After finding a mysterious map floating in a bottle at sea, three Burly Bearded Men (Hasty Beard, Brave Beard, and Steady Beard) set sail to find the meaning to the map. Every decision they make along the way changes the story, creating 12 possible endings. With each adventure finished, the stories of their travels are written in books which are placed on a shelf to be read along with previous adventurers who answered the call of the sea. The game loops indefinitely, so once you've discovered one ending, you may immediately begin your adventure to find the next.

Single player only. The and share a trophy list and the cross-save feature is available so you can easily switch between the two systems.

Secret trophies

  • It’s dark inside the whale, but the men appear to be intact.

    Story Related. Cannot Be Missed.

This trophy will unlock when you first set sail and start your adventure.

  • “Aye, they’ll float,” nods Steady Beard.

When you are inside the whale, you will have the option to exit wearing barrels, exit without wearing barrels, and to sit and wait.

Go all the way to left and interact with the barrels twice to put them on. Exit into the whale’s throat and interact with the uvula. The trophy will unlock once you are outside of the whale.

If following the Roadmap, this will be the start to all of the "Barrel Endings".

  • “Give me water, and I’ll teach it to carry me!”

When you are inside the whale, you will have the option to exit wearing barrels, exit without wearing barrels, and to sit and wait.

Go left and exit into the whale’s throat (without putting on the barrels). Interact with the uvula. The trophy will unlock once you are outside of the whale.

  • “Really very sorry for scuttling your promotion and all that,” offers Steady Beard.

After putting on the barrels and exiting the whale, you will come across the Grim Reaper who would like to race.

When the race starts, move the cursor over Grim and hold . He will start to slow down and the Bearded Men will begin to take the lead (note that the cursor will not stay over Grim as he slows down, this is okay). When Grim is in last, he will lose the race. The trophy will unlock during the dialogue after he loses.

  • “Shouldn’t you be a bit more chipper, having won and all?” prods Steady Beard.

After putting on the barrels and exiting the whale, you will come across the Grim Reaper who would like to race.

When the race starts, move the cursor over Hasty Beard (the blonde one in the lead) and hold . He will start to slow down and Grim will begin to take the lead (note that the cursor will not stay over Hasty as he slows down, this is okay). When Hasty is in last, Grim will win the race. The trophy will unlock during the dialogue after he wins.

  • “Right, then. Let’s be off!” commands Brave Beard, striking a leaderly pose.

After exiting the whale without putting on the barrels or waiting, you will come across a green Jellyfish. He will try and grab the Bearded Men with his tentacles.

When one of his tentacles lands on his head, move the cursor over it and hold . One of the Bearded Men will come over and hold the tentacle down. Do this again on the other side (so they are holding two tentacles). The Bearded Men will tie them together, essentially “defeating” the Jellyfish. The trophy will unlock during the next set of dialogue.

Wait for the Jellyfish to grab one of the Bearded Men. When it does, interact with the Tentacle to make the Jellyfish drop him. Do this again two more times (so three times total). The Jellyfish will get angry and drag the Bearded Men underwater. The trophy will unlock during the next set of dialogue.

  • “Quick, while we’ve a chance!” whispers Hasty Beard, leading the way to the boat.

After waiting with the girls to exit the whale, you will find yourself on a small Island. Go right until you see a small red bird sitting on a rock. Interact with the bird. After the dialogue, go right until you see your ship. After some more dialogue, you will have the option to interact with the "flower" or interact with your ship.

Swim right with or and stop swimming once they move up slightly (make sure to keep all three seals in the designated area) - the circle they are in will form a corner on the top right side, stop swimming when this happens.
