Welcome to Caravan Stories! Developed and published by Aiming and originally released on Android devices in November 2017; followed by a PC release in July the following year. This fantasy-themed MMORPG has now reached new heights on PlayStation 4 in April of 2019, which marks the first time the game is available in English.

The game takes place in the world of Iyarr, a classical fantasy world that is home to six different races, the Humans, Elves, Orcs, gessy, dwarves and the lizardmen. Each race in the game comes with their own unique storylines upon creating them, complete with different locales and characters within the game's world. Players can also use Caravans, which serve as the game's traveling system that allows players to forge bonds with their party members and provide faster travel to different locations among many others the game has to offer.

NOTE: North American version information

On September 10th, 2019, the game has finally started service in North America following a delay from its original July 23rd launch date. This version adds two new trophies that are unique to this release; one for winning 10,000 battles and another for turning 1,000 beasts into allies. This alone turns the game into a massive grind in contrast to the Japanese and Asian releases.

Step 1: Enjoy the game to your heart's content!

Unlike other MMORPG's, Caravan Stories features a very simple and straightforward trophy list, where you can easily unlock trophies simply by playing through part of the game's story. Keep in mind that, as stated in the introduction, each of the five races (the sixth race, Lizardman, is currently unavailable) have their own unique story arc that is different from one another and it might affect the order in which you unlock each trophy in.

Upon completing this step, the following trophies will be unlocked:

Proof of Travel
Beast Hunter
Battle Frenzy
Quest for Companions

Step 2: The Long Grind

NOTE: This step only applies to the North American version of the game, because neither of these trophies do not exist in the Japanese and Asian versions.

After getting the first step taken care of, you will now find yourself going for an extremely long grind that you didn't have to do in the Japanese version, which means that you will now need to win 10,000 battles and turn any 1,000 beasts into your allies. this is an extremely long grind so be sure to level up and continue to venture through the game's story as usual, because the game's beasts will become stronger than normal.

Upon completing this step, the following trophies will be unlocked:

King of the Beasts
King of the Battle Caravan

6 trophies ( 2  )

  • Unlocked 1 Caravan Post.

After learning how to customize your caravan upon meeting Polka for the first time, you will warp back to the area he tells you to warp to. This is where you will find your first Caravan Post following an interaction between your party and whoever interacts with you upon returning there.

Caravan Posts are warp zones that allow the player to warp between areas with the world map installed inside your caravan once they are activated. For an example of a Caravan Post, please refer to the following screenshots:

Top Screenshot: An inactive Caravan Post (colored red)
Bottom Screenshot: An active Caravan Post (colored blue)

Once the Caravan Post is activated, not only will you unlock this trophy but you will also activate another area you can fast travel to instead of having to travel there by foot.

  • Turned 1 Beast into an Ally.

In order to unlock this trophy, you will need to successfully turn any beast you come across into an ally, this will happen naturally as you progress through the story.

Whenever you get into a battle with an enemy, you will sometimes see one of your party members comment that the beast you are fighting against would actually want to be your friend and while you will have to defeat it like usual, you will not return to the field as soon as the battle's over; instead, you will now get a window that asks whether or not you want that beast to join your party as a permanent ally:

Select Yes, then the beast will convert from an enemy to one of your allies and from that point forward, you will begin to see it fight alongside you and your allies in combat.

  • Completed 10 battles.

To initiate a battle, you will need to walk closer to a nearby beast on the field and press to start the fight. If there is more than one beast present at once, you can press either or to switch between which beast you want to fight against. For an example of a beast that is present on the field, please refer to the following screenshot:

Unlike most other MMO's and JRPG's, the combat in Caravan Stories is done automatically, meaning that players will normally find themselves fighting against beasts without pressing any buttons, but you can activate skills by pressing and switch between targets by pressing either or while in battle. You will unlock this trophy upon completing your tenth battle for the first time.

  • Gathered 10 materials.

In Caravan Stories, materials, such as flowers and tools, can be used to either upgrade your Caravan's facilities or craft equipment like in other MMO's. They can be found scattered around fields, including towns. For an example of a material that can be found while travelling through fields, please refer to the screenshot below.

To collect a material, you will simply need to walk to it. A window will show up afterwards telling you the name of the material you have collected, along with its icon. Collecting ten of these, regardless of whichever one you pick up, will unlock this trophy. Thankfully, the number of times you have collected the same material (such as three flowers or four tools, for instance) will also count towards the trophy.

  • Turned 3 heroes into allies in story quests.

As you progress through the story, you will come across characters who will join your party after helping them during story quests that trigger when you reach a certain point in the map.

By tradition, your first two allies will join you early on in the game's story, but you won't find your third ally until later when you gain a caravan and progress through the story from there, and when you get a quest where you will meet an ally, you should be presented with a window that looks like this:

Heroes will become your allies after completing a battle that takes place during the Hero Story you are playing in and once you have completed it, you will gain a new ally that will join your party and fight alongside you in battles. Recruiting three allies while progressing through the story will unlock this trophy.

  • Cleared 10 types of Quests.

As with other traditional MMORPG's, Caravan Stories also includes quests, which give the player specific tasks which reward them with items upon completing them. To look at the details of the quest you are playing in, you will need to use the to navigate the in-game menu on the left side of the screen, which can be seen in the following screenshot:

Afterwards, you can press on the quest you are highlighting to view details such as its rewards, criteria etc., and after you complete a quest, all the awards that are in its details will be awarded to you. You can also use the auto function to automatically take you to the destination where you will complete your quest at.

You will unlock this trophy upon completing your tenth quest, which will come naturally when going for the other trophies as you play through the game.
