This is a dancing game made from the developers of the SingStar game Studio London, if you have played any Just Dance games or any SingStar Dance tracks you should be familiar with the concept and the way the game plays. It's a fun game for 1-20 players but due to the time it was released and lack of post-release support the song choice is dated and limited. It is still a fun game no matter whether you are playing for fun or trophies. This is a dual trophy guide to cover the games "DanceStar Digital" and "Everybody Dance Digital" because the gameplay mechanics and trophy list are identical, apart from some minor changes to the "Let It Burn" and "Perfect Partner" trophies.

PLEASE NOTE: To fully 100% this game you need to buy 10 tracks from the Playstation store and if you do plan to play both versions of the game (EU and US), then you will need to buy 10 songs from the other country's store as well. Even though the games are from the same developer and are identical; the tracks you buy are stored in a different place on the hard drive and are inaccessible to the other game. There are some demo tracks available which do allow you to unlock trophies from the base list but these do not count towards the DLC. Also these games, unlike SingStar, cannot read any tracks from the disc versions of the game so you are forced to but tracks from the store to fully 100% the game. When you are buying tracks I would recommend some of the easier dances at professional level including Boney M - Rasputin, Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up and Jessie J - Who's Laughing Now?

This walkthrough is written assuming the user has bought at least 10 songs, if you haven't some trophies might not unlock until you have bought the correct amount of songs. All trophies in the base game can be got with the 4 demo songs available for free but that would be a very long and boring grind with each song lasting under a minute. I would recommend buying some songs to help stave off boredom, especially in the grind to 10 hours and 60 dances.

Step 1 - Dancing/Singing

Start off by just dancing on your own with a single move controller and get to know the game mechanics. Introduce playing with a friend and just have fun - you will likely get a lot of the easier dance related trophies without really trying. Once you are comfortable with the game mechanics then start trying some of the harder difficulties and see how you fare. If you are having issues at the higher levels then I recommend downloading Boney M's Rasputin as the move sets are similar through all 3 difficulties and getting 5 stars on Professional should be doable with this song for most people. Once you have got to Professional level dancing you should be a master of this game and you will hopefully have most, if not all, of the following trophies:-

Step 2 - Dance workout

Under the dance studio option there is the ability to do dance workouts, set up a personal profile to track calories burnt and then dance to either 3 song (Beginner-Professional) or 5 song (Professional+) workouts. Whilst the gold trophy might take a while, if you follow the trophy tips then you should have this section done in under 20 songs and have the following trophies:-

The following are the only 2 online trophies in this game and involve you sharing your own media and liking other people's and doing so will get you the following 2 trophies:-

Under the dance studio there is the option to create your own dances, these can be either serious choreography or just random waving of the controller (my personal choice). There is just 1 trophy in his step:-

The final section of the dance studio section is dance classes that allow you to perfect the moves in each section of a song in controlled conditions, follow the trophy tips and the following trophies should be yours:-

Party mode can be played with 2 and up to 20 players in a pass the controller fashion, party mode can also be played with normal and short length songs, these 2 trophies again shouldn't cause you too many problems:-

Depending on how much you have played for fun it is likely that you might have a number of hours still to burn to finally achieve the 10 hours dancing trophy and this will likely be your last trophy. Do any mopping up you might need for any other missed trophies on your route to this final gold trophy Dedicated To Dance .

Complete any dance in single player mode on any difficulty and this trophy will pop soon after you complete it.
Step Up!

Play your first dance battle
(Offline - Multiplayer)

Choose to dance with a another player in a battle and again no matter the difficulty or the final score this will pop soon after you finish the dance.
Just The Two Of Us

Play your first dance partners routine

(Offline - Co-Op)

Again, you will be dancing with another player but this time in a co-operative manner whilst trying to get a combined high score. No matter how well you do, this trophy will pop soon after you complete the dance.
Dance Fever

Play 60 dances

(GLITCHED, Offline - Solo, Multiplayer or Co-Op)

Dance to 60 songs in total across all the modes and this will pop after you complete the 60th dance. For me this trophy seemed to take forever to pop but as there is no counter in game you can either keep a manual tally or just keep playing until it does. The in-game Stat Tracking for several trophies isn't very reliable so the respective trophies may not pop when they're supposed. This problem is linked to playing different versions of the game (i.e. EU and US) at the same time so stick to playing just one of them until you've finished it, then delete the saves from your system.
Millionaire

Accumulate 1,000,000 points

At the end of each song you are given a star rating out of 5 and an overall score, in general a 5 star performance will be in the region of 90,000-100,000 points so in theory you could get this in just over 10 songs if done well. Either way this trophy will pop once you have accumulated 1,000,000 points in the game. Note that this can be achieved using the demo tracks which are available for free.
Hi-Score Hero

Get 40 hi-scores
(Offline - Solo, Multiplayer or Co-Op)

Each song has a pre-populated high score table with the top score being between 40,000 and 60,000. You then need to register 40 of your own high scores to get this trophy to pop. Playing each song once will net you this trophy as will playing the same songs over and over but the latter option makes it harder, because you will need to keep bettering yourself to achieve the trophy. Also each difficulty has its own leaderboard so there are more than enough opportunities for this to be earned. Note that this can be achieved using the demo tracks which are available for free.
Dedicated To Dance

Dance for 10 hours in total

(GLITCHED, Offline - Solo, Multiplayer or Co-Op)

This will likely be your last trophy depending on how good you are and whether you are playing the game for fun or just for trophies. Depending on how good you are, you will likely have danced a minimum of 5-10 hours when going for the other trophies (or thereabouts). The easiest way of getting time burnt with as little input as possible will be doing 5 song workouts at approx 20 minutes a piece, getting 1 star and some calories burnt on each dance for them to register then repeat until the trophy pops. Again, playing more than one iteration of this game seems to "confuse" the stats for this trophy so only play one version at time on a clean save/profile to avoid any unnecessary dancing.
We Like To Party

Play a 5 round party
(Offline - multiplayer)

On the main menu screen is a PARTY option choose this and to make it quicker just choose take 2 players photos and then start the party (you can have up to 20 people). Each person then takes it it turns and the winner is the one with the highest score. At the end of the 5th round, end the party to get the overall winner and the trophy will pop soon afterwards on the results screen.
School's In Session

Complete a section of any routine in dance class mode

(Offline - Solo or Co-Op)

Under dance studio there is a dance class option that lets you play each section of a routing at all the different difficulty levels in micro sized chunks to learn the routine, you will get the same section 4 times in a row with the hope you will get 5 stars in it by the end. Choose any song and play the intro section and regardless of score the trophy will pop soon after you finish it. If you do get 5 stars you can finish that section early by pressing .
Are You Cupid?

Heart 20 different videos or snapshots in the community gallery

(UNOBTAINABLE, Online - Solo)

This is the second online trophy, under galleries there is the community gallery and your saved photos, go into the community gallery and select a photo or video and to the right is the option to heart a video using the I LOVE THIS selection. Do this 20 times and the trophy will pop. Note: The servers closed on February 21st 2016 so this trophy is no longer possible.
Let It Burn

Burn a total of 1000 Kcals in Dance Workout

GLITCHED

Under the dance studio section there is the option to do a Dance Workout. For the first time, you will need to set up a profile for the calories to track against. Once you have a profile choose a workout. There are 3 song and 5 song workouts and each song has a calories tracker to let you know how much you have burned. Personally I have found you need to get at least 1 star on each song for the calories to track against your profile and once you do you can shake the controller like mad to get the calorie count higher than normal. Doing a routine naturally you can expect to get 30-40 calories per song. Shaking like crazy I was able to get 100+ per song. I had issues getting this trophy to pop mainly because I think I was playing this game, plus the Digital and US versions at the same time and they all seem to read from the same profile so it confused the count. I would suggest playing one version of the game at a time then deleting the old profile once you have got any calorie related trophy before starting any other variation of this game. I can confirm that even with a clean save the trophy did not pop at 1000 calories, it eventually did at 1118 so all I can say is keep playing if you are having issues with this trophy.
Dance Of Love

Perform a dance partners routine on St. Valentine's Day

(Offline - Co-Op, Date Sensitive)

Set your PS3's clock to February 14th or wait until the day comes around naturally, now set up a dance partners routine and this trophy will pop soon after you start dancing.
Class Act

5 star 50 sections in dance class mode

(Offline - solo or co-op)

In dance class mode, each song is broken down into a number of sections for you to learn the routine. You need to 5 star a section 50 times to get this trophy. This can be done by either getting all of one difficulty done and then doing the same again on other songs at beginner difficulty or doing the same song on all it's difficulties and getting 5 stars. Either way you do it, each song has 4 settings so there should be more than enough opportunities to get this. I can confirm that dance partners dance class 5 stars also count towards this trophy.

If you only have the demo songs then you are limited as to how you can get this trophy so will need to 5 star every class for every difficulty and this will get you to 48. You can however repeat sections to get this so if you are struggling just repeat sections you have already got 5 stars on to achieve this trophy.

It's Good To Share

Upload a video or snapshot highlight to the community gallery (you must own at least 1 song to unlock this trophy)

(UNOBTAINABLE, Online - Solo, Multiplayer or Co-Op)

One of only 2 online trophies, this involves uploading one of your highlight videos or photos to the online community, you can do this either at the end of the song or from your profile. Share one of these to get this trophy to pop. Note: The servers closed on February 21st 2016 so this trophy is no longer possible.
Streaker

Achieve a 70 move streak in any routine (excludes Creator Routines, you must own at least 1 song to unlock this trophy)

(Offline - Solo, Multiplayer or Co-Op)

You will most likely get this on any beginner routine without trying, simply string together 70 moves without getting an X symbol to break the streak. If you are struggling look for a lower pace song with broader and slower dance movements or ones with a more predictable pattern.
Don't Sweat It

Perform a normal length song in dance workout mode (you must own at least 1 song to unlock this trophy)
At the main menu under Dance Studio, there is a workout section. Now choose to do a single song workout and complete it using a normal length song and the trophy will pop soon after you finish the workout.
Dance Director

Create a full "normal" length dance routine (you must own at least 1 song to unlock this trophy)
Under Dance Studio there is the option to create a solo routine of your own so using just one controller, simply dance anyway you like and save the progress at the end as a new routine. The trophy will pop soon after the game has finished saving.
This Is My Song

Get a 5 star rating on any professional, normal length song (you must own at least 1 song to unlock this trophy)
(Difficulty)

This is in single player and you must choose professional difficulty, a normal length song and get 5 stars in it. Easy songs you could download include Boney M - Rasputin, Rick Astley - Never Gonna Give You Up and Jessie J - Who's Laughing Now? Trophy will pop soon after the results screen appears.
Dancing The Night Away

Play a normal length song late at night (you must own at least 1 song to unlock this trophy)

(Time sensitive)

Either set your PS3's clock to after 10pm or play at that time to get this trophy but if you have any issues then try at 11pm or Midnight and eventually the trophy will pop.

You can dance the same song 5 times and get 5 stars or dance 5 different songs, it doesn't matter. The trophy will pop soon after the results screen of the fifth time you get 5 stars in a dance partners song.
Sing While You Swing

Get at least a 'cool singing' rating in 5 performances (you must own at least 5 songs to unlock this trophy)

(Offline - Solo, Multiplayer or Co-Op)

You can sing along with the game either by using a stand alone microphone or use the built in microphone on the PS Eye camera. You must first turn the camera microphone on under the game options and game set up. A Cool rating is the second best rating and I actually got this by just turning the volume up and putting the camera in range of the speakers as it pics up the general vocals and melodies. Overall this shouldn't be a difficult trophy to get, just get that cool rating 5 times for it to pop.
Stay On Target

Reach the Kcal target in every song of a random professional+ workout (you must own at least 5 songs to unlock this trophy)
In the dance studio section there is the option to do a dance workout. For your first time using this, you will need to set up a profile for the calories to track against. Choose your workout by pressing button and selecting professional+, you will then have 5 songs to dance to and must fill the calorie tracker in each of them for the trophy to pop.

Under Dance Studio, there is a workout option and to get this trophy you must choose a random workout (using :triangle:). Choose Professional+ as this gives you 5 songs instead of 3. The workout will end after the 5th song, do this a second time and the trophy should pop after the 2nd workout.
Party Playlist

Play a different song in each round for 10 rounds of a party (you must own at least 10 songs to unlock this trophy)
(Offline - Multiplayer)
