesis augs to carry heavy objects and break weak walls, and if you have the DLC, the Micro-Assembler. Having the Micro-Assembler will allow you to forge multi-tools, allowing you to hack without investing points into hacking. Otherwise you might want to put in a few points into hacking, and even if not, to make life a lot easier, have Turret and Drone hacking augmentations.
You also want to play stealthily and kill no one. This time, tripping alarms won't be an issue as that doesn't affect any trophy. Once you complete the DLC and the end-game cutscene plays, you should have gotten at least the following trophies:
- Exposed the Truth!
- Extract The Data...
Step 2: Clean up any trophies you missed (if necessary).
If you happen to miss out on any of the optional trophies, either reload or start a new game, or pay attention to the info in the trophy guide. Otherwise you should have gotten all 8 trophies in a single playthrough. If not, you'll definitely get them in your clean-up run:
- Go Figure
- Help Desk
- Clean Sweep
- Knock Knock
- Murder He Wrote
- Too Hot to Handle

Breach Tier 4 DLC:
Roadmap
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10 (Personal Estimate)
- Offline trophies: 0
- Online trophies: 5 (5)
- Approximate amount of time to 100%: 5-10+ Hours (luck dependant)
- Minimum number of playthroughs: Potentially dozens of challenge completions to farm credits.
- Number of missable trophies: 0
- Glitched trophies: 0
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No difficulty setting
- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheat codes
Introduction
Eidos Montreal has released a free update that includes 5 new trophies for everyone's favourite game mode from Deus Ex: Mankind Divided. Breach Mode returns with Tier 4, a brand new network which includes 9 new servers for you to complete and also several new servers throughout previous tiers.
This is a considerable step in difficulty from Tier 3 and even if you breezed through that, you may well be put through your paces here. Before starting I would recommend having a fully upgraded Cloak efficiency, Energy capacity and Remote Hacking turret/drones if possible, this will make things a lot easier. High jump and triple jump will also help a lot but are not essential.
Step 1 - Complete 5 Servers in Tier 4
There are 9 new servers available in Tier 4. As previously mentioned, Tier 4 is considerably more difficult than Tier 3. Thankfully you only need to complete 5 of them.
By the end of this step you will unlock:
Data Emperor
Step 2 - Complete 10 Santeau Servers, Santeau Darknet File, and 3 Data Sphere Servers
As part of this step you will need to complete a new Darknet file which unfortunately cannot be completed until you have completed all other Darknet files from the main game. You will also need to complete 3 of the new data transfer servers which involve carrying a sphere to a destination point.
The majority of the 10 Santeau Servers will naturally be completed as part of this step and the rest can be found within previous Tiers detailed in the trophy description.
By the end of the step you will unlock:
Hourglass
Ashes to Ashes
The 40-Yard Digital Dash
Step 3 - Grind for credits to obtain 6 Expansion items, then complete any Server
In this final step you will either be grinding challenges for a short or long time, depending on luck, and basically involves buying booster packs until you are lucky enough to get 6 of the new, rare expansion items.
By the end of this step you will unlock:
Excess Baggage Fees

BREACH Picus DLC:
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 (personal opinion)
- Offline trophies: 0
- Online trophies: 8 (8)
- Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2 Hours (personal opinion)
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 1+
- Number of missable trophies: 0
- Glitched trophies: None
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
- Do trophies stack?: No
- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No
Introduction:
Breach Picus is a free DLC adding additional servers to Deus Ex Mankind Divided's Breach mode. The DLC adds 8 additional servers and 8 new bronze trophies, which can be easily gotten. As servers go they're very easy to beat, and several trophies don't even involve the new Picus servers.
NOTE: If you have already used up all your Praxis Kits then you will need to farm 3 Praxis Kits but only if you haven't yet unlocked the Titan and Alarm Cancel augmentations, otherwise you're good to go. You will also need at least 1 Firewall key for one Ghost Network.
Walkthrough:
To start tackling the trophies, first begin with the new Picus Darknet file. If you've not yet done the previous Darknet files you'll have to get them done before you can attempt the Picus Darknet file. As the Picus servers are quite easy, you will get this done quickly. After which it's a quick and easy clean-up for the remaining trophies.
Step 1: Complete the Picus Darknet file.
The Picus Darknet file comprises 4 Darknet servers, and of course several conversations with fellow Rippers and a new antagonist. In any case, you should be able to get the Darknet server done in an hour or less. At the end of this step you will have earned:
- Camera, Action, Red-Handed
Step 2: Ghost Network & Clean up
For this final step, you simply need to do 1 more Picus server and 5 Ghost Network nodes but uou will need 1 Firewall key to unlock a Ghost Network. If you have a friend or dummy account then now is a good time to send and complete 3 challenges, as well as cleaning up the remaining miscellaneous trophies of which two will require 3 spare Praxis Kits total to unlock the augments. If you have left some Praxis Kits and Firewall keys spare since before this DLC released, then you will easily get your 100% at this final step:
- A Heist of Olympic Proportions
- Bad Sector
- Fire Sale
- Burning Neodymium
- Not The Rippers You Are Looking For
- Now I'm Feeling A Little Motivated
- You're Not Worthy As My Opponent

A Criminal Past DLC:
Overview:
- Estimated trophy difficulty: 4/10 (personal estimate)
- Offline trophies: 10 (7, 3)
- Online trophies: 0
- Approximate amount of time to Platinum: 4-5 Hours (personal estimate)
- Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 (recommend 1+)
- Number of missable trophies: 9
- Glitched trophies: None
- Does difficulty affect trophies?: No, so play on easy.
- Do trophies stack?: No
- Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No
Introduction:
A Criminal Past is the second DLC from Deus Ex Mankind Divided's season pass. It is set in a special Augs-only prison, back when Jensen first joined TF29. The entire DLC is played in and around this prison, with you as Jensen going undercover as an inmate.
This DLC's trophies can all be gotten in 1 playthrough. However, it's highly recommend that you do more than 1 playthrough, as attempting several of the trophies while also going for Winners Don't Use Drugs (or Biocells) (aka no-augs playthrough) will prove challenging. Completing the DLC with no augs will by itself prove to be a challenge. Thankfully, there's no trophy for no alarms triggered. 9 of the 10 trophies are missable so some care is required, but even so some of them can be obtained in a 2nd speed-run (a 2nd playthrough is recommended). As the DLC's difficulty is higher than A System Rift and even the main game, you will spend a few hours beating the DLC , and as some trophies are obtained near the end of the DLC, it's best you tackle those during the 1st playthrough, to avoid wasting time.
Walkthrough:
Step 1: Do a no-augs run with no kills, and get Mejia's confession.
This DLC has many enemies, defenses and traps, making a playthrough with no augs quite challenging, but doable. Bear in mind since there's no no-alarm trophy, you are safe to trigger alarms if you wish. The only trophy that requires you not to trigger any alarm is Smooth Like Soap, but for this roadmap, that trophy is saved for the 2nd speed-run playthrough.
As this playthrough is also a no-kills run, the only weapons you need are the stun gun and the tranquiliser rifle. You can safely use lethal weapons on robots, turrets and cameras as they won't void Code of Conduct. Take care not to let unconscious enemies get killed (which is possible if they fall a certain height) or get hit by projectiles or explosives while down.
Also, make sure you pick up the 2 Pocket Secretaries needed to get Mejia's confession.
Near the end, just after you reach the Landing Pad, make sure you side Mejia. Once you stun Mejia, speak to the Fixer and board the plane, you'll get to enjoy the end-game cutscene and the following trophies:
- A Criminal Past
- Code of Conduct
- Winners Don't Use Drugs (or Biocells)
- Don't Reach, Kid
- Quid Pro Quo
- Objection!
- Dressed for the Occasion
- A Just Cause
- Umlauts or no Umlauts
Step 2: Speed-run Smooth Like Soap
For this final step, your single purpose is to get Smooth Like Soap. If you missed some trophies earlier, now's your chance to do them. Once you reach Cell Block B's Laundry Room and find Mejia, you should get Smooth Like Soap and the 100%:
- Smooth Like Soap
Technically speaking it's entirely possible to get every trophy in a single run, if you can manage a full stealth run up until you reach Mejia for Smooth Like Soap. I'll leave it up to readers to decide if they want to do that. I just found it a lot quicker to leave Smooth Like Soap to a 2nd playthrough.
