Introduction:

Welcome to Deathloop, a visionary FPS game made by Arkane Studios and published by Bethesda, that will take you into a strange and confusing plot. You are Colt Vahn, a man that woke up on the beach of a strange island and will find that he is trapped inside it: The entire island is inside a Loop and Colt is forced to live the same day over and over and over again. The main quest is to break the Loop but it is not so easy. The Loop and the entire island are part of a big experiment called AEON and there are tons of enemies ready to stop Colt and kill him every day.

The game is not easy to understand during the first hours and you will find yourself confused, without any clue about how to navigate into this Loop. I will try to explain the basic principles, in order to make the game understable:
  • SECTORS: Blackreef island is divided into 4 sectors, that you will be free to explore using subterranean tunnels. Each sector is full of enemies and clues. You will find yourself exploring each sector many many times, so there is no need to explore them completely the first time you get there and also, every time you go, try to find new ways and new roads. Each time you move inside the tunnel, there will be a "district selection screen", where you can select the next district. In this screen, you will have access to all missions and information, so you can decide what mission you want to follow and which sector you need to go to next.
  • THE LOOP: You are inside a Loop, this means everything will repeat during the day. The day is divided into 4 periods (Morning, Noon, Afternoon, Evening) and the time will move each time you move from one district to another. In each sector, things will be different between periods and sometimes if you change something during one period there will be different situations on the next one. Once you survive and complete all 4 periods, the Loop will restart and you will go back to the beach, losing all the equipment. Also, the Loop will restart if you die, forcing you to start all over. However, you WILL NOT LOSE THE PROGRESS REGARDING THE MISSIONS! All the key information, clues and password will be saved and ready to be used on the next loop. 
  • INFUSION: The first hours of the game, are basically a big tutorial, so don't worry if you find yourself confused. You will reach a point of the game where you will be able to do an important thing: INFUSION. Once you unlock the infusion, you will be able to maintain the weapons and the upgrades. You can use the infusion each time you move from one sector to another and at the end of the day if you manage to survive,
  • HOW TO PLAY: The best way to approach this game is stealth! Don't rush the districts and don't kill enemies making too much noise. Eternalists can easily surround and kill you in no time and also, if they make the alarms start, you will also lose useful clues or access to some places. Try to start each day with the Nail Shooter, as this is the quietest weapon of the game. Aim for the heads and be precise.
The platinum is not an easy one but not in a bad way. There are some miscellaneous trophies that require some tries and a good knowledge of the game mechanics. Luckily, the game is not boring and you can mix-up things in order to avoid frustration and boredom. 

Note on Online
Deathloop has an online features that permits you to invade other people's worlds. If you play as Colt (the "story" part), sometimes you can be invaded by Julianna. She can be either a bot or a real player, depending if you are playing with multiplayer open or closed. Once you are invaded, you can't leave the area until you hack some antennas.
 
I suggest to play the game with the option "friends only" or "offline", as this will avoid the appearing of Julianna in situations where you don't need an extra killer. To change multiplayer option, just go in the upper left part of the screen during pause or during district selection screen and select the option you prefer.


Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play the game
The game doesn't have any missable trophies, so the first step will be to play the game, enjoy it and get some miscellaneous trophies out of the way. There are 11 main missions to follow and many secondary missions that can help you get shortcuts or powerful weapons and power-ups. When you find yourself on the district selection screen, take a look on all 4 districts and you will see the missions related to each sector at that period of the day. Also, since some missions can be done in different periods of the day, have also a look on all the missions available and choose the one you want to progress.

Step 2: Multiplayer
Once you completed the story, it's time to move on to the only 2 multiplayer trophies. They're easy and quick and they can be boosted but there's no need to do so.

Step 3: Clean-up miscellaneous trophies
During this step, just check the trophies you need and try to get them. If you explored and experimented well, chances are that you already got some of these trophies. See each trophy's description to find good strategies for the trophies you need.

Note: There is a nice trick to use in order to avoid to go through a full loop if you miss some trophy requirements. If you were not able to fulfill a requirement for a specific trophy or mission, push Option and select "Go back to main menu" Once you restart the game, you will find yourself in the same district at the same time period.

Introduction

Golden Loop is the first free DLC of Deathloop. This DLC adds some new enemies, a new slab and some nice weapons to try. Getting 100% is very easy and fast, as you can do it while playing the main game.


Walkthrough

Step 1: Get the trophies during the main game or during clean-up
Chances are that you will get all the trophies during your journey to break the Loop. If it isn't the case, just check which trophies you miss and get them during the clean-up for the platinum. The only "hard" part, is to get the Fugue Slab, as the garbage collector can be quite tough to kill.

  • Collect all other trophies.

    Break the Loop! and get the other trophies while you can. 
  • Take out an invading Julianna while playing as Colt.

    Story related, can't be missed

    During the exploration of the island, sometimes you could be invaded by Julianna. As soon as you get the message of the invasion, the tunnels are locked and you need to hack an antenna in order to open them. Antennas are always in the same spot for each location.

    Together with the antennas, Julianna will show up and hunt for you! She will be equipped with some of the strongest weapons of the game together with the slabs of the other Visionaries. She is strong, but can be easily killed if you find her and shoot her with good weapons. Once you kill her, you will get this trophy.

    As written in the introduction, Julianna could be either a bot or a real player. It's easier to kill her if she is a bot, so i suggest to play "Offline", in order to avoid any strong player invading your game.
  • While playing as Julianna, cross Colt off your kill list.

    This is one of the two multiplayer trophies. 

    Select "Protect the loop" and start the online with Julianna. The online is very similar to other multiplayer games. You will start at Level 1 with minimum equipment. Your main purpose is to invade other worlds and kill Colt, gaining achievements during the process. For each kill or achievement gained, you will get some XP that will grant you new weapons, slabs or power-ups.

    For this trophy, you don't need to do anything else except killing Colt. The only problem is that you need to kill Colt 3 times because of his Slab, while you have to survive, as one death is forever. Getting this trophy is not hard but may need some tries. Just play as Julianna and hope to invade some rookie world, in order to have an easy time with Colt. Try to stay near a healing station, as you can heal yourself in the process.

    This trophy can be boosted but I don't reccomend it unless you already have a boosting partner.
  • Survive all 4 time periods in one day.

    To get this trophy, you need to restart the loop by ending the day without dying. You can be killed once or twice during a period, the important thing is to not restart the Loop BEFORE the day ends.

    Also, you can't skip the periods, you need to move between districts.
  • Absorb Residuum from a body - like some kind of temporal sponge.

    After the second mission "Ubiquity", you will get the ability to absorb Residuum from Visionary corpses, resources scattered around the island or your own body, by pressing square.png near to it.

    Simply kill a Visionary, an invading Julianna or absorb your Residuum when you die to get this trophy.
  • While playing as Colt, kill Frank. Or Charlie. Or Fia. Or Wenjie. Or Aleksis. Or Harriet. Egor will do as well.

    Story related, can't be missed

    Kill one Visionary to get this trophy. This will not work with Julianna.

    Visionaries are not hard to kill but they need some strategy. You can see where Visionaries are located in the district selection screen. Select the district with the visionary you want to kill and explore the area, find the weakness of the Visionary and kill him/her as soon as you have the opportunity.
  • Kill each Visionary at least once.

    Story related, can't be missed

    To get this trophy, you must kill each Visionary once. As this is something you need to do in order to end the game, this could be considered as story related. Julianna doesn't count for this.

     
  • Infuse a Slab.

    Story related, can't be missed

    To get this trophy, just infuse your first Slab. There are no missions that will ask you to do it but since you need the slabs to go further, this could be considered as a story related trophy.

    Slabs are quite expensive to be infused but when you kill the Visionaries, you will get a very high amount of residuum.
  • While playing as Colt, own all upgrades for a Slab.

    Each Slab can be upgraded 4 times. Each upgrade will grant you different abilities that can be used with that Slab.

    To upgrade the Slab, you need to kill (again) the Visionary that carries the Slab you want to upgrade. Each time you kill the visionary, you will get a different upgrade. Like the Slab, the upgrades must also be infused, so don't forget to do it. Get 4 of them for a single Slab and the trophy is yours.

    Note: There is a little trick that can make this trophy easier. Whenever you will be invaded by Julianna, if you manage to kill her, she will leave a Slab. With a bit of luck, you can get some upgrades without killing the same Visionary many times.
  • As Colt, inflict a truckload of damage to Eternalists during a single use of Havoc.

    This trophy is a little tricky but doable. The best location for this, is in Updaam during Noon, near Otto's Workshop.
    Start with this loadout:
    • Slab: Havoc with Withdrawal and Euphoria power-ups
    • Weapon: Purple Strelak 50-50 with Big Box and a trinket that will grant you high damage
    • Personal Trinkets: I suggest the one that grants you extra power and the one that will drain your life once the power ends. 
    Now, go to Otto's Workshop and you will see many Eternalist around it. Use havoc and start to kill all of them quickly, trying to not waste many bullets. If done correctly, you will unlock this trophy.
  • As Colt, transport an enemy onto a mine using Shift.

    This one is easy but the description is a bit misleading. You need to transport an enemy on YOUR mine and not the ones scattered around the districts.

    Once you have the Swapper upgrade for Shift, simply select the grenade near an enemy and hold dpad_left.png to open the menu and select the "Proximity Bomb". Now, put the bomb on the ground, go on it and use Swapper on the nearest enemy (select the enemy with l1.png and press l2.png to switch position).
  • As Colt, transmit damage over more than 20 meters using Nexus.

    Another trophy with a misguiding description. To get this trophy, you need Nexus with Influence and Protraction upgrades. 

    A good spot to do this, is in Updaam at Noon. Go to Otto's workshop and reach the roof in front of it. From there, you can see an high number of eternalists. Use Nexus on the leftmost one and be sure he will be connected with the rightmost one. Once all of them are connected, shot an eternalist to get this trophy.
  • As Colt, achieve 3 airborne headshots on enemies you've launched using Karnesis.

    To get this trophy, you need the upgraded Suspension. Once you get it, just go to a district and use Karnesis on three different enemies, trying to shot them in the head once they're in the air.

    Note that you must do this in the same district.
  • While using Aether as Colt, kill 3 enemies without alerting nearby enemies.

    This is another easy one. Just use Aether with Ghost upgrade and kill 3 enemies without alerting others. Find a good spot and use a silenced weapon or the machete.
  • As Julianna, disguise yourself as Colt using Masquerade.

    This is the second multiplayer trophy and is easier than the other one. You are able to use Masquerade at level 1 and you need to use the power on Colt. 

    Simply wait for Colt to show-up and use the slab on him.
  • Take 36 different Trinkets into the field with you while playing as Colt.

    Another easy trophy with a misleading description: You don't need to have 36 trinkets equipped, you just need 36 INFUSED trinkets.

    Just infuse any trinkets you find and you will get this trophy in no time.
  • Infuse one of each type of weapon.

    To get this trophy, you need to infuse any type of weapon. The rarity doesn't matter. There are 12 total weapons, 8 standards and 4 unique.

    Standard weapons: they can be found almost anywhere in the districts or used by Eternalists or Visionaries.
    • Tribunal
    • PT-6 Spiker
    • The Fourpounder
    • Limp-10
    • Vopat Trencher
    • Strelak 50-50
    • MG-1 Pepper Mill
    • Rapiér
    Unique weapons (yellow weapons): rare type of weapons that can be obtained from Arsenal Leads missions.
    • Constancy Automatic: Dropped by Frank Spicer when you kill him in his mansion
    • Strelak Verso: Complete "In this Together" mission 
    • The Heritage Gun: Complete "Super Shifty" mission (see A Charlie Montague Game trophy_bronze.png)
    • Sepulchra Breteira: it may be dropped by Julianna or by completing "Keep on giving" mission
  • Die every which way as Colt: Drown. Fall. Choke on poison gas. Succumb to fatal depressurization. Get blown up. Shot. Stabbed. Ground up. Fried by a rocket. Oh, and obliterated by a reactor. Fun, right?

    This trophy looks easy but it needs some explaination, as there are some deaths that need some preparations.
    • Drown: drop into high water to die instantly.
    • Fall: double jump from a high spot.
    • Choke on Poison Gas: find a Poison gas pool and jump inside it until you die.
    • Succumb to Fatal Depressurization: In The Complex, during afternoon, go to Wenjie's lab and go into the big circular room. Now, allow a camera to spot you. It'll start a depressurization sequence which will kill you. 
    • Get Blown Up: jump on a mine, a tripwire or die by a grenade
    • Shot: let enemies shoot you.
    • Stabbed: let any enemy with a machete stab you.
    • Ground Up: die in the meat grinder of Aleksis. go to Updaam during Evening. Press the button behind the sign and hop into the pit.
    • Fried by a Rocket: This one is more tricky. Go to Updaam at Noon and reach Condition Detachment. On the second floor there are 2 Eternalists who are talking about the rocket. Listen to them until a notification will advise you that 2-Bit can activate the Rocket engine and then reach 2-Bit. Choose to activate the rocket but He'll tell you that it needs more batteries to work. On the same floor is the body of a rocket which you can enter. Inside, there are 5 battery sockets with 2 already having batteries. Look for the other 3 and put them in, then return to 2-Bit. Choose to activate the rocket and then quickly run to the top floor. Stand close to the rocket so that you die from the ignition.
    • Obliterated by a Reactor: Alert enemies inside Fia's bunker and she'll trigger a reactor meltdown. Simply hide and wait until it explodes.
  • Equip a loadout worth more than 45100 Residuum.

    To get this trophy, you must equip Slabs, weapons and power-ups that will grant you 45100 Residuum. 

    There are 4 kinds of weapons and power-ups, indicating the rarity and the effectiveness: Grey, Blue, Purple, Yellow, where grey is the common one and Yellow the rarest. Depending on the color, each power-up will have a high cost to be infused and will give you high residuum when sacrificed. Try to have a complete loadout with only purple and yellow items, including fully upgraded Slabs.
  • Kill a Visionary using a full loadout, without any empty slots or sockets, and escape the map.

    To get this trophy, simply equip everything you can. You need:
    • Three weapons with three trinket slots (DON'T USE weapons without slots or less than 3)
    • Two slabs with both upgrades
    • all 4 personal trinkets
    Now, select the district you prefer and kill the Visionary within it. 
  • Complete one AEON dossier.

    To get this trophy, during the mission "Radio Silence", once you go to the Archivist's Office in Updaam during the Afternoon, just find and take a file on Julianna in the bathroom. 
  • Enter a map with an empty loadout and kill all Visionaries present. Leave the map. Wash your hands.

    If you're looking for and easy and quick way to get the platinum, you can stack this trophy alongside with Mightier Than The Gun trophy_bronze.png, Silent Disco trophy_bronze.png and Only The Guilty trophy_bronze.png.  

    Reach The Complex during Evening and remove all the slabs, weapons and personal trinkets you have so you will be playing only with the knife. Your goal is to reach Egor and kill him without being spotted.

    As soon as you start the game, take the left exit and reach the two turrets. Hack them without being spotted and remove the batteries, so they will not attack your enemies. Don't throw them, use square.png to leave them on the ground.
    Follow the road and you will find tripwires and mines. Slowly, deactivate all of them and try to reach Egor's camp.
    Once you reach him, wait until he has his back turned to you and sneak kill him with the machete.

    Once he is dead, go back to the tunnels without triggering any alarms and you will get all 4 trophies!

    Note on Julianna invasion: Try to get this trophy as soon as possible. The most you are near the end of the game, more are the odds that Julianna will invade you. It will not be a problem if it happens, as you can kill her without triggering alarms or kill Eternalists but it will be better for you if she doesn't appear at all.
  • Kill all Visionaries in a map - and make it to the exit - without using a gun.

  • Get in and out of a map without being spotted - and kill all Visionaries present.

  • Kill all Visionaries present in a map and escape without killing any Eternalists.

  • Kill everyone in a time period and escape.

    To get this trophy, simply kill everyone during a time period in a single district, including any Visionary if present.

    Killing everyone in a map is not easy, as the districts are quite confusing and there is a high number of Eternalists, many of them hidden.

    The easiest map to do this is in The Complex during Evening. There are only 6 Eternalist and Egor and 5 of them are all together near a campfire, with the sixth on the ground, freezing. Kill all of them and then kill Egor.
  • Finish an entire loop while wearing a ClassPass.

    Another easier than it looks trophy. To get this one, you just need to survive an entire loop with the ClassPass but there is no need for you to play any mission or kill anyone.

    Just take the ClassPass on Fristad Rock at Morning and then go back to the tunnels. Now, enter any district you like, exit and enter the tunnel again, until the loop will restart.

    Just note that you CAN'T skip the time periods, you need to enter and exit the districts.
  • After finishing the game once, kill all Visionaries in a map and escape.

    You will unlock this while going for the platinum. Just kill a Visionary after finishing the game.
  • Kill all Visionaries - and no Eternalists - in a single loop.

    Buggy

    This is one of the hardest and trickiest trophies of the game. To get this, you must complete the mission "Ending it!" without killing a single Eternalist. You can be spotted anytime but don't kill anyone. This sounds hard but if you know what to do and how to do it, it becomes doable.  There are reports about this trophy being buggy but it's not clear if it's really buggy or there was something that went wrong. In order to avoid many replays, just take note of some hazards that can ruin your run:
    • Eternalists killing each other once they spot you: It's not clear if this can be count as a "kill". Try to avoid being spotted as much as possible and in case try to run and hide as quick as possible, so the Eternalists will not shoot many bullets.
    • Exploding Eternalists: This is another big hazard. It seems proven that if an Eternalist explodes, it will ruin your run. The best thing to do is to leave them alone, avoiding them and trying to not be spotted from anyone when there are any of them near.
    • Eternalists killed by anyone without spotting you: Another unclear situation is when there are Eternalists killed by others not because of you (e.g. killed by Harriet's gas or killed during Aleksis party). Probably, they will not count as a "kill", so you should have no problem with them. 
    • Egor's Residuum: To get this trophy, you don't need to take the Residuum from the Visionary. However, there are some reports online that say that the trophy unlocked when people absorbed Egor's residuum. if you have any troubles, just try to do this.
    • Exit Main Menu: if you accidentally kill an Eternalist, you can exit to the main menu and then continue. The kill won't count and you don't need to replay all the other districts again.
    You can use whatever loadout you prefer, depending on your skills and your preferences.
    Once you're ready, follow this steps:
    1. Karl's Bay, Morning: Sabotage Frank's fireworks and choose "Jam the Rain Flaps". Now, sneak into Hangar 2 (WARNING: 2 Exploding Eternalists inside Hangar 1!!!) and make your way down to Harriet, killing her while making sure you don't hit any Eternalists. You can kill her in any way you like, just be cautious. Exit through the door behind Harriet and then sneak your way to the exit.
    2. The Complex, Noon: Sneak to Egor's Camp, grab a nullifier and reveal the device when you know the area is safe, then remove the battery from the nullifier so you can use your slabs and hide. When you think you're safe, go back to the device and enter your code then push the button to turn it off. Exit the district.
    3. Fristad Rock, Afternoon: Sneak your way to Fia's and Charlie's meeting and kill them the way you like: one bullet or using the lever to drown both of them. Leave the District (WARNING: 1 Exploding Eternalist in the area with the tunnel's door!!!).
    4. Updaam, Evening: Aether and Shift are vital here due to the large number of enemies. Sneak into Aleksis's house and kill him the same way of Alpha Burger trophy_bronze.png (you can use any other ways, this is only the safest). Now, Shift to the roof and kill Egor and Wenjie. Aim for Egor first, as he can use Aether, becoming harder to find. Once you kill him, back out to a safe place and hide until eternalists will stop searching for you. Now, exit from the hideout and kill Wenjie. You'll also be notified that Frank has died during the process. After the four are dead, make your way to the Rakyetoplan and launch
    5. Now that you're with Julianna, choose to kill her and then kill yourself. Any other endings, will not count for this trophy! 
  • Prove you're a real gamer by winning Charlie's Wake Up Challenge, Reward Scheme, the Moxie, Haul-A-Quinn, and the Yerhva.

    This is another tricky trophy, as some of this game is not easy to do without a guide.
    There are 5 games scattered around the 4 districts: 3 of them can be done only in certain periods, 1 is doable anytime, while the 5th is a long one and requires some preparation.

    Wake Up Challenge:
    The Complex
    , in the morning. Once you start the district, you must run and find 4 crates in 3 minutes. You can stop the timer by pressing start if you're playing offline:
    1. Crate 1 is on the right side, close to the start, near some Eternalists. There is a small piece of metal and the crate is at the end.
    2. Crate 2 is at a short distance from Crate 1: follow the road until you find a small container. There will be a small piece of ice close to it, with 2 Eternalists over the ice and the crate near them.
    3. Turn left from Crate 2 and go straight ahead, avoid Wenjie's lab and go around the big construct on your left. On the other side of the construct, in the corner, there will be a turret along with Crate 3.  
    4. Crate 4 is in the bunker close by. Enter from the window on the second floor and you will find a control room with locked doors. Hack the antenna through the window, run in and open the last crate. 
    5. Once you opened all 4 crates, go to Charlie's house in Updaam during Noon and you will find an open door with the prize inside.
    The Moxie:
    Updamm,
    Afternoon. You can find this game on the right side of the district. Inside the building, you will find two rooms with two different games: In the first one, you have to reach the end of the room avoiding some lasers, in the second one, you need to move on the yellow tiles. There are 3 floors with increasing difficult and if you do this under a strict time limit, you will get an extra prize.
    This game looks hard but you can easily hack it in two ways:
    1. You can hack the game during Noon: there is a door under an arch next to Moxie. Inside the door, you can hack an antenna. Now, the game is slower and the time limit is longer. 
    2. Use your slabs: use Aether for the lasers and Shift for the tiles.
    I'm not sure if you need to finish this game under the time limit but if you use one of this two hacks, you should have no problems on finishing it in no time.

    Reward Scheme:
    Karl's Bay, Evening. This is the hardest game of Montague and is part of the "Super Shifty" mission for Arsenal Lead. Go to Fathoms of Lament and take a look to the map inside: there are 5 locations of crates that must be found. 3 of them are scattered around Karl's Bay (the position will change each loop), while 2 are standard:
    1. One is located inside Hangar 2. To open it, you need to pull 6 levers in a small amount of time. Start with the one near the crates, move to the second one exactly in the front (open Harriet's doors to reach it easily), the third one is in a corner under the first lever, the fourth is near the airplane upstair, the fifth is in the corner next to the second one and the last is in the nose of the airplane suspendend inside the hangar. Try to locate each lever first and then try to reach them in no time. If you fail, you have to try again during another loop.
    2. Another one is located inside the bar Dawn of Reason. Inside, you will find a Keypad with a random code to put. You can find the code inside the bar, by looking at some pictures. The first one will always be next to the Keypad, while the others are scattered around the bar. You have limited time to find the key, open the door and open the crate. If you fail, try again on another loop
    After opening the 5 crates, return to Fathoms of Lament and enter the newly opened door. You now have to pull a set number of levers within 30 seconds. The order of the levers is always the same and you can try again after the time is up. 

    If you manage to find the crates and pull the levers within a time limit, you will have access to a weapon needed for Spoiled for Choice trophy_bronze.png If you fail, you can always go back to main menu and try again.

    Haul-A-Quinn:
    Karl's Bay, Morning, Afternoon, Evening. This is the trickiest one and you need some preparations first:
    • First of all, you need the code for the delivery booths.  It can be found in Fia's bunker, in Fristad Rock at Noon. From the right side of the map, go to the Transmission Post and search for a road that leads to a beach with a group of Eternalists. Kill all of them and go inside the bunker. Inside, to the right, there are two windows. Destroy one of them and jump inside the small room. You will find a whiteboard with 4 numbers. This code is random for every player and will be recorded only after the first time you use it. 
    Now it's time for the Haul-A-Quinn. You can find the machine to the right of the main road right at the start of Karl's Bay. You have to get 4 items for the Haul-A-Quinn in order to complete the picture that's next to it.
    • Karl's Bay, Morning: 
      • Go to the delivery booth and open it. Select "Karl's Bay" > "Crank-Wheel"
      • Go to the turret on a roof close to you and grab its battery. Go to the Haul-A-Quinn and place the battery in the battery socket.
      • Now, you have to save the Eternalist that stands on a large hook inside Harriet's Hangar Once there, quickly kill Harriet and make sure that the hook isn't moving. If it is, press the up-button on the panel in front of the lever. Exit the district when you're sure that the hook isn't moving.
    • Karl's Bay, Afternoon:
      • Search for a place called "Big Smiley" near the bar. Enter it and open the door that was closed. Inside, there will be a wooden head. Pick it up and place it where Haul-A-Quinn's head should be.
      • Go to the delivery booth and take out the crank-wheel, then order a field nullifier. Select "Karl's Bay" > "Nullifier", 
      • Go back to the Haul-A-Quinn and place the crank-wheel in its left hand. Exit the district. 
    • Karl's Bay, Evening:
      • Go to the delivery booth and take out the field nullifier, then place it in the Haul-A-Quinn's right hand. 
    The Yerhva:
    Karl's Bay Anytime, but only once per Loop. The Yerhva is a quiz game. You have 10 questions and you have to correctly answer all of them. If you explored Blackreef and read all the documents, you can easily answer all the questions. They're always the same 10 but in a different order. To answer a question, just push the number related to the correct answer.
     
    You can find the Yerhva in a house at the left side of the main road.

  • While playing as Colt, ignite a gas cloud while someone is inside it.

    There are many ways to get this trophy but the easiest is to use Harriet's Fourpounder. Shoot at any Eternalist and then shoot at the gas cloud. Once it explodes with the Eternalist inside, you will get the trophy.
  • While playing as Colt, use candy to gain a tactical advantage.

    This is another misleading description. To unlock this trophy, you need to make enemies fall because of the candies. There are candy machines at different places in each district. To earn this trophy you have to make an enemy fall over by walking on the candy. The easiest location is Updaam, in the Morning. There is a candy store close to the start, with enemies near. Go inside the store and press r3.png on the machine. The candies will fall out. Now, lure an enemy to you so that they walk/run over it. You'll get the trophy if they fall over.
  • Absorb more than 20000 Residuum in a map.

    To get this trophy, simply absorb more than 20000 residuum in a map, either by killing a Visionary, farming glowing objects or killing Julianna. 

    This one should came naturally when playing and can be obtained in every district on every period, especially if Julianna will invade or if you have one or two Visionaries together in the map.
  • Kill 3 enemies with the machete in 10 seconds.

    To get this one, kill 3 enemies in 10 seconds using the machete.
    Just find three or more enemies grouped and kill them as quick as possible.
  • Kill the (mostly) naked character in each map.

    There are (mostly) naked character in each map, one per period. Those characters are usually Eternalists with only pants, Helm, Boots and weapons. Simply find them in each district and kill all of them. There are 14 total.
    Beware: Some of them have some strange color, like a painting or a tatoo. Take a look at them to make sure they're the naked characters:
    • The Complex:
      • Morning: inside the bunker, ground floor
      • Noon: in the middle of Egor's camp
      • Afternoon: near the delivery booth (this one is a colored-one)
      • Evening: in front of the tunnel's door, freezing on the ground. Kill him quick before he dies 
    • Updaam:
      • Morning: Close to the Rakyetoplan steps
      • Noon: On the other side of the candy store
      • Afternoon: in a crowd of Eternalists in front of the library, under the stage (this one is a colored-one)
      • Evening: on top of a pillar of the same stage (this one is a colored-one)
    • Karl's Bay:
      • Morning: Inside or outside the bar Dawn Of Reason
      • Afternoon: Middle floor of Hangar 1 (this one is a colored-one)
      • Evening: Inside AEON Coital Center, next to Dawn of Reason
    • Fristad Rock
      • Morning: near the security station at left side of Frank's house
      • Noon: at the bar at the right side of Frank's House
      • Afternoon: same spot as the one at Noon, other side of the counter (this one is a colored-one)

    Very easy. As soon as you see an enemies near a high place, just kick him. The easiest one is the first enemy you encounter in the game. instead of stealth killing him, sneak up to him crouched, stand up when you're right behind him and then kick him with r3.png
 

Secret trophies

  • Complete 'Ending It.'

    Story related, can't be missed

    Simply complete "Ending it" mission to get this trophy.

    Ending it is the last mission of Deathloop and will be available only when you complete all the other missions. During the mission, you will be tasked to do all the thing you already did in the other missions, but this time you need to do them all in a single day in order to kill all Visionaries in one day.

    Once you killed everyone, you will be tasked to reach the RAK in order to find Julianna. Once you reach her, you will have some dialogue and then, you will be put in front of 3 choices:
    1. Kill Julianna and then kill yourself
    2. Kill Julianna but don't kill yourself
    3. Don't kill Julianna
    You will get different endings depending on your choice and you will get the trophy whatever decision you may take.
  • Complete 'The Longest Day.'

    Story related, can't be missed

    Simply complete "The longest day" mission to get this trophy.
  • Complete 'The Ballad of Ramblin' Frank.'

    Story related, can't be missed

    Simply complete "The ballad of Ramblin' Frank" mission to get this trophy.
  • Complete 'Lost in Transmission.'

    Story related, can't be missed

    Simply complete the "Lost in transmission" mission to get this trophy.

  • Complete 'What Wenjies Want.'

    Simply complete the "What Wenjies wants" mission to get this trophy.
  • Complete 'Radio Silence.'

    Story related, can't be missed

    Simply complete the "Radio Silence" mission to get this trophy.

    This mission is a bit confusing to do, as you need 4 passwords. Those passwords need some steps to be done in a single loop:
    • You need to visit the Power Station in The Complex during Morning. Start the generators and open the Horizon Doors to enter Tidevarv Station and the Archive. You will find the password to enter the RAK.
    • After investigating the RAK, you will need 3 more voice passwords to enter the door. You need to go back to the Power Station in The Complex during Morning, use the code to access the other levers and then again use the generators to have power. Once you have enough, pull the three levers you opened. Now, you have access to the other Horizon buildings in Blackreef.
    • Unfortunately, the doors will not stay open forever! If you die or restart the loop without visiting the three buildings, you need to restart the generators again. On the other hand, when you found one of the three passwords, you don't need to visit that building again.
    • Once you have all the passwords, go back to the RAK and enter the door
  • Escape to Updaam.

    Story related, can't be missed

    You will get this trophy as soon as you will be able to visit the tunnels and move to Updaam for the first time.
  • After acquiring Reprise, die for real - or what passes for real in the Loop.

    Reprise is the first Slab you will find in the game: it will give you 2 extra lives, so you can die 2 times during a period. The lives will restore every time you move from one district to another and also, when you kill Julianna and absorb her Residuum.

    Simply die three times and restart the Loop to get this trophy.
  • Kill Aleksis using his meat grinder.

    This trophy is easier than it looks.
    First of all, for an easy time for this, I suggest to use the following slabs:
    • Aether
    • Shift
    but you can use whatever slabs and equipment you prefer.

    You can find Aleksis on Updaam at Evening: he can be found in his mansion on the far east area of the map: just follow the right path and you will end there (it is in the Colt's house area).

    Once you find the mansion, kill the enemies in front of the entrance and enter. Now, you will find yourself inside an area full of Eternalists with the same wolf mask as Aleksis. Also, Eternalists in this area will continously spawn, so you're not able to kill all of them.

    To get this trophy, simply look for some stairs at your left side once inside the main courtyard. Go up the stairs (watch out for two Eternalists in the process) and you will reach an area under the roof of the mansion. Now, look for some metal door that will lead you to the main building and once inside, you will find yourself on the "second floor" of the building. From there, you can see some catwalk over your head and under your feet: try to jump to the upper catwalk and look at your left again: you will see a small alcove where you can safely land. After jumping some crates, at your right side, you will see a small button. This is where you have to stay! Now, it's time to wait for Aleksis.

    Like some stand-up show, Eternalists will go on the stage and speak into the mic in front of them. Use dpad_down.png to scan the enemy as soon as he reaches the microphone. When you see "Uses everyone around him", this is Aleksis! Push the button and the trophy is yours!

    WARNING: You will not be able to get Karnezis Slab in this way but you can use this trick to complete the main mission regarding Aleksis
  • Kill Frank using a Slab ability. Take a bow.

    You can find Frank in Fristad Rock on Morning. 
    In order to access his house, you need to use a "ClassPass" The ClassPass will disable all of your Slab, included the one that gives you extra-lifes.

    There are two ways to get this trophy:
    • Long Way: During the exploration of Frank's house, you will find some information about ClassPasses that can be found in Charlie's lab. In order to enter Charlie's lab on Updaam (at Noon), you need a ClassPass. Once you get the ClassPass in Frank's House, go back to the tunnel and reach Updaam at Noon. Now, go to Charlie's lab and access the door. Inside, you will find a code that will disable Frank's ClassPass. Now, go back to Fristad Rock on Morning, enter the house of Frank and go on the back, finding the machine that can disable the ClassPass. Now, use Karnezis or Havoc to kill him.
    • Quick Way: in Frank's house, there is a secret entrance that can be reach from the sewers. Once you reach the front door of Frank's house, go to you right in the small "bar". From here, go down, on the low waters and search for the entrance that will lead you to Frank's Bathroom. From there, you can hack the doors and reach Frank's room with all of your slabs.
  • Kill Harriet with poisonous gas.

    Buggy

    You can find Harriet in Karl's Bay in the Morning.

    There are many ways to get this trophy but I will list here the easiest two:
    • After you kill her for the first time, get her weapon: the Fourpounder. This weapon will emit poisonous gas when it hits something. Once you have the weapon, equip it and go back to her on the next loop. Now, shoot her once or twice and then shoot the ground near her, in order to have a big poisonous cloud around her, that will kill her slowly. The hard part of this method, is to avoid killing her with the bullets and to not shoot the cloud, that will explode and kill her.
    • The second way (the one I used), is to take advantage of the poisonous gas that she will spread inside the hangar. Equip the personal trinket that will permit you to not take damage from poisonous gas and equip also Shift Slab with Swapper ability. Now, reach Harriet. Once she spreads the poisonous gas in the Hangar killing everyone, just go down the stairs (if you reach her from the top of Hangar 1). Go to the right or left side of the hangar and try to bait Harriet there. Now, use Swapper ability on her, so she will finish inside her own gas and will die with it. This may need some tries but I think this is the easiest way to do it.
    Note: There are some reports about this trophy being buggy. It unlocks immediately for me, so maybe it isn't. If you have any problems, try this until it unlocks.
  • Kill Charlie within the rules of Condition Detachment.

    You can find Charlie in Updaam during Noon. He will be inside his mansion, that is a big "role playing game".
    To get this trophy, there are some steps to do first:
    1. You need to go to Fristad Rock in the Afternoon first. Once there, go to the area Transmission Post (the big bunker where you will find Julianna's antenna). In the bottom floor, there will be a door opened, where you will find a big computer. This computer will permit you to hack 2-Bit.
    2. Once you start the computer, there will be a map on the monitor with three uplink antennas: go and hack one of them.
    3. Once you do this, there will be waves of Eternalists coming to kill you. Your goal is to survive and don't let them destroy the antennas. The right strategy to survive is to stay near one antenna and look for the icons of the other 2. As soon as you see the icon with a man with the guns, go to that antenna and kill all Eternalists and then wait for the next one.
    4. Once the waves end, go back to the main computer and select the new commands for 2-Bit. There will be one that will hack Charlie's game on Updaam. This hack will be remembered on each loop, no need to repeat it again.
    5. Go to Updaam during Noon and reach Charlie's game. Go to the second floor and reach 2-Bit. Start the conversation with it and then select the new Condition for the game: it will make Charlie the new invader and he will be instantly killed by the Eternalists.
  • Kill all versions of Wenjie within a 90-second period. Simple.

    This is the hardest trophy of the game.

    You can find Wenjie on The Complex, during Afternoon. You need to kill all Wenjies in a strict time limit of 90 seconds. The time is strict, there are many Wenjies and they are located in different areas of her lab. Also, you have to deal with healing and ammo management.

    The best way to kill them is to enter from the top entrance (the one on the left, over a little mountain) and start killing them from there. The time will start as soon as the first Wenjie dies. 
    A good loadout can be:
    • Slabs: Havoc 
    • Weapon: Purple Strelak 50-50 with Big Box and Perforant trinkets

    If you don't get the trophy, simply restart the game from pause menù and try again.

    If you still have problems getting this trophy, you could use a trick: The game has some "Accessibility options". You can find them under "Options" > "Accessibility" > then push r1.png. For this trophy, the only good options to select are "guided aim", "1 bullet kill" and put the Loop stress to "Minimum".
  • Kill Egor while he's under the influence of a nullifier.

    To get this trophy, you need to kill Egor with a field nullifier when he's in his camp.

    Egor can be found on The Complex during Evening. There are two ways you can do this:
    1. Sneak up on him in the camp without activating any traps and then hack and activate a nullifier that's close to him. Then, kill him fast with a powerful weapon
    2. Grab a field nullifier yourself and then try to place it close to Egor, then quickly switch to a weapon and kill him fast before he leaves the field. 
  • Kill Fia without causing a deadly reaction.

    You can find Fia in Fristad Rock during Noon. Fia is the trickiest Visionary to kill, because as soon as you are detected by her or her Eternalists, she will activate a nuclear reaction that will kill you and the entire island. To get this trophy, you have to kill her without activating the nuclear reaction.

    There are two ways to get this trophy:
    1. Hard way: Try to sneak into her room and kill her by stealth kill or as quick as possible
    2. Easy way: Deactivate the reactor before attacking her. This will, however, include a little bit of stealth action, because you need to enter the reactor room without being spotted. The easy way to reach the reactor is the following:
      • Enter the bunker from the top (beware of mines and tripwires in the road)
      • Once inside, take the battery from the field nullifier near the broken elevator and jump down.
      • Use the battery to unlock a door to your right and hack the camera on your left (watch out for the Eternalist in the area!)
      • Enter the door under the camera and go to the end of the room, where you will find a scheme with 4 colored wires and numbers near them. Take note of them, as they will not be recorded yet.
      • Go back to the door you opened with the battery and go for a panel that you can open by kicking it. It will lead you to some vents that can be deactivated by pushing a button.
      • You are now in the reactor area. Hack the antenna and cut the wires following the numbers of the scheme (the log will now update). You can be spotted while doing this last step, as cutting the wires will stop the reactor.
      • Now, kill Fia
  • Kill Charlie and Fia with a single bullet.

    To get this trophy, you must complete the two missions regarding Fia and Charlie. Once you complete both of them, you will be able to access the secret area where the two Visionaries will reunite.

    You can find them both on Fristad Rock on Afternoon. You need to kill them with ONE bullet, meaning that you can't waste any! One clear shot.

    The best loadout is the following:
    • Slabs: Havoc with all the power-ups that will grant you extra damage; Nexus.
    • Weapon: A good sniper rifle with any trinkets that will give you extra damage
    • Personal Trinkets: double jump and trinkets that will grant you extra damage and extra power.
    Once you reach the hideout of the couple, you will find yourself a floor under them. Try to reach the same level by using the pipes around you. Once you have a clear visual of both of them, use nexus and havoc and aim at the head of one of them (Watch out: Fia will use her power against Charlie, so wait until she stops using her Slab if you aim for her).

    One clear shot, and they're both dead.
  • Kill 3 targets at Aleksis' party without being seen. Leave Updaam satisfied, knowing you made the party a better place.

    This is another tricky trophy that should be done after you finish the game once.

    To get this trophy, first of all, you need to gather Egor and Wenjie at the Aleksis party. For Wenjie, she will always be there as soon as you complete the related mission, for Egor you need to ruin his experiments at Noon. Once you have all three, you must kill them without alerting anyone during all of the mission, not only just at the party. Enemies are considered "Alerted" once their icon will become RED. Any other colour is ok. Also, you're allowed to kill enemies.

    The best loadout is:
    • Slabs: Shift with Reach and Airborne upgrades, Nexus
    • Weapons: silenced Limp-10, a Rapiér and the Nail shooter.
    Now, follow these indications:
    • Go to The Complex at Noon. Reach Egor's camp and use a nullifier to reveal Egor's device then use the code to deactivate it. Exit the district after you're done. (You are allowed to be detected by enemies)
    • Reach Updaam at Evening. Aleksis and Wenjie will spawn here by default, while Egor will be here after you deactivate his device. Enter the district from the left door, deactivate the tripwire and kill the three enemies close to you with Nexus. Now, enter inside the Candy store and hug the left side of the district until you reach the area of the party. Your first objective is getting to the button behind the sign in the main room  like you did for Alpha Burger trophy_bronze.png (but you can use other methods, this is less dangerous)
    • Once Aleksis is dead, time to kill the other two. Go to the roof and move near the targets. Once you reach them, use nexus to connect all the enemies there and use the Rapièr on one of the Visionaries so both will die together with the Eternalists around.
    • Now, leave the area of the party and go all the way back avoiding being spotted by any survivors. Once you reach the tunnel, the trophy will unlock.

  • Enter 0451 at a keypad.

    Simply put the code 0451 in on any keypad.

DLC: Golden Loop Update

4 trophies

  • Kill the Garbage Collector and acquire the Fugue slab.

    This is the "hardest" trophy of the DLC.

    You can find the Garbage Collector inside a door on Karl's Bay in the Afternoon. This character is quite tough: he has a lot of health and deals good damage, so prepare for a long fight. The first problem to face is some Eternalists that will sometimes spawn inside the area, so take care of them as soon as possible. 

    Once you have killed all of them, you can play "Hide and Seek" with the garbage collector. Run around the area using all the strongest weapons you have (i suggest the HALPS prototype) and use the healing station as soon as you are low on health. Another good ally is the turret that you can find inside his office. Use it to deal extra damage and to distract the enemy while you hit him with everything you got. If you play it safe, you should do it without much troubles. Once he dies, take the slab and infuse it.
  • Acquire the HALPS Prototype and disintegrate a Visionary.

    HALPS prototype is the new Laser weapon added with the DLC and this is a very powerful weapon! Getting it is not very hard but it can be tricky and can kill you. Also, beware of Wenjie!
    The HALPS can be found on The Complex during every period, except Evening. To find and get it, follow these steps:
    • Go to Wenjie's lab but instead entering the main entrance, go to the green building in front of it. Try to take with you a portable machine gun hacked.
    • At the back of the building, you will find the case with the HALPS, two levers and two laser sensors. At the far left of the case, there is a broken battery station. Hack the sensors and activate the two levers. The weapon will shoot a laser beam that will be reflected by the two sensors. If you look carefully, the laser will end his road on the ground, where a big X is placed (Beware: Try to stay away from the lasers!).
    • Carefully, put the machine gun on the spot with the big X and try to find the correct angle in order to make the laser hit the battery station. Once you do this, the case will open and you can take the weapon.
    Once you get the weapon, it's time to use it! Go to any Visionary you like and kill him/her with the HALPS.

     
  • Use the experimental machine in Karl's Bay to craft a doubly-powerful trinket.

    To get this trophy, you must craft a gold trinket using an experimental machine in Karl's Bay during the Afternoon.
    Once in Karl's Bay, look for one of the buildings in front of you: inside, you will find some Eternalists and a strange experimental machine. Your goal is to take the Residuum Harvester on the right side of the machine and try to reach Mark 1 on it by collecting residuum. There are 2 ways to do it:
    1. The "right" way: Activate the machine by pulling the lever. This will activate a 4-minutes wave of infused enemies that you must kill in order to collect residuum. The enemies are surrounded by some strange light and If you look at the sky, you will see the light that will indicate where to find the enemies.
    2. The "unfair" way: Just go around the district and collect residuum from objects. 
    Once you reach mark 1 on the harvester, go back in the building and put the harvester in the machine at the right. Now, another wave of Eternalists will attack you, so try to not die and wait until the process is complete.

    Depending on the mark you had on the harvester, you will receive from 1 to 3 gold trinkets and this trophy.
  • Kill an Eternalist with a Paint Bomb.

    Eternalists with paint bombs are a new enemy added with the DLC. You can find a high number of them around all districts in all periods. They are different from other Eternalists: they've glowing flares and spread some music.

    You can get this trophy in two ways:
    1. Kill silently the Eternalist with the paint bomb and take one of the bombs with you. Throw the bomb near another Eternalist and when he's near it, shoot the bomb.
    2. Kill the Eternalist with the paint bomb by making him explode near another Eternalist.
