Win 10 times in Beach Volleyball.

How to unlock Beach Volleyball Master

You should easily get this going for all the S+ Ranks if not before doing other Volleyball-related missions. Win 10 games of Beach Volleyball with a partner against two other characters. As usual, games against opponents on Easy aren't that hard once you get the controls and with practice opponents on Normal can be dealt with as well. Points are scored by a team when the ball hits the sand on the opposing team's side of the net, and the team that scored the last point always serves next. Your team can win if they reach seven points first unless a six-six Deuce tie is reached, then it's first to two points more ahead and if both sides hit nine-nine then the team that reaches the 10th point will win.

You can use three types of serve, underarm is a guaranteed successful serve but just use timing with and again to hit the ball (if timed perfectly you can get Technique bonus points). Use the to move your character around the court – you want one character up by the net and one further back, ideally on separate sides (one left, one right) as well. When the other team sends the ball back to your side you can choose to receive the ball with - always tap the button as you cannot always trust the A.I partner to receive the ball when it comes over. If your partner has received the ball then use to set the ball up so the partner can attack and if your partner has set the ball up then depending on your position, either attack with (if you're close to the net or just about a third from it) or use to "feint" and send the ball over the net if you're too far away (always use if your partner set up the ball and you're behind them and they are at least half-way from the net). You can also choose to block an opponent if they are jumping to attack and you're close to the net with a timed press that can prevent the attack and send the ball down to the other team's side. On the other hand if you see a member of the other team going to block your attack then instead of pressing you can instead press for a "feint" hit, thus sending the ball softly sailing down (on Normal and upwards it's more likely the other teammate will manage to reach the ball off this but continuing the game can be better than losing a point).

As with other activities, this isn't too tough on Easy as often the other team will just stand around when you or your partner attacks and with practice, Normal opponents aren't too tough either. The A.I for this game can be very unfair, making getting perfect (opposition scores no points) games extremely difficult as opponents can pull winning shots out of nowhere and your partner can just not play or receive the ball for no reason. This game awards the highest satisfaction boosts and Zack Dollars for winning so you should become very familiar with this game over the course of the grinding of Owner Levels. However if you lose then you get the lowest boost available (one tiny heart) so it's very much a risk-and-reward deal here. If you are confident in your playing ability then use this activity to get your cash and boost, otherwise stick with Rock Climbing for guaranteed, no fail boosts.
