Introduction:

Set in a voxel atmosphere, De-Exit follows a Lux, a spirit that has entered the afterlife at the same time a guardian has moved on, giving them the ability to wield the ancient guardian powers. Equipped with only an ancient artifact and the potential for greatness, you will need to power up the artifact and learn new abilities until you're ready to take on Donovan, a once loyal Guardian whose exile has all but doomed the world. As what can only be described as a platform-adventurer, De-Exit offers a wide range of variety in the trophies available, though the majority of them are missable. There is no chapter select available in the game so if you miss a Soul Fragment or a piece of Guardian Armor somewhere along the way, a new playthrough will be required to get it. The trophy progress does not carry over across new games. Everything needs to be collected in one playthrough for their respective trophies to unlock.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through the game while going for all collectibles and missable trophies

All of the trophies can be earned in one playthrough, though you'll need to make sure you're keeping track of your collectibles along the way. Every chapter will have at least one miscellaneous/missable trophy (including the Prologue), but only Chapters 1-5 will have the Soul Fragments, Guardian Armor, and Fallen Guardians. The game relies solely on autosave (there is no manual save) and where the save actually happens can feel a bit random at times. With that being said, though, it works out in your favor since all of the missable trophies (outside of collectibles) will have an autosave right before they take place. If you fail the requirements (die, don't get caught, etc), you can easily just close out the game app and start it back up to try again. Alternatively, you can backup your save file before each of these trophies for added insurance, but it's nowhere near required. The collectibles will be the hardest part of the game, especially since there is very little mention of what you actually need to collect for the trophies. Using the guides provided under May they rest in peace. trophy_gold.png and This should never have happened! trophy_silver.png will significantly reduce your platinum time, especially with the Soul Fragments. While individual walkthrough videos of each chapter have been provided under their respective trophies, a full platinum walkthrough can also be found here if you prefer to use video only

Once you have finished the game (and this step), you will have earned all of the trophies. They will unlock in roughly the following order ( Your artifact is almost done! trophy_bronze.png can be earned before Be careful with them! trophy_bronze.png):

  • Unlock all trophies.

Unlock all of the other trophies to earn this platinum.
  • Complete the Prologue

    Story Related

The Prologue is the section at the very start of the game. As what is essentially the tutorial, players will go through the basics of how to move, crouch, and overall how to play the game. Asem and Donovan will also be introduced with the latter meeting marking the end of the prologue. The trophy will unlock as you make your way through the portal after meeting him.

During this section, look out for the following trophies (both of which are missable). They are listed in the order in which they can be earned:
If you're having any trouble with this section, a walkthrough video has been provided under Ready for your journey? trophy_silver.png (the video includes both the Prologue and Chapter 1).

  • Complete Chapter 1

    Story Related

Chapter 1 will take place all in the Nexus. You'll be coming back here a few times throughout the game, but this will be your first chance to look around and meet the folks around town. The main goal for this section will be to retrieve and activate a Guardian artifact which will grant you more abilities to use as you progress through the game. Once you've finished the artifact and have stepped through the final portal, the trophy will unlock. If you're having any trouble with any part of this chapter, a walkthrough video has been provided below.

During this section, look out for the trophies/collectibles listed below (all of which are missable). Make sure you do You're a good neighbour! trophy_silver.png as soon as possible since you can block yourself from getting it if you progress too far into the Chapter. They are listed in the order they can be earned.
You will also earn Your artifact is almost done! trophy_bronze.png during this chapter, but it's story related and cannot be missed. You can also start working on Knowledge does not take up space! trophy_gold.png, but it's best to just wait until Chapter 4 when all the books required for the trophy are available.

  • Complete Chapter 2

    Story Related

In Chapter 2, you will start in the Nexus where you'll learn the Light Break ability. Afterward, you will be tasked with locating Nemete and his crew and then helping them get back to the Nexus. The main component of this section will be slipstreams that you "swim" in to travel from island to island as you activate 3 windmills and restore power to the area. After you make your way up the final tower and escape the serpent boss, go through the final portal to unlock the trophy. If you're having any trouble with this chapter, a video guide has been provided below.

During this section, look out for the trophies/collectibles listed below (all of which are missable). They are listed in the order you can pick them up (collectibles) or earn them (trophies).

  • Complete Chapter 3

    Story Related

Chapter 3 will start in the Nexus where you will learn the Light Ray ability which allows you to move objects containing magneralium. If an item can be moved, it will glow blue when the Light Ray is active. While she's working on your artifact, Mini will send you off to help Karamona¹, and eventually to the Crying Woods. Once you arrive, you'll need to rescue 6 NPCs so they can help unlock the door blocking the way forward and then escape the large panther to reach the final portal. Once you go through the portal, the trophy will unlock. If you're having any trouble with this chapter, a video guide has been provided below.

During this section, look out for the trophies/collectibles listed below (all of which are missable). They are listed in the order you can pick them up (collectibles) or earn them (trophies).

¹. If you're playing on PS4, there's a chance the boxes required to help Karamona will be glitched. They're supposed to appear on the high ledge, but instead will be hidden in the actual stairs leading to the door blocking Karamona in. You can still grab them with your Light Ray, it'll just be a little funky trying to get them out.
  • Complete Chapter 4

    Story Related

In Chapter 4, you won't be learning any new skills, but you will be sent off to the Iskandireyya Desert. Boris will meet you there and go over the basics of this section (how to change the sun's position, etc), after which you'll eventually reach the survival camp. From here, you need to gain access to the Temple by using mirrors to activate pillars. Once you end up "in" the Temple, you'll go through a series of nightmare/box puzzles where this chapter's boss sequence will take place. Once you go through the exit portal, the trophy will unlock. If you're having any trouble with this chapter or get stuck on any of the puzzles, a walkthrough video has been provided below.

During this section, look out for the trophies/collectibles listed below (all of which are missable). They are listed in the order you can pick them up (collectibles) or earn them (trophies).
  • Complete Chapter 5

    Story Related

In Chapter 5, you will gain the Light Form ability which allows you to ride along mine tracks, float on corruption spots, and dash across gaps/into objects. The main section of this chapter will take place inside Hollow Mountain. Working on one at a time, you'll need to restore power to generators to get a lift up to the top of the mountain where the rest of the survival team will be waiting for you. The final climax of the chapter will be the fight with Kali which, thank the trophy heavens, does not have a no-death trophy associated with it. Once you go through the final portal after Kali, the trophy will unlock. A walkthrough video has been provided below if you get stuck or need any help with the train puzzles in this chapter.

During this section, look out for the trophies/collectibles listed below (all of which are missable). They are listed in the order you can pick them up (collectibles) or earn them (trophies).
  • Sneak from the enemies in the Prologue without being caught.

    Missable

After meeting Asem during the Prologue, you will gain the ability to use Light Eye which, of its many uses, will reveal hidden enemies when the light shines on them. Shortly after gaining the ability, you'll come to your first section with hidden enemies (there will be a short cutscene that plays out once you enter the area). Using the tall grass and/or columns around the area, you need to make your way through all of the enemies without being caught. Thankfully, getting caught does not mean being seen in this scenario. The hidden enemies will need to physically catch you and end your run to null the trophy. If you are seen, crouch and hide in the tall grass or behind a large object to get away (wait for the red danger meter to turn white/disappear). Make it up to and through the door in the back of the area to unlock the trophy.

Save File: If you want an extra bit of insurance for the trophy, backup your save file after you meet Asem and get the Light Eye ability. That way if you happen to fail to get past the enemies, you can try again by downloading your save file. If you don't want to do this, you can try just closing the game app as soon as you get caught and starting it back up. The autosave will put you back at the start of the section where you can try again.
  • Solve the priest puzzle.

The priest puzzle is story related. You will solve it in Chapter 1 as you're working on activating the artifact for Mimi. After you've helped Karamona, he'll send you up the lift in the Nexus to find the priest Ankara. Here, you'll need to complete a lever puzzle to help get Anakara to the top of a few platforms so she can drop down boxes for you to use on the pressure plates on the ground. When all 4 pressure plates are turned on, climb to the top of the platforms and interact with the console to activate the artifact as well as unlock the trophy. If you prefer to use a video guide for this, one has been provided below.

When you have to flip the levers to move the platforms, interact with them in the following order to create the paths for Ankara (number the levers 1-4/5 going left to right) :
    • 1st Lever Set: 2 - 3 - 1 - 2
    • 2nd Lever Set: 1 - 2 - 3 - 1
    • 3rd Lever Set: 2 - 3
  • Don't die during the chase of Chapter 2.

    Missable

The chase sequence you need to live through will be the first chase section with the serpent when you reach the tower the first time (after you've restored power using the 3 Windmills). You will need to use slipstreams to run from it until eventually, a whale comes to help. This wouldn't be too bad if the slipstreams themselves weren't a bit on the unresponsive side, especially during this section. Just make sure you're pressing as forward as you can in the direction the Lux is actually facing so you're "swimming" as fast as possible. If you need a visual reference for this part, please see the video walkthrough provided under Has something changed? trophy_silver.png. Once you've completed the chase without dying, the trophy will unlock.

Save File: If you want to reduce your chances of missing the trophy, you can backup your save file right before the chase sequence starts (after activating the lift but before riding in the Slipstream). If you don't want to backup your save, you can close the game as soon as you get caught (if you do) and reload the game. You will start back at the lift and can try again. If you let the death sequence play out or if it puts you back at the start of the chase before you can close the game, you will be blocked out of getting this trophy and will need to start a new playthrough to get it.
  • Don't die during the boss of Chapter3.

    Missable

The boss in Chapter 3 will be the large Panther you come face to face with after opening the large door in the Forest (it will require all 6 NPCs to be rescued). You need to sneak through the entire section and help River and Imdeeo reach the final pressure plate that opens the Temple. This will be a baiting boss fight essentially.

When the Panther slams its paw on the ground, it will send out a shockwave that will mark where you were when the wave hit you. The Panther will then make its way to the mark while moving its head back and forth, patrolling the area within the light cone shining from his eyes. Move away from the mark while avoiding the light and work on moving forward when you can. If the Panther gets ready to slam on the ground again, move away from where you actually need to be so the scent mark attracts away from that area, allowing you to progress forward.

Once you move the cable car with Imdeeo and River on it, a small cutscene will play out and the trophy will unlock. For a visual reference on what to do, please reference the video provided below.

Save File: As before, if you want to backup your save file as an added insurance to not miss the trophy, you can do so. Exit the game and backup the save file after you have rescued all 6 NPCs (before you open the door). If you don't want to backup your file, you can exit the game as soon as you get caught (if you do) and start the app back up. Either method you choose will start you just before you unlock the large door. If you are collecting the Guardian Armor pieces on this playthrough, you will need to pick the armor up again if you reloaded the game/downloaded your save fileMake absolute sure the Lux is wearing the leg pieces before opening the door. This is a very easy way to block yourself from getting Now you look like a Guardian! trophy_gold.png.

  • Complete the puzzle within a limited time frame.

    Missable

This will be earned in Chapter 4. When you locate the survival camp in the desert, Kasago will task you with opening the Temple door by using mirrors to activate 4 pillars. One of the puzzle rooms for the mirrors can be all but skipped, which is what you'll need to do for this trophy. When you reach the sundial in the middle of the mirror rooms, change it to Setting 2 if it's not already on it. Look off to the side to find a mirror that you can rotate using your Light Break ability. Rotate the mirror so it's facing the sensor plate on the left wall:

You will need to complete the next section in roughly 5 minutes or less. The timer will start as soon as the door opens. Go back to the sundial and change it to Setting 1 to open the door. Once inside, use your Light Ray to grow the box directly in front of you and then pull the bar on the central pillar all the way out to open the gate to the lever. Once you let go, you need to quickly climb up the ladder, jump to the next platform, and then use the large box to jump to the central lever.

The jumping on this part is very tight and there's really not much room for error. When jumping between the 1st and 2nd platforms, try and jump just a tad late (almost as if your final step is practically stepping off the platform) and you should make a clean landing. Once you pull the central lever, the timer will stop and the trophy will unlock.

Save File: If you want to backup your save file to give yourself some insurance, do so when you climb out of the mine (if you're wearing the Safety Hat, this is where it flies off). Otherwise, keep a clock nearby and if it starts to exceed a few minutes, close the game app and load it back up. It should start you back at the ladder you climbed to get out of the mine.

  • Activate all panels in the temple entrance of Chapter 5 without touching the snowy ground.

    Missable.

This will be earned at the very start of Chapter 5, but make sure you earn That's what the fox says! trophy_silver.png (if you do not already have it) before starting this one. The fox requires you to walk in the snow which will null out this trophy so get that one done first.

In Chapter 5, you will learn the Light Form ability which allows you to slide on rails and dash across gaps and into items. At the start of the chapter, you'll need to open up a large door by dashing into switches located around the door. With the exception of the first switch, they will all be on platforms/above the ground, so you need to get them all without falling, essentially. When you dash into the first switch, a small cutscene will play out that may cause you to drop into the snow without your control. This is okay. When you regain control, don't run and instead, use your Light Form ability to float over to the lift to take you up to the higher platform. As long as you don't run through the snow after the cutscene drops you in it, you should be good to go. Take your time and just make your way around the wooden platforms and activate the remaining panels. Once the final one has been hit, you will drop down to the snowy ground and the trophy will unlock.

Save File: If you want to backup your save file make sure you don't miss this one, back it up at the very start of the chapter. If you don't want to back up a save, you can exit the game app as soon as you fall or touch the snow and then load the game back up. It'll start you back at the very beginning of chapter 5.

  • Find a soul fragment.

Please see May they rest in peace. trophy_gold.png for the location of all the Soul Fragments in the game.
  • Find all soul fragments.

    Highly Missable

There are 15 soul fragments to find, with chapters 1-5 having 3 each. When you find all 3 soul fragments in a chapter, a Guardian door will unlock that houses a tomb with the Guardian armor. There will be 1 piece of armor for each soul fragment chapter, so a total of 5 pieces. Due to there being no chapter select available, you really want to make sure you're picking up everything as you go to avoid having to do additional playthroughs. Your progress toward this trophy (as well as Now you look like a Guardian! trophy_gold.png) does not carry over across playthroughs.

The locations of the soul fragments as well as the Guardian armor are as follows:

    Chapter 1: An Unexpected Visitor

While you will come back to the Nexus throughout the game, you will need to get these during Chapter 1. One of the fragments will become inaccessible after leaving the Nexus the first time.

Soul Fragment 1: Asem will point this one out during a cutscene. While in the central fountain area, look for a ladder in one of the corners that leads up to the rooftops. At the top will be a crate you can move to reach the fragment.

Soul Fragment 2: From the central fountain, look for the large merchant stand in one of the corners. Go past the stairs behind the stand and on the left will be a small area with an NPC and a... cat?... sitting in front of a small house. On the far side of the small area is a tapestry hanging down with a crate below it. Move the crate and crouch under the tapestry to find a hidden room. Inside will be a note (optional) as well as the fragment.

Soul Fragment 3: Ride the lift up to where the Priest is and immediately turn right at the top. Off the right side of the wall will be a scaffolding you can climb up to reach a vine wall. Climb up the vine wall to reach the fragment.

Guardian Door (Fallen Guardian Armor - Bracers) - Looks good on you! trophy_bronze.png: The door leading to the armor is behind the Library. There will be an NPC standing just in front of it. Interact with the coffin inside to pick up the Guardian Bracers.

    Chapter 2: Under the Surface

Fragment 1: At the very start of the chapter, turn around and run into the tall grass to find the fragment hidden behind the entrance portal.

Note: You can earn Watch out! trophy_silver.png between these 2 fragments.

Fragment 2: After going up the first lift and through the next door, you'll be in a large area with a few hidden enemies roaming around. On the left will be a broken house that you can climb up. Make your way up and over the building and down into some grass on the other side. Carefully move forward to break some crates on the left and crouch under the wall they were blocking (shown in the image below). Go around the building on the left to find a ladder and climb up it. Follow the path across some rooftops and you'll eventually reach a roof you can jump to that has the fragment.

Fragment 3: When you have to activate the 3 Windmills to restore power on the islands, the fragment will be on an island with one of the windmills. When you first arrive on the island with Sinestezina, take the leftmost slipstream. On the backside of the island is a ladder leading down to a small platform with the fragment on it. Use the slipstream next to it to get back up once you've collected it.

Guardian Door (Guardian Armor - Shoulders): After the first chase sequence with the Serpent (where you can earn By the skin of your teeth! As if you had any. trophy_silver.png), go inside the temple and immediately turn left. There will be some vines on the wall that you can climb down to reach the door on the bottom floor. Interact with the coffin inside the tomb to collect the armor piece.

    Chapter 3: Shattered Roots

There will be 1 Soul Fragment in each of the 3 areas you need to complete to rescue the NPCs.

Fragment 1: In the area with Zan and Florence. As you're making your way through the wooden platforms where you need to move the boxes onto the pressure plates, progress forward until you've placed the final block so Zan and Florence can access the exit platform. Before going onto the platform with them, cross over the moveable platforms you used the boxes to raise up (the ones Zan and Florence had to cross) and the fragment will be at the very end of the wooden pathway.

Fragment 2: This one can be found in the section with Imdeeo and River. As soon as you meet them, look past them and you should be able to see a moveable platform just on the ledge beyond the cliff. Use this platform to cross along the side of the cliffside and follow the path through the dark matter and to the end to find the fragment.

Fragment 3: Near the end of the section with Fufito and Nisa, you will need to use moveable boxes and your body weight to activate some pressure plates that activate a bridge. You will be able to see the fragment from this section and can technically reach it from here, but just ignore it for now. When Fufito and Nisa cross the bridge, they'll move a crate to open a hole you can crouch through. On the other side will be a cabin that can be accessed by a ladder. Stand under the ladder and Fufito will automatically step on the pressure plate to lower it. Climb up and break the boxes and wall to the right using your Light Break ability. The fragment will be just on the other side of where the wall was.

Guardian Door (Guardian Armor - Legs): After collecting all 3 fragments (and in turn rescuing all 6 NPCs), go behind the waterfall in the main area (before opening the large door) to find the tomb. Interact with the coffin inside to collect the armor.

    Chapter 4: Burning Souls

Fragment 1: When you reach the first sundial (and Boris) where you can change the sun's position, you will need to change it to Setting 2 to progress with the story. After changing it, go back the way you came (through the pool and columns) and look for some ruins off to the left. The fragment is on the far side of these ruins. Carefully use the shadows of the columns to get to it.

Fragment 2: When you reach the 2nd pool with a sundial on top, change it to Setting 2 to raise some platforms up, creating shadows that you can run across. Run across the shadows and you'll reach another sundial with a large scaffolding-like structure behind it. Change the Sundial to Setting 1 and climb up to the top of the scaffolding to find the fragment on the far side.

Fragment 3: After you find the survivors' camp, you'll need to make your way through some Mines to reach the Temple (these are the same Mines where you can earn Safety first! trophy_silver.png). After riding the first platform around, you'll need to use a sundial to open up the door forward. Once inside, you should be able to see the fragment up on the wooden walkway. To reach it, first, move the plank (Light Ray) to connect the 1st and 2nd platforms (numbered in the image below). Climb up the ladder to the sundial and change it to Setting 1. Climb up the central ladder and cross over the makeshift bridge. Once on the other side, move the plank to create a bridge leading to the fragment.

Guardian Door (Guardian Armor - Belt): From the previous fragment, you will need to change the sundial to Setting 2 to leave the area. When you climb up the ladder to get out of the well, you will need to quickly run across some blue platforms to get into the next shadow section. Directly ahead of you will be the Guardian Door you need to open to get to the armor. This can only be accessed when the dial is on Setting 2. Interact with the coffin inside to pick up the Guardian Belt.

    Chapter 5: From the Ashes

Fragment 1: In the first mine area where you have to repair the 3 track parts (left, up, and right), the fragment will be found in the left section. The objective of this puzzle in general will be to get a piece of track all the way up and to the right so it connects to the exit tracks. To the right of where the track is supposed to go will be the fragment in the wall. You will need to turn the track so it leads to the fragment, then use the walls to jump onto the track and slide into the fragment. Probably sounds confusing, right? Yeah. Trying to explain how to do this in text will most likely make things even more confusing and for that reason, please reference the collectible video provided above for how to get the track into the correct position for this fragment. This fragment happens at 15:49.

Fragment 2: After getting past the hidden enemies in the second mine area, you'll ride along some rails with Asem. Eventually, you'll need to move a crate to reach a rail that goes straight up. When you reach the top, going right will progress the story, but going left will lead to the fragment. There will be a train cart that you can move using your Light Ray. Move it all the way to the end (you'll need to dodge some corruption areas as you just from platform to platform) and use the cart to reach the fragment up on the higher ledge.

Fragment 3: After activating the generator in the 3rd mine section, a short cutscene of the lift powering on will play out. Afterward, a rail will appear directly in front of you with Asem waiting just across the way. Slide across the first rail and then ignore Asem. Instead of going forward, look right and there will be a ledge you can jump to that has some hidden monsters patrolling on it. The jump to this ledge is pretty tight and can be annoyingly easy to miss. Just make sure you're jumping at the last possible minute to give yourself some space to land after using your Light Form to dash across the gap. Using your Light Eye, make your way past the hidden enemies to find the final fragment at the end of the tunnel. If you've collected all of the Soul Fragments up to this point, this trophy will unlock.

Guardian Door: After completing the 3rd mine, you'll reach the top of the mountain and the door that leads to Kali. Ignore the door for now and instead look for the lift hanging off the backside of the mountain. Use this lift to jump on a snowy ledge to the right, then squeeze between the mountain wall to find the door. Interact with the coffin inside to collect the Guardian Armor (Headpiece). If you've collected everything up to this point, Now you look like a Guardian! trophy_gold.png will unlock.
  • Equip a piece of the Guardian armor.

The Soul Fragments are required to unlock the Guardian Armor. For that reason, their locations have been combined to make finding them both easier for the player. Please see May they rest in peace. trophy_gold.png for the locations of both collectibles.
  • Equip the full Guardian armor.

The Soul Fragments are required to unlock the Guardian Armor. For that reason, their locations have been combined to make finding them both easier for the player. Please see May they rest in peace. trophy_gold.png for the locations of both collectibles.
  • Read a Lore point.

    Missable.

While this trophy is missable, you have to actively ignore objects directly in front of your face to not get it, so it's definitely one of the easier "missable" trophies to get. Throughout the game, you will come across stone slabs/obelisks that offer a bit of Lore to the story when you interact with them (you will be prompted to press triangle.png when you're close to them). Simply interact with any one of them to unlock the trophy.

The first Lore Point you can interact with will be at the very start of the game (during the Prologue). When you first gain control of the Lux, you'll cross over a small bridge and be met with some broken stairs directly in front of you. The Lore point is just to the left of these stairs.

The last Lore Point you can interact with will be in Chapter 6 as you're completing the block puzzle (just after the boat ride for You should have been a gondolier! trophy_gold.png). There is a Lore Point behind the console you and Asem are trying to activate.

  • Read all books in the library.

    Missable.

The Library the books can be found in is in the Nexus, but the books won't all be available from the start. As you progress through the game, more books will become available with Chapter 4 being the first (and only) time all 22 are available at the same time. For that reason, it's best to just wait until Chapter 4 to work on this trophy.

While inside the Library, look for the books that give you a triangle.png prompt when you're near them. You don't need to read/scroll through them, simply interacting with them will work. The books can be found in the following locations:

    Bottom Floor
    • On a table just to the left of the front door (next to the stairs): Travel With Me, Through the Plane of Memory by Nemodora
    • On the table to the right of the front door: The Final Escape, Walking Through the Chasm by Nio, 9th recorded Red Guardian
    • On a shelf to the right of Greybones, next to an NPC sitting in an armchair: Chromatic Armors, a fascinating look at lost-and-found fashion by Agatha of the Hills
    • The bookshelf to the right of Graybones: The Us in Nexus by Giordano Giorgio Golondrino
    • On a bookshelf just left of Graybones: Basic Mythology of the Plane of Memory by Graybones
    • On the desk to the right of Graybones: Incomplete Chronicles of the Betrayal by Graybones
    • On a bench in the back of the library, just to the right of the NPC wearing the top hat: Dying: A One-Way Door? by Spekuly the Sudden
    • On the bookshelf to the left of the fireplace: Rumors About the End by Nostradamus Al-Haqqani
    • On a bookshelf in the back left corner, near the NPC with the top hat: Monsters, Animals and Sentient Beings: A Boney Collection by Irun Kahan
    • On the table immediately to the left of Graybones: Windmills and Infinite by Boris Ulybka
    • On one of the tables to the left of Graybones: The Nox and the Lux by Lift Davar
    • On a shelf next to a window on the left side of Graybones: Flowing through the Vita Tree by Laura Sinclair & Ankara Minsk
    • On the bookshelf on the backside of the stairs: Death after Life, a Thought on Immortality by Turvi Mannan

    2nd Floor
    • On the shelf next to the 2 NPCs talking: The Crying Woods: A Crowded Haven by Nisa
    • On a chair just behind the two NPCs talking together: The Waterless Ocean: Yesterday and Tomorrow by Nemete
    • On a bookshelf just after the bench next to the 2 NPCs talking. It's just under a window: The Iskandireyya Library or The Book that Never Ended by Fisto
    • It's on the bookshelf just right of the previous book: Burrowing into the Hollow Mountain by Kamina Okabe
    • Follow the room as it turns right and the book will be on the first bookshelf on the left: The Four Engineers: A Tale of Foundation by Brandon Abercrombie.
    • On the 2nd floor, on a bookshelf just across from the NPC sitting in the armchair: Void All Around by Leonardo Toledano
    • On the armchair an NPC is sitting in on: Soul to the Body, and a Body for the Soul by Fatima Onyango
    • On the arm of the couch: The "L" in Light: A Guide to Our Prime Energy and Its Derivatives by Pratibha, 10th recorded Pink Guardian
    • On one of the tables: A Problematic Side Effect by Hinana, fifth recorded Yellow Guardian

Secret trophies

  • You completed Chapter 6.

    Story Related

Chapter 6 will start immediately after going through the portal and completing Chapter 5 (you will not return to the Nexus between the two chapters). The boat ride the chapter starts with will be the same one you can earn You should have been a gondolier! trophy_gold.png with. Once you reach land, you and Asem will work on a lock puzzle to open up the door that finally leads to Donovan. The final fight will be a rock 'em sock 'em style punch out with the man himself, after which a string of cutscenes will play out. The trophy will unlock once the credits start to roll.

During this section, look out for the trophies/collectibles listed below (all of which are missable). They are listed in the order you can pick them up (collectibles) or earn them (trophies).

  • You didn't collide with anything while driving the boat.

    Missable

While this trophy is missable, it'll be hard to actually miss. At the start of Chapter 6, you will start in a boat that you and Asem will take to reach a door puzzle. You need to get from the start of the chapter to the puzzle without hitting anything in the water. Only the obstacles will count for this (hitting fish won't penalize you), so as long as you're looking ahead, you'll have plenty of room to maneuver the boat and avoid hitting everything. Look for the beacons to light the way forward if you get turned around or lose your way a bit. The boat ride itself will only be about 1-2 minutes long, so as long as you don't hit anything on your travels, the trophy will unlock.

If you accidentally hit something while steering the boat, just close the game app and start it back up to try again. It'll load you back in at the start of Chapter 6.
  • You found the mural in High-priest Myriel's room in the Prologue,

    Missable

This trophy can be earned during the Prologue. After meeting Asem for the first time, you will earn the Light Eye ability. This allows you to do a few things, but the notable one for this will be the ability to remove glitched walls. One of these walls is located in the same room as Asem, just across from the exit door:

Use the Light Eye ability (dpad_up.png) and shine the light on the wall to remove it. A small room will now be accessible that has a note on the left (optional) and a wall you can interact with in the back. Interact with the wall to reveal the mural and unlock the trophy.

  • You talked to all NPCs in the Nexus

    Missable

While you will come back to the Nexus a few times, this trophy can only be done in Chapter 1. The NPCs you need to talk to are all story-related characters except for 1. You will need to talk to them outside of any quest/mission they give you. Mimi is the main reason this trophy is missable since you can be locked out of having a side conversation with her if you progress too far into the chapter. To make things easier, talk to the story-related NPCs in the following order:
    • Graybones (inside the Library with the book icon): Talk with him after he sends you off to go find Mimi.
    • Mimi (at the repair shop with the wrench icon): Talk with her after she sends you off to find Miriamne. You must talk to her again BEFORE completing the Golden Door section with Gabs.
    • Miriamne (at the Mines with the pickaxe icon): Talk with her after she sends you off to Karamona.
    • Karamona (at the Blacksmith with the anvil icon): Talk with him after he sends you off to find Ankara.
    • Ankara (the Priest at the top of the lift): Talk with her after she tasks you with going through the large Golden Door by the Priest Puzzle.
    • Gabs (the NPC standing outside the Golden Door): Talk with him after completing the Golden Door section/after he sends you back to Mimi.

The last NPC you need to talk with will be the Wandering Skeleton which, if you can guess by the name, can be found in multiple locations throughout the Nexus.
    • Location 1: In the same area as Soul Fragment 2. While in the central fountain area, look for the corner with the large market stand. Go past the stairs behind the stand to find a small area on the left with an NPC and a skeletal cat. If he spawns here, the Wandering Skeleton will be on the floor by the door to the house.
    • Location 2: Make your way to the Blacksmith and face the ramp leading down to Karamona. Go left and if he spawns here, the Wandering Skeleton will be in the corner at the top of the stairs.
Talk to all 7 NPCs to get their additional, non-story-related dialogue and to unlock the trophy.
  • You've been bitten by an eel

    Missable

The eels can be found in Chapter 2. They first appear as a small hole in the wall with two little beady eyes staring out:

When you get too close to them, a yellow eel will swim out and bite you (it doesn't do any actual damage).

As soon as it gets a little nibble, the trophy will unlock. There are a few locations where you can do this, but the location shown in the images above will be the easiest. When you need to rotate the Windmills to restore power, you'll need to go to an island that requires you to grow and shrink boxes to progress. Between the two crates you need to grow will be an eel on the wall (shown above). Just walk up to the hole to get the eel to come out.

  • You've eaten each of the colored fruits.

    Missable

This can be earned near the start of Chapter 3 (after you arrive at the Crying Forest). There are 3 sections you need to complete to rescue a total of 6 NPCs. Start with the leftmost section that can only be accessed by crouching through a wooden log. On the other side of the log will be a living plant and a small pond with a tree sticking out from it.

When you use your Light Break ability on the tree, a piece of colored fruit will fall down. When you eat the fruit, you will change into the color of the fruit (save for the dark blue fruit which will turn you purple). There are 4 colors in total: Yellow, Red, Light Blue, and Dark Blue. Keep hitting the tree until you have eaten all 4 colors to unlock the trophy.
  • You've used the helmet inside the mine

    Missable

This will be earned in Chapter 4 when you're far away from the mines in the Nexus. After you meet up with the survival camp, Kasago will task you with opening the Temple by using mirrors to light 4 pillars. Pull the bar to open up the mine and go inside. Immediately turn right to find a safety helmet hanging on the wall. Interact with it to put it on and unlock this trophy.

  • You should interact with the fox.

    Missable

Make sure you go for this before going for You don't need a silly red sheet! trophy_silver.png (if you don't already have that trophy, of course). You need to avoid going in the snow for that trophy whereas the fox requires you to stay in it, so do this one first.

At the very start of Chapter 5, you will be walking with Asem across a snowy bridge that leads to a large door. Running around the bridge and door area will be a skeletal fox. After Asem explains how to open the door, ignore the panels that need to be activated and instead make your way to the fox. If you get too close while running, the fox will get spooked and run off. Crouch when you're near it and slowly creep up to the fox. If done correctly, the fox will allow you to get right up to it where you'll get a prompt to pet it. Press triangle.png to pet the fox and this trophy will unlock.

If you need a visual reference for this trophy, it is included in the video provided under You don't need a silly red sheet! trophy_silver.png.
  • You found and interacted with the campfire.

    Missable

The campfire you need to interact with will be found in Chapter 6. After opening up the large door with the help of Asem, you'll need to make your way through a jungle-like area with vine walls and falling debris everywhere. After pushing down the column to create a makeshift bridge, swing over the next 2 sets of vines (they won't be right next to each other, but will be close by). To go forward from here, you need to jump onto a vine wall on the left but instead, go right to find a campfire in a small area (there will be a large anchor here as well).

Interact with the fire to unlock the trophy.
  • You find a fallen guardian

Please refer to This should never have happened! trophy_silver.png for the location of all 4 Fallen Guardians.
  • You find all fallen guardians

    Missable

There are 4 Fallen Guardians you need with Chapters 2-5 each containing 1. All of them will be found at the end of their respective chapters after you've interacted with the glowing tree in the red-grass area (right before you have to go through the final exit portal). When you have to go through the final portal, you will be stumbling around and walking slowly. Walk around before going through the portal to find the Fallen Guardians sitting/laying on the ground. Find all 4 on one playthrough to unlock the trophy.

Chapter 2: From the portal turn around and walk forward until you reach some stairs. The Fallen Guardian will be on the right side of the bottom of the stairs wearing black armor. Can not be! trophy_bronze.png will unlock when you find this Guardian.

Chapter 3: From the portal, turn around and the Guardian will be just slightly to the right sitting on the ground just in front of a wall. They will be wearing blue armor.

Chapter 4: From the portal, turn around and the Guardian will be sitting on the ground just off to the left.

Chapter 5: From the portal, turn around and the Guardian will be sitting on the ground off to the left. This one will be wearing blue armor and will also unlock this trophy once found.
