Introduction

Welcome to Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune! A video game about the female fighters of the Dead or Alive series on vacation! Instead of fighting in the ring, they're battling on the beach in games of volleyball, on the sand to race to grab a flag and in challenges on a pool to pull the opponent into water by rope or by physical force with their backside but there's also plenty of chances to just relax and enjoy the sunshine, buy a new outfit or trinket from the shops and stop by the casino at night for a bit of gambling.

Your task in this game is to be the owner of Zack Island and you must ensure that your selected woman has the most enjoyable vacation possible over 14 in-game days! You achieve this by playing activities as the lady, fulfilling mission objectives and offering gifts the woman likes. Doing this will increase the enjoyment level of the lady and earn them Zack Dollars for completing activities but completed missions will also give you XP for your Owner Level and Owner Zack Cash. At the end of the vacation you will receive a ranking based on how much the guest enjoyed themselves through the mentioned ways.

The game is not available for sale in retail in the West but can be imported and played on Western PS4s. The game itself has full English menus and subtitles, just make sure you get the Asian version and not the Japanese one.

WARNING

It's not advisable to play this unpatched because not only do the updates fix some really nasty crashing and save file corruption issues. Also note that as of v1.07, your saves are tied to the current patch so won't load if you don't have the latest one installed.

Walkthrough:

Step 1 – Achieve a S+ Rank with every Character

Each character has their own trophies linked to playing Vacation Mode (the game itself) and a Special Vacation! Trophy for satisfying their needs completely to earn a S+ rank at the final assessment screen after the 14 days of their vacation. To earn this rank you must increase the lady's enjoyment level to the maximum of 100 and also complete each of the seven unique character missions linked to that character when they appear.

You will increase the enjoyment level of your chosen woman by playing activities with them, buying them gifts, food or drink they like and completing missions which range from just playing activities, buying items, playing games at the Casino or just relaxing. As the level increases, you will unlock the unique character missions which will always stand out on the mission ticker by starting off with the lady in the description (Kasumi Mission 1/7 etc.). The character missions in terms of layout and type of challenge are the same – buy unique favourite items, win a game of beach volleyball, have the character accept a bikini from the Owner Shop and lastly, hit the maximum enjoyment level of 100 before the last night.

Character missions for each woman stack. If you don't complete in one run, you will be able to continue on from the last/next mission reached during the next play-through with that character. Do every mission that asks for gifts to be bought, in Girl Mode as it's far harder to earn Owner Mode Cash than it is in regular Girl Mode so that saves you some grinding but you specifically have to purchase a particular swimsuit (such as Pure White Bikini, Jet Black Bikini etc.) in Owner Mode, gift it to the character (do so at Night Time) and have her accept and wear it. The easiest way to do this is to play only Rock Climbing and Beach Volleyball (skill dependant), complete easy missions or ones related to those activities and give the character gifts they like only at Night Time at the hotel. Activity wise, Rock Climbing and Beach Volleyball offer the highest enjoyment level increases (as well as Zack Cash earned, which is used to buy stuff from the shops and play Casino games) upon completion with a guaranteed two large hearts for Climbing and three for Beach Volleyball if you win. The key there is if as the A.I can be sometimes very unfair with shots, thus making a Perfect Victory extremely difficult but with practise, even opponents on Normal can be relatively easy to beat. The others offer lower enjoyment even with a win and things like choosing to Relax or anything done in Owner Mode to watch doesn't give any boost so should be ignored for now.

Ignore any missions during the Daytime that are not related to playing Rock Climbing or playing and winning Beach Volleyball (but don't bother with a Perfect Victory Volleyball mission), buying food or drink and consuming in Girl Mode, buying new swimsuits in Girl Mode, playing and winning games of Beach Volleyball and during the Night Time, playing any Casino games or achieving One Pair one or more times. The advantage of completing missions based on consuming food etc. means you can still play a daily activity so you can complete that, then go right to doing Rock Climbing or Volleyball and the mission will award the XP etc. after the activity.

With gift giving, if done during one of the three daytime time segments then it counts as an activity so can use up a time slot and there's a chance the woman will refuse to accept the gift. At Night Time, offering a gift that the woman likes (or would like if she refuses to take it) will give you two big hearts to improve the enjoyment level regardless of if she accepted it or no and take you back to the menu so you can still go to the Casino and do any mission relating to it. Give gifts every night to continue boosting the level. Be aware that food and drink items usually last three day periods so anything bought in the Morning Time will expire/go off by Night Time but anything bought at Day Time or Evening Time will be fine.

Also worth noting that if refused by the woman, all gifts, trinkets and swimsuits can be rewrapped from the Owner Shop or any store to be re-gifted again, very handy for the character-specific mission to get her to wear the specified Owner Shop bikini. If she didn't accept it the first night (and you have the Owner Mode Cash to rewrap) just play through another day of Rock Climbing etc and at Night Time rewrap and try gifting again to the character. See Will She Like It? For a list of preferred gifts and some tips for good gifting.

Glitch warning: There's a glitch that can screw you out of the "Pictorial Ending" Special Vacation! trophies if you're not careful. This happens when Mission 7 of 7 appears during one of the final two periods on Day 14 and for some reason, the game becomes forgetful and doesn't register that you've completed it. To avoid this, just go to town with increasing your girl's Satisfaction level and do enough missions to ensure that Mission 7 of 7 appears either before Day 14 or during the Morning Period.

If at the last night the text at the Night Time hotel reads “Enjoy the Last Night” then you've successfully hit S+ Rank to get the trophy as well as earned some nice bonus Owner Cash and XP based on the rank earned. As a side note during your playthroughs here and in the next step, be sure to buy new swimsuits from the Beach Shop in Girl Mode whenever your character is close to or has hit the maximum amount of Zack Cash to help the costume grind that's upcoming.

Step 2 – The Grind to Owner Level 50

The longest step as we now grind our way to plaything though as many missions as possible to get Owner XP and unlock the two Paradise viewing modes of Event Paradise (Level 30) and Pictorial Paradise (Level 50).

Now we can play all the games, activities and relax as much as we like! Here you'll easily get the rest of the Master trophies for activities, gifting and pairing up with girls and getting each character 20 different swimsuits from the Beach Shop. The last trophies you should get are the Paradise ones so the rest should be a breeze.

Feel free to do any and every reasonable mission that comes your way from games to taking pictures but I would still avoid any missions that involve winning perfect (opponent scores no points) games especially if opponents are ranked Normal or Hard and anything to do with gifting in Owner Mode or wearing another character's costumes. Also, Casino missions for getting a Blackjack in Blackjack or Two-Pair one or two times are very luck based and takes a long time so it's up to you if you want to do all of them.

Every mission completed gives you Owner XP and increases the character's enjoyment, which in turn will mean a better ranking at the end of the vacation and that gives you bonus XP so continue to give gifts at Night Time for that extra boost at the end to hit those levels quicker. Never choose to quit out of the vacation early at the Night Time menu as if you do, then you won't be awarded any rank and will miss out on helpful boosts.

Misaki DLC:

Overview:
  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (personal opinion)
  • Offline trophies: 3 (2(B), 1(S))
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 3-4hrs (personal opinion)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 + Cleanup but 2 + Cleanup is more likely
  • Number of missable trophies: None, because all Vacations are replayable you will keep everything you have unlocked/bought.
  • Glitched trophies: None but see the glitch note in the Introduction, for info on an issue that can cause problems.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: Not directly but trying the Hard/Extreme missions or playing against girls rated as Hard will make earning money a lot more frustrating.
  • Do trophies stack?: Yes, they stack with the Scarlet version of the game.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available.
  • Additional peripherals required?: No, VR is optional.

Introduction:

Misaki is the first of two new character DLCs released for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune but do note you will need the 1.17 or higher patch installed and that these DLCs aren't available for the Vita (Venus) release of the game. Misaki is an easy character to play but is very fussy about which items she will accept, since there are only a small handful she actually likes. Regardless, you will still get all 3 of Misaki's trophies in 3-4hrs, depending on how good you are at Volleyball and how quickly you manage to raise her Satisfaction Rate to maximum.

Notes:
  • Select pieces of info in this Guide came from DOAX DIVAS so credit to them.
  • Misaki is an easy character to play as but is the fussiest one in the game when it comes to which items she will and won't accept, because there are only 4 she actually likes/loves. Regardless, you will still get all 3 of Misaki's trophies in 3-4hrs, depending on how good you are at Volleyball and how quickly you manage to raise her Satisfaction Rate to maximum. Also note she is the only girl in the game with 2 Loved items, whereas everyone else only has a single item in that category.
  • Despite being the first DLC character to be released, Misaki is placed inbetween Nyotengu and Kokoro near the bottom of the character selection screen.
  • This Guide is written assuming you are familiar with the game's mechanics/quirks and have finished it at least twice.
Glitch Note: On very rare occasions, Misaki will reject an item even if it's on her "Like" list. If this happens, all you can do is rewrap the item and try again.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Finish 1 Vacation and try to get all 3 trophies

You should be able to get the S+ Rating needed for (S) Misaki's Special Vacation! but due to how expensive Misaki's swimsuits are, it's likely you won't have sufficient funds to also get (B) Misaki's Collection unless you either cheat or are exceptionally good at Volleyball. The S+ Rating will be the hardest part of this Step but don't panic if you fail to get it, since you will have another chance in your next vacation. If you're lucky, you may also unlock the Step 2 trophies here as well.

Trophies earned during this Step:

Misaki's Memories (B)

Step 2: Finish your second vacation and try to get any trophies you missed in Step 1

If things went wrong in Step 1 and you failed to get an S+ Rating and/or didn't manage to buy 20 swimsuits, you can do another vacation and finish up there. On beginning a subsequent vacation with Misaki, she will start with a Neutral Satisfaction Rate so you won't have to level it up as much as you did the first time around.

Trophies earned during this Step:

Misaki's Collection (B)
Misaki's Special Vacation! (S)

Step 3: Cleanup (optional)

In the highly unlikely event you are still missing either the Misaki's Collection (B) or Misaki's Special Vacation! (S) after completing 2 full vacations, please use this Step to get them.

Introduction:

Leifang is the second of two new character DLCs released for Dead or Alive Xtreme 3: Fortune. You will need the 1.17 or higher patch installed beforehand, and these DLCs aren't available for the Vita (Venus) release of the game. Leifang is less fussy than Misaki but handles a lot worse and sucks at Volleyball, hence the higher difficulty rating. Regardless, you will still get all 3 of Leifang's trophies in 4-5hrs, depending on how good you are at Volleyball and how quickly you manage to raise her Satisfaction Rate to maximum. Also note that this DLC supports the VR Paradise mode, so have fun if you possess a VR Headset.

  • This Guide is written assuming you are familiar with the game's mechanics/quirks and have finished it at least twice.

Glitch Notes:
  • As of the 1.17 patch, there is a rare glitch which can cause the game to crash whilst in Zack of all Trades so backup your save on a frequent basis to prevent any possible corruption issues. To date, this issue has only happened to me once and only when playing as Leifang so it could be a one off or the start of something more serious but it still bears mentioning. As of v1.19, this glitch appears to have been fixed but it's still recommended you backup your saves on a regular basis in case it hasn't.
  • On very rare occasions, Leifang will reject an item even if it's on her "Like" list. If this happens, all you can do is rewrap the item and try again.

56 trophies ( 13  40  )

  • Earn all of the trophies in the game.

Unlock all of the other trophies to obtain the Platinum Trophy.
  • Play and complete Vacation Mode with Kasumi.

Select Kasumi as your character for Vacation Mode and complete a full Vacation of 14 days so just play all the way to the final ranking screen then, regardless of the ranking, you will get the trophy.
  • Collect 20 swimsuits for Kasumi.

Have Kasumi obtain by either purchase or gifting 20 different swimsuits over the course of your playthroughs.

Each character's inventory remains after each Vacation so each will still have the items and costumes they had by the end of the last run. Just keep buying new suits from the Beach Shop while in Girl Mode as you play, to easily get this and avoid the hassle and cost of her rejecting swimsuits if you try to gift her them in Owner Mode. You will need to gift her one bikini as part of her unique missions anyway so just keep snapping up others from the shop as you play.

Note: The Famitsu Magazine and pre-order bonus outfits don't count towards the Swimsuit collection trophies, plus they can't be re-wrapped and gifted to anyone.
  • Watch Kasumi's ending pictorial.

Achieve an S+ evaluation rank at the end of the Vacation with Kasumi in Vacation Mode.
You will need to complete all seven unique missions for each character, and have their enjoyment be the maximum of 100 by Night Time of Day 14 – itself the final 7/7 character mission of day 14 of ensuring the character is "fully satisfied" by the end. The missions for each character are the same in terms of type but just requiring different items relating to each lady – buying specific food or gift items related to the character (Mister Moo doll for Honoka, Dagger for Ayane etc.) from Zack of all Trades, winning a game of Beach Volleyball and getting a bikini available from the Owner Shop (requiring you to buy it from the Owner Shop and have the character accept it, preferably at Night Time). The item buying missions are simple as you can do it in Girl Mode with Girl Cash and winning one game of Volleyball against two opponents on Easy or Normal isn't too hard once you get used to the controls.
If you can't get all the missions done in one run (a character rejecting the bikini from Owner Shop is very annoying, especially as it's still costly to rewrap it to gift again) then don't worry about it. Any completed missions will carry on (be completed already) in the next run with the character so you can pick up where you left off. You will know when you've hit the S+ rank when at Night Time of Day 14 the text for the option to sleep, instead reads "Enjoy the Last Night" so just select and enjoy the short cutscene with your thankful lady!
  • Play and complete Vacation Mode with Momiji.

Select Momiji as your character for Vacation Mode and complete a full Vacation of 14 days so just play all the way to the final ranking screen then, regardless of the ranking, you will get the trophy.

  • Select the girl you would like to invite to New Zack Island.

Just pick any character at the game's start and play through one activity of any kind to get this.
  • Complete Vacation Mode with an S Rating or higher.

You will easily get this when going for all the S+ ranks. At the end of each vacation an evaluation screen will show you your Owner rank, based on the enjoyment level of the character on vacation at the end (plus how many character-related missions you completed). Getting a rank of S or S+ for the first time will unlock this trophy.
  • Successfully pair up with a girl 10 times.

Note: The description for this trophy is misleading because it implies that you must pair up with the same girl but you can actually do it with multiple different girls.

While other trophies relate to the enjoyment level of your character, there's also a Closeness rating that applies to your character and how they get on with the other women on Zack Island. You can see how this is on activity select screens for games played against others or on the gifting menu represented by music notes. You can increase this level by playing games against the other ladies such as Tug-of-War or Butt Battle (seemingly losing to them makes the closeness stronger as sometimes when I played and won against them, the level actually went down).

A successful pair up counts when you ask a lady to be your partner in Girl Mode during one of the Daytime time periods, and she accepts. The first offer from a lady to be partners when you start a vacation doesn't count. The chances of the girl accepting your character's offer, increases if they currently don't have a partner (choose the Sleep in option at Night Time at the hotel to break up the current partnership) and the closeness is at least two notes showing but on the safe side, perhaps play one more closeness game at that level to be extra sure. Please note that when you break off an existing partnership (either by sleeping in or getting another lady to be your partner) that former friend's closeness will drop a level, thus requiring a bit more work to get up to that two note level again.
  • Successfully send a gift to someone 10 times from a girl.

Similar to Let's Play Together but instead you will offer a gift from your character to your current partner from the "Give a gift" option during one of the Daytime time zones options at a location. The higher the closeness level (at least two notes) the more likely a gift will be taken and even if the partner says "I'll open this later" or similar it counts towards this trophy. Apply the same rules from Will She Like It? when gifting i.e using wrapping the partner prefers and give gifts they like. It is possible with this and the maximum closeness rating to have your partner accept a swimsuit from the Sport Shop but if you're just after the trophy, just stick with normal items and trinkets.

If you backup your save beforehand, then you can quickly copy it back should a girl refuse to take your gift.
  • Watch 10 different virtual pictorials.

n Owner Mode select "Watch a Girl Relax" to watch 10 different cutscenes. Each girl has a different regular relaxations for each location, based on the time of day so that's three in total for each location and three locations (Pool and Poolside give the same ones) so each character has nine normal "pictorials". You can do 9 with one character then just 1 with another or any combination across all the characters.
  • Change a girl's hairstyle.

In the Sport Shop whilst in Girl Mode, there is at least one different but pricey alternative hairstyle that you can buy. Just buy one, go to the Items tab in your character's inventory then pick the new hairstyle and equip it.
  • Earn 10,000 Zack Dollars at the Casino.

At Night Time whilst in Girl mode at the hotel, head to The Casino and win 10,000 Zack Dollars from gambling at any of the games. The easiest way is just play a 10,000 Zack Dollar bet game of Blackjack and if you have money to burn then you will get this after just a couple of tries. Press the "Hit" option until you get to around 18 to 21, then press "Stand" and see if the dealer goes bust or gets a lower amount than you.

Here's a fast way of making a lot of Girl or Owner cash and getting this trophy in the process, very quickly: LINK
This doesn't work as well since the 1.04 patch landed but you can still make up to 710,000 in one go if you're lucky . I also add chips to the 0 and 00 slots, since those can give you an insane amount of cash should the ball land on them. Again if you backup your save beforehand, then you can quickly copy it back should a bet go wrong.
Credit to Terminator for this tip.
  • Go shopping at the Owner Shop.

Make your first purchase from the Owner Shop, accessed in Owner Mode from the option at the hotel at Night Time or from the Poolside during any of the Daytime periods. You will get this when going for the S+ Ranks for each character as each one has a character-specific mission to get a bikini from the Owner Store so pick the relevant one, wrap it and purchase for the trophy.
  • Take a photo of a girl in Owner Mode.

In Owner Mode, select any "Take a Picture of..." option with your character relaxing or playing an activity. I can't recall if this pops if you just take a picture from the option at the Poolside or at the Hotel but since you need to view virtual Pictorials for that trophy anyway and there are picture taking missions to be done later on, you will easily get this. When viewing a lady relaxing etc. press for camera mode, then again to take a picture or if you're so inclined, you can tilt the camera or zoom in or out before you snap away.
  • Successfully send a gift to a girl 10 times from the owner.

Have a character accept a gift from you in Owner mode 10 times. As mentioned before, don't bother gifting your lady an item during the day, just buy item(s) from the stores during the Daytime and wrap them up in your character's preferred wrapping paper colour then at Night Time, go to Owner Mode and offer the gift. Even if refused, her enjoyment level will increase and the higher the level; the higher likelihood of accepting gifts. You will easily get this going for all the S+ Ranks. The inventory of the shops, changes with each time period change so keep checking the shops for items your character will like.

If you backup your save beforehand, then you can quickly copy it back should a girl refuse to take your gift.

Thanks to April for a full list of liked and disliked items here: LINK but for simplicity sake, here's some cheap items that each girl likes you should snap up when they appear:

  • Activate the Changing Event in Owner Mode.

You should get this going for the S+ Ranks. When you gift a character a swimsuit and she accepts it (remember that character-specific mission for Owner Shop bikini?) then this will activate the cutscene where she changes into it. Just let it play through and the trophy is yours.

Warning: If you press at anytime during the changing sequence, then the girl will get really angry with you and refuse to wear the outfit you just gave her. Angering your girl will also cause her Satisfaction level to plummet.
  • Complete the tutorial mission.

On starting your first vacation with a character, there are 10 introductory tutorial missions to complete that take you through the basics of activities, photo taking, the different modes etc. Just do them all then the trophy will pop.
  • Raise your Owner Level to 10.

Complete missions and full Vacations to gain XP and increase your Owner Level up to Level 10. You will get this on your way to obtaining all the S+ Rank trophies.
  • Raise your Owner Level to 30.

Again, keep doing missions and completing Vacations to grind out XP. You need to reach Level 50 anyway to get all the trophies so hitting Level 30 (and unlocking Event Paradise in the process) is just a step to further glory!
  • Win 10 times in Pool Hopping.

There are two types of Pool Hopping activities i.e solo and playing against another character. This trophy relates to winning 10 games against another girl. The idea of this game is to press the corresponding buttons (, , , ) that match the symbols on the pads on the pool to hop or step onto the next one. A quick press of the button will make your character step one space, a long press down will make her hop over one pad, over a gap of water to a pad beyond and over the final gap to reach the poolside to finish the race.

Reach the other side of the pool before your opponent to win. I personally wouldn't bother against any opponents who are ranked Hard but on Easy or Normal this isn't too tricky if you take advantage of this tip: On any trio of pads use a long press to skip from the first pad to the third then onto the next pad or pads, as this saves time and should help you win without any real problems. If matching the exact button symbols for each press is tricky, then you can actually just press or hold any button to advance along the line – you just get a bonus for a correct match but it's not mandatory to be done.
  • Win 10 times in Butt Battle.

Win 10 games of Butt Battle against another girl. Against Easy opponents this is a breeze, Normal can pose a slight challenge but don't bother on Hard. Press towards the opponent to bump them closer to the edge, or tap away from them to dodge (you can also side-step). Opponents ranked Easy barely fight at all and don't defend so you can easily get this over a couple playthroughs with different characters but on Normal and upwards they can use a very unfair and sudden counter attack that can send you off instantly. Just win three rounds of Butt Battle to win a game then repeat nine more times for the trophy.
  • Win 10 times in Tug-of-War.

Win 10 games of Tug-of-War against another girl. Against opponents on Easy this is a breeze, Normal can pose a challenge and don't bother on Hard. The key is reacting to your opponent's actions especially on Normal and above. If they "feint" (just pushing the rope towards you instead of pulling back), use to pull them forward and again quickly to pull them off their platform. You can also "feint" by pressing to send them falling off the other side of their platform but I found this sort of tricky to pull off. You can easily get this done against opponents on Easy if you start pulling them off their platform right from the start, and use the wait until they fake tactic on any Normal ranked opposition. Win three rounds to win a game, then rinse and repeat nine more times.
  • Win 10 times in Beach Volleyball.

You should easily get this going for all the S+ Ranks if not before doing other Volleyball-related missions. Win 10 games of Beach Volleyball with a partner against two other characters. As usual, games against opponents on Easy aren't that hard once you get the controls and with practice opponents on Normal can be dealt with as well. Points are scored by a team when the ball hits the sand on the opposing team's side of the net, and the team that scored the last point always serves next. Your team can win if they reach seven points first unless a six-six Deuce tie is reached, then it's first to two points more ahead and if both sides hit nine-nine then the team that reaches the 10th point will win.

You can use three types of serve, underarm is a guaranteed successful serve but just use timing with and again to hit the ball (if timed perfectly you can get Technique bonus points). Use the to move your character around the court – you want one character up by the net and one further back, ideally on separate sides (one left, one right) as well. When the other team sends the ball back to your side you can choose to receive the ball with - always tap the button as you cannot always trust the A.I partner to receive the ball when it comes over. If your partner has received the ball then use to set the ball up so the partner can attack and if your partner has set the ball up then depending on your position, either attack with (if you're close to the net or just about a third from it) or use to "feint" and send the ball over the net if you're too far away (always use if your partner set up the ball and you're behind them and they are at least half-way from the net). You can also choose to block an opponent if they are jumping to attack and you're close to the net with a timed press that can prevent the attack and send the ball down to the other team's side. On the other hand if you see a member of the other team going to block your attack then instead of pressing you can instead press for a "feint" hit, thus sending the ball softly sailing down (on Normal and upwards it's more likely the other teammate will manage to reach the ball off this but continuing the game can be better than losing a point).

As with other activities, this isn't too tough on Easy as often the other team will just stand around when you or your partner attacks and with practice, Normal opponents aren't too tough either. The A.I for this game can be very unfair, making getting perfect (opposition scores no points) games extremely difficult as opponents can pull winning shots out of nowhere and your partner can just not play or receive the ball for no reason. This game awards the highest satisfaction boosts and Zack Dollars for winning so you should become very familiar with this game over the course of the grinding of Owner Levels. However if you lose then you get the lowest boost available (one tiny heart) so it's very much a risk-and-reward deal here. If you are confident in your playing ability then use this activity to get your cash and boost, otherwise stick with Rock Climbing for guaranteed, no fail boosts.
  • Win 10 times in Beach Flags.

Win 10 games of Beach Flag against another woman. When "Go!" appears on the screen, mash to make your character run and when you get close to the flag hit to jump and grab the grab it. Like the other mini-games, on Easy this is a breeze but on Normal it a challenge and don't bother on Hard. Grab the flag before your opponent to win and repeat nine more times.
  • Reach the goal 10 times in Rock Climbing.

This is a solo activity that cannot be failed or lost so is a guaranteed success. Rock Climbing is a QTE mini-game where you press the matching button (, , , ) the symbol that appears on screen, getting timing bonus points if you press the correct button right after it appears but pressing a wrong button makes your character hesitate from their climb. Simply keep pressing the right buttons to climb up, reach the top, and get generous enjoyment boost and Girl Mode Zack Cash. During the second week of the Vacation, as well as the four regular buttons, the and buttons come into play as well as three instances of having to press two buttons at once but just waiting to see the required buttons then pressing them makes this simple.

For the missions relating to this based on time, beating it in under 55 seconds isn't too hard as you can have room for one or two mistakes/hesitations as you climb. For 48 seconds however, you need a perfect run of no hesitations and quick enough presses (the double presses during the "harder" version of climbing don't need you to get the timing bonus from them, just in quick enough time so don't rush these presses) in order to reach the top. These missions are guaranteed wins with big boosts to the enjoyment level so should be a go to for getting the S+ ranks, unless you are highly skilled at Beach Volleyball.
  • Play Pictorial Paradise.

This is unlocked after reaching Owner Level 50 and you access it from the Owner Paradise option in the main menu, select any character and any Relax scene you've already viewed during the game then let it play.
Obviously this a lengthy grind even after getting all the S+ Ranks and swimsuit related trophies. Help yourself along by doing as many simple activity, relaxing, photo taking or Casino missions as possible, keep playing Rock Climbing or Beach Volleyball and always give the character preferred gifts at Night Time to increase enjoyment levels for the highest possibly rank at the end of the vacation for that bonus XP boost. It's a long haul but during it, you will have more than enough time and chances to focus on getting the other trophies done.
  • Play Event Paradise.

Unlocked after reaching Owner Level 30, itself the Owner of All trophy. Access this from the main menu, select any character and any cutscene then let it play. Since the full grind is up to Level 50 to get the Paradise Forever! trophy, you will get this along the way to it.

DLC: "Misaki" Character License

3 trophies

  • Play and complete Vacation Mode with Misaki.

    Story related, can't be missed

You will get this by finishing a vacation with any rating whilst playing as Misaki. The trophy will pop once you reach the end-of-vacation results screen.
  • Collect 20 swimsuits for Misaki.

    Notes:
    • The description for this trophy is a little misleading, because only unique swimsuits will count. This means you can't give Misaki the same one over and over and expect it to count.
    • To keep things simple, only the Misaki specific swimsuits will be listed here and not the DLC ones. Do note that Leifang and Misaki are the only characters not to get any dedicated DLC swimsuits like the other 9 girls did.
    • For some unknown reason, Misaki is the only girl not to have a "Lovely Summer" swimsuit.
To get this trophy, Misaki has to receive 20 swimsuits from either yourself, Zack, the other girls or a combination of all three. Here's a list of all Misaki's swimsuits that are available in the Sports Shop and how much they cost in Zack Dollars:-

    Sports Shop:
    • Damsel - 100,000
    • Scalyfin - 100,000
    • Puraa - 100,000
    • Barnacles - 200,000
    • Choral - 200,000
    • Kuraino - 200,000
    • Blue Damselfish - 300,000

Owner Shop Exclusives (unlock requirements unknown):
    • Navy Swimsuit (Misaki) - 500,000
    • Rouge Swimsuit (Misaki) - 500,000
    • White Swimsuit (Misaki) - 500,000
    • Forest Bloomers (Misaki) - 600,000
    • Navy Bloomers (Misaki) - 600,000
    • Rouge Bloomers (Misaki) - 600,000
    • Starbow Vest - 900,000
    • Starlight Vest - 900,000
    • Starmist Vest - 900,000
If you have been buying the swimsuits in money order and bought the Pure White Bikini as part of Misaki's missions, then the trophy will pop once you buy the Marlin. Note that the Sports Shop swimsuits don't have to be worn for them to count towards this trophy but the Owner Shop swimsuits have to be accepted by Misaki, for them to count. Whilst there is an option in the Owner Store to use the Premium Ticket and Crystal Wrapping Paper microtransactions, they are account and region locked so won't work outside of their country of origin.
  • Watch Misaki's ending pictorial.

To see the ending pictorial, you must raise Misaki's Satisfaction Rate to 100 and complete Miskai Mission 7/7: Satisfy Misaki before the end of the vacation! This mission will only trigger if Misaki's Satisfaction Rate reaches 100, before Day 14 of the vacation and completing it will enable the "Enjoy the Last Night" option once you reach the evening of Day 14. Missions 1-6 involve everything from playing a match of X game type, to buying the Pure White Bikini or a specific item. It is strongly recommended you skip any non-tutorial missions involving the following activities, because they either don't award much cash, only grant an insignificant increase in Misaki's Satisfaction Rate or are simply tedious/a pain in the butt to pull off:
    • Taking pictures of Misaki
    • Watching Misaki relaxing
    • Playing a game of X gametype against girls rated Hard or Extreme
    • Get a perfect score in Butt Battle, Tug-of-War or Volleyball
    • Win a Poker/Blackjack game with X hand
    • Play Poker/Blackjack/Roulette 10 times
    • Eat your Partner's favourite/most hated food/drink
    • Wear the same swimsuit as your partner
You can abort a mission by switching to Owner Mode when either at the Poolside or in your Hotel Room and choosing the "Quit Mission" option but do note that this will take one session to take effect and give you a new Mission.

Here's the full list of all of Misaki's missions:

Note: These won't start appearing until you have both finished the main tutorial and got Misaki's Satisfaction Rate up to at least 25, then you have to keep improving it for subsequent missions to appear.
    • Misaki Mission 1/7: Drink a "Tapioca milk tea" with Misaki!
    • Misaki Mission 2/7: Use a "Microphone" with Misaki!
    • Misaki Mission 3/7: Play and win a game of "Beach Volleyball" while you're paired up with another girl!
    • Misaki Mission 4/7: Eat a "Mango vanilla crepe" with Misaki!
    • Misaki Mission 5/7: Get the "Pure White Bikini" with Misaki! (Notes: The description for this mission is wrong and fails to mention it has to be done in Owner Mode. Also note this will pop (B) So Many to Choose From and (B) No Peeking! if you haven't got them already. It's also advisable to backup your save before attempting this, else you will waste time and money if something goes wrong and the swimsuit is rejected).
    • Misaki Mission 6/7: Get the "Astronomical Telescope" with Misaki! (Note: The description for this mission is wrong and calls the Telescope an "Astronomical Telescope" when it should be just "Telescope". It's possible there were supposed to be 2 different telescopes in the game at one point but that's just my speculation).
    • Misaki Mission 7/7: Satisfy Misaki before the end of the vacation!

Here's a list of all the non-swimsuit items that Misaki Loves and Likes but do note her favourite colour is Star Pattern so ensure all presents are wrapped in Star Pattern Wrapping Paper:

Loves (grants 3 large hearts worth of Satisfaction):
    • Mango Vanilla Crepe - 100,000 (Unlocks after completing Misaki Mission 3/7: Play and win a game of "Beach Volleyball" while you're paired up with another girl!)
    • Telescope - 37,000 (This unlocks twice for some reason, once when you first start the game and once when you complete Misaki Mission 5/7: Get the "Pure White Bikini")

Likes (grants 2 large hearts worth of Satisfaction):
    • Microphone - 11,000
    • Tapioca Milk Tea - 2,700
Misaki either hates, dislikes or is indifferent to the items not mentioned on this list so don't waste your time and money on giving them to her. If you start having cash flow problems, then try this trick out (Credit to breveglieri for this):

    - Get a USB Drive (or you can upload your save to the cloud if you have PS Plus)
    - Get at least 200K with Owner (ideally, you should start with 400K, see below)
    - Close the game
    - Backup your save file
    - Open the game and go to Casino with Owner
    - Choose Roulette and 100 bet (the maximum)
    - Hold :circle: and start filling all the spaces between 1 and 12 (including the lines between the numbers and first 12)
    - If you're quick enough and the other girls don't bet much, you'll spend around 200K to fill all those spaces before the betting time is over
    - If you win, you'll get something between 500K and 900K
    - If you win, Save and Quit, close the game and backup your save again if you want more money
    - If you lose and still have more than 200K you can try again for another chance
    - If you lose twice in a row or only started with 200K, close the game and restore your backup save

If you're really quick with the menus, you can close the game, restore the save and get to the game again in less than 1 minute

You'll have a 30% chance of making big money, instead of having to deal with all the BS you face with Poker, only to get 100K or less with a really good hand.

Author note: The D-Pad is far more precise and less finicky than the :ls: so use that instead.

Volleyball, Rock Climbing, completing missions and gifting Liked/Loved items in Owner Mode are the fastest way to raise a girl's Satisfaction Rate. You can get a rough idea what Misaki's Satisfaction Rate is, by switching to Owner Mode at anytime by pressing the :touchpad: and highlighting the "Give gift to Misaki" option and looking at the Satisfaction Rate bar at the bottom of the screen:

I also recommend checking the official Twitter feed (LINK) and monitoring the in-game news ticker for news of 2x and 3x XP, Satisfaction and Excitement events so you know when to take advantage of them.
