Walkthrough

Step One - Career Mode

The first step to your Platinum trophy is to play and complete career mode to 100%, ultimately unlocking "Vision becomes Truth" for your efforts. Along the way you'll acquire a handful of story related trophies and you should aim to polish off some of the miscellaneous task based trophies also, although a fair amount of these may come naturally as you play. There are three trophies I highly advise you work towards right from the outset namely "Riot", "Test Driver" and "Hotshot", the latter of which being the only missable trophy in the game. I wouldn't go as far to say these trophies are a pain, however, it could be argued they require you to go against how you'd ordinarily play to earn them, so it’s best to start going for them early on.

Through career mode you also need to complete and win 4 championships in both areas of the game world, those being the city and autobahn areas. Once available the championships are accessed via the precinct spawn points in each location, and completing this step will net you all the game's vehicles, along with the "Garage Owner" trophy.

Step Two - Single Races

With Step One complete, the next task is to unlock the trophies associated with single race mode. You need to complete a race on every track to unlock "Track Tester" and should earn the "Pro" trophy along the way, as the tally of wins you gain here will be in addition to those you accumulated during career mode. The "Race King" and "Off-road King" trophies are tied to the Spirit-Raceway R and 4x4 Club Circuit R tracks respectively, so be sure to incorporate going for these two trophies as you progress through all the tracks. Finally, the last trophy you'll earn via single race mode is "State of Emergency" which is unlocked for causing 1 million dollars worth of damage during one race. Please refer to the Trophy Guide for the ideal settings to unlock this trophy.

Step Three - Multiplayer

The last step towards the Platinum is attaining the three multiplayer trophies - "First Online Victory", "Unlimited Health" and "Godmode". Unfortunately the online servers are a desolate wasteland, and there's no doubt you'll need to find yourself a boosting partner to complete this step. Personally I found boosting these trophies a real chore, not because the actual process is tricky or time consuming but as a result of countless connection losses midway through the boost. Whether this was an isolated issue for me or an issue that is common for multiple parties, I cannot be certain. Should you face the same situation just try to be patient, persistence will eventually prevail. Please refer to the Trophy Guide for the ideal settings to boost these trophies.

This trophy will unlock once you have earned all other trophies.
Unlocked upon completion of the game's other 32 trophies.

By all Means

Finish your career successfully.
This trophy and the preceding 1-4 level complete trophies unlock as you progress through the story. The story cases and assignments generate in real time whilst playing, so it's difficult to pinpoint exactly when these missions will present themselves. That being said there are certain things you should be doing to ease the process along:
- Firstly, check your Road Map often via the pause menu and look out for the magnifying glass icons, these indicate some story cases and informant missions, complete them whenever they are available.
- Secondly, you'll notice upon entering the main menu of career mode, you’re presented with various meters that relate to what's known in game as the "Power Split". Your progress along each meter is represented via the colour orange and The Syndicate's power by red. You need to progress your power past the small marker on each meter to be eligible for the next story case.
Vision becomes Truth

100% of the Single Player Game completed
In order to complete the single player career mode to 100%, you need to fulfil the following criteria:
- Complete all of the story cases.
- Arrest and jail, all 75 Syndicate members.
- Find and expose all of the Syndicate locations; 148 in total - 93 in the city, 55 on the autobahn.
- Install all the speed cameras; 155 in total - 78 in the city, 77 on the autobahn.
- Have all informants active; 12 in total - 6 in the city, 6 on the autobahn.
Garage Owner

Unlocked every car.
To unlock every car, you need to fulfil the following criteria:
- Complete all story cases in career mode.
- Complete and win 4 championships in the city area.
- Complete and win 4 championships in the autobahn area.
Track Owner

Unlocked every track.
To unlock all tracks, you need to fulfil the following criteria:
- Complete all story cases in career mode.
- Complete all 12 informant missions in career mode.
Test Driver

Driven every car in the game at least once.

Track Tester

Driven a race on every track in the game.
The full list of tracks can be seen below, you must complete one race on each:
- Autobahn Circuit tracks: Spirit-Raceway S, Spirit-Raceway SR, At the Harbour, In the City, 4x4-Club-Circuit, 4x4-Club-Circuit R, A Short Lap, Spirit-Raceway R, Spirit-Raceway, At the Quarry, Up the Hill, Harbour and Countryside, Junction to Junction, Speedy Streets, Endless Autobahn, A Big Lap.
- Autobahn Stage tracks: A Bit of Autobahn, Cross-country Trip, At the Camp site, Dust Clouds, Endless Autobahn.
- City Circuit tracks: Quick Lap, At the Stadium, At the Power Station, Inner City, Round the Block, Industrial Area, Back Yards, Round the Park, City Race, Old Town, A Lap Around the Rhine, All Across The Town, Full On, Warning! Trains!, East-West Connection, North-South Tangent, Freeway.
- City Stage tracks: From Rhine to Rhine, Shopping Spree, By the Rhine, The Spiral, Sightseeing, Go with the Current.
Peeping Tom

Installed every single camera possible.
There are a total of 155 speed cameras to install in the game world - 78 in the city area and 77 in the autobahn area. Installing speed cameras couldn't be more straightforward, simply drive and park next to them. They can be located by using the mini-map in the bottom left of your screen and progress can be tracked by consulting career mode's main menu. It's worth noting that installed cameras can be destroyed by Syndicate members, shortly after they will reappear and need reinstalling but thankfully however these instances are few and far between.

(You will not be able to install speed cameras until you've unlocked "The Syndicate" trophy for completing level 3 of the story).
Police Questioning

Activated every single informant possible.
There are a total of 12 informants you need to recruit to unlock this trophy. There are 6 in the city area and 6 in the autobahn area. Once available they can be located via either the mini-map in the bottom left of your screen (they appear as a red human figure icon) or the in-game Road Map located in the pause menu. Within the Road Map they are shown by using the magnifying glass icon. To actually activate and recruit an informant, you need to drive to them and complete their specific mission.

(You will not be able to recruit informants until you've unlocked "The Syndicate" trophy for completing level 3 of the story).
Race King

30 Laps on racing track "Sprit-Raceway (R)".

Set up a single race via the main menu with the following game settings:
- Nitro booster: On
- Vehicle Damage: Off
- Traffic: Off
- Track Type: Circuits
- Number of Laps: 30
- Number of Opponents: 1
- Opponents' Vehicles: Same
- Opponents' Strength: Easy
Now pick the Spirit-Raceway R track and proceed to complete the race. While this trophy doesn’t take quite as long as "Off-road King", it’s still a fairly lengthy grind. As a reference, I used the Excellence CTR car and completed the race in around 40 minutes.
Off-road King

30 Laps on off-road track "4x4 Club Circuit (R)".
Set up a single race via the main menu with the following game settings:
- Nitro booster: On
- Vehicle Damage: Off
- Traffic: Off
- Track Type: Circuits
- Number of Laps: 30
- Number of Opponents: 1
- Opponents' Vehicles: Same
- Opponents' Strength: Easy
Now pick the 4x4-Club-Circuit R track and proceed to complete the race. There’s no doubt it will take you a fair amount of time and the process can get rather tedious. As a reference, I used the Excellence CTR car and completed the race in around 56 minutes.
Amateur

Won 10 single races.
Please refer to "Pro".
Pro

Won 50 single races.
Unlocked for winning 50 single races across all game modes. This trophy and "Amateur" really needn't be worried about as you will win well in excess of 50 races going for the game's other trophies, namely "Vision becomes Truth" and "Track Tester".
Pilgrim

Driven 1000 km in the game.
This will come naturally whilst working towards the game's other trophies, simply keep playing until you reach the 1000km target total. Progress towards this trophy can be checked at any time via the main menu statistics page.
Hotshot

Destroyed 10 enemies.
This trophy is missable.

Any time you are tasked with bringing a Syndicate member to a stop, you have two (and later three) options. You can block their path and hold them up for a few seconds, or you can crash into them multiple times ultimately wrecking their car. You need to perform the latter technique a total of ten times, before you jail all 75 Syndicate members to obtain this trophy.

Riot

Made 100 vehicles explode.
This could be deemed a step up from the "Roadhog" trophy. Instead of hitting a car with moderate speed, the speed needed to explode another car is significant. Your best bet is to collide head on with another vehicle, whilst utilising your Nitro boost (). You will know you've exploded another vehicle as they burst into flames following impact.

Rampage

Trashed 1000 Objects.
There are objects littered in abundance throughout Crash Time 4's game world. Lamp posts, traffic lights, road signs, poster boards, plant pots, bus shelters, food carts and many many more, just keep driving through them and they will count towards the trophy. The 1000 target total needed may sound like a lot but in reality you can rack up this number rather swiftly, if you actively seek to knock things over.
Roadhog

Collided 100 times with traffic.
In order to register a collision with another car, you have to hit said car with moderate speed from any angle - lightly grazing another vehicle will not count towards the 100 total you need.

State of Emergency

Caused €1 million damage during one race.
Thankfully this trophy isn’t as tricky as you may think. Head to the single race option and apply the following game settings:
- Nitro booster: On
- Vehicle Damage: Off
- Traffic: Rush hour
- Track Type: Circuits
- Number of Laps: 10
- Number of Opponents: 1
- Opponents' Vehicles: Same
- Opponents' Strength: Easy
Now pick any lengthy track and any car you're comfortable with and start the race. Due to the fact vehicle damage is off, it enables you to ram into the countless other vehicles without incurring any damage to yourself. Ignore the race and keep racking up vehicle damage, as you have ample time to achieve the $1,000,000 total due to the 10 lap setting. This means there is no fear of the race ending before you reach your goal.
Clean Lap

Drove a lap without causing any damage.

Clean Race

Finished one race without causing any damage.
A "clean" lap is a lap in which you make no contact of any form with other racers, obstacles or walls, so naturally a clean race is a race in which you maintain this for however many laps the race consists of.
Long Jump

Jumped 100 m.
If you're struggling to find somewhere to achieve a 100m jump, an easy location is as follows:

Choose one of the faster cars and spawn at the "Construction site" in the city area. As soon as you've spawned look immediately behind your car and above, you'll notice a large pipe conveniently slanting upwards. Unsurprisingly it's this pipe you're going to be using for the 100m jump. You need to ensure you've generated a fair bit of speed before you exit the pipe, so utilise your Nitro boost () and get a nice long run up before entering the pipe. This may take you a couple of attempts, ensure you land cleanly to unlock the trophy.
Free Fall

Fell 30 m.
If you're struggling to find somewhere to achieve a 30m freefall, an easy location is as follows:

Spawn at the "Quarry Access Road North" in the autobahn area. Within the quarry there are various opportunities to engineer a drop of this depth. Navigate up to the top edge of the quarry, reverse back then drive forward generating as much speed as possible aiming for the centre of the quarry. Upon safe landing the trophy will unlock, (this may take you a couple of attempts).
Wrong Direction

Driven 200 m backwards.
This trophy is best done in career mode as there's no chance you'll deviate off a "track" as you would during a single race, which results in the game picking you up and dropping you back on course. To obtain the trophy, simply drive backwards for 200m - which in game terms is a very short distance indeed.
Car-Scrap Bonus

Totaled your car.
You'll notice when driving, you have a spanner icon and number located in the top left hand corner of your screen, this icon indicates your car's current damage. To obtain this trophy you have to keep damaging your vehicle until the number reaches 100%, which upon achieving will "write-off" your car. As you would expect, higher speed crashes will incur more damage.
No Speed-Limit

Driven 280 km/h for 15 seconds.
You'll most likely achieve this feat without even intending to on the long sections of the autobahn, however if you’re struggling, an easy way to unlock the trophy is to load up a single race on the "Endless Autobahn" track. It's advisable to also turn traffic off, thus removing any obstacles and handing you a wide open road. Most cars are suitable for this but obviously quicker cars are more ideal for the task at hand. When the race starts build up and maintain a speed of over 280 km/h for 15 seconds, which will be no hassle at all along the vast stretches of the autobahn.
First Online Victory

Won an online event (ranked or standard) in any mode.

Unlimited Health

Played a deathmatch to the end without dying.
Please refer to "Godmode".
Godmode

Won a deathmatch without dying.
Via the online multiplayer menu, create a 2 player deathmatch game and apply the following options:
- District: Any
- Deathmatch Mode: Classic
- Game Area: Any
- End of game: After kills
- Game duration: 1 Kill
- Nitro booster: On
- Traffic: Off
- Fire: On
Now simply win the deathmatch to unlock all three multiplayer trophies in one short game.
