Introduction
(NOTE: This guide was written from the perspective of the Japanese PlayStation 3 release, but was updated to also focus on the American and European releases)

Developed by French Bread and Ecole, the same developers that brought us Under Night in-Birth EXE Late, Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax is a crossover title between Sega and ASCII Media Works made to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Dengeki Bunko imprint.

The game features a variety of different modes to play in, such as network mode, score attack, survival, and the brand new Dream Duel mode exclusive to the console versions. The game's playable characters come from various Dengeki Bunko-published light novels, such as Shakugan no Shana, Sword Art Online, Oreimo, Strike the Blood, etc., while stages come from various SEGA games, such as Sonic the Hedgehog, Valkyria Chronicles, and Phantasy Star Online 2.

Trophy-wise, this game is somewhat easier than most fighting games you are already familiar with. However, one trophy you will need to put a lot of time on is the trophy for dealing 10,000,000 points of cumulative damage to the opponent. Thankfully, the game has cross-region play for player matches despite having four separate trophy lists.

Button Configuration:
For those who play fighting games with a standard PlayStation 3 controller, the PlayStation Vita, or any other fightpad, here are the default settings for the controls in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax; which you can change from the game's options (found under "Options" -> "Control") in the main menu or while pausing in-game (found as "Control").

NOTE: The controls used in this guide are based on the default button scheme, as well as my recommended choices for the unmapped inputs, so whenever you change your controls, be sure to apply whichever ones you have changed when you are using this guide.

A (Weak Attack):
B (Medium Attack):
C (Strong Attack):
S (Support):
A+C (Trump Card): (PS3)/ (Vita)
A+B+C (Blast): (PS3)/ (Vita)

Unmapped Inputs:
There are two additional unmapped inputs that you can make use of by mapping them to either , , , or (with a PS3 controller). These will help make doing stuff like Impact Attacks and using Climax Arts easier as you can just press one button to do those button notations:

A+B (Impact Skill): Usually + ; in the case of this guide
B+C (Easy shortcut for executing Climax Arts): Usually + ; in the case of this guide

Walkthrough

Like other fighting games before it, each step in Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax can be done in any order the player wishes to go for first. You'll also go through some hard trophies along the way, such as the three from the game's challenge modes. The first trophy you will unlock upon starting up the game for the first time is STARTING CLIMAX (Our Story Begins...)

Arcade Mode
In this mode, you will be able to play through each character's story as they appeared in the Arcade version of the game that consists of nine stages, and the ability to fight either one of two boss characters: Akira Yuki and Selvaria Bles (both of whom can be played in all modes but Arcade and Dream Duel). There are fourteen trophies that players can obtain in this mode, all of which consist of the following by the time they complete this step:

Network Mode
There is only one trophy players can get from this mode, and that's by simply playing one match for the first time. In addition, Network Mode can also be used to help you get any long term/misc. trophies you may be missing whenever you are cleaning up any trophies you have remaining.

Net Battle Debut

Challenge Modes
There are a total of three challenge modes that are featured in this game: Score Attack, Time Attack, and Survival. All three of these modes contain ridiculous tasks for their trophies, ranging from scoring a specified amount of points in Score Attack, to completing Time Attack in a specified amount of time. Thankfully, with the tips provided in this guide, you can easily get these trophies without any trial and error.

High Scorer
Time Attacker
Survivor

Training Mode
Like the Arc System Works-developed fighting games, there is one trophy players can get from training mode, and that trophy is for how much time you have spent in the game's training mode.

Training X 3600 Seconds

Customization
In the Customization menu (found in the main menu as "Customize"), there are five options for you to customize your profile for network play. These options are as follows:

  • Icons
  • Plates
  • Title
  • Character Colors
  • Autograph

There are a total of three trophies you can unlock from this part of the game, all of which relate to three of the above options (in this case; character colors, plates, and icons), and are really easy to obtain depending on how many CP points you have accumulated while playing the game.

Misc. Trophies
Once you have completed all other trophies from each of the above game modes, you will now enter the cleanup phase to unlock any trophies you might be missing for your platinum. • ドリームデュエル「蓮太郎」をクリア。 「厳しい戦いだったけど、楽しかったよ。また夢で会おうぜ!」

    [Rentaro's Dream Duel Clear]
    [Completed Dream Duel using Rentaro]

Dream Duel is a new mode introduced in the console versions of Dengeki Bunko Fighting Climax where each character will take on six brand new scenarios where they interact and fight against a specific set of characters. The characters each one will face is different for each character. For example, we're going to take a look at Miyuki's Dream Duel lineup.

As you can see here, Miyuki has six opponents to fight against, all of whom are listed in the "Miyuki's Dream Duel Clear" trophy's description. With Rentaro Satomi, you will need to fight against the following six opponents:

    1. Taiga Aisaka
    2. Tomoka Minato
    3. Kuroyukihime
    4. Mikoto Misaka
    5. Kirino Kousaka
    6. Asuna

Select a character you will feel comfortable fighting against and you'll first be greeted by a short cutscene that has the character you're playing as interacting with their opponent (opponents that are already defeated will have a "CLEAR" next to their portrait).

Top: Asuna's Dream Duel roster with all six opponents defeated.
Bottom: Tomoka's Dream Duel roster with all six opponents defeated.

Repeat this process against the remaining five opponents in the character's dream duel story you're playing on until you unlock the respective character's trophy.

  • スコアアタックで300,000,000pts以上を獲得した。

    [High Scorer]
[Scored at least 300,000,000 points in Score Attack Mode.]

Score Attack is the first of three challenge modes featured in the game where you fight through a series of opponents in an attempt to set a new high score in the game's online leaderboards, making it similar to the Score Attack mode found in games like BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger and Persona 4 Arena (however, this game's score attack is easier to complete than those two).

In the case of this trophy, you will need to complete Score Attack with a score of at least 300,000,000 or higher. The amount of points you will obtain at the end of each match are measured by the following six attributes:

    1. Life
    2. Time
    3. Combo
    4. Perfect
    5. Finish
    6. Straight

I highly recommend using Yukina when going for this trophy, as you can perform this combo to help you get the 300,000,000 points you need for it at the start of each match until the opponent's HP hits their near death state:

    -> , , or to launch opponent -> -> -> -> ->

Keep in mind that the combination that comes after you launch the opponent must be done while you and the opponent are airborne, and when jump cancelling, be sure you do it as soon as you attack with the first time, then quickly jump and attack with , then again before using . Depending on how much meter you have by the time the opponent's health reaches its near death state (designated by a pink life bar), replace the last notation in the above combo with .

In addition, you may also want to use Holo as your assist for this mode as her / will allow her to heal the player if you want the full amount of points you get for having a perfect victory in each round of the match (4,000,000 points). Repeat this process until you've scored at least 300,000,000 points or higher to unlock your trophy at the end of the final stage.

  • タイムアタックを8分以内にクリアした。

    [Time Attacker]
[Completed Time Attack Mode in Under 8 Minutes.]

Time Attack is the second of three challenge modes featured in the game, where you will need to defeat a string of nine opponents as fast as you can to set a new best time for the online leaderboards (or your own).

In the case of this trophy, you will need to clear Time Attack mode in under eight minutes. My personal recommendation is to select the character you're most familiar with and a Support Character with an SP Attack or Attack skills that will allow the player to finish the opponent off quickly (In my case, I used Mikoto Misaka for this mode).

  • サバイバルモードを15人抜きした。

    [Survivor]
[Defeated 15 opponents in Survival Mode.]

Survival Mode is the last of three challenge modes featured in the game. If you are familiar with how it works in games like The King of Fighters XIII, then you will get a good idea of how it works. It is a mode where you will take on a series of opponents as you fight your way through by setting a high score in the leaderboards.

In the case of this trophy, you will need to defeat at least fifteen opponents, which can prove to be difficult depending on what playable and support character combo you are using. Like in Score Attack, I highly recommend using Holo as your support character since her / will heal your lost HP.

  • 初めてネット対戦を行った。

    [Netplay Debut]
[Played a Network Match for the first time]

For this trophy, you will need to complete a Netplay Match from start to finish. Whether you win or lose or if it's a Player or Ranked Match does not matter at all.

  • スペシャルイラストを全て獲得した。

    [Special Illustrations Complete]
    [Completed the Special Illustration Gallery]

Under the "Special" option in the main menu, you will find a section named "Character". Here you can look at information regarding the characters you've played, the support characters you've used, look at special illustrations, or listen to each character's voice clips as they appear in the game.

By default, the gallery sections for the twelve default characters cannot be accessed unless you complete their stories in the game's "Dream Duel" Mode for the first time, but you can access Akira and Selvaria's sections after unlocking them. Support Characters, on the other hand, will have their sections available after using any one of them for the first time in a match. On the playable characters side, let's take a look at Miyuki Shiba for example.

Top Image: Miyuki's gallery is not unlocked.
Bottom image: Miyuki's gallery is unlocked.

As you can see in the images above, Miyuki's gallery can only be unlocked after you complete both Arcade and Dream Duel with her. Once you have selected her, you will take a look at her gallery, which will consist of illustrations you can look at and voice clips that you can listen to; all of which cost 2,000 CP each, but for this trophy, we will need to purchase just three of the six illustrations that each character has (three can be accessed immediately, while the others need to be purchased).

In total, you will need at least 72,000 CP to unlock all illustrations for the game's twelve default characters. You can earn CP by playing matches in Arcade, Versus, or any of the three Challenge modes, but be warned, Dream Duel mode will not award you with any CP whatsoever.

  • アイコンを全て獲得した。

    [Icon Set Complete]
    [Completed the Icon Set]

There are a total of 167 icons you can use to customize your network profile, with one of them being available as soon as you start the game, meaning that you will need to purchase the remaining 166 icons.

All icons, regardless if they are those of playable characters, support characters, or items, cost 1,000 CP each, and for all 166 unlockable icons, you will need to have at least 166,000 CP in your hand to purchase them all and unlock your trophy.

  • プレートを全て獲得した。

    [Plate Set Complete]
    [Completed the Plate Set]
Like the icons you can purchase to customize your network profile, there are a total of fifty plates you can unlock, with one of them being available from the start. However, unlike Icons, the CP cost for plates vary depending on the following three types:

    • Normal Plates - 1000CP each
    • Main Character Plates - 6000 CP each
    • Support Character Plates - 5000 CP each

In total, it would cost about 211,000 CP (breaking this down, it would be 12,000 CP for normal plates, 84,000 CP for main character plates, and 115,000 CP for support character plates) to purchase all unlockable plates in the game and this trophy.

  • いずれかのキャラでカラーを全て獲得した。

    [Color Set Complete]
    [Completed a Character's Color Set]

In this game, each character has a total of fourteen colors; four of them are available for all characters (including unlockable characters Akira Yuki and Selvaria Bles after you unlock them) when you start up the game for the first time.

For this trophy, you will need to purchase the remaining ten colors for any one of the game's characters (whether they're playable or support do not matter at all), which cost 2,000 CP each, meaning that you will need at least 20,000 CP in order to purchase all ten unlockable colors.

Secret trophies

  • トレーニングモードを、累計1時間プレイした。

    [Training for 3,600 seconds]
[Spent a total of one hour in Training Mode.]

Like in Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN-, you will need to spend a total of one hour in the game's training mode.

However, unlike the former, this trophy is cumulative and you can stand idle without having to do some activity, meaning that you can just stand there for thirty minutes before going back and spend another thirty minutes practicing in the game's training mode, whether if you're going to be idle or practicing your character to unlock your trophy.

  • サポートキャラを累計100回呼んだ。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Support x100]
[Summoned a Support Character 100 times. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

A support character is a character that can assist the character in many different ways, such as dealing additional attacks and damage to their opponent (Attack/SP Attack), or protect the player with any means of protection, such as a shield that can cause damage to the opponent if they try to attack the player (I.E. Touma Kamijou), or pull the opponent toward the player during a combo (I.E. Innocent Charm).

They can be summoned by pressing either or / and come in three different methods of assistance: Attack, SP Attack, and Defence, depending on which one of the two inputs you have pressed. As the trophy description says, you will need to cumulatively summon them 100 times in order to unlock it.

  • 敵の攻撃を累計1000回ガードした。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Guard x1,000]
[Guarded yourself from your opponent's attacks 1,000 times. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

For this trophy, you will need to guard from an opponent's attacks 1,000 times. This trophy is accumulative between each match that you do. In addition, each reflection guard that you do will also count toward this trophy.

  • 投げ回避を累計50回成功した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Avoiding Throws x50]
[Prevented 50 Throws from happening. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

A throw is usually done by pressing / while you are near an opponent, but you can easily prevent them from happening by pressing the same input(s) after an opponent grabs you, but the timing for this is pretty strict. Doing so will have the player push the opponent back and create a short distance between them.

As the trophy description says, you will need to prevent 50 throws from your opponent in order to unlock it.

  • 切り札を累計300回使用した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Trump Card x300]
[Used your Trump Card 300 times. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

In this game, Trump Cards come in two varieties (Red and Blue) and can be done by pressing + (or ). Red trump cards serve as the offensive type; such as Mikoto Misaka kicking one of the Dengeki Bunko-themed vending machines or Taiga Aisaka kicking a trash can, while Blue trump cards can grant special properties; such as Kirito gaining a second sword, or changing the color of Kuroyukihime's Black Lotus.

As the trophy says, you will need to do at least three hundred of them in order to unlock it, but they cannot be done in Training Mode.

  • ブラストを累計100回使用した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Blast x100]
[Used Blast 100 times. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

A Blast works much like the bursts in Persona 4 Arena (In Ultimax, this was the case for "Normal Type" characters), Guilty Gear Xrd, and BlazBlue (prior to Chrono Phantasma). They come in three varieties that can be done while standing or airborne (Powerup Blast), ending and escaping an opponent's combo (Escape Blast), or during your own combo as a combo extender or finisher (Combo Blast).

They can be executed by pressing during any one of those three situations, but in order to use it again, you will need to wait a specific amount of time (like in Guilty Gear). In the case of this trophy, you will need to utilize blasts at least 100 times. All blasts done in any match(es) are cumulative.

  • EX必殺技を累計500回使用した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [EX Special Moves x500]
[Performed 500 EX Special Moves. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

EX Special Moves are powered up versions of each character's special moves much like those seen in Persona 4 Arena, Street Fighter IV, and The King of Fighters XIII. They are done by inputting the command of a specific move and pressing if you have at least one bar in your Climax Gauge.

Each EX Special Move in the game comes with different properties; such as faster startup and recovery times, hitstun to the opponent, extensions to a specific special move (I.E. Yukina's combines her standard // with her (airborne) //), etc. It is also worth noting that all special moves for each character have an EX version.

  • クライマックスアーツを100回使用した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Climax Arts x100]
[Performed 100 Climax Arts. (Training Mode Prohibited)]
Climax Arts are the game's super special moves that deal more damage than those of normal attacks and specials. They are done by inputting either or for all playable characters. For example, here are the Climax arts for Yukina Himeragi:

    • "Strike the Blood" -
    • "Sacred Howling" -

In the case of this trophy, you will need to do at least 100 Climax Arts. Whether they are the same ones or different and if they finish off the opponent or not do not matter. In addition, all Max Climax Arts you have performed will also accumulate to this trophy.

  • インパクトスキル(インパクトブレイクも可)を累計500回使用した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Impact Skill x500]
[Performed 500 Impact Skill (Impact Breaks also count) attacks. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

There are two types of Impact Attacks in the game: Impact Skills and Impact Breaks. Impact Skills come in many varieties, such as a rush down attack, counter, anti-air, etc., while an Impact Break works like a launcher that can be used as a starter for air combos.

To perform an Impact Skill, you will need to input either while standing or while crouching, while Impact Breaks can be done by tapping , followed by either , , or to launch the opponent in the air. As the trophy's description states, you will need to perform at least 500 of them in order to unlock it.

  • リフレクションガード500回成功させた。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Reflection Guard x500]
[Performed 500 Reflection Guards. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

Reflection Guards are a type of guard that create distance away from your opponent much like that of Advancing Guards from the Marvel vs. Capcom 3 games. They are done by pressing either any combination of , , or , with two of the buttons being pressed at the same time while guarding against your opponent's attack(s) and take up some meter from your Climax Gauge.

Additionally, any Reflection Guards you do will also accumulate to the "Guard X 1000" trophy. You can also make this process easier by having a second controller (or your boosting partner if playing on Vita) select Kuroneko as their support character in Versus Mode.

Once the second controller (or boosting partner) has selected Kuroneko, they will simply need to press S while standing for an easy and fast method of getting reflection guards done. If you are lucky, you will see Shironeko instead, which will give a better opportunity to grind reflection guards. Repeat this process as many times as possible until the trophy is unlocked.

  • 敵に累計1000万ダメージ与えた。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Damage x10,000,000]
[Dealt a total of 10,000,000 points of Damage. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

This is perhaps the most time consuming trophy in the game, as you will need to deal a total of 10,000,000 points of damage to the opponent in order to unlock it.

Thankfully, this trophy is accumulative, meaning that whatever amount of damage you have dealt to the opponent will carry over to any new round or match that you start. You can easily do this trophy in Versus Mode with a turbo controller as well, where you can bind the Impact Skill () shortcut button to and set the turbo button to it. In this special case, I recommend having Asuna as the character who uses her Impact Skill for both this, and the "Impact Skill x500" trophies.

In addition, you can also select Selvaria (once you have unlocked her) and use her suicide attack () as fast as you can to instantly kill your opponent and deal 10,000 damage each time this is used. This attack can only be done in the match point of any match once an opponent causes a hard knockdown on Selvaria, in addition, this attack will take up both of her trump cards (as this attack uses both), and if done correctly, she will glow blue and cause a fullscreen instant kill attack that will result in a victory from her and not the opponent.

  • クライマックスアーツを相手に当てるのを失敗した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Climax Art Failed…]
[Your Climax Art failed to attack the opponent. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

Just as the trophy says, your opponent must guard themselves from your Climax Art in order to unlock it. Self-explanatory.

For more information regarding Climax Arts, please refer to "Climax Arts X 100".

  • 体力差75%ビハインドから逆転勝利した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [A Large Comeback!]
[Made a huge comeback with a 75% health difference from the opponent. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

This trophy can easily be done in Versus, where you will simply need to have the second controller attack you repeatedly until your lifebar changes color to pink (which signifies that you have 75% of your health dealt from the second player.

Once you have done that, you will need to make a comeback by attacking the second player (can be a second controller, a CPU player, or boosting partner) with any of your attacks until you've KO'd them; after which the trophy will be unlocked.

  • 切り札を2つ使用したクライマックスアーツで勝利した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Max Climax Arts Finish!]
[Finished a round with a Max Climax Art. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

To perform a Super Charged Climax Art, you will need to perform any one of the two Climax Arts that a character has and press (which also consumes your Trump Cards) as fast as you can during their early start up frames. The timing for executing these is extremely strict, so make sure you press both buttons twice before it actually starts. If done successfully, your Climax Art will now deal more damage than usual.

As the description says, you will need to finish the round with a Super Charged Climax Art in order for this trophy to unlock. Additionally, all Super Charged Climax Arts will also count toward the "Climax Arts X 100" trophy.

  • 1P/2Pが双方同時にサポートを使用した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Everyone's Here!]
[Have both players summon a Support Character at the same time. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

Like the description says, you and your opponent need to summon each other's Support characters at the same time. You can also do this with a second controller in Versus by pressing either or / on both controllers, but be sure that you time them properly in the case of unlocking this particular trophy.

  • インパクトスキル(インパクトブレイクも可)同士が衝突した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Soul Clash!]
[Had two Impact Skills (Impact Breaks also apply) collide with each other. (Training Mode Prohibited)]
Just like the trophy description says, you will need to have two Impact Skills (You can also use Impact Breaks) collide with each other in any mode but Training.

If you're doing this in Versus Mode (or online if you're playing it on Vita), you will need to have the second controller distance themselves a bit from the player and tap on the first controller for their impact break and on the second controller for their impact skill at the same time depending on the spacing between them. If done successfully, a spark that signifies that the two Impact Skills/Breaks have collided will appear, as seen in the screenshot below:

An example of an Impact Skill and Impact Break successfully colliding with each other.

  • 通常技のみで勝利した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Normal Technical Victory]
[Won a round using only normal attacks. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

For this trophy, you will need to win a round in any match using only normal attacks done with , , or , or summoning support characters with ; which means that the use of Impact Skills/Breaks, Special Moves (Regular or EX), Trump Cards, and Climax Arts will not be tolerated during whichever round you want to unlock this trophy in. The use of Blasts will not affect this trophy either way.

  • 全ラウンドをパーフェクトで勝利した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Complete Victory!]
[Get a Straight Perfect Victory in all rounds of any match. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

For this trophy, you will need to obtain a straight Perfect victory (meaning that you need to get a perfect victory in all rounds of a single match). If you have the number of rounds set to 1, you'll only need to get a Perfect in that round; but if you have it at 2, then you will need to get it in both rounds.

  • サポートのクールタイムが終了したのと同時に呼び出した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [My Trusted Buddy!]
[Summoned a Support Character the moment it is available again. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

The timing for this trophy is strict, as you will need to summon your Support Character with at the precise moment it is available after it has cooled down for a certain amount of time.

For more information on Support Characters, see "Support X 100".

  • 10カウント以内に勝利した。 (タイムスピードNormalのみ。トレーニングモード不可)

    [A Fast Victory!]
[Finished the round within ten seconds after it starts. (Time Speed "Normal" only; Training Mode Prohibited)]

For this trophy, you will need to finish a round within ten seconds after it starts. It is a commonly difficult task to finish a round in such time due to the speed of this game's timer, but be warned that you cannot change the time speed setting in the game's options ("Versus Mode Time Speed" under "Options" -> "Game"), as doing so will not let you unlock it. It can easily be done with a second controller in versus mode (PS3), or when boosting it online (Vita).

In this case, I highly recommend going to the game's options in the main menu and set the number of rounds for Versus Mode Matches (found as "Versus Mode Number of Rounds" under "Options" -> "Game") to 2 to make things easier.

Once you have done that, select any playable (those with a red trump card only) and support character (doesn't matter which) on both controllers, whatever stage you select does not matter as well. Once the match starts, you will need to continuously attack your opponent (in this case, the second controller) with normal and regular special attacks until you have at least two points of meter for your Climax Gauge, followed by a Powerup Blast, which increases meter for a short duration of time.

By the time the second round starts, run up to your opponent and activate your trump card attack () twice; afterwards, you will need to do at least two Climax Arts (doesn't matter which) to freeze the timer during each one. If done successfully, the trophy will unlock within 7 to 8 seconds after the start of the second round.

  • 勝利時の残カウントがゾロ目になっていた。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [Repdigit Finish!]
[Finished a match with timer stopping at a number with two of the same digits. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

For this trophy, you will need to finish a round in any match with two of the same digits on the timer by the time you KO your opponent (examples include 11, 22, 33, etc.). If you have the number of rounds set to two or more, whatever round you have finished with any of those numbers does not matter. An example of a double digit number on the timer can be seen below:

  • 切り札を2つ クライマックスゲージを5本残して敗北した。 (トレーニングモード不可)

    [You've Suffered Death…]
[Lost to an opponent while having two unused Trump Card slots and a full Climax gauge. (Training Mode Prohibited)]

This trophy can easily be done with a second controller (PS3) or online (Vita), where you will simply need to fill up five bars of your climax gauge and make sure that you do NOT use either one or both of your Trump Cards. If done correctly, you should have the other player KO you for this trophy to unlock.

  • プレイヤーキャラクター「結城晶」が使用可能になった。

    [You're Ten Years Too Early!]
[Playable Character "Akira Yuki" is Now Available]

See "For His Highness…!" for more information.

  • プレイヤーキャラクター「セルベリア・ブレス」が使用可能になった。

    [For My Lord...!]
[Playable Character "Selvaria Bles" is Now Available]

In Arcade Mode (found as one of two options under "Story" in the main menu), you will have the option to face off against either one of two characters in Stage 9 (the final stage) if certain conditions are met:

Akira Yuki: Play through Arcade Mode with little to no Climax Art finishes.
Selvaria Bles: Play through Arcade Mode with most of your rounds ending in an Climax Art finish and with no continues.

In order to fight against Selvaria, you will need to have at least five or more Climax Art finishes and not get a continue in order to fight against her in the final stage of Arcade Mode. However, if you have less than five rounds cleared with a Climax Art, then you will fight against Akira instead. If you defeat them, not only will you unlock their trophies, but you will also unlock them as playable characters.

  • 「ノベル試し読み」を最後まで読んだ。

    [Novel Sample Complete]
[Read a Novel Sample from Start to Finish]

In the game's "Novel" section (found under "Special"), there are a total of nineteen light novel samples to read (as seen in the screenshot below), all of which are the first chapter in each of them. The conditions for this trophy vary depending on the version you are playing.

    Japanese version:

After you have selected the light novel sample that you want to read by pressing , feel free to press either or to breeze through the pages from start to finish until you reach the end of its first chapter, which is on the last page. I recommend selecting "?????????" (The Irregular at Magic High School) as that sample is only ten pages long and completing the last page of it will unlock this trophy.

    American/European versions:

You will simply need to view at least the cover image of any of the nineteen novels for this trophy to unlock.
