Cruz Brothers is a Beat ‘em up game by a small Brazilian developer studio called DCF. The game contains several game modes, one of which is a story mode about some good old revenge. It’s a fun game with alright (cell shaded) graphics and if you’re a fan of the genre there’s definitely some fun to be had with this title. That being said, the enemy AI is quite relentless and even on the easiest settings this game can be brutal if you’re playing legit. Thankfully all of the trophies and thus platinum can easily be earned by exploiting just a few moves though, so if you’re looking for an easy and relatively quick platinum this game is definitely for you. Happy trophy hunting!
Easy wins move list/tips
The AI opponents in this game can be quite frustrating even on the easiest settings. Luckily you can exploit a few moves to win each match quite easily and virtually never lose a round, both in story mode and during the championships. You do this by basically spamming the ,
,
special move until your opponent is down and time the next one right when your opponent is getting up again. If your opponent managed to break your combo hold
to block and then use either
if you built up your super move (indicator in the bottom left of your screen) or
if you haven’t got a super move ready yet. It’s not the most exciting way to fight, but it guarantees you the wins.

Step 1 – Play through Story Mode
First things first, go to options from the main menu and put the difficulty to the easiest settings. You can now start with whatever mode from the menu so if you’re not confident with this type of game you can try a practice match or read the tutorials, but I recommend diving into the Story Mode straight away to save yourself some time. It starts off quite easy and gives you the opportunity to learn the moves in the first few matches. You probably won’t be using a lot of different moves anyway. The story mode consists of 13 chapters, each of them having you complete a number of fights. Going through the story the opponents will get moderately stronger, but nothing to be too concerned of. You’ll also automatically obtain a trophy for reaching level 5 through the experience points you get at the end of each match. For tips on how to easily win matches, along with visuals, please check the end of this walkthrough.
After completing the Story Mode you’ll have obtained these trophies:
- RYAN WATCH OUT!
- FIRST STEPS
- I’LL BE YOUR COACH
- ON YOUR KNEES!
- MY FIRST TITLE
- EAST, WEST, HOME’S BEST!
- AI MARQUINHO!
- CHEATER!
- REVENGE IS A B***!
- STREET BRAWLER
Step 2 - Championships
In this next step you’ll tackle the remaining trophies of the game by completing each of the 8 available championships from the main menu. Each championship consists of 7 fights and they get progressively harder and longer due to having to win more rounds per fight. You’re looking at a total of 56 matches total, with the last championships needing you to win a whopping 6 rounds per match. If you follow this guide you’ll only need to play one extra match outside of the championships to obtain enough experience points to bag the levelling up trophies at level 15 and 30 and to be allowed to take part in the later championships. For the best experience payout versus time spent you'll want to replay chapter 13 of the story mode once after you beat the first three championships. For tips on how to easily win matches, along with visuals, please check the end of this walkthrough.
After completing the Story Mode you’ll have obtained these trophies:
- PITBULL
- IN THE BOXING CLUB, THERE IS NO CHAMPION
- SUBVERSION KING
- OFFSHORE CHAMPION
- RECOVERED
- ARROMBADO!
- DUAL CHAMPION
- WORLD CHAMPION
- AMATEUR BOXER
- PROFESSIONAL
