Introduction:

Welcome to Night City. First of all if you're a new-gen player then lucky you, you'll be mostly fine during your time around the city despite a few funky stuff and crashes, lots of crashes. Thankfully nothing game-breaking. If you're still an old-gen player however, then you've probably heard by now so good luck and hopefully you can still manage to enjoy the ride. Anyway, there's a lot to do around town so let's not waste time. Main missions, side missions, romances, side gigs, helping the police solving crimes, killing the same police you've helped previously to farm some trophies (feel free to spend as many time as you want customizing your character in details though). Note that your gender or your starting lifepath will not matter in term of trophies.

Walkthrough:

Money-farming tip:
You need a lot of money to buy all cars for Autojock trophy_silver.png but as of patch 1.05, the devs have completely reworked the economy system of the game. You should now earn enough money to buy all cars while completing all Main/Side quests + all Gigs and NCPD scanners but to be completely sure, you should loot everything that is on your way and, most importantly, every enemy you kill. Picking up their guns and selling them is a really great source of money. I am unsure if the money exploits still work but you could check Youtube every now and then to see if someone finds some good exploit.

Step 1: Play the main missions until "Search and Destroy" mission while saving your Attribute points and money + 10 dialogues related to your lifepath.

Even though it's an RPG and you're supposed to play however you want, it is highly recommended that you save your Attribute points (light blue ones) because you will need them for some trophies and if you spend them all on trees not needed, you might lock yourself out of these trophies. Focus on the main missions first until you reach the Search and Destroy mission. There is a hidden objective on this mission that you need to do in order to get the ending The Devil trophy_silver.png (Highly MISSABLE). Don't forget to choose the dialogues related to your starting lifepath for Stanislavski's Method trophy_bronze.png because this is also MISSABLE. You should also start levelling up a skill for Ten out of Ten trophy_bronze.png  and you might want to choose Reflexes but again don't spend too many points yet, you should keep at least 17 Attribute points in reserve for later.

You'll earn the followuing during this step:

Step 2: Finish Side missions + Main missions + all endings

To unlock all the endings you'll need to complete some side missions, you can either do them now of after completing your first ending, as the game let you return right before the last mission when you complete it and you can do the side missions at any time. Take a look at Breathtaking trophy_silver.png to make sure to not miss an important item for during one of these side missions. Some other side storyline are not required for the endings but now is a good time to do them. Anyway, complete the side missions needed, then finish one ending. Now re-do the last mission again to do the other endings. You can make a back-up save after killing the last boss on either The Sun trophy_silver.png or The Star trophy_silver.png  endings, to quickly get the Temperance trophy_silver.png  ending, instead of doing this mission one more time.

You'll earn the following during this step:

Step 3: Gigs and NCPD missions + misc combat trophies

Now that you have finished everything story related, you should have enough points to do the trophies that require spending some Ability points but for some of them you might be short Street Cred level, money or whatever so if needed, make a start on the Gigs and NCPD missions. Don't forget to create a back-up save before spending your Attribute points each time you attempt a trophy so you can quickly reload it and do some other trophies.

You'll earn the following during this step:

Step 4: Finish Gigs and NCPD missions + max Street Cred + buy all vehicles

Now it's time to finish all gigs and NCPD missions, while leveling up your Street Cred and maxing out a skill if you still need to. You'll eventually have to reach level 50 Street Cred to unlock all gigs and all cars anyway. Finish the rest of the misc combat trophies during this step too, as well as the tarot collectibles and the travel dataterms if you haven't done that earlier.

You'll earn the following during this step:

Show secret trophies

45 trophies ( 17  26  14  )

  • Unlock all Trophies.

Earn all the other trophies to get this one.
  • Complete the main storyline.

Story related and cannot be missed

This will pop after completing the game, with any of the endings and epilogues. No matter your ending, you will have to defeat Smasher during the final mission. It's a tough boss and he can kill you very quickly with his missiles if you don't pay attention so whenver you see him launching missiles at you, make sure to dodge and/or run to not die. Then just keep shooting him with any weapons you have until he's defeated.
  • Collect all items that once belonged to Johnny Silverhand.

    MISSABLE

For this, you are required to collect a set of items that belonged to Johnny. Some you unlock naturally over the course of the main missions, and some others on side gigs. This is marked as possibly missable because you are able to dismantle Johnny's gun, which could lead to miss this trophy if you do that before collecting the other items.

The items you need to find are:
    • Johnny's gun (Malorian Arms 3516): after defeating Greyson during Chippin' in (see Bushido and Chill trophy_bronze.png)
    • Johnny's jacket (Replica of Johnny's Samurai Jacket): automatically unlocked at the start of Chippin' in (see Bushido and Chill trophy_bronze.png)
    • Johnny's Tank Top: Automatically unlocked at the end of Search and Destroy and Tapeworm main missions
    • Johnny's aviators: Automatically unlocked during Chippin' in (see Bushido and Chill trophy_bronze.png)
    • Johnny's pants: During the Psychofan gig. It is located in The Glen area in Heywood, West of the El Coyote Cojo travel point. During this mission, when reaching the appartment, search a suitcase in the bedroom upstairs, you should see a yellow exclamation mark to help you, even though it is not an objective to this gig. <- MISSABLE, because you can't come back here outside the gig.
    • Johnny's shoes: During the Family Heirloom gig. It is located in the south of Charter Hill area in Westbrook, East of Dynalar travel point. You need level 4 Street Cred to unlock it. You will find the shoes in a locker in the objective's location, you should see a yellow exclamation mark to help you.
  • Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in Watson.

**Note: some reports are mentioning some gigs failing or not actually being completed, keep an eye out on your rewards when completing a gig, also the fixer should call you and let you know it's done but it might be a little glitched at the moment. Some gigs can also count for different areas.**

The gigs are the yellow icons on the map (they are yellow interrogation marks when they're not unlocked). They can be:
    • Gun for Hire
    • Search and Recover
    • Thievery
    • Agent Saboteur
    • SOS: Merc Needed
    • Convoy
    • Cyberpshycho Sightings (see I Am The Law trophy_bronze.png)
There are more than 150 of them and they will all appear automatically on your map, when reaching certain levels of Street Cred. You'll need to be at level 50 Street Cred to unlock them all. When completing them, they'll disappear from your map so don't worry too much about keeping track of them.

The NCPD Scanner Hustles are the light-blue icons on the map (they are light-blue interrogation marks when not unlocked) and most of them should be unlocked very early on in the game but some of them will unlock more after completing them - make sure to read the shards when completing them. There are also more than 150 of them. They can be:
    • Assaults in Progress
    • Organized Crimes
    • Reported Crimes
  • Complete all Cyberpsycho Sightings.

Cyberpsycho Sightings are a type of gigs, and they'll also be required for the trophies related to complete Gigs and NCPD Scanners Hustles. They will be unlocked after progressing the story so just finish the main story first before doing them.

There are 17 of them and they are some kind of mini bosses. They will all appear on your map with the yellow "?" and will then become Cyberpsycho Sightings once you are close. The only one that will not appear at first is the one located in Watson (Bloody Ritual), you need to visit this location during night time to make it appear on your map.

  • Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in Pacifica.

  • Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in the Badlands.

    See It's Elementary trophy_silver.png.

The Badlands are the areas outside of the main districts (North of Watson, East of Santo Domingo, South/South-East of  Pacifica)
  • Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in Westbrook.

  • Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in Heywood.

  • Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in Santo Domingo.

  • Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in City Center.

  • Install at least one implant in each system and body part.

You can buy implants at Ripperdocs, located on your map with the Scissors icons. You have to buy and install at least 1 implant in each system and body part:
    • Frontal Cortex
    • Ocular System
    • Circulatory System
    • Immune System
    • Nervous System
    • Integumentary System
    • Operating System
    • Skeleton
    • Hands
    • Arms
    • Legs
Some of them are quite expensive and different Ripperdocs sell different implants so make sure to visit multiple of them and buy the cheapest ones, as you need to save money to buy all the cars. The Legs implant is likely the more expensive ones at €$45,000 and haven't seen one that is cheap. Also some of them require a certain Street Cred level or a certain level in some Attribute before you can buy them.

Make a save before this trophy if you want to save your money.
  • Kill or incapacitate 3 enemies in quick succession with a revolver or pistol in close combat.

When playing as Johnny during the story, you'll have a very powerful gun that will insta-kill anyone so you can do this here easily but if you miss this, wait until further in the story so you have powerful pistols then go to a NCPD mission and try to kill 3 enemies quickly with your handguns. You can also use the Request Backup quickhack (bought from Netrunners) to help with this, since all enemies will regroup themselves and will be close together. Just outside of your first appartment, there will be 2 policemen and an enemy on the ground, you can easily do this here but once you kill them they don't seem to respawn so make sure to have a backup save if you attemp that here.
  • Complete a Breach Protocol with a minimum of 3 daemons uploaded.

This one doesn't require you to spend any Perk points on the Breach Protocol tree but will be way less complicated if you do.

Firstly, when scanning enemies, you'll see the Breach Protocol quickhack then you'll have a mini puzzle to complete to succesfully upload daemons that will weaker your enemies (or disable cameras/turrets etc.). For that you will need to buy the daemons in your Breach Protocol tree with Perk points but it is not necessary as you can also find access points (and computers) that will have 3 daemons to upload without buying any of them. By all means, buy at least the cheapest daemons so you can attempt it pretty much on every situation.

Secondly, there are some Perks that make this way easier and way less luck-based. The Head Start perk that automatically uploads the first daemon and the Compression perk that reduces the lenght of the sequences but for these you will need to have 18 and 20 Attribute points on Intelligence so make a backup save before doing that.

Now for the actual puzzle, you'll have a board with numbers/letters on the left and the 3 sequences you want to complete on the right but you cannot just click whatever code you want, you can only click on a code on the first line, then on whatever column that the previous code wasn, then on the same line as the previous code, etc.

    For example:

    1C 55
    1C BD 1C
    1C BD

    Clicking on 1C, you'll have:

    1C 55
    1C BD 1C
    1C BD

    Then clicking BD:

                1C 55
    1C BD 1C
1C BD (this deamon is installed)

(You fail the first sequence as you didn't click on a 55 so you have to restart it but it also pushes the codes to the right and there's only 4 spaces so in this case there was still some place, though if it was a 3-number sequence it would have failed)

    Then clicking 1C:

                1C 55
1C BD 1C (this deamon is installed)
1C BD (this deamon is installed)

Then pressing 55 to install the last one.

This was an example without any perk to make it easier but most of the time it'll be impossible to solve them all 3 in the same quickhack as you'll get 3-numbers or even 4-numbers codes so save your game before buying the Perks and attempting this, then reload when it's done to save your points.

Note that you can also "reload" the quickhack if you're not happy with the sequences, just quit and retry (there is a cooldown timer) but it's only possible if you haven't succesfully completed a line.
  • Reach the max level in any skill.

There is a list of 12 skills and you'll need to reach level 20 in one of them. The only way to max out these skills is by playing in a certain way, you cannot spend points to max them out but you need to spend Ability points or you'll be stuck.

In the Character menu, you have 5 different Ability trees and the skils tied to them are:

    - Reflexes:
    • Handguns (kills with pistols and revolvers)
    • Assault (kills with assault rifles, SMGs)
    • Blades (kills with blades, katanas)
    - Technical Ability:
    • Crafting (disassembling and crafting materials)
    • Engineering (Tech weapons kills)
    - Cool:
    • Stealth (stealth kills)
    • Cold Blood (bladed melee weapon's heavy attacks)
    - Intelligence:
    • Breach Protocol (performing Breach Protocol quickhacks)
    • Quickhacking (using Quickhacks)
    - Body:
    • Athletics (running, climbing...)
    • Annihilation (shotgun kills)
    • Street Brawler (bare fists and some melee weapons kills)
The one you want to max out is up to you but the easiest way will probably be the Assault skill, especially if you plan on shooting a lot of enemies. All the skills are very grindy to max out anyway so might as well pick one that doesn't require you going out of your way too much.

The other thing to remember is to spend your Ability points on that tree. As an example, let's say you want to max out the Assault skill, if you're level 5 on the Relexes tree, you'll only be able to max out the Assault skill to level 5. Now if you want to max it out even more, you will first need to level up the Reflexes tree, by spending the light-blue Ability points but as I said in the roadmap, you want to save Ability points for other trophies, which is why it's best to do them before attempting to max out a skill.

Another skill to easily max out (even though it's really not the most entertaining way) is the Crafting, you'll need a bit of money to start. Run around the city and look for the selling machines that sell items for €$10. (there are a lot just outside of your first appartment). Buy all these items until the machines are sold out. Go to your inventory/backpack and look for them, then dismantle all of them (you'll get some Crafting points doing that). Now go to the Crafting menu and craft a green (uncommon) weapon, you'll get a lot of Crafting points. Now you can either dismantle the guns to have more materials to craft other guns or sell them in a Drop Point to get your money back to buy some more machine selling items.

This is somewhat grindy towards the later levels but it's a rather simple method if you choose to max out this skill.
  • Shoot an enemy grenade in midair with a revolver.

A lot of enemies will throw grenades at you towards the game but it's tricky to shoot them while in the air without any perk. Fortunately, you can buy the Dynalar Sandevistan Cyberware (Operating System) that will slow time by 50% for 8 seconds when using it. You can buy one at the Ripperdoc located in Northside in Watson but you'll need level 6 in Reflexes. Feel free to kill some civilians to trigger the police, as they almost always throw grenades at you.

The Dynalar Sandevistan is also useful for The Quick and the Dead trophy_bronze.png.
  • Kill or incapacitate 2 enemies with the same sniper rifle shot.

Around the city, you can often find 2 policemen standing close together so you can easily do this. You can also go near an NCPD mission location without triggering it so the enemies stand still. It's a bit easier with a Power Sniper rifle as you can hold the trigger to deal more damage and make sure the enemies die in one hit.
  • While Berserk cyberware is active, perform a Superhero Landing to kill or incapacitate 2 enemies.

Berserk is a cyberware that can be bought at some Ripperdocs but you should also automatically earn one after completing an ending so you don't have to actually spend money on this (otherwise they're pretty expensive, like €$45,000). What you need though, is to spend 18 points in the Body attribute to be able to equip the Berserk cyberware, then you need to find 2 enemies close together and something that you can climb so you can jump on them and kill them. It doesn't have to be super high but you'll have to land pretty much on them to kill them. Try to find 2 police guy around the city and shoot between them while they don't see you so they will investigate the area and get close together. Now activate your Berserk (r1.png+l1.png) jump and land on them to hopefully kill them both.

  • Use a dialogue option related to V's life path 10 times.

    MISSABLE

During the main and some of the side missions, you will have a lot of different dialogue choices. Some of them will have your starting lifepath attached to them (just on the left of the actual line of dialogue, can't really miss this) and you'll need to pick this choice at least 10 times.

There are a lot of opportunities towards the game, way more than 10 but make sure to pick them up each time you see them until you get it.
  • Buy all vehicles available for purchase.

There are 26 different vehicles that you need to purchase and it will cost you a lot of money (~ €$1,3M). As of patch 1.05, they completely reworked the economy system of the game and changed the prices of the vehicles to buy so you should now earn enough money from completing every main/side missions + gigs and NCPD scanners but to be sure, you should loot everything and every enemy you kill. Picking up their guns and selling them once and a while is a really great source of money.

The vehicles will be unlocked after levelling up your Street Cred, you'll need to be level 50 to unlock them all. You'll get phone calls letting you know where the vehicles are when you ride around the city, then they'll appear on your map and on your journal. If some don't, you'll have to drive around their areas to trigger them.

Here is a list of all vehicles (this is actually the name of the missions in your journal to make it easier):

    Watson:
    • Quartz EC-L R275 - (Northside)
    • Colby C125 - (Northside)
    • Galena G240 - (Little China)
    • Shion MZ2 – (Little China)

    Westbrook:
    • Kusanagi CT-3X - (Japantown)
    • Nazaré Racer - (North Oak)
    • Rayfield Aerondight “Guinevere” - (North Oak)
    • Maimai P126 - (Charter Hill)
    • Turbo-R 740 - (Charter Hill)

    City Center:
    • Columbus V340-F Freight - (Downtown)
    • Rayfield Caliburn - (Downtown) - Note that another Rayfield Caliburn is obtained after completing a side quest but you still need to buy this one
    • Emperor 620 Ragnar - (Corpo Plaza)
    • Quadra Type-66 Avenger - (Corpo Plaza)
    • Outlaw GTS - (Corpo Plaza)

    Heywood:
    • Thrax 388 Jefferson - (Wellsprings)
    • Cortes V5000 Valor - (Wellsprings)
    • Alvarado V4F 570 Delegate - (The Glen)
    • Apollo - (Vista Del Rey)

    Santo Domingo:
    • Supron FS3 - (Arroyo)
    • Mackinaw MTL1 - (Arroyo)
    • Thorton Colby CX410 Butte - (Rancho Coronado)
    • Type-66 640 TS - (Rancho Coronado)

    Badlands:
    • Thorton Colby “Little Mule” - (East of Santo Domingo)
    • Shion “Coyote” - (East of Santo Domingo)
    • Thorton Galena “Gecko” - (East of Santo Domingo)
    • Quadra Type-66 “Javelina” - (South-West of Pacifica)
    • Quartz "Bandit" - (East of Santo Domingo) - This one will appear like the others but you don't need to buy it, it doesn't count for this trophy
  • Craft 3 Legendary items.

The cheapeast and less-tedious Legendary items you can craft are the components. You can also craft some guns but it'll require more moterials and a blueprint so it's just easier to go for the components.

First, spend Attribute points in the Technical Ability tree until you're level 18.
Then buy the following Perks, for a total of 6 Perk points:
    • Edgerunner Artisan
    • True Craftsman
    • Grease Monkey
    • Tune-Up
    • Cost Optimization (x2)
Then go in the Crafting menu and look for the Legendary Item Components. It'll require you 7 Epic components to craft a Legendary component. If you don't have enough components, you can craft Epic components with 7 Rare components, you can craft Rare components with 7 Uncommon components and you can craft Uncommon components with 7 Common components. Craft all of that until you can't anymore. If you're still short of some components to craft the Legendary ones, go visit a Weapon sellers. Some of them sell Rare components (they might sell higher ones too but I've only seen the Rare ones). Buy them all and skip some time until they're back in store and buy as much as you can/need. Now keep crafting components until you're able to craft 3 Legendary items.
  • Kill or incapacitate 3 enemies with one "Detonate Grenade" quickhack.

This one is a tad annoying. The Netrunners don't seem to sell the Detonate Grenade quickhack but if they do for you congrats, you just skipped a tedious step, if not:

In order to craft the Detonate Grenade quickhack you need Level 16 in Intelligence and the Hacker Overlord perk to craft Epic quickhacks.

Then you need quickhack components, once again Netrunners can sell some, they were selling even the Legendary ones on my first playthrough but on my testing playthrough they were not so if you're unlucky, you'll need to loot them. For that buy the Datamine Mastermind perk in the Breach Protocol tree (Intelligence) and go in enemies areas, looking for Access Points. These Access Points are things that you can hack/interact with and when solvingtheir Breach Protocol puzzles, will net you some money and quickhacks components. You can find them in some enemies areas (NCPD gigs), scan the area and look for the red icons that look like an antenna. You can also buy the Head start to automatically upload the first daemon and then focus on the third line when solving the puzzle, this way you'll get lots of components. Once you have all the components required, craft the Detonate Grenade and equip it in the Cyberware menu (Operating System => Mods).

Next, go visit Netrunners and buy the Request Backup quickhack, they should sell this one because it's not an Epic or Legendary one. Equipe it too.

Finally find a group of enemies (NCPD gigs) use the Request Backup quickhack if needed to gather them in the same place and use the Detonate Grenade quickhack on one of them when they're close together. Note that if the enemies are on high levels it will cost you a lot of RAM so do that in Watson as the enemies are lower levels.
  • Kill or incapacitate 50 enemies while time is slowed.

First you need to buy a Cyberware that slows time, like the Dynalar Sandevistan that you can find at the Ripperdoc located in North Watson. You'll need level 6 in Reflexes. There are some other cyberware that slow time but only when you dodge or slide, which means you'd need the Multitasker perk from the Body tree. This one is less tedious as you just need to activate it and it slows time for a moment. Now grab your best gun, activate the time slow and kill some enemies. Rinse and repeat until it pops. You can also do that on police.

The Dynalar Sandevistan is also useful for Gunslinger trophy_bronze.png.
  • Perform the Distract Enemies quickhack 30 times without drawing attention to yourself.

When scanning with l1.png on an area with enemies, you can see many stuff like TV screens, lamps, etc that can distract the enemies. They will appear in green and you'll be able to use the Distract Enemies quickhack. Then if an enemy is close to that thing, he'll be attracted and will investigate the area for a few seconds. Make sure to not get detected.

You can do that pretty much everywhere as long as there's enemies but you can also farm this on the same enemy. You'll just have to wait until they finish to inspect the area (you'll see a timer above their heads).
  • After reviving with Second Heart, kill or incapacitate the enemy who killed you within 5 seconds.

Second Heart is a cyberware (Circulatory system) that can be bought at the ripperdoc located in South West Heywood.
You'll need to be level 49 Street Cred and 16 in Body tree. It'll also cost you €$42,000.

Once equipped, simply get killed by any enemy and as soon as you're up and running again, kill the one who killed you.
  • Kill or incapacitate 300 enemies using ranged weapons.

With all the story missions, side missions, gigs and everything, this will probably pop naturally over the course of the game as any firearm will count for that but if not, you can always trigger some police and farm this on them.
  • Kill or incapacitate 100 enemies using melee weapons.

Simply use melee weapons such as blades, bats, hammers and all that to kill 100 enemies or police guys.
  • Kill or incapacitate an enemy who threw a grenade at you.

A lot of enemies will throw grenades at you along the game, chances are you will get this trophy without even trying as it doesn't seem that you have a time limit to kill the enemies, simply need to kill them. If for any reason you don't have that by the end of the game, trigger some police by killing some civilians and wait for them to throw a grenade at you and defeat the one who did that.
  • Find all the tarot graffiti for the job Fool on the Hill.

There are 20 tarot graffitis to find in the game (+ 2 hidden ones but not required for this). None of them are missable.
You an either interact with them or scan them from a distance, then you'll obtain the card and you'll find them on your Tarot menu under Journal.

As soon as you get close to one of them, they will all appear on your map and then you'll just need to track them to find them all easily. You should get close to multiple of them during the main missions so you shouldn't have any trouble to pop them but if not, there's one on the wall on the right of your very first appartment.
Finding one will also trigger a side mission but you don't need to complete it.

    Here's where to find them:

    - Watson (7 graffitis):
    • Little China (5)
    • Arasaka Waterfront (1)
    • Kabuki (1)
    - Westbrook (4 graffitis)
    • North Oak (3) (the door code for the Northest one is 0000)
    • Japantown (1)
    - City Center (1 graffiti)
    • Corpo Plaza (1)
    - Heywood (2 grafittis)
    • The Glen (1)
    • Vista del Rey (1)
    - Santo Domingo (2 graffitis)
    • Arroyo (1)
    • Rancho Coronado (1)
    - Pacifica (1 graffiti)
    • Coast view (1)
    - Badlands (3 graffitis)
    • 1 South East of Pacifica
    • 1 North of Watson
    • 1 East of Santo Domingo
  • Find all fast travel dataterms.

As of patch 1.05, there are now 160 fast travel dataterms and you need to find all of them. They appear with a blue icon on your map whenever you are close to them, you do not need to interact with them, just walking/driving close to them to make them appear on your map is enough. Click here for a map showing the location of all of them: LINK (This is a pretty big map so if you have trouble opening it with your browser, it's best to download it and read it through your computer tools directly).
  • Reach max Street Cred.

Street Cred level max is level 50. You're required to reach max level not only for this but also to unlock all gigs, unlock some cyberware and some other stuff that you need for other trophies.

You level up your Street Cred simply by playing the game, completing main and side missions, completing gigs, NCPD missions and also by killing enemies so you can always farm that with the police even though you shouldn't need to as completing the missions and gigs shouls be enough to get you to max level.

This will pop after finishing the Prologue and the "Practice Makes Perfect" mission, whether you do the tutorial or not. The lifepath you choose has also no consequence.
  • Steal the Relic.

Story related and cannot be missed

This will pop at the end of Act 1, after completing The Heist mission.
  • Find Alt Cunningham.

Story related and cannot be missed

This will pop during Act 2, after completing the Transmission mission. There is a boss on this mission which should not pose any trouble on the easiest difficulty, just shoot them with any weapon you have and they'll be down in a couple seconds.

There is also another boss during the I walk the line mission, their weak spot is on their back so focus on this until they're down to kill them quickly.

A really great farming method can be used to obtain a lot of Eurodollars and Street Cred during I walk the line and you might want to take advantage of it since it's a one-time opportunity and that you'll need a lot of money later on in the game to buy all vehicles and other stuff.

  • Interrogate Anders Hellman.

Story related and cannot be missed

This will pop during Act 2, after completing the Life during wartime mission.

You will need to obtain €$15 000 to start this series of missions so do some other main missions first if you don't have enough and/or a few side missions while saving your money.
  • Talk with Hanako Arasaka.

Story related and cannot be missed

This will pop during Act 2, after completing the Search and Destroy mission.

There is a highly missable hidden objective to accomplish during this mission if you don't want to get permanently locked out of an ending, make sure to see The Devil trophy_silver.png  for more info on this.
  • Help Takemura avenge the death of Saburo Arasaka.

    Highly MISSABLE

This is related to one of the ending of the game but this one is highly missable due to something you need to do on a previous mission. Without that, you will still unlock the ending but nothing will pop.

During the mission Search and Destroy, you will need to save Takemura and this isn't an objective so it's very easy to miss this. After reaching his hideout and a bit of dialogue with him and another character, you will be ambushed and your next objective will be to leave the hotel - Don't do that! Instead, crouch on your left and make your way back to the hotel to save him. This is a hidden requirement needed to get the correct ending.

Then during the Nocturne OP55N1 mission, when you reach the rooftop and have a conversation with Johnny, you need to choose the following dialogue to get the correct ending:
    • Think trusting Arasaka’s risky but worth it
    • Take Omega Blockers
    • (if then you have the option to call Panam, don't and call Hanako instead)
You'll have another choice during the epilogue but it doesn't matter so choose whatever you want.

  • Leave Night City with the Aldecaldos.

This is related to one of the ending of the game but for this one you will need to complete Panam's side story missions so see Life of the Road trophy_bronze.png.

During the Nocturne OP55N1 mission, when you reach the rooftop and have a conversation with Johnny, you need to choose the following dialogue to get the correct ending:
    • Gonna ask Panam for help
    • Take Omega Blockers
    • Stand and call Panam (don't accept Hanako's offer)
After defeating Smasher, make sure to save your game so you can do 2 different endings without having to re-do everything until now.

When in the Cyberspace you'll have 2 possibilities:

    To unlock The Star trophy_silver.png:
    • Wanna live out whatever life I got left
    • Enter the Well to return to your body
    To unlock Temperance trophy_silver.png:
    • Body’s Johnny’s. I’ll go.
    • Cross the bridge and enter the Cyberspace forever
  • Become a legend of the Afterlife.

This is related to one of the ending of the game but for this one you will need to complete Rogue's side story missions so see Bushido and Chill trophy_bronze.png.

During the Nocturne OP55N1 mission, when you reach the rooftop and have a conversation with Johnny, you need to choose the following dialogue to get the correct ending:
    • Think you and Rogue should go
    • [Take pseudoendotrozine] - I am. Do your thing, Johnny.
After defeating Smasher, make sure to save your game so you can do 2 different endings without having to re-do everything until now. When in the Cyberspace you'll have 2 possibilities:

    To unlock The Sun trophy_silver.png:
    • Cross the bridge and enter the Cyberspace forever
    To unlock Temperance trophy_silver.png:
    • Enter the Well to return to your body
  • Let Johnny Silverhand keep your body.

This is related to one of the ending of the game but for this one you will need to complete either Panam's or Rogue's side story missions so see Life of the Road trophy_bronze.png or Bushido and Chill trophy_bronze.png.

The quickest way to unlock this ending is to go for The Star trophy_silver.png or The Sun trophy_silver.png and make a save after defeating Smasher.

    OR
    • Think you and Rogue should go
    • [Take pseudoendotrozine] - I am. Do your thing, Johnny.
Then after defeating Smasher and entering the Cyberspace, depending on your previous choice, you'll need to:
    • Enter the well if you chose Panam previously
    • Cross the bridge if you chose Rogue previously

You can also unlock this ending without doing Rogue's or Panam's side missions but it's a much more complicated process. You'll need to have a good relationship with Johnny all over the course of the game (it isn't tracked) then when on the rooftop you'll need to wait a few minutes without making any choice. Now you will trigger the secret ending, which is very difficult because there is no way to save during this new mission and if you die at any point the game will end and you'll miss the endings so it isn't recommended.
