  • Special peripherals or multiple controllers needed: You'll need two Move-controllers and a Playstation Eye Camera

Introduction:
The game is pretty fun if you like being challenged in games. There are no missable or glitched trophies registered by now so you won’t have to worry about that. Playing through story mode is pretty fast, but doing all the challenges will take some time (probably most of your time). The multiplayer trophies can be done rather quickly and is a good way to learn the basic steering of the game. The key in this game is patience and practice! You’ll spend some time finding your personal sweet spot in every game, but when you’ve done so, the game is easy enough and quite enjoyable. I could have listed some tips, but since they are specific for every game and the game overall I’ve included them in the trophy guide for the four gold trophies. Have fun playing the game!

Walktrough:
Step 1: Getting to know the game - multiplayer:
Setup your user, but instead of starting the story go into party mode. Play each of the 28 games - some with two move-controllers, some using only one. Play at least one round of Pick and Play and one round of Party Time.
This is an easy step that should be completed rather quickly.
Note: this step can be done at another time if you don't want to start with it - though I would advise you to start with it. That way you'll get to know the game and learn some of the games.

Trophies you should work towards in step 1:
Any Way
My Way
Every Way
Pass It
Side-By-Side

Step 2: Story time - playing the story:
Now that you've done the multiplayer part and you've gotten to learn how the game works you're ready to play the story. Play through the story, completing at least two challenges of each of the games to unlock the next game and so on. This step will net you a fair number of trophies and shouldn't be difficult as you can choose freely between the challenges.
Feel free to refer to the four gold trophies where I've written some tips for every single game!

Trophies you should work towards in step 2:
Up And Comer
Midway Tour
Restoration
Seaside Set
Funky Trunks
Bird Watcher
Extinction Distinction
Up and Away
Engage!
Fly the Flags
The Way Home
Boardwalk Reopened!
Shell Beach Reopened!
Ferris Park Reopened!
Tree House Way Reopened!

Step 3: The difficult part - completing the challenges:
This is without a doubt the most difficult part of the game. This is also mainly where people give up on the platinum. In this step, you're going to replay every type of games where you haven't completed every nine challenges - this will most likely be all the 35 games. But fear not! Most of the challenges can be gotten after a few rounds of practice. Also every time you complete a challenge you've had some problems with you'll have a good feeling of having accomplished something!
Feel free to refer to the four gold trophies where I've written some tips for every single game!

Trophies you should work towards in step 3:
Casual Challenges
Hero Challenges
Boardwalk Master
Shell Beach Master
Ferris Park Master
Tree House Way Master

Step 4: Big spender - use your tickets:
Those tickets you've won through part 2 and 3 can't, sadly, be used in real life so you might as well use them in-game. To buy every prize in the game you'll need a total of 1785 tickets. To buy every balloon you'll need at least 180 tickets (but I would advise you to have around 450-500 tickets. See why in Balloon Boon. If we include the 300 tickets for Magic Mirror you'll need around 2500-2600 tickets. This shouldn't be a problem as I personally had 4680 tickets after completing the challenges. This step is in no way challenging.

Trophies you should work towards in step 4:
Chotchkies!
Balloon Boon

Step 5: The clean-up - get whatever you might have missed:
If you haven't been playing with the toys, haven't been listening to all the gossip or haven't taken the 36 pictures know is the time - I assume you want that shiny platinum know?
Look at the trophies in the trophy guide for help if needed.

Trophies you should work towards in step 5:
Carnival Master
Magic Mirror
Cannon-Aid
Flying Champion
All Wet
Gossip Hound
Animal Friend
Film Roll

  • Listen to all the gossip Granny and the Carnies know.

I sure hope you like gossip, because here you’re going to get some. In each of the four parts of the park (Boardwalk, Shell Beach, Ferris Park and Tree House Way) there are 2 attractions, 1 balloon seller and 1 Granny’s Booth. That means you have to speak with 4x4=16 persons. Each of the people have five pieces of gossip, making it 16x5=80 times you have to press . See what I said about a lot of gossip

  • All souvenirs won!

With “won” it means “bought”. This is where all your sweet tickets will be used. There are a total of 59 prizes and balloons to buy so just get going. Besides the normal prizes there are also 4 unique (more expensive) prizes you can interact with.

To obtain the 36th, pet you'll have to buy the Confetti Cannon - see the Cannon-Aid trophy. After buying it choose it from the Boardwalk map. Then just keep firing the cannon until a pet comes out of it.

Secret trophies

  • Use the Confetti Cannon.

Go to Boardwalk --> Granny's Booth. Buy the Confetti Canon for 150 tickets. From the Boardwalk map choose the canon and fire it one time for the trophy to pop.

  • Use the Bubble Flyer.

Go to Ferris Park --> Granny's Booth. Buy the Bubble Flyer for 200 tickets. From the Ferris Park map choose your newly bought Bubble Flyer and fly it around a bit until the trophy pops.

  • Use the Dancing Fountains.

Go to Shell Beach --> Granny's Booth. Buy the Dancing Fountain for 150 tickets. From the Shell Beach map choose the fountain and change the colors of it until the trophy pops.

  • Launch the Carnival into the air!

    *Story-related*
After having reopened the first part of the park a cut scene will start. After the cut scene this trophy will pop.

    *Story-related*
After having reopened the second part of the park a cut scene will start. After the cut scene this trophy will pop.

After having reopened the third part of the park a cut scene will start. After the cut scene this trophy will pop.

  • Restore the Lighthouse and bring the Carnival home.

    *Story-related*
After having reopened the fourth and last part of the park a cut scene will start. After the cut scene this trophy will pop. This is also the end of the story.

  • Save 36 images from the Magic Mirror!

Very easy trophy to get. Just go to the Magic Mirror found in Ferris Park. Buy at least one of the upgrades (100 tickets), snap 36 pictures and save them. When the 36th picture has been saved, the trophy will pop.

  • Buy one of each kind of balloon from the Balloon Vendor.

In this game there are 4 Balloon Carts - one in each of the four parts of the map. Each of these carts sells 9 unique balloons. You can only buy a random balloon meaning that there is a chance of getting the same balloon multiple times. Each balloon costs 5 tickets. That means you have to have at least 180 tickets to buy the 36 balloons. At one cart, I used 85 tickets, and at another cart I used 210 tickets. Since there is a risk of having to buy a lot of balloons I would not recommend attempting this before having 500 tickets - that way you should have enough tickets to get them all.

This trophy is required to get the Chotchkies! trophy.

  • All Casual Challenges defeated!

In each of the 35 games there are 5 casual challenges - these will have a blue/green color. Completing these will be required to get the four gold trophies for defeating all the challenges in each of the parts of the map. Some of these will be an easier step of the legendary or carnival hero challenges.

  • All Carnival Hero Challenges defeated!

In each of the 35 games there are 3 carnival hero challenges - these will have a orange color. Completing these will be required to get the four gold trophies for defeating all the challenges in each of the parts of the map. Some of these will be an easier step of the legendary challenges.

  • All challenges beat in Boardwalk!

See Tree House Way Master general for info. The only difference is the games in question. In this case the games are Ringers and Mini-Bowl. When in-game press to open up the challenge-menu.

Specific game tips: General tip for ringers: throw the rings like a freebee - if you flip it the edge might hit the bottle/horn/rocket instead!

Ringers: There are basically two types of challenges: 1: hitting the same bottle 2: hitting different bottles. Learn how much power you'll need to hit the 50/75/100/200/300 bottle. For 2700 points try to hit 4 rings on one 300-bottle and 5 rings on the other 300-bottle. When throwing 9 rings on the same bottle aim for one of those in the front - there will be less power to push off another ring when throwing the last one. When hitting nine different bottles I used the two rows in the back.

Rockets: Actually quite easy challenges. For launching a big rocket without any small ones remove the 3/4 rockets surrounding a larger rocket, then hit the large one - go for one of those in the back since the big rockets tend to block for some of the smaller ones when attempting to do this with those in front. The rest is just a question of practice.

Narwhal Rings: 2700 points is earned by hitting the 300-point narwhals. After some practice these will be easy to get. My biggest challenge was throwing all the rings in 25/50. For 50 just throw towards the middle. For hitting 25 points 9 times i found that throwing at a spot a little away from the middle was easier.

Peg-It: This one is more difficult. Getting 3000 points will take some practice, but will get you most of the challenges. For throwing all the rings in the 50/100 field i found flipping the rings was better. Also try and land the first rings in the back of the fields, then move forward.

Mini-Bowl: For the legendary challenge you'll have to learn how much power you'll need to hit the holes. You have to hit 10,20,30,40,50,100,100 (in that order). Also this has to be in the first seven shots! For the others (9 shots in the same hole) just take your time and aim.

Snake in the Grass: A bit luck based. Legendary (finding the three snakes) and Fields of Green (finding the seven spots of grass) are the most difficult. Legendary is based on luck. For finding the grass try to guess how long the snakes will be - sometimes you can figure out where NOT to hit. Note: you'll only need a little power to hit the holes in front.

Jackpot Lane: For Cherry Picker find a sweet spot and just keep hitting that hole - ignore the other challenges in that round. To get a jackpot you'll have to have the same color in all of the columns (either purple, yellow or red). Getting a jackpot will reward you with a extra shot - making it possible to do the legendary challenge if you don't miss any shots.

Knock 'Em Out: For doing 1000 points start by throwing a ball into the 100 points hole. In the following shot try to push the ball out of the 100-circle. This will get you an extra 100 points + wherever the first ball lands - repeat. For filling up every hole I found throwing overhand was best when aiming for the 75 spots - then underhand for the rest.

Rollin' Racers: Here you'll have to replay the race quite a few times. For legendary go for the 30-point hole and you should be fine. For only hitting (and not hitting) the bonus be aware that it moves from time to time. I found the challenge where you have to move from left to right to be the most difficult. In six shots you'll have to hit the left slot, second from left slot, left of the middle shot, right of the middle slot, second from the right slot and the slot to the right (in that order). Practices makes perfect and you don't need to win.

  • All challenges beat in Shell Beach!

See Tree House Way Master for general info. The only difference is the games in question. In this case the games are Frog Bog and Hoops. When in-game press to open up the challenge-menu.

    Specific game tips:
Hoops: For legendary make sure you go for the bonus basket (the one that glows) at every shot. Try not to miss any shots as you'll get a pretty good bonus for getting 10/20/30 in a row. After a few practice rounds you should know how high you should throw. For bouncing the ball you'll have to use some more power - here you should also go for the 10-point basket.

Topsy-Turvey: This one can be a little tricky. You'll most likely get the legendary challenge when doing some of the others. Getting 10 triple shots is difficult since it takes some time to line up the baskets. When they are lined up avoid missing your shot and it should be easy enough. It might be a good idea to start locking the top one as the middle one will below a little afterwards.

Hot Shot: Some people say this challenge is really difficult - maybe they are just too slow? Any way catching 40 balls in a row surely is a challenge, but if you remember that you can tilt your basket (by tilting the move-controller) it'll be easier. You should try to get the first 40 balls as the first of them will come from only 1/2/3 cannons instead of all four. Don't look at the basket, just focus on the balls - "feel" where the basket is. That way you can always see where the next balls will land.

On the Move: There are a total of 8 different positions in this game - the three last ones will require you to use some more power. Getting through two whole laps will require you to be fast. Doing one lap only by bouncing the balls of the ground is pretty easy due to the fact that you'll have a lot of time.

Triple Threat: This is like tic-tac-toe just with basketballs. When going for points make triples. Triples are gotten when you've lit up 1,2,4,6,8,9 (or 2,3,4,6,7,8) and then throw the ball into 5 - refer to the "table" below for location of the numbers. Doing a X: 1,3,7,9 then 5. Doing a cross: 2,4,6,8 then 5. Table:

    1 2 3
    4 5 6
    7 8 9

Frog Bog: For legendary find a good spot - you'll have to get all the frogs into the 80. I personally got them when they were closest to me - found out how hard, and when, I was supposed to swing. For going into the water just do the same, but a bit earlier/later to land between the lily pads.

Hopper Boppers: The tower can be placed in three ways when loading the game: 1: three stacks in the middle. 2: a lot of small stacks. 3: three stacks in the outer circle. When having the third setup I found it easier to hit them all in 30 seconds - as well as getting lots of points in one shot.

Flyin' Frogs: Obviously avoid any trees and branches by tilting the move controller. You'll be able to guide the frogs around. Pointing the move-controller towards the camera will make the frog fly lower and faster, pointing it down can save you from what was going to look like a shot with to mush power. Pointing at the ceiling will make your frog move higher and slower, but it might become difficult to see where your target is.

Water Wheel: These challenges are almost the same. You can almost use the same strategy for every trophy. When shooting the frogs in the water I shot the frog towards the right wheel (the slowest of them) just when either the lily pad or flower passed by. Then the frog would miss and fall into the water.

Swamp Gas: For controlling the frog please refer to the Flyin' Frogs game. Doing the legendary challenge will get you most of the other challenges. This legendary challenge will take some time so feel free to sit on a chair while doing it - this might also make it easier for you to concentrate. Hitting the green poison will instant-kill your frog, so watch out! I've made a quick drawing (seen below) of how I got the legendary challenge. You'll have to hit every mushroom with every frog (=350 points) then hit the MIDDLE of each lily pad (=240 points). Be aware of swamp gas and lack of vision when moving backward!
I used the following routes (please refer to my drawing):
    A:1,2,3,4,5 - B:1,2,3,4,5 - C: 1,2,3,5,4 - D: 1,2,3,5,4 - E: 1,2,3,5,4 - F: 1,2,3,4,5 - G: 1,2,3,5,4
Please note that you might find another routing working better for you!

  • All challenges beat in Ferris Park!

See Tree House Way Master for general info. The only difference is the games in question. In this case the game is Coin Toss. When in-game press to open up the challenge-menu.

    Specific game tips:
Coin Toss: For legendary you'll have to get a lot of coins on the 80. Filling up the 50 and making some of them fall down on the 80 might work. Moving one coin to another point circle will give you more points.

Nom Nom: Many of the challenges will require you to make the monster spit out coins. This can be done by hitting the flashing space (10/50/80/20/30) and in the following throw tossing a coin into the mouth of the monster.

Gold Digger: This challenge is a bit luck based - some challenges depends on you finding the treasure in X number of throws. Since there is no timer in this game just take your time aiming when going for the legendary challenge.

Teacup Towers: Doing the legendary challenge will complete the rest of the challenges. Start with the cups in the back but do not raise them to the 4th level if you haven't found the arrow!

Roundabout: When going for points make sure that you'll get the bonus in the upper tier. When getting the bonus and 50 in one throw you'll have to learn the tempo of how fast the lower tier spins AND learn how fast the coin falls from the upper tier. If you have problems with hitting the 50 multiple times just aim at that one without going for the upper tier.

  • All challenges beat in Tree House Way!

For this trophy you'll have to complete all the challenges for all types of Shooting Gallery and Perfect Pitch. That's a total of 50 casual, 30 carnival hero and 10 legendary challenges. This trophy (as well as the other gold trophies) are without a doubt the most challenging trophies in the game. The will require some practice and patience - and on the way probably some frustration. When in-game press to open up the challenge-menu.

    Specific game tips:
Shooting Gallery: To make the raccoon appear you have to shoot all the bottles/cans that appear from time to time. For the bulls eye challenges just take your time when aiming.

Bandits: Here the bulls eye challenges are the most difficult. For 10/20 bulls eyes I would advise you to only focus on the big guys (on the top track and from the ceiling). For legendary you have to hit a couple of mice (combined with the big guys). Simply ignore one of the two mice tracks. When done with the ten bulls eyes simple shoot the rest of the enemies.

Raccoon Saloon: In the game the bottles will not be placed the same way every time. Creating chain reactions is your best bet to remove every bottle/can. Shoot those in front and try to time it and aim them at those in the back. For 1000 point shots try and see if you can make one green bottle hit another green bottle.

Fort McCannon: For legendary simply hit 29 red balls in 29 shots (do not aim for the bonus balls). For going from 500/1000 points to 0 hit bonus/red balls until 1000 points, then go for the purple ones.

Shoot Out: This boils down to two things: Legendary challenge and X bulls eyes in a row. For bulls eyes just take your time to aim and hit - go for those in the front as their targets are bigger. For legendary simply hit every enemy.

Perfect Pitch: For legendary my advice is to find out where you have to aim on your TV/wall for hitting the bottles. Put down something on the floor so you know where you should stand - this is your personal sweet spot for this game. If hitting between two of the bottle in the middle stack (on the lowest row) you might be that lucky that you'll take down to whole stacks in one shot giving you an extra shot for later. For bottle-specific trophies just avoid those that have to be left. Throw overhand for taking down a whole stack, use underhand for accuracy in case you've missed 1/2 bottles.

Wrecking Ball: Find a good angle to swing at/from. On the first stack I saw that there were some light on the board that the jewels where standing on. After some tries I found that aiming between the 2nd and 3rd light (from left or right side) would knock off the jewels almost every time. For the other stages you'll have to make the ball go in circles.

Gopher Trouble: Not hitting vegetables and hitting the animals will get you the trophies. Legendary is not that challenging, but try finding a sweet spot and then just take down the animals starting from the back. Underhand is advised since accuracy is needed here.

Flip Four: I found that you have to make quite low throws for this one. To turn every card in four throws you have to hit the corners of four cards in one throw. Underhand is advised since accuracy is needed here.

Boom Town: This is sort of like Perfect Pitch, just with exploding balls. Almost the same challenges except the airburst one. For this one try to knock the cans into the basket without hitting the stacks. Press the Move-button to make the balls explode. Once again I would recommend underhand as the power of the ball doesn't affect the power of the airburst.
