Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!) (To find boosting partners to organize a trophy boosting session).

The deadly girls are back in this version of Dead or Alive 5, to see who the true champion is of the Dead or Alive tournament. Each fighter has their own back story and reason to become the world's best fighter. Play as your favorite fighter once again in Team Ninja's: Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate to overcome the odds and become a Fighter! Dead or Alive 5 Ultimate is Dead or Alive 5, but with new content and a different trophy list than the original game.

In terms of trophies/difficulty, this trophy list is much easier than the original Dead or Alive 5 trophy list. It can however, be a challenge to those new to the series or to novice players to the fighting game genre. This is why the difficulty is 4/10. However, it is doable. To those that are familiar with fighting games, this platinum won't give you much trouble. Unlike Dead or Alive 5, this trophy list does not require you to complete Survival on Legend difficulty, complete the story, or even grind out 1,000 online games. It's much easier and you'll obtain a majority of the trophies without even going out of your way to earn them. Although the platinum is much easier to obtain, you do have to put some effort into earning it. Your biggest obstacles are to play 100 online games, complete each lesson in tutorial mode to earn A Fighter is Born, and complete all lessons with a single character in Combo challenge to earn Unchallenged Champion. The rest of the trophies can be earned without much effort.

There is a minor nasty bug in the game that can cause you to have issues when on your platinum run: If you have your language set to any other language than English, the game can crash on certain parts of the game, especially lesson 40.9 of the Tutorials mode. Therefore, making it impossible to progress through the tutorial mode. There is a solution however, changing your language to English seems to resolve this issue. You can change your language settings from the main menu; under the "Options" menu, select "Language". From there, set the language to English in the "Menus" and "Voice" tabs. Also bear in mind that some of these descriptions for certain trophies are incorrect. This includes: clearing all courses in Arcade, Time Attack, and Survival as a tag team. You will only need to complete 1 course as a tag team to earn all of these trophies, so the descriptions for these trophies are misleading.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Please bear in mind that both of the trophy lists for Ultimate and Last Round are almost identical. 47 out of the 48 trophies are the same. Because of this, this guide will cover both of these trophy lists. However, one of the trophies for each of these trophy lists are different. These trophies are: Ahhh, Memories (Ultimate), and Throwing In Together (Last Round). Depending what on title you're playing, you will only need to unlock one of these trophies individually depending on the game. Also bear in mind that both the PS3 version of Last Round and Ultimate share the exact same trophy list. Only the PS4 version of Last Round has the Throwing In Together trophy. This also means that you can stack this platinum three times (Ultimate PS3, Last Round PS3, Last Round PS4).

The version of Last Round might also be unplayable at the moment, due to the 1.01 patch. As of right now there is no known fix. However, I will add more info as this story develops. For more information on this matter, click HERE.

The version of Ultimate can also lose your saved data. There is no known workaround to restore all of your Tutorials, Combo Challenges, and Training Commands progress. However, there is a way to restore most of your stats again by backing up your save file:

  • 1: Let the patch download and install.
  • 2: After the game has asked if you want to upload your save to the in-game Cloud (it doesn't mater if you say yes or no), exit back to the XMB.
  • 3: Go to the Save Data Utility and find the "Dead or Alive 5 Last Round" Folder, now delete everything that's in there.
  • 4: Go to where-ever it was you backed up your saves to prior to downloading the patch and copy your save back to the Hard Drive.
  • 5: Load the game again but this time when asked if you want to use your save with the PS4 version of Last Round, say "Yes".

Credit goes to Terminator for this info.

Legend
For the purpose of this game being a fighting game, this guide will have icons of the fighting controls in the game. These icons will be used throughout the course of the Trophy Guide section:

= Punch ()
= Kick ()
= Hold ()
= Throw ()
+ = Both at once ()
+ + = All at once ()
+ = Both at once ()

Step 1: Miscellaneous run.

As weird as it may sound, your first step will be a misc run. Most of the trophies in the game can be earned with very little effort and time. During this step, you will earn a majority of the trophies. You will also play all of the modes that this game has to offer, and win at least one match in every mode. These modes include: Lobby match, Ranked Match, Arcade Solo & Tag, Time Attack Solo & Tag, Survival Solo & Tag, and Versus Solo & Tag; giving you 8 trophies to earn just by winning once (aside from a Versus and a Ranked match where you only have to participate). While earning these trophies, you will also go out of your way to trigger every "Danger Zone", as well as Attack and Block a "Cliffhanger" event. For more information on these trophies, refer to the Trophy Guide section of this guide.

Once you've earned most of these game mode type trophies, you will earn the remaining miscellaneous trophies, such as: viewing movies, replays, Move Details, Move Lists, Spectator mode, etc., as well as view 8 losing poses to earn Failure Teaches Success; and winning a match without taking damage for I Read Every Move.

Upon completing Step 1, you will earn:
Fighting Entertainment

My Fight, My Rules
Get out there and Fight!

Tango Kilo November

Arcade (Solo) Cleared
Arcade (Tag) Cleared

Failure Teaches Success

Step 2: Training Mode & Fight Online 100 Times (Clean up)

During this step: you will play in "Free Training" mode for an hour to earn Training Hard. Not only will you earn this trophy in the process, but you will also accept 10 "Throwdown" matches in the process to earn both You Asked for It! and Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere while playing for an hour. This way you don't have to worry about waiting for a Throwdown invitation later down the line. It also adds to your 100 online games played. Be absolutely sure to set Set "Throwdowns" to "Accept" by pressing to change the throwdown settings from the Free Training menu to "Accept (SOLO MATCH)".

Once you're finished earning these trophies, you will play online 100 times to earn the remaining trophies in this step. Fighting 100 times is actually pretty easy compared to 1,000 in Dead or Alive 5. You can complete this in less than 2 hours with a boosting partner. To organize a boosting session, refer to the Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!).

Upon completing Step 2, you will earn:
You Asked for It!
Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere
Training Hard
Rival Rampage
DOA5 Last Round Is My Life

Step 3: Complete all moves for a character in Command Training; and in Combo Challenge.

This step is where the game becomes more challenging to those that are new to fighting games. During this step: you will complete all challenges in Command Training with any character that you're most comfortable with; as well as in Combo Challenge. Because Tutorial mode forces you to play as Hitomi for most of the tutorial, I highly recommend that you play as her during both of these modes. Not only is she one of the easiest to finish both of these challenges with, but it will also make it easier for you to get more comfortable with her during your Tutorial run. Both of these modes aren't all that challenging, but that will need some perfect timing and knowledge. To see more information on both of these trophies, refer to the Trophy Guide section of this guide.

Upon completing Step 3, you will earn:
A New Challenger Appears!
Exercise Newbie
Unchallenged Champion

Step 4: Complete the Tutorial Mode.

During this final step: you will complete the Tutorial mode. This will be the longest, and probably the most challenging step during your platinum run. There are a total of 42 different Tasks, as well as 217 total lessons. You cannot choose a character as some specific lessons force you to complete with a certain character. However, most of the tutorial requires you to play as Hitomi. This is why it's important to earn Exercise Newbie, and Unchallenged Champion as Hitomi during the previous step. By now you should be comfortable playing as her, and it will make this step much easier. Bear in mind that you can complete every lesson in any order that you want, and you also do not need to complete them all in a single session. For more information, as well as every lesson; refer to the Trophy Guide section for more details.

Upon completing Step 4, you will earn:
Your Education Begins Now
A Fighter is Born

Which will ultimately unlock:
DOA5 Ultimate/Last Round Master

48 trophies ( 12  33  )

  • Unlock all trophies.

Depending on which version of DOA5 you're playing, you will unlock this platinum trophy. Only the name of the trophy changes.

  • Have your first fight outside of Training or Versus modes.

To earn this trophy, simply play your first fight outside of Training. This excludes every other Training mode as well (Free Training, Commando Training, Tutorial, Combo Challenge etc.) or Versus mode. The modes eligible to meet the requirement are:

    • Story
    • Arcade (Solo or Tag, does not matter)
    • Time Attack (Solo or Tag, does not matter)
    • Survival (Solo or Tag, does not matter)
    • Team Fight
    • Rank match
    • Lobby Match

The trophy will unlock as soon as you complete your first game.

  • Register a fighter in your Fighter List.

To earn this trophy, you'll need to register another player onto your "Fighter List". Your Fighter List is where you can instantly challenge other players you play online matches with. This is found in the Online Menu under "Fighter List".

The easiest way to register a player onto your Fighter List, is by creating a Lobby Match and registering another player from your Lobby. To create a Lobby match, select "Create" from the Lobby menu. Wait in the lobby until another player joins your game. Once a player has joined your lobby, press to open the Menu. From the Menu, select "Register In Fighter List" to add them to your list. As soon as they're added to your list, the trophy will unlock.

If no one is entering your lobby, it's probably because the community isn't as active. You can however, boost this trophy by having a friend search for a lobby match from the Lobby menu. You can find boosting partners by using the Trophy Boosting Thread.

  • Fight online.

See DOA5 Ultimate Is My Life for more details.

  • Fight online 10 times.

See DOA5 Ultimate Is My Life for more details.

  • Fight online 100 times.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PATCH 2.00: Patch 2.00 is only available for the Ultimate version of the game. This does not affect those playing Last Round for both the PS3 and PS4 versions. Installing this patch will clear all of your progress towards total online plays, so there is no workaround unfortunately as you'll have to be forced to bypass the patch in order to play online. Luckily 100 plays isn't very time consuming.

In order to unlock this trophy, you must play a total of 100 online matches. Both Ranked and unranked matches count towards plays, so it's much easier to boost with a boosting partner. This can be completed in about two hours if you boost "plays" with an online partner. In order to boost this trophy, you must first send/receive an invite from your boosting partner. You can accept invites by pressing from the Online menu. When you're in the lobby menu with your boosting partner, be sure that the host sets the criteria (rules) to:

    • Rounds - 1
    • Time Limit - 30
    • Wait Time - 1 second
    • Players - 2
    • Private - 1

By setting up your lobby match settings to these limitations, not only will it be faster to complete matches, but random uninvited players will not be able to join your lobby. When you're in the Character Select menu, be sure that both players choose their characters immediately as not doing so will have a 20 second wait until the next match. Also bear in mind that it does not matter if you win or lose, just as long as the match is completed. Be absolutely sure to press after each match so you can continue to boost matches. Not doing so will lead to having to join your partner's lobby again.

Unfortunately, there is no real way to keep track of your total games played online. Any statistic in the "Fight Record" menu are based on both offline and online matches. You can find boosting partners by using the Trophy Boosting Thread.

  • Create your own online lobby.

To create your own lobby you must select Online in the main menu and this will bring you to the online menu. Select the Lobby Match option, move down to the Create option to set up the rules and restrictions for your lobby. When you're finished adjusting the options, push to create the lobby and the trophy will unlock.

  • Play a Lobby match.

In order to play in a Lobby match, you must select the Online option in the main menu to access the online menu. From here, select Lobby Match and either search for existing lobby matches or create your own. When you enter the Lobby Match menu, push to Ready for the match. When all members in the lobby are ready, you will move to the character and stage selection screens. The trophy will unlock when the match finishes regardless of whether or not you won or lost.

  • Play a Ranked match.

In order to play in a Ranked match, you must select the Online option in the main menu to access the online menu. From here, select Ranked Match and this will bring you to the Ranked match search filters where you can adjust connection and ranking options. When you're ready, push to search for a Ranked match. This will take you right into the character and stage selection options when an opponent is found. The trophy will unlock when the match finishes regardless of whether or not you won or lost.

  • Trigger the Special Danger Zone in The Show.

In order to earn this trophy, you must land a "Power Blow" on your opponent towards the Clown in The Show. This Stage has three versions: The Show, The Tiger Show, and Coming Soon. It MUST be The Show however as you'll need to execute the power blow on the clown. Power blows are special moves that every character has, and can only be executed when your health is at 50% or lower. You will know when your health is below 50% as your life bar will start blinking red. You can check each command of a characters specific Power Blow in the Character select menu. In Hitomi's case, her Power Blow is Moen ( + ). You also have to hold down both buttons in order for the Power Blow to trigger.

(The image above shows Hitomi readying her power blow towards the clown's mouth).

The easiest method to earn this solo is in Versus mode. Choose a character and pick "The Show" stage from the Stage Select menu. When the match begins, let your opponent drop your health to 50% or lower. Unlike other Danger Zones, you do not need to do anything special to summon the Clown. When you meet the requirement of dropping to 50% health or lower, execute your Power Blow on your opponent, while facing the clown and you will trigger the special danger zone for this trophy. The trophy will unlock after you've executed the event.

This trophy can also be easily boosted with a boosting partner. Have them drop your health to 50%, then have them idle towards the clown, then execute the power blow while while facing the clown. To organize a boosting session, refer to the Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!).

  • Trigger the Special Danger Zone in Hot Zone.

In order to earn this trophy, you must land a "Power Blow" on your opponent towards the Helicopter in Hot Zone.

(The image above shows Hitomi readying her power blow towards the helicopter in the sky.)

The easiest method to earn this solo is in Versus mode. Choose a character and pick the "Hot Zone" stage from the Stage Select menu. When the match begins, knock your opponent (or let your opponent) onto the red barrel on the left side of the stage. You will know when you've executed the event as the helicopter will shoot a missile at you. This will summon the helicopter. After the helicopter is in place, let your opponent drop your health to 50% or lower. When you meet the requirement, execute your Power Blow on your opponent while facing the helicopter and you will trigger the special danger zone for this trophy. The trophy will unlock after you've executed the event.

This trophy can also be easily boosted with a boosting partner. Have them drop your health to 50%, then have them trigger the missile event. Once you summon the helicopter, execute the power blow while your partner is facing the helicopter. To organize a boosting session, refer to the Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!).

  • Trigger the Special Danger Zone in Sky City Tokyo.

In order to earn this trophy, you must land a "Power Blow" on your opponent towards the Statue in Sky City Tokyo.

(The image above shows your character landing a Power Blow towards the vicious statue).

The easiest method to earn this solo is in Versus mode. Choose a character and pick the "Sky City Tokyo" stage from the Stage Select menu. When the match begins, knock your opponent (or let your opponent) onto the wall at the end of the stage. By breaking this wall, you will summon the statue. After the statue is in place, let your opponent drop your health to 50% or lower. When you meet the requirement, execute your Power Blow on your opponent while facing the statue and you will trigger the special danger zone for this trophy. The trophy will unlock after you've executed the event.

This trophy can also be easily boosted with a boosting partner. Have them drop your health to 50%, then have them move towards the wall. Once you summon the statue, execute the power blow while your partner is leaning towards the statue. To organize a boosting session, refer to the Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!).

  • Set "Throwdowns" to "Accept" and have a Throwdown in Versus, Arcade, or Free Training mode.

See Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere for more details.

  • Set "Throwdowns" to "Accept" and have 10 Throwdowns in Versus, Arcade, or Free Training mode.

NOTICE: The latest patch for Ultimate has removed the invite feature. However, you can still accept Throwdown invites from Free Training. All this means is that you can no longer "boost" this trophy for the Ultimate version.

A Throwdown is a challenge received during Versus, Arcade, or in Free Training mode. While Throwdowns can be accepted during all three modes, you can only adjust whether or not you receive invitations in the main menu before you select any of these three modes. Push to change the Throwdown invitation filters between Accept (Solo or Tag) or Decline. Leave this option on the Accept filter until you obtain the trophy.

In order to accept Throwdown invitations on the PlayStation 3, you must push as the invitation appears on the bottom right hand side of the screen. This will load you into the character selection screen to play out the Throwdown challenge.

In order to easily boost this trophy, start a Lobby Match with a boosting partner and register each other as on your in-game fighters list. The person trying to earn the trophy will leave the online mode and enter into Free Training mode. The other player will go to his Fighters List in the online menu and invite the other player to a throwdown. Do this 10 times per person to earn the trophy.

  • Clear 1 course in Arcade (solo) mode.

From the main menu, select the Fight option followed by the Arcade option. Choose Solo Match and then select the difficulty you wish to play on. You only need to clear it once on any difficulty and Rookie is the easiest and fastest course to clear. Select Rookie and the fighter of your choice. Rookie tasks you to fight against 8 separate opponents and the trophy will unlock after you finish off your 8th unique opponent.

  • Clear 1 course in Arcade (tag) mode.

NOTICE: The trophy description for this trophy inaccurately states that you need to clear all courses, however the trophy will unlock after clearing just 1 course on any difficulty. This trophy description is corrected in Dead or Alive 5 Last Round to state that only 1 course is needed to unlock the trophy. The unlock conditions for both versions are identical.

From the main menu, select the Fight option followed by the Arcade option. Choose Tag Match and then select the difficulty you wish to play on. You only need to clear it once on any difficulty and Rookie is the easiest and fastest course to clear. Select Rookie and the fighters of your choice. Rookie tasks you to fight against 8 separate tag team opponents and the trophy will unlock after you finish off your 8th unique tag team.

  • Clear 1 course in Time Attack (solo) mode.

From the main menu, select the Fight option followed by the Time Attack option. Choose Solo Match and then select the difficulty you wish to play on. You only need to clear it once on any difficulty and Rookie is the easiest and fastest course to clear. Select Rookie and the fighter of your choice. Rookie tasks you to fight against 8 separate opponents without running out of time. You receive 60 seconds per round and 2 rounds per opponent on Rookie. The trophy will unlock after you finish off your 8th unique opponent.

  • Clear 1 course in Time Attack (tag) mode.

From the main menu, select the Fight option followed by the Time Attack option. Choose Tag Match and then select the difficulty you wish to play on. You only need to clear it once on any difficulty and Rookie is the easiest and fastest course to clear. Select Rookie and the fighters of your choice. Rookie tasks you to fight against 8 separate tag teams without running out of time. You receive 99 seconds per fight and 1 round per tag team on Rookie. The trophy will unlock after you finish off your 8th unique opponent.

  • Clear 1 course in Survival (solo) mode.

From the main menu, select the Fight option followed by the Survival option. Choose Solo Match and then select the difficulty you wish to play on. You only need to clear it once on any difficulty and Rookie is the easiest and fastest course to clear. Select Rookie and the fighter of your choice. Rookie tasks you to fight against 10 separate opponents without running out of time. You receive 60 seconds per opponent and you regain a portion of your health before each new opponent. The trophy will unlock after you finish off your 10th unique opponent.

  • Clear 1 course in Survival (tag) mode.

From the main menu, select the Fight option followed by the Survival option. Choose Tag Match and then select the difficulty you wish to play on. You only need to clear it once on any difficulty and Rookie is the easiest and fastest course to clear. Select Rookie and the fighters of your choice. Rookie tasks you to fight against 10 separate opponents in tag team sets without running out of time. You receive 99 seconds per fight and you regain a portion of your health after defeating each opponent. The trophy will unlock after you finish off your 10th unique opponent.

If one member of your tag team dies, you will still be able to progress with your remaining fighter. Note that once a member of your tag team is dead they will not revive between opponents. Remember to manage your health if you have to by switching out team members if needed.

  • Fight a Versus (solo) match.

From the main menu, select the Fight option followed by Versus. Select a Solo Match and choose your preferred character, opponent, and stage. A versus match is a 99 second fight against your opponent with 2 rounds by default. The trophy will unlock after the fight ends regardless of whether or not you win or lose.

  • Fight a Versus (tag) match.

From the main menu, select the Fight option followed by Versus. Select a Tag Match and choose your preferred characters, opposing team, and stage. A versus match is a 99 second fight against your opponent's team with 2 rounds by default. The trophy will unlock after the fight ends regardless of whether or not you win or lose.

  • Play Free Training mode for 1 hour.

In order to enter Free Training mode, you must select Training in the main menu followed by selecting the Free Training option. From here, you can choose whether or not you want to train in a Solo or Tagged match settings. Either one will work as the time you spend in training is cumulative over time. You will likely earn this trophy or at least come close to it while you attempt other trophies on the list, but it is advantageous to leave your Throwdown option to Accept until you earn the Anybody, Anytime, Anywhere trophy. Also bear in mind that this trophy unlocks after you quit the training mode, not during the mode, so be sure to quit after an hour has passed. Total time is also cumulative, meaning that you do not need to play for an hour in one sitting.

  • Complete all moves for a character in Command Training.

This trophy is much, much easier than the original trophy for Dead or Alive 5 where you had to complete all moves for every character in the game. Again, I would recommend using Hitomi as her list isn't very difficult at all. Hitomi's list has 111 moves, but about 90 of them are extremely easy. If you're having issues with any of the moves, I would suggest to press to view a demo of the move. This is very helpful when you want to learn the timing of certain buttons. Also make use of the buttons that you're pressing on the bottom left side of the screen. This is extremely invaluable, because you can see if you're executing the move right or not, while learning from that mistake and being able to master it. Also bear in mind that most of these moves do NOT need to be executed on your opponent, so complete these moves freely. The only type of moves that require you to hit your opponent, are throw and moves where your opponent is on the ground. There are also about 10 moves where you're required to complete while your back is facing your opponent. In order to face your back, press + (), then execute the move. You will need to do this for every attempt that requires you to face your back on your opponent.

(The image above shows Hitomi facing her back from her opponent).

After completing the final move, the trophy will unlock.

  • Play in Tutorial.

See A Fighter is Born for more details.

  • Complete all lessons in Tutorial.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PATCH 2.00: Patch 2.00 is only available for the Ultimate version of the game. This does not affect those playing Last Round for both the PS3 and PS4 versions. Installing this patch will clear all of your progress towards the Tutorials, so be sure to back up your save before loading up the game while having Patch 2.00 installed. If it's already installed, you will have to delete the game unfortunately from your Game Data (physical copy); Game (Digital copy) and play offline without the patch installed.

In order to earn this trophy, you will need to complete all 42 tasks (217 lessons in total). You cannot select any character that you desire, as every lesson will have a specific character to complete the lessons with. This is why I recommended to use Hitomi during most of your platinum run to adjust to her, as most of these lessons will require you to use her. Despite having to complete 217 lessons, most of them are quite easy and require you to do small tasks. Some of these lessons however, can be quite challenging. You can keep track of which lessons you've completed as the title of the lessons will turn green. You can complete each lesson in any order that you desire, and you can quit at any given time. Each lesson also alerts you with a "Note" on what to do whenever you start a lesson. You can review these notes by restarting the lesson from the menu.

  • Played in Combo Challenge.

See Unchallenged Champion for more details.

  • Complete all lessons for a character in Combo Challenge.

IMPORTANT NOTE ABOUT PATCH 2.00: Patch 2.00 is only available for the Ultimate version of the game. This does not affect those playing Last Round for both the PS3 and PS4 versions. Installing this patch will clear all of your progress towards Combo Challenges, so be sure to back up your save before loading up the game while having Patch 2.00 installed. If it's already installed, you will have to delete the game unfortunately from your Game Data (physical copy); Game (Digital copy) and play offline without the patch installed.

In order to earn this trophy, you will need to complete every combo challenge with a single character. Every character has different combos, but they all have 20 to complete. Some of the easiest characters to complete every lesson are: Bass, Leon, Hitomi. I highly recommend that you use Hitomi as you'll have to adjust to using her during Tutorial mode. Because she's the easiest to complete all 20 challenges with, I will list all 20 of her combos as well as a written walkthrough for every combo challenge. Below viewing the walkthrough, here's some things to keep in mind:

    • Most combo challenges have more than one sequence; meaning that you will have to advance onto the next combo. If you fail any of the sequences, then you'll have to restart the combo from the very start.
    • You can select any challenge in any order that you want, just as long as you complete all 20 combo challenges. You can also tell which combo challenges you've completed as the title of the "task" will change from white to green. While in a challenge, you will also see a red check mark indicating that you've completed the specific challenge.
    • You do not need to complete all 20 challenges in one sitting. You can quit at any time and you will save your process.

In order to earn this trophy, you will also need to use your fingers more like a control stick, rather than an actual controller. Use your Index finger to press the button; Use your Middle finger to press the button; and use your Ring finger to press the button. You will have to use those three fingers a lot during some combos, and they're nearly impossible to complete if you're only using your thumb.

    Basic Move (DIFFICULTY 1) 1/3
This move is a little challenging. You must time and hold at the very end of the combo. What makes it most difficult is timing the forward and holding to complete the challenge.

    Basic Move (DIFFICULTY 1) 2/3
Quite easy. Simply throw your enemy to complete this challenge.

    Basic Move (DIFFICULTY 1) 3/3
Another easy challenge. Just be sure to hold both + at the same time in a Northeast direction.

Combo performed on a downed opponent (DIFFICULTY 1)
Another easy, but tricky challenge. Hold both + in a Southeast direction. What makes this tricky is that you'll have to use two different fingers to complete. I prefer using my thumb to press the button, and my index finger to press the button at the same time.

    Juggle (DIFFICULTY 2) 1/5
The first sequence is easy, just kick in the direction that the screens shows you. Now for the second sequence: be sure to do the second combo when your opponent is in the air! Otherwise you'll have to start the combo from the start. The last sequence is a bit tricky. Your main focus is timing the forward just after the second ; then immediately pressing shortly after. Press as fast as you can after that forward .

    Juggle (DIFFICULTY 2) 2/5
The first sequence is simple: just press in a Northeast direction. The second sequence is also very simple, but a bit challenging. Just be sure to wait about 1 second to advance onto the second sequence by pressing Back + . You will have to use two fingers as well, so be sure to use your Middle finger for the first sequence, and both your Index and Ring finger for the second sequence. This will make getting to the third sequence much easier. The third sequence is VERY similar to the first Juggle challenge. What makes it challenging is timing the right after the Forward . You have to be quick in order to complete the challenge. Also bear in mind that you must finish the third sequence when Hitomi in facing the opponent from behind.

    Juggle (DIFFICULTY 3) 3/5
The first two sequences are pretty easy to master. Be sure to time the second sequence immediately after the first sequence. The third sequence can be a bit tricky, but you can delay about a second until you break the combo. Use your Index and Ring finger to push + at the same time, about a second after the second sequence. Now the final sequence is the hardest because you have to focus on timing the Back while your opponent is in the air. You get about half a second to time this so you must be very efficient on your timing. What makes it worse, is that you'll have to button mash right after that Back . You will have to be fast as well, but the upside is that you can button mash right after that kick without worrying about pressing more than 4 times. You must also hit your opponent with the 4th before she hits the ground, which is why it's important to time the Back followed by button mashing as fast as you can.

    Juggle (DIFFICULTY 3) 4/5
The first two sequences are fairly easy. Be sure that you only press twice, however on the second sequence, followed by Forward . Don't have the habit of button mashing and you can also delay on it towards the . The third sequence can be difficult if you don't time it right. Delay about half a second until you start the third sequence. You will know when the timing is right as you'll see your opponent holding her stomach gasping for air. The final sequence is the most challenging to complete. You will have to hit your opponent while she's in mid air, so wait about half a second before you hit her with the first . Remember not to button mash and only twice, followed by . The final two can be button mashed but your main focus is pressing the 3rd just after the first two punches.

    Juggle (DIFFICULTY 3) 5/5
This is probably the first real challenge that will take some skill. Keep two things in mind: 1. The second and third sequence start off with rotating your about a full clockwise rotation starting from the front (), and ending at the top (). Be sure to do that every time without rushing the next commands as it's a whole command itself. After you've mastered that, press , followed by quickly and rotate your in the same direction for the third sequence. Getting to the third sequence is not that difficult, it's finishing the fourth sequence that can be challenging. You must be VERY efficient without button mashing. Press x2, x2, followed by a . What makes this challenging is that you have to do this very quickly after the 3rd sequence, and without button mashing any of the buttons. I would recommend to first practice on pressing x2, followed by x2; that way you can master the pattern of pressing both these buttons twice.

Pressing x2 immediately after the third sequence can also make the final sequence much easier.

    Combo from a hold (DIFFICULTY 3) 1/2
This challenge is actually quite easy. Just be sure to use your three fingers (Index, Middle, Ring) as the third sequence will need you to press + at the same time.

The first sequence is easy; just press + right before your opponent kicks you to block her attack. The second sequence is actually quite easy as well. Just be sure to do the combo right after the counter. Also bear in mind that if you break your combo, you will have to hit your opponent at least once in order for her to attack you again. The last sequence has to be completed while she's on the ground, so do it shortly after the second sequence. The only real tricky part is using two of fingers for both and .

    Combo from a hold (DIFFICULTY 3) 2/2
This challenge is mildly difficult, but not so bad. Your main focus is the timing on all three sequences. The first sequence is easy, just be sure to time the counter right. The second sequence is important to finish while your opponent is still in mid air. The final sequence can be challenging if you have the habit of button mashing. You also have to complete it before your opponent hits the ground, which is why it's important to hit her with the first two just after the second sequence. The final sequence is also somewhat long, so be fast without button mashing the first three 's. Also bear in mind that holding down will break the combo. You'll know when you're holding as your controller will vibrate, so it's important to only press the five times without button mashing.

    Power Blow Combo (DIFFICULTY 3)
This challenge combo is actually quite easy. Be sure to Rotate the clockwise starting from , and stopping at , followed by pressing the rest of the first sequence. The second sequence can be done by just pressing ( + ), but it makes the final sequence much harder. That's why I recommend to press + manually with two fingers instead. Right after the second sequence, be sure to hold down + for about half a second let letting go to finish the final sequence. You don't want to hold it for too long or Hitomi won't reach her opponent and you're break the combo.

    Wall Combo (DIFFICULTY 3)
This challenge is actually quite easy. Just be sure to have your opponent leaning against a wall for the first sequence. After the first from the second sequence, button mash to complete the combo.

    Stage Combo (DIFFICULTY 3)
This challenge is also easy, but a bit tricky. Your main focus is timing the three 's to finish the combo. Rotate the : counter-clockwise starting from the of the analog stick, and stopping at the , followed by . You need to pay attention to your opponent. As soon as she hits the ground, execute the final sequence to complete the combo. Do not wait until she bounces back into the air as the timing will be too late. If you fail the combo, you can always restart the challenge from the menu that way your opponent and restart from the Ring of Fire.

Critical Burst Combo (DIFFICULTY 4) 1/3
There are six sequences in this combo, so this will be your first long combo. The first three sequences should be not be a challenge at all. The last three however, should be the ones that you have to time very well. Just after the third sequence when you uppercut your opponent into the air, you're going to want to complete sequences four & five as fast as you can because you will need your opponent in the air to complete the final combo.

Critical Burst Combo (DIFFICULTY 4) 2/3

This combo can be quite challenging, but there's a great trick to it: The first sequence requires you to press + () at the same time. For this sequence, just press instead. The first six sequences should all be executed about a second before the next sequence. The last sequence is the only sequence that needs the timing to be fast after the sixth. It's not very difficult, but just have the habit of pressing + rather than the button on the final combo that way you can reach the final much faster.

The last two sequences should also be executed in a single consecutive motion:
Think of the last and second to last sequences as one long sequence. That's how fast you need to execute it. If you wait for the "bling" sound from the second to last sequence, you'll fail the combo.

Credit goes to Ryukori for this info.

Critical Burst Combo (DIFFICULTY 4) 3/3
The first sequence should be executed very slowly into the second sequence. The second sequence should wait about a second into the third. After the third, the timing should be about half a second into the end of the combo. The final sequence isn't so hard on the timing, but it's very easy to fail the combo because of having the habit to button mash . This last sequence does not need to be executed too fast, so take your time and press , followed by . It does take some timing, but the entire combo is consistent apart from the first sequence where you can execute it slow onto the second.

    Power Launcher Combo (DIFFICULTY 4)
The first two moves in the combo are the most difficult uncomfortably because you need to crouch slide. The challenge starts you at 50% health which is when you'll be able to use power launcher moves. From your left side starting position, push down and forward twice in quick succession to move into a quick crouch slide and then hold ( + ) to launch your opponent into the air. Immediately begin the next move with another crouch slide ending in a . The end of this move will connect as your opponent is falling to lift them back into the air and slow the fall. Don't wait, push back and twice. Finally, Back on the D-Pad and then mash three more times to victory. The combo ends and your opponent will finally land on the ground to end your combo.

Combo vs. featherweight character (DIFFICULTY 4)
The first sequence is probably the most annoying because of the first button with the analog stick. After you've done that, quickly press , , without waiting for the second sequence. Once you've mastered advancing onto the second sequence, the rest should be easy until the final sequence where you'll have to execute the final combo fast before your opponent touches the ground.

Tag Combo (from Hitomi) (DIFFICULTY 5)
I personally recommend using the D-Pad for this combo for the sake of reaction time. To start off, roll your thumb over the down button toward the left and quickly hit , , and burst tag Ein in by rolling your thumb down and left hitting ( + + ). Immediately Northwest diagonal and tag back to Hitomi with ( + + ). Hit Left D-Pad and at the same time and follow it with another . Start with another Left D-Pad and follow it up quickly with 4 successive . Literally count out four. Do not button mash the finish. The key here is to position yourself close to Kasumi and just pay attention to the move sets you have to preform. once you get the tags down, it's really about timing that last combo finish with Hitomi and then you're done.

  • Do 10 different character-specific tag throws.

In order to earn this trophy, you will have to execute 10 unique tag throws. What this means is that you'll have to do 10 different moves while tagging your partner into the game. In order to execute a tag throw, press , , + + () to tag your partner into the match in an attacking fashion. Do 10 different tag throws to unlock this trophy. There are more than 50 unique tag throws so the requirement is not too difficult.

Start a match in Versus mode, and pick two different characters. Your opponents do not matter, so you can choose the same opponents as many times as you'd wish. Since Last Round has every DLC character unlocked (Honoka, Marie Rose, Nyotengu, Raidou etc.), you'll have a bigger variety to perform 10 unique tag throws. Be sure to always use different characters every time, and you'll unlock this with very little effort as there are 34 characters in total, but this does not mean that every character has a different tag throw with every character. Pretty much every character that has some sort of relationship with another character from the main story has some type of unique tag throw. Below is a list of some of the more common character tag teams that have a unique tag throw:

    • Hitomi + Leifang
    • Elliot + Brad Wong
    • Tina + Bass
    • Sarah + Akira
    • Ayane + Ryu Hayabusa
    • Kasumi + Ayane
    • Ryu Hayabusa + Kasumi
    • Rig + Jann Lee
    • Christie + Helena
    • Mila + Tina
    • Zack + Hitomi

After you've successfully executed your 10th unique tag throw, the trophy will unlock.

  • Successfully land a Power Blow.

In order to land a "Power Blow", you will first need to have your health dropped at 50% or less. You can can tell when your health is below 50%, as your health bar will start blinking red. Each character has a Power Blow, and you can check the move for the specific character in the Character Select Menu. Hitomi's Power Blow is once of the easiest, so I'll describe hers in this description. In order to execute her power blow, you must hold both + (), until your character executes the move. You will know if it's done right as your controller will vibrate. Also bear in mind that you only have one opportunity to execute a power blow; so if you miss, you will have to restart. Upon executing your first power blow, the trophy will unlock.

  • Successfully deliver a Power Launcher.

This trophy is somewhat similar to Blow 'Em Away, only that you need to land a "Power Launcher" move instead. Your health needs to be below 50% (just like a power blow), and you can also view the command from the Character Select Menu. In Hitomi's case, her move (Tensho) is , , + (). You will also have to hold down the + () buttons until your character executes the launch. Hitomi's move is like an uppercut, so be sure to execute the move while being close to your opponent. The trophy will unlock after you execute the power launcher.

  • Press H+P+K during a Power Blow to tag in a partner and deliver a Tag Power Blow.

This trophy is just like Blow 'Em Away, but only that you'll have to "tag" your partner instead. The only way to be able to earn this trophy, is in "Tag Mode". Choose Tag Mode from the Versus menu, and choose four characters for the match. As soon as your character executes a Power Blow, press + + () to tag in your partner. Also bear in mind that both of your characters must have their health below 50% to execute the tag during a power blow. The trophy will unlock upon a successful tag power blow.

  • Successfully attack during a Cliffhanger.

In order to earn this trophy, you will have to attack your opponent during a cliffhanger event. The easiest stage that has this specific event, is Scramble. Bear in mind that there are two versions of this stage. Choose the first stage as you'll start off at the top of the stage, rather than the street version of the stage. In order to trigger this event, you will have to throw your enemy onto the yellow metal bars at the ledge of the stage. Doing this will knock them over and open access to the ledge of the cliffhanger. After you have access, hit your opponent once again for them to hang off the ledge. Bear in mind that if you're facing a CPU, they have a chance of not hanging onto the ledge and falling onto the street instead, which is why I recommend to boost this with a partner, or with an additional second controller. In order to hang off the ledge, the player getting knocked down will have to press () to successfully hang on the ledge. Failure to do so will result in falling onto the street.

(The image above show's Hitomi attacking Leifang, hanging from the ledge to her death).

Once your opponent is hanging off the ledge, press () to successfully execute an attack. If you're playing against a CPU, they have a chance to block the attack, so it's highly recommended to attempt this with a second controller by yourself, or with a boosting partner. You can do this by just having the person hanging off the ledge idle while the other player executes an attack. The trophy will unlock upon a successful attack after the cliffhanger event.

  • Successfully block an opponent's attack during a Cliffhanger.

This trophy is somewhat similar to the Down You go trophy, only that you'll be blocking an attack instead. In order to earn this trophy, you will have to block your opponents attack during a cliffhanger event. The easiest stage that has this specific event, is Scramble. Bear in mind that there are two versions of this stage. Choose the first stage as you'll start off at the top of the stage, rather than the street version of the stage. In order to trigger this event, have your opponent throw you onto the yellow metal bars at the ledge of the stage. Doing this will knock them over and open access to the ledge of the cliffhanger. After you have access, have your opponent knock you over once again for you to hang off the ledge. Once you're rolling off the ledge, immediately press () to successfully hang on the ledge. Failure to do so will result in falling onto the street.

(The image above show's Hitomi successfully blocking an attack during a Cliffhanger event).

Once you're hanging off the ledge, press () to successfully block an attack. If you're playing against a CPU, they have a chance to counter your block, so it's highly recommended to attempt this with a second controller by yourself, or with a boosting partner. You can do this by just having the person attacking you press () just once, and have the player hanging off the ledge block it. The trophy will unlock after you block an attack after the cliffhanger event.

  • Win without taking any damage.

This trophy can be quite challenging if you try to earn it legitimately, however, you can earn it with little effort. Start a solo match from the versus menu, from there adjust the CPU difficulty to 2 from the "COM LEVEL" option. This will make the CPU less likely to attack you. With this method, you should have little issues with completing a match without taking any damage.

You can also earn this with a second controller and leave one of your characters idle, while the other player damages the idle player. You can also boost this trophy by having your boosting partner not attack you until you complete the match. The trophy will unlock after the match ends. To organize a boosting session, refer to the Trophy Boosting Thread (Read First Post!).

  • See 8 characters' losing poses.

Note About Last Round: The version of Last Round actually requires you to see 8 "losing poses", while the Ultimate version is 10.

This trophy is quite simple; all you have to do to meet the requirement is lose 8 times. There is no way to skip the losing animation. However, you will have to lose 8 times in versus mode. Change the CPU difficultly to 8 from the "COM Level" option located in the "Fight Settings" menu just before you start a versus match. Doing so will make the CPU defeat you much faster. Choose 8 different characters and lose 8 times. The trophy will unlock after your 8th loss from a different character.
