Road Map

Overview:
  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (Platinum Difficulty Rating)
  • Offline trophies: 43 (33, 6, 3, 1)
  • Online trophies: 2 (2)
  • Approximate amount of time to Platinum: 36-50hrs (Estimated Time to Platinum)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1 + Cleanup
  • Number of missable trophies: I Mustache You A Question might be missable if done in Co-Op but if you use a pre-levelled character, then You Got Skills , Star Bound , Welcome to the Crimson Raiders , So Long, Pandora! and NOG It Off are missable as well.
  • Glitched trophies: See the note in the Introduction for more details.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No so play on Easier ( => Options => Gameplay => General => Difficulty => Easier)
  • Do trophies stack?: Yes, the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game have separate lists.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available
  • Additional peripherals required?: Having a second controller will make I Hope You Didn't Tea-bag and Stay Away From The Light quicker to get. Also, PS Plus is only required if you want to use matchmaking or play online with your friends so isn't needed for the Gun Pals! and Stay Golden trophies.

Introduction:

BL3's gameplay is a lot more refined than in previous games and the trophy list is much simpler as well, with no character specific or raid boss trophies this time around and nothing is missable. Unfortunately, the old trophy glitches have returned but all the preventative tips still apply in most cases so see below for more details. There are 2 Co-Op trophies and 2 online trophies but you can use 2 controllers & an Alt account to get the Co-Op trophies and the other two only require you to be connected to PSN to get them. The only truly hard points in the game are completing the Firing Range and all 3 Circles of Slaughter so see the respective trophies for details.

  • All the controls referenced in this Guide, are based on my custom setup so please translate them accordingly.
  • Due to Gearbox's penchant for fixing exploits and nerfing certain builds/weapons, I unfortunately won't be mentioning any of the more popular ones since there's no guarantee they'll remain useful in the future.
  • The stat tracker in this game is broken so cannot be trusted, thus you should use my tracking sheet instead: LINK
  • This Guide is written, assuming you are playing fully patched and have finished at least 1 other game in the Borderlands series so know how the core mechanics work.

Glitch notes:

Most of the trophies have been reported as glitched at some point but the following are the most commonly reported ones:

Bolt-Ons
My Name Is Earl
Tales From The Eridian Slab
Damn, Gina

I personally only had issues with Tales From The Eridian Slab (S) so cannot confirm if the other trophies are actually glitched but playing in Co-Op is known to have an adverse effect on the trophies in this game so avoid playing with other people unless you absolutely have to. If you're playing solo and a mission bugs out, you can almost always fix it by saving your game then quitting to the main menu and reloading your save but if that doesn't work, the only guaranteed fix is to start a new character from scratch. In the case of Damn, Gina (S)(H), I recommend backing up your before entering the Vault of the Serpent so you can reload it if the trophy doesn't pop.

BL3 suffers from major performance and stability problems on the PS4 Pro (which can be eased by playing in Performance mode) but to a lesser extent on the standard PS4s (PS5 performance is currently unknown). You can ease these issues by ensuring you have the latest patch and Hot Fix installed but even then, there are still issues.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete the main story trophies, plus select misc and side mission trophies

During this step, you will be getting all of the story trophies, plus select misc and side mission trophies (including trading with a friend (Gun Pals! ), tipping Moxxi (Tips Appreciated ) etc.). I also recommend at least starting work on Rewards Card and Mechani-Cool so you don't have to spend too much time later on, grinding them out. I Mustache You A Question is possibly missable if done in Co-Op so make sure you're playing solo when going for it.

Trophies earned during this step:

You Got Skills MISSABLE
Star Bound MISSABLE
Vaulting Your Way To The Top
Tips Appreciated
Gun Pals! - Online
À La Carte
Got Big Game
Zer0ed In
Barreled Right Over Them
Feelin' A Little Stabby
Welcome to the Crimson Raiders MISSABLE
So Long, Pandora! MISSABLE
NOG It Off MISSABLE
I Mustache You A Question - POSSIBLY MISSABLE
Gone From My Sight
That Was Cold
Heir To An Empty Castle
Cross The Streamers
Apocalypso!
I Am A Goddess, A Glorious Female Warrior
Bye, Felicia!
Damn, Gina - GLITCHED

Step 2: Earn all of the location, collectible and the rest of misc trophies

During this step, you will be getting all of the location and collectible trophies, plus any remaining Misc ones you didn't get earlier. The Master Of All You Survey is a pain so to avoid any unnecessary frustration, please follow PowerPyx's excellent location Guide in conjunction with the Spreadsheet I created. The collectible trophies are also known to be buggy so please see Bolt-Ons , My Name Is Earl and Tales From The Eridian Slab for more details.

Trophies earned during this step:

Mechani-Cool
Bolt-Ons - GLITCHED
Good Against Remotes Is One Thing
My Name Is Earl - GLITCHED
Tales From The Eridian Slab - GLITCHED
A Hundred Names For Sand
Swamped
City Slicker
Exoarchaeolo—You Get the Gist
Master Of All You Survey
Feelin' A Little Stabby
Stick It To 'Em
On Fleek
Rewards Card
Florida Man
Stay Golden - Online

Step 3: Earn the Circle of Slaughter, Eridian Proving Ground and remaining side mission trophies

This step is the hardest one, because the Circles of Slaughter are a pain to complete but the Eridian Proving Grounds are much easier and less frustrating. I strongly recommend doing these as early as possible, because each one scales to your level and will be harder if done at Lv50.

Trophies earned during this step:

Slaughterhouse 3
Getting A Little On The Side
100 Proof

Step 4: Co-Op trophies

You can earn both of these in less than 10mins, especially if you have 2 controllers and an alt account.

Trophies earned during this step:

I Hope You Didn't Tea-bag
Stay Away From The Light

Step 5: Reach Level 50 and get your Platinum

By the time you reach this step, you should be at or close to Lv40. There are multiple ways to level up quickly so please see Biggest Badass In The Borderlands for more details.

Trophies earned during this step:

Biggest Badass In The Borderlands
Ultimate Vault Hunter

Step 6: Cleanup

If you missed any trophies, then now is the time to go get them.

Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC:

Road Map

Overview:
  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (personal opinion)
  • Offline trophies: 7 (5, 1, 1)
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 6-8hrs+, depending on how long it takes you to spawn the wandering Debt Collector and get a 21 in Blackjack (personal opinion)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies: No but Who Collects The Collector? trophy has a misleading description.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
  • Do trophies stack?: Yes, the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game have separate lists.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available.
  • Additional peripherals required?: No

Introduction:

Moxxi wants to expunge the remaining elements of Handsome Jack from her life, by taking over his orbiting Casino the "Handsome Jackpot" and cleaning it out. To start this DLC, you need the 1.08 or higher patch installed and then accept the mission "The Handsome Jackpot" via a poster on the outside wall of Moxxi's Nightclub on Sanctuary III (it's marked by a yellow diamond on your map). In terms of trophies, nothing is missable but the enemy needed for the Who Collects The Collector? has an abysmal spawn rate. Due to the RNG involved with spawning the wandering Debt Collector and getting a 21 in Blackjack, it will take you 7-10hrs+ to obtain all of the trophies.

Credits and notes:
  • All screenshots are by Terminator.
  • Thanks to PowerPyx for the videos.
  • Thanks to the 1.10 patch, it's now possible to create a pre-levelled character and skip straight to a point where the DLC can be started.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Finish the story

It shouldn't take you more than 5 hours to finish the main storyline if you focus on that and don't bother with the side missions. Providing you do this in Playthrough 1 on the Easier difficulty ( => Options => Gameplay => General => Difficulty => Easier) then you won't have any trouble blitzing your way to the end of the story. You won't be able to get to all of the collectibles until after you have finished the main story so ignore any for now that aren't story related. To save time later on, I recommend going for the Don't Be a Stranger trophy during this step.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

A Proper Hand-Off
Don't Be a Stranger

Step 2: Collectibles

With the main story complete, it's time to go after the collectible related trophies. Of the 3 trophies you will be going for in this step, Killer Look is the easiest since all the required enemies are easily found and killed, Scovillain is the second easiest and Firebug is the hardest, because some of the statues are in difficult to reach areas that require precision parkour to reach. The hot sauce bottles are mostly easy to find and destroy but there are a couple that are a pain to reach. Some of these items are located behind the VIP doors so make sure you have a lot of cash on you to open them.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

Firebug
Killer Look
Scovillain

Step 3: Misc trophy clean up on Mayhem 3 or above

Now for the home stretch. Return to Sanctuary III, then activate Mayhem mode and set it to either Mayhem 3 or 4 so you can drastically increase your odds of the wandering Debt Collector appearing in the designated spot (see Who Collects The Collector? for more details about this trophy and why it might be glitched). With the wandering Debt Collector out the way, it's time to try your luck at the Blackjack tables and get a 21 so you can earn the Shoe Money Tonight trophy but odds are generous so it shouldn't take you more than a few mins to earn this trophy.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

Shoe Money Tonight
Who Collects The Collector?

Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC:

Overview:
  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (personal opinion)
  • Offline trophies: 8 (3, 5)
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 8-10hrs (personal opinion)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: 0
  • Glitched trophies: None in a bad way but there seems to a beneficial glitch that affects the Industrious in the Face of Cosmic Terror Whispers on the Wind  and A Hunter, Through and Through  trophies so see them for more details.
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No so do this in Playthrough 1 and play on Easier ( => Options => Gameplay => General => Difficulty => Easier) with Mayhem Mode disabled.
  • Do trophies stack?: Yes, the PS4 and PS5 versions of the game have separate lists.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available.
  • Additional peripherals required?: No

Introduction:

Wedding Bells are ringing for Sir Hammerlock and Wainwright Jakobs but it's up to you, Gaige and Deathtrap to ensure they get to the Altar in one piece. This DLC is accessed by pressing on the Wedding invite on a table in Sir Hammerlock's Quarters on-board Sanctuary III, then warping the ship to the planet Xylourgos and taking a landing Pod down to the surface. Due to the nature of the story, it contains major spoilers for the main game so leave this DLC until after you've finished that. If you follow a Guide for the collectibles, keep an eye on the Deathtrap trophy and know exactly where to farm the I'm Floundering Up Here trophy then it's entirely possible to finish this DLC to 100% in 6-7hrs. Good One, Babe will be a pain to mop-up if you don't keep it in mind whilst playing, because you will only have Deathtrap as an active companion 3 times during the entire DLC and the only available farming spot is a bore to use. Also, there seems to a beneficial glitch that affects the Industrious in the Face of Cosmic Terror , Whispers on the Wind and A Hunter, Through and Through trophies so see them for more details. Thanks to the May 21st, 2020 Hot Fix the rare spawn creatures needed for the A Hunter, Through and Through are now guaranteed to spawn every time you enter their spawn area.

  • Thanks to the 1.10 patch, it's now possible to create a pre-levelled character and skip straight to a point where the DLC can be started.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Finish the story, whilst focusing on the Deathtrap kills and finding as many collectibles and rare spawn creatures as possible

The main story is very straightforward and none of the bosses are massively difficult but make sure you let Deathtrap kill 50 enemies during your handful of times together, else you will have to slowly grind them out later on for the Good One, Babe  trophy. You can save time later on by doing the Crew Challenges and Side Missions as and when you encounter them, whilst also keeping an eye out for the 4 rare spawn creatures and 18 ECHO Logs that are scattered throughout the DLC.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

Party's Still On!
Love is the Fifth Dimension
Older Than the Trees
Good One, Babe

Step 2: Rare Spawns, Crew Challenges, Side Missions and ECHO Logs cleanup

Depending on how many Rare Spawns, Crew Challenges, Side Missions and ECHO Logs you encountered/found in Step 1, use this step to go back and find any you missed. I've included some videos and screenshots where applicable so you will be able to quickly locate the one's you're missing.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

Industrious in the Face of Cosmic Terror
Whispers on the Wind
A Hunter, Through and Through
I'm Floundering Up Here

Step 3: Cleanup

If you are still missing some kills for the Good One, Babe  trophy, then use this step to get them.

Bounty of Blood DLC:

Road Map

Overview:
  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 but only because of the final couple of bosses (personal opinion)
  • Offline trophies: 8 (7, 1)
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 6-8hrs (personal opinion)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: None
  • Glitched trophies: Yes, 1 - Ruin on the Horizon so see the glitch warnings section in the Introduction for info regarding that and some other glitches that will slow you down.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available
  • Additional peripherals required?: No

Introduction:

Trouble is brewing on a Wild West-themed planet at the ass end of the galaxy so it's up to you, the Vault Hunter, to mosey on over there and kill some no-good varmints! You start this DLC by going up to the table near Player 1's Crew Quarters on Sanctuary III and pressing on the Wanted Poster you find there. Once you have the mission active, head to the Bridge and use the Hyperspace Terminal to travel to Gehenna, then head down to the Cargo Bay and take the Drop Pod down to the planet's surface. Of all the 3 DLCs released to date, Bounty of Blood has the simplest and most straightforward trophies because 5 of them are awarded for just finishing the main story and the remaining 3 trophies are for finishing all the side missions and crew challenges. None of the trophies are missable or glitched and all are easily done in 6-8hrs, depending on how much grief the Crew Challenges give you since most are a pain to find.

Credits and notes:
  • All screenshots are by Terminator.
  • All the controls referenced in this Guide are based on my custom setup so please translate them accordingly.
  • Due to Gearbox's penchant for fixing exploits and nerfing certain builds/weapons, I unfortunately won't be mentioning any of the more popular ones because there's no guarantee they'll remain useful in the future.
  • Thanks to the 1.10 patch, it's now possible to create a pre-levelled character and skip straight to a point where the DLC can be started.
  • See here for how to access the Developer Room Easter Egg (credit to Glitching Queen for finding this): LINK. Whilst this isn't trophy related, it's still pretty cool and worth visiting.
  • See here for an interactive map you can use to track your progress (Credit to mapgenie.io for this): LINK

Glitch warnings:

Unfortunately, this DLC has some major technical problems that make it more difficult/annoying than necessary to get all the trophies:

- The Fast Travel Station icons will randomly disappear from the map and make it impossible to Fast Travel within the same map, thus forcing you to reload your save to get them back.
- The Custom Waypoints can glitch and prevent you from making any, thus forcing you to reload your save or reboot the game to get that ability back.
- The frame rate isn't great anyway in the main game but in this DLC it stutters and temp freezes a lot, usually at the most inconvenient time e.g. when you're in the middle of a very fiddly jump that requires precise timing.
- Mission markers sometimes fail to appear so you have to waste time trying to guess where the objective actually is.
- Just like the main game, the stat tracking in the Challenge menu is awful and cannot be trusted.
- The mission "Riding to Ruin" has 2 nasty glitches associated with it that will prevent it from progressing: 1 - You lose/never gain the ability to spawn Jetbeasts, thus preventing you from even starting the mission. 2 - Starting the mission then going off to do something else, will put the NPCs to stop dead in their tracks and enter an endless dialogue loop that can't be broken. See here: LINK, LINK, LINK for more info.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Finish the main storyline

The main storyline is very linear and straight forward for the most part so shouldn't give you any trouble, until you reach the final area and face the end bosses since they will put up quite a fight.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

Stone Cold Killer
It's a Wash
Getting Off Track
Bounty: Hunted
Ruin on the Horizon - Glitched

Step 2: How the West Was Done

This step is where you will be spending most of your time, because the Crew Challenges are a pain to find if you don't know exactly where they are located so see That's Quite Challenging for details. The side missions are all fairly short and most are just glorified fetch quests so won't give you any trouble. I recommend leaving all the Crew Challenges and Side Missions until after you have finished the main storyline, because then you will have all the upgrades necessary for the Crew Challenges and all the maps will be fully open to you.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

How the West Was Done
That's Quite Challenging
Helpful Hunter

Step 3: Cleanup (optional)

If for some reason you still haven't earned How the West Was Done , then use this Step to cleanup whatever is needed for it.

[PST Would Like To Thank Terminator for this Roadmap]

Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Flustercluck DLC:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 4/10 but only because the boss fights can be very annoying (personal opinion)
  • Offline trophies: 7 (2, 5)
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 4-6hrs (personal opinion)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 1
  • Number of missable trophies: None
  • Glitched trophies: Yes, 1 - Red Wrath and Beyond . Also, the Ye Who Enter description is misleading.
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available
  • Additional peripherals required?: No

What makes a Psycho, a Psycho? That's the question Tannis wants your help in answering, by going in Krieg's mind and unlocking the secrets of Vaulthalla. To start this DLC, go to the Infirmary on Sanctuary III then press on the strange object that's sitting on a box next to the Borderlands Science arcade machine. Once Tannis has finished talking, go to the Bridge and use the Galaxy Map to set Krieg's Mind as your destination then you can use the Drop Pod when you get there. Trophy wise, the only fly in the ointment is the buggy and annoying Ye Who Enter so see that and the Glitch warnings section below for more details but all the others will either come naturally or require a minimal amount of backtracking.

Glitch warnings:

Unfortunately, this DLC has some major technical problems that make it more difficult/annoying than necessary to get all the trophies:

- The Drones spawned by the relevant Mayhem Mode Modifiers have a tendency to get stuck in the scenery, thus rendering them and their target impossible to kill.
- The Vaulthalla map is unstable and prone to crashing so backup your saves before entering the area.
- The "Locus of Rage" mission can be very buggy and either not allow you to turn it in or Psychoreaver can bug out and not respawn if you quit during the fight, thus locking you out of the Vault so backup your save before going anywhere near Vaulthalla.

Most of these issues can be avoided by just not activating Mayhem Mode, as recommended in the Overview.

Step 1: Finish the main storyline

The main storyline is very linear and straight forward for the most part so shouldn't give you any trouble, until you reach the bosses because they will put up quite a fight. Do note though that Red Wrath and Beyond can glitch quite badly so backup your saves before entering Vaulthalla.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

Meat and Greet
The Blast and the Furious
Brain Pain Train Slain
Trauma Center
Red Wrath and Beyond - Glitched

Step 2: Fustercluck Off and Ye Who Enter

This step is where you will be spending most of your time, because the Side Missions and Crew Challenges are a pain to find if you don't know exactly where they are located so see Fustercluck Off for details. The side missions are mostly very short (30secs on average) and either glorified fetch quests or dull busywork of some description so won't give you any trouble. I recommend leaving all the Crew Challenges and Side Missions until after you have finished the main storyline, because then all the maps will be fully open to you. I also recommend leaving Ye Who Enter until now, because Vaulthalla won't be self-destructing when you revisit it. Also note that this trophy is badly glitched if you have the Galaxy Brain Mayhem Mode Modifier active so make sure you either turn Mayhem Mode off completely (as recommended in the Overview) or re-roll the Modifiers so that one isn't active. The Drone modifiers also cause problems in this DLC so ensure you don't have any of those active either.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophy:

Ye Who Enter - Glitched
Fustercluck Off

Step 3: Cleanup (optional)

If you have missed any trophies, use this step to get them.

78 trophies ( 19  52  21  )

  • Unlock all Borderlands® 3 Trophies.

Obtain all the non-DLC trophies, to get this one. All of the upcoming trophy DLCs will have trophies but they won't be required for the Platinum.
  • Reach level 2.

Story Related but can be MISSED if you use a pre-levelled character

You will get this before completing the opening mission and almost certainly before leaving the first map.
  • Reach level 10.

Story Related but can be MISSED if you use a pre-levelled character

See Biggest Badass In The Borderlands
  • See Biggest Badass In The Borderlands
  • Note: As of the 1.24 patch, the Level Cap is 72 but you still only have to reach Lv50 for this trophy.

Reaching level 50 is far quicker and easier in BL3 when compared to previous games in the series and you should reach it by the end of the main story, if you do all the side missions, find all the locations and complete every Crew Challenge beforehand but will still take awhile to earn. Here are some methods you can use to level up:

    - Complete all the side missions in the main game (the last 2 of which, don't become available until after completing the main story).
    - Complete all the Map Specific Challenges (go: => to highlight the Challenge list for the map you're on => to see what the challenges are).
    - Complete the DLCs if you have them.
    - Complete the Takedowns
    - Complete the Eridian Proving Grounds a few times (recommended for Lv30+ characters).
    - Farm the various bosses.
    - If you got the VIP Early Adopter's pack via the official website, then you will receive a shield that grants extra XP per-kill until you hit Lv11. If you didn't receive this pack, it's still possible to get the shield by trading for it with a friend who did. This DLC was discontinued in late 2019 so is no longer available to download but you can still get it by asking a friend who has it, to trade you for it.
    - Take part in the Seasonal Events by turning them on via the Main Menu.
    - Play in Mayhem Mode (only possible after completing the main story).
    - Have a friend power level you.

For additional farming tips, please see this video by VinylicPumaGaming (this video is based on the 1.04 patch so isn't current but the basic strategies still apply):

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z-cTEqxlcXU

The Circles of Slaughter, Eridian Proving Grounds and the Takedowns are by far the best methods for levelling up quickly but the Proving Grounds are the fastest and least stressful to complete.
  • Unlock 10 Character Heads or Skins.

    GLITCHED

Whilst I didn't have any issues with this trophy, some people have. The best ways to mitigate any potential glitch are to either find 10 Heads and Skins then redeeming all of them at once or save up enough Eridium to buy 10 of them from Crazy Earl. If this trophy does glitch on you and earning more Heads and/or skins fails to unlock it, your only option is to delete your saves and start a new character from scratch.

Contrary to what the trophy description says, you can use a combination of Heads and Skins to pop the trophy. Here is a list of all the fast ways you can earn Heads and Skins for your character:

    - Buy them from Crazy Earl's shop in Sanctuary III's Cargo Hold (marked on the map, by an icon of Earl's Head).
    - Trade with your friends.
    - Killing bosses (rare drop chance).
    - Complete all stage of the Borderlands Science Mini-game/Side Mission
    - Buy them from the PS Store (credit to danc for this tip)

In theory, the customisations from the limited time events should count towards this trophy but this is currently unconfirmed.
  • Unlock 10 Vehicle Parts via hijacking.

    Notes:
    • Due to how hard it is to keep a vehicle intact in the later stages of the game, I strongly recommend getting this trophy done as early on as possible to prevent any undue frustration.
    • It's also unknown if the parts obtained via the story related vehicles count towards this or not.
    • Parts sometimes fail to register as being unlocked, thus you will have to hijack another vehicle with those parts and re-scan them back into the system - This might have been fixed with the 1.10 patch.
    • There is a rare crash problem that can affect Ellie's Hijack Missions, which causes the game to freeze/crash when you attempt to drop the vehicle off at one of the Catch-A-Ride stations. There is currently no fix for this issue.
    • Please use one of the following Spreadsheets to keep track of how many parts you have found: LINK, Credit to Multicron: LINK
You will unlock the ability to hijack Vehicles, during the "Cult Following" mission and completing Ellie's mission. The parts obtained from the Guns, Love and Tentacles DLC also count towards this trophy. Once you have access to the Catch-A-Ride system, there are 2 options for gaining new Vehicle Parts:

1: Complete Ellie's Crew Challenge in selected maps (see here for a full Guide: LINK).
2: Drive around until you see a vehicle that looks different to the ones you've seen before, then attempt to Hijack it by pressing when the prompt appears on the driver's side of the vehicle.

You will know if you have discovered new parts, when the following message appears on the bottom left-hand corner of your screen:

Depending on your luck with the RNG, you will earn 1-2 new parts per-vehicle but it doesn't matter if you collect parts for 1 vehicle type or all 3 (i.e. Outrunner, Technical and Cyclone) because they all count equally. You can see how many parts you've collected, by visiting a Catch-A-Ride station then pressing and looking at the various categories for each vehicle. After collecting your 10th Vehicle Part, the trophy will pop.
  • Note: The earliest you can attempt this, is after completing the mission "Sanctuary" and gaining access to all of Sanctuary III.

Go to Moxxi's Nightclub (marked as a Slot Machine on the map) then approach the bar and donating either $100 or $1,000 to Moxxi, by pressing  or  respectively on the Tip Jar. The trophy will pop immediately after adding some money to the Tip Jar.
  • Note: Having a second controller and alt account, will make this easier.

There are 2 ways to start a duel:

1: Start a Trade by looking at your friend (requires both players to have the "Allow Trading" option enabled in the Options menu) and pressing , then choosing the "Duel" option once they've agreed to Trade with you.
2: Melee your friend (press ), then have them press  on the pod that appears.

Now have the other person walk out of the duelling bubble to have them declared a coward and a loser, then the trophy will pop.
  • Revive another player.

Note: Having a second controller and alt account, will make this easier.

Regardless of if you're doing this in local Splitscreen or online Co-Op, find some enemies then let them down your friend. Once your friend is in Fight For Your Life, go up to them then press and hold  until they have been revived - The trophy will pop once they get back on their feet.
  • Send an item to a friend.

    (Online)

Note: There is a limit to the number of items you can mail per-hour but I don't know exactly what it is. You have to wait approx 45mins before being allowed to mail out more items, if you get the message that you've sent too much mail. Also note that you must have the latest patch and Hot Fix installed, before this trophy can be obtained.

This can be done early on in the first mission, once you have found some gear you don't need. To send an item to a friend, go: => Social => Mail => => Select an item then choose a friend to send it to but do note that the other person doesn't need to be online or even own a copy of Borderlands 3. The trophy will pop moments after the chosen item has been posted.
  • Win a live grenade at a Slot Machine.

Note: The earliest you can attempt this, is after completing the mission "Sanctuary" and gaining access to all of Sanctuary III but I recommend backing up your saves beforehand so you can get all your money back after popping the trophy.

Find Moxxi's Nightclub on Sanctuary III (indicated on the map, by a Slot Machine) then spend some cash at any of the money based Slot Machines (the Eridium one doesn't count) until you trigger the slot combination that rewards you by detonating a Grenade in your face. This trophy can be attempted at the Slot Machines you find in the wild but Moxxi's Bar is the safest and most convenient option.
  • Get a perfect score at the Firing Range on any difficulty.

    Notes:
    • The earliest you can attempt this, is after completing the mission "Sanctuary" and gaining access to all of Sanctuary III.
    • The training dummy will disappear whilst Normal or Challenge are active so you don't have to worry about it getting in the way.
    • If you do this trophy in co-op, then it will only pop for the person who activates the Firing Range (credit to TheManUtdFan for this info).

The Firing Range is marked on your map, by a Duck with a bullseye on it and is accessed via Marcus Munitions. To start the Firing Range, you have to press either or on the console to the left of the range itself but I strongly recommend going with Normal mode so you don't have to worry about all the modifiers that Challenge Mode brings with it.

Outside of the Circles of Slaughter, this is easily the hardest and most frustrating trophy in the entire game but you can make it a lot easier by doing the following:

1: Get yourself an Infinity Pistol (element doesn't matter).
2: Play in Co-Op with 2 or more people.
3: Stick to the Normal mode and avoid the Challenge version.

What makes this so frustrating is the fact that the Firing Range is buggy, plus each attempt is on a time limit and randomised with no fixed spawning pattern for any of the targets but playing in co-op will make life much easier because each player can take a different section to focus on.
  • Buy 20 cosmetic items from Crazy Earl.

    GLITCHED

Note: You can't access Crazy Earl's store, until after you have completed the mission "Sanctuary" and gained access to all of Sanctuary III.

Whilst I didn't have any issues with this trophy, some people have so the best way to mitigate any potential glitch is to save up enough Eridium to buy 20 items then purchase all of them at once with a single character.

Crazy Earl's store is found in Sanctuary III's Cargo Hold (you will go there as part of the "Sanctuary" mission) but he only accepts Eridium. Here are the best ways to earn Eridium:

    - Eridium Crystal Formations (requires the Eridian Resonator, before you can break them by pressing ): LINK
    - Eridium Chests (requires the Eridian Resonator, before you can break the Eridium Crystal Formations holding them shut). LINK
    - Killing Bosses and Badasses, then collecting the Eridium Bars they sometimes drop.
    - Completing Challenges ( => Map => press until you reach the Galaxy Overview => Press to select the Challenges list = to cycle through the challenges).

The cheapest items cost 50 Eridium but the prices climb steeply from there. For some farming tips, please see this video by VinylicPumaGaming (this video is based on the 1.04 patch so isn't current but the basic strategies still apply):

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z4ijU9hUKw4
  • Decipher all of the Eridian Slabs.

GLITCHED ON PS4 BUT REQUIRES THE 1.23 PATCH TO UNLOCK ON PS5

There are 30 Slabs in total (indicated by this icon: LINK) but there is a good chance the trophy will glitch and not pop after deciphering the 30th Slab. To fix this, go to the Infirmary on Sanctuary III and rescan the Eridian Slab there a few times until the trophy pops. You can't attempt this trophy, until after you have entered the Great Vault and learned the ability to decipher Eridian Slabs. Unread Eridian Slabs, look like this on your map:

The map icon will turn solid blue, once the Slab has been translated. See here for a comprehensive location Guide: LINK. Also, use my Spreadsheet to keep track of how many you have completed: LINK
  • Complete all the Circles of Slaughter.

Note: Please use my Spreadsheet to keep track of how many Circles of Slaughter you have completed: LINK

There are 3 Circles of Slaughter in the Game:

Cistern of Slaughter (very buggy if done in Co-Op) - Accessed via Meridian Metroplex: LINK
The Slaughter Shaft - Accessed via Konrad's Hold: LINK
Slaughterstar 3000 - Triggered via a Side Mission on Nekrotafeyo in the Desolation's Edge map: LINK (There's no mission marker in this screenshot, because I lost the original so had to take another after the marker had gone).

Of the 3, Slaughterstar 3000 is the hardest one but can sometimes glitch in your favour and end early when you reach Round 5-4 or 5-5 so take advantage of this if it happens and return to Lt. Wells immediately! The Cistern of Slaughter is also very buggy, especially if done in co-op so play solo to avoid most of the issues. Between each round, you can return to the lobby to refill your health and ammo but don't leave the map or quit the game, else your progress will be wiped and you'll have to redo the entire arena from scratch. Matchmaking for the Circles of Slaughter, is very broken at the moment and won't always match you with people playing the applicable Circle of Slaughter so should be avoided. Credit to Lo Key for the matchmaking info.

    Basic Tips:
    • Play patched - Various changes have been made to the Circles of Slaughter since launch, that include progression fixes, stability fixes, difficulty reductions, A.I adjustments, collision detection fixes etc. so make sure you have the latest Patch and Hot Fix installed, before attempting this trophy.

    • Use the level scaling to your advantage - The Circles of Slaughter, scale to your level so doing them as early as possible will make life easier.

    • Use a build that suits your playstyle - It pays to tailor your character, weapons and skills to your playstyle, because then you can maximise your damage and make it harder to die. If your current build isn't working and just getting you killed, return to Sanctuary III and use the Quick-Change kiosk to respec into a new one. Since the Circles of Slaughter are failable missions, returning to Sanctuary III will auto-fail the one you're currently attempting so keep that in mind.

    • Keep moving - Standing still is a great way to get yourself killed so keep moving and strafing to make it harder for enemies to target you.

    • Bring some Atlas weapons with you - All Atlas weapons have a homing ability that allows you to hit flying enemies easier and shoot round corners so will make life so much easier in the Cistern of Slaughter and Slaughterstar 3000. If you're playing as Moze, then you can skip the Atlas Weapons you spec into the Demolition Woman tree instead and equip the Vanquisher Rocket Pod skill and Active Tracking mod. In Amara's case, you should spec into the Fist of the Elements tree, then equip Phasegrasp as your active skill and add the Ties that Bind mod but do note that the Bloated Rakk in the Cistern of Slaughter, can't be Phasegrasped.

    • Bring weapons in all elements - Focusing on just 1 or 2 types of elemental damage, will make it harder to kill enemies and cause you to waste time and ammo so bring weapons in all elements i.e. Radiation, Shock, Fire, Corrosive and Cryo, plus some explosive and non-elemental ones as well. Maliwan weapons always come in 2 elements so you can switch between them on-the-fly and not have to switch weapons. The Slaughterstar 3000, features mostly robot enemies in the later waves so bring a strong corrosive weapon with you to take them out.

    • Recharge Rate and Delay, matters - When it comes to shields, capacity isn't as important as the Recharge Rate and Recharge Delay, because you can have the highest capacity shield in the game but isn't worth anything if it takes forever to recharge so the lower the Recharge Delay and Rate, the better!

    • Learn from your mistakes - Mistakes are going to happen but losing your temper won't help, thus you should take a step back for a bit and calm down before figuring out what went wrong.

    • Pick up everything - Due to a potential stability problem, it's recommended you pick up and sell all the loot that drops from the various enemies so a memory leak doesn't occur and crash your game.

    • Resupply between rounds - After each round has been successfully completed, you will be allowed to return to the lobby and resupply with ammo and buy a new Shield or Grenade mod if necessary. You can resupply during each round by opening the various ammo crates that are dotted around the map but these are limited and won't refill until after that round has been either completed or failed so use them sparingly.

    • Upgrade your Ammo capacity - An empty magazine = one very dead player so head to Marcus's store on Sanctuary III and upgrade your Ammo capacity for every weapon, to at least Rare (Blue) or Epic (Purple) status but do note this will require a lot of money so
Sell all your unwanted items whenever you see a vending machine.

    • Tip Moxxi - If you're having a hard time keeping your health up, then tipping Moxxi a lot of money will earn you the Crit SMG and Hail Assault Rifle (you will get one, then have to tip her more cash to get the other). Both of these guns will give you a small amount of health back for each shot that hits an enemy but do note that the Crit will occasionally fall out of your hands when reloading and the Hail requires careful aiming so each shot breaks up in mid-air the way it's supposed to.

    • Leave Mayhem Mode alone - Mayhem Mode (which is unlocked after finishing the main story) will make your life much, much harder so leave it turned off if you have it available.

    • Cheat - If you have a second account and controller handy, you can cheat your way through the Circles of Slaughter by abusing the same low level character exploit that worked for the Underdome DLC in BL1. To get this exploit to work, do the following: Speedrun your Alt account through the main story until the Circles of Slaughter becomes available, then invite your main account and have them do all the work. The lower your Alt account's level is, the easier the Circles of Slaughter will be for you but make sure both players have the Co-Op difficulty set to Coopetition and not Cooperation (Main Menu => => press once => on the Cogs => change to Coopetition => press to confirm) so the difficulty and loot will scale to the host and not both players. Credit to shatulance for confirming this trick still works.

    • Bring a Shock Element Recurring Hex Grenade Mod with you - Enemies getting in, on, above, under and behind the scenery is a problem that has been around since Borderlands 1 but you can alleviate this, by bringing a Shock Element Recurring Hex Grenade Mod with you and lobbing them at the offending enemy. If this doesn't work, then you will have no option but to kill yourself and restart the round from scratch. Credit to H!NO and AerisFlowerGirl for this info.

  • Discover all named locations.

REQUIRES THE 1.16 PATCH TO UNLOCK PROPERLY ON PS4 BUT REQUIRES THE 1.23 PATCH TO UNLOCK ON THE PS5

There are 223 named locations in the core game so see here for a detailed Guide to where they all are and how to get there: LINK but doing all of the missions and Crew Challenges, will take you to approx 95% of them. Also, use my Spreadsheet to keep track of how many you have completed: LINK, as well as this one by FenRiR149: LINK

Here is a quick breakdown of the number of locations, per planet:

    Pandora = 78
    Promethea = 43

    Athenas = 5
    Eden-6 = 63
    Nekrotafeyo = 27
    Slaughterstar 3000 (Circle of Slaughter) = 1
Ghostlight Beacon (Eridian Proving Ground) = 1
Gradient of Dawn (Eridian Proving Ground) = 1
Precipice Anchor (Eridian Proving Ground) = 1
The Hall Obsidian (Eridian Proving Ground) = 1
The Skydrowned Pulpit (Eridian Proving Ground) = 1
Wayward Tether (Eridian Proving Ground) = 1

    Buggy/Easily Missed locations:

    Pandora:

The Splinterlands - Pitt's Stop (Buggy) - LINK - If you drive between the Catch-a-Ride and the fast travel point for that area, it will eventually recognise the area. Credit to AmbaLaBamba for this info.
The Splinterlands - Logan's Spar (Tiny, easily missed area) - LINK
    Konrad's Hold - General's Perch - LINK

    Promethea:

Meridian Metroplex - Cistern of Slaughter (Very buggy - especially if visited whilst in Co-Op) - LINK
    Skywell-27 - Katagawa Pleasure Pit - LINK

    Eden-6:

Floodmoor Basin - Jason Waterfalls (Tiny, easily missed area but look for the "Do Not Go" sign) - LINK
Floodmoor Basin - Slickhouse Garage (Tiny, easily missed area) - LINK

The DLCs, Seasonal Events and Takedowns have added the following Planets/Areas which don't count towards this trophy.

    - Heck (Bloody Harvest event)
    - Joey's Planet (Revenge of the Cartels event)
    - Midnight's Cairn (Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite)
    - Minos Prime (Guardian Takedown)
    - The Handsome Jackpot (Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot DLC)
    - Xylourgos (Guns, Love and Tentacles: The Marriage of Wainwright & Hammerlock DLC)
    - Gehenna (Bounty of Blood: A Fistful of Redemption DLC)
    - Krieg's Mind (Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck DLC)
    - Stomblind Complex (Designer's Cut DLC)
    - Darkthirst Dominion (Director's Cut DLC)
    - Eschaton Row (Director's Cut DLC)
    - Karass Canyon (Director's Cut DLC)
    - Enoch's Grove (Director's Cut DLC)
    - Scryer's Crypt (Director's Cut DLC)

Whilst you can go: => press :l1:/:r1: to reach the "Map" tab => Press on your current map => then press to see the current stats for the map you're on, I strongly advise against doing so because of how buggy and downright unreliable the stat tracking is in this game. Credit to ilRASli for this tip.

Note: Sometimes, this trophy can glitch in a good way and pop early (credit to ixii for this info). It has been said that discovering all the areas in Midnight's Cairn (the location of the "Takedown at the Maliwan Blacksite" raid), will also pop this trophy for some unknown reason.
  • Complete 20 Side Missions.

See Getting A Little On The Side. If you do all the Side Missions as they appear, then this trophy will pop after completing "Technical NOGout" in the Meridian Metroplex area of Promethea.
  • Complete all Side Missions.

There are 91 side missions in the core game but contrary to what the trophy description says, the 16 Rare Spawn missions (the ones you get on the Sanctuary III and The Lodge Notice Boards after a friend finds and kills one of the respective bosses) don't count towards the trophy. Also note that the repeatable Dynasty missions, the Circles of Slaughter and Eridian Proving Grounds won't show up in your mission completion log. See here for a full list of all the side missions and how to complete them: LINK. Also, use my Spreadsheet to keep track of how many you have completed: LINK

Note: The Side Missions "Baby Dancer" and "Fire in the Sky", don't show up until after you finish the main storyline. If you're missing a mission in Razor's Edge, then it's most likely "Baby Dancer" so check in with Claptrap on Sanctuary III and see if it's available. Also note that the Seasonal, DLC, Takedown and "Borderlands Science" missions don't count towards the side mission trophies (credit to mistykalangel for confirming that the Borderlands Science mission isn't needed for the trophy).
  • Clear all the Eridian Proving Grounds.

Note: Please use my Spreadsheet to keep track of how many Eridian Proving Grounds you have completed: LINK

There are 6 Eridian Proving Grounds in total, access to which is granted via the Lodestars (LINK) in the following maps:

    Pandora:

    Devil's Razor

    The Splinterlands

    Promethea

    Meridian Outskirts

    Eden-6

    Floodmoor Basin

    Jakobs Estate

    Nekrotafeyo

    Desolation's Edge

See here for a detailed Guide on the specifics of where the Lodestars are found: LINK but you can't physically access or see them on the map, until you have obtained the Eridian Analyzer from the Vault of the Architects on Pandora. To access the respective Proving Ground after accepting the mission, you have to return to Sanctuary III and warp there via the Hyperspace Terminal on the Bridge.

Each Eridian Proving Ground has 4 areas, with the final one being a boss battle. The final boss in each Proving Ground has to be defeated twice but none are a serious threat if you keep your distance and use your most powerful weapons on them. It's also possible to complete the Eridian Proving Grounds via matchmaking but considering how buggy this game is in Co-Op I advise against doing so unless you get really stuck. Note: The 1.27 patch, added a toggle at each proving ground that lets you enable or disable the True Trials Event for that area. To keep things as stress free as possible, leave these events turned off.
  • Defeat all of Hammerlock's Legendary Hunts.

Note: If you have the latest patch installed, then all of the Legendary Hunts will scale to your level so are easier to kill if done early on in the game but you must have Cooperation turned on for it to take effect.

There are 10 Legendary Hunts in the game and are marked by the following icon on your map:-

    Pandora:

Lavender Crawly - Note 1: This is a multi-stage fight and won't be considered complete, until the entire Crawly family has been exterminated. Note 2: According to ixii, this fight may now be glitched in a good way because you only have to kill Lavender Crawly herself and not the whole family.

    Skrakk

    Antalope (Actual in-game spelling)

    Phoenix

Manvark - Note that this is a multi-stage fight and won't be considered complete, until all of Manvark's various forms have been exterminated.

    Athenas:

Chupacabratch - Note that your health will be constantly depleting during this fight, due to the Chupacabratch's bodyguards siphoning it off and giving it to him so take them out first.

    Eden-6:
    Chonk Stomp

Jabbermogwai - Note that you must use a fire weapon to kill this guy, else he will multiply like crazy and overwhelm you.

    Nekrotafeyo:

    Blinding Banshee

Swarm Host - Buggy. This might not always spawn first time, thus you should reload your save if it doesn't appear. Note: This glitch is rumoured to be getting fixed with a future patch.

You can track your kills by visiting Sir Hammerlock's Living Quarters on-board Sanctuary III:

Also, see here for a video Guide:

You can also use my Spreadsheet to keep track of how many Legendary Hunts you have completed: LINK
  • Defeat all of Zer0's Targets of Opportunity.

Note: If you have the latest patch installed, then all of the Targets of Opportunity will scale to your level so are easier to kill if done early on in the game but you must have Cooperation turned on for it to take effect.

There are 10 Targets of Opportunity in the game and are marked by the following icon on your map:-

    Pandora:

    Hot Karl

    DJ DeadSk4G (Actual in-game spelling)

    Crushjaw

    Promethea:

    Baron Noggin

    Judge Hightower and his gang

    Handsome Jackie

    Eden-6:

    Sky Bullies

    Heckle and Hyde

    Psychobillies

    Nekrotafeyo:

Sylestro and Atomic (Actual in-game spelling) - Requires the 1.08 or higher patch installed to work properly.

You can track your kills by visiting Zer0's Office (which opens up after the mission "Family Jewel") on-board Sanctuary III:

Also, see here for a video Guide:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HkQeluTL0Xc

You can also use my Spreadsheet to keep track of how many Targets of Opportunity you have completed: LINK
  • Kill an enemy with an exploding barrel.

This can be done at any point in the game but you will almost certainly get it during the opening mission, once you reach the area before fighting Shiv. There are 3 barrels in this area so either lure an enemy to one, then shoot it or slide into one and knock into an enemy so it explodes on contact with them. The trophy will pop once an enemy has been liquidated by an exploding barrel.
  • Kill an enemy, knifing them with a gun blade.

You can do this at any point in the game but is best done early on whilst the enemies are weak. If you get lucky with the loot drops, then you should find a gun with a Blade attachment during the opening mission so equip it and get stabbing. To melee an enemy, get up close and personal then press .
  • Kill two or more enemies with a single sticky grenade.

Note: You can do this at any point in the game but is best done early on whilst the enemies are weak.

Here is an example of a sticky grenade:

The easiest place to do this once you have a sticky grenade, is the following Skag Den in the Droughts map on Pandora:

Wait for the Skags to group up around you, then throw a grenade at the nearest one and wait for it to explode. If you mess this up, then save, quit, reload and try again.
  • Equip purple-rarity gear or better in every slot.

This trophy can't be attempted until you reach Eden-6 and find the Eridian Synchronizer in the Vault of the Graveward. You need to have a Purple (i.e Epic) or Orange (i.e. Legendary) rarity item in all 8 slots on your character but despite what the trophy description says, the trinket slots don't count towards this. Here are the slots that count:

    Gun slot 1
    Gun slot 2
    Gun slot 3
    Gun slot 4
    Shield Mod
    Grenade Mod
    Relic
    Class Mod

The fastest single player way to get Purple gear is by farming the Golden Chest so see this Guide for how to do this but do note that you shouldn't use this trick after unlocking the Guardian Ranks, because it will break them and cause you to either lose ranks or even stop you earning them in the first place: LINK. If you don't want to cheat or are unable to get any Golden Keys, then use one of the following alternatives:

    - Farm the Red Chests (Credit to randomChievos - this playlist is exclusively for the core game so doesn't cover the DLCs): LINK
    - Farm the Vault Bosses and the chests inside their Vaults.
    - Trade with a friend - see here for the Trading Thread: LINK
    - If you get desperate and have some spare cash, then you can buy the Toy Weapon pack from the PS Store and get 2 Legendary weapons that way. If you have the Super Deluxe Edition, then you will already have these items.
  • Earn a Loyalty Package from each weapon manufacturer.

Note: To make life easier, please use this tracking sheet that I created: LINK

To unlock this trophy, you need to get 100 kills with a weapon from each of the 9 weapon manufacturers:

    Atlas
Children of the Vault (AKA "COV")
    Dahl
    Hyperion
    Jakobs
    Maliwan
    Tediore
    Torgue
    Vladof

The following manufacturers don't count, because they only make shields and/or relics:

    Anshin
    Eridian
    Pangolin

You will know if you've done 100 kills for any given manufacturer, when a message appears on the left-hand side of the screen that says you have received a package from X manufacturer (see below for a screenshot) so go to your Mail and check it's there. After making your 900th total kill, the trophy will pop. Do note that you don't need to accept the packages for the trophy to pop, just receive them.

Secret trophies

  • Discover all named locations on Nekrotafeyo.

REQUIRES THE 1.15 PATCH TO UNLOCK PROPERLY

See Master Of All You Survey
  • Complete mission "Children of the Vault".

Story Related but can be MISSED if you use a pre-levelled character

"Children of the Vault" is the opening mission so complete that, then the trophy will pop.

Note: All Story related missions are marked in your log, by a Vault symbol.

    Boss details:

    Shiv:

    Shiv has the following attacks:

    Buzzaxe
    Buzzaxe Spin

Shiv is the first and easiest boss in the game and you will meet him near the end of the mission, after Claptrap insults him over the radio. The only thing you have to watch out for are Shiv's melee attacks so stay of his range and go for headshots but you can also shoot the nearby transformer to electrify the puddle of water that's in front of it so Shiv takes Shock damage when he walks through it.
  • Complete mission "Taking Flight".

Story Related but can be MISSED if you use a pre-levelled character

"Taking Flight" is the fourth mission in the game and has you getting Sanctuary III, ready for take off so follow Ellie's instructions and complete her missions. The trophy will pop, once you're in orbit and have spoken with Lilith.

    Boss details:

    Mouthpiece:

    Mouthpiece has the following attacks:

    Soundwave Gun
    Speaker Overload
    Tink Spawn

Mouthpiece can be a pain to kill, because his Soundwave Gun and Speaker Overload attacks do a lot of damage if you get caught up in them. To avoid taking too much damage, stay behind him and move to a different area if you hear the speakers power up and see the cables on the floor turn pink. Mouthpiece is at his most vulnerable, when he's showing off and exposes his back to you so take advantage of this and empty your most powerful weapon into him. Once he's toast, pick up the Vault Key then return to Sanctuary III and give it to Lilith.
  • Complete mission "Hostile Takeover".

Story Related but can be MISSED if you use a pre-levelled character

This trophy will pop after completing the mission "Hostile Takeover", by blackmailing Rhys into coughing up all the info that Atlas has on the Promethean Vault.

    Boss details:

Gigamind - Fought during the mission "Hostile Takeover":

    Gigamind has the following attacks:

    Shield Laser
    Drones
    Maliwan Soldier spawn

Gigamind isn't much of a threat so use your best Shock weapon to eliminate his shields then finish him off with whatever other weapon you like. His attacks are few but annoying, namely summoning enemies to help him, generating a forward facing shield that also shoots lasers at you, plus he also has a habit of throwing things at you (including his drones) so remember to dodge if you see something coming your way. If you keep your distance and dodge his attacks whilst laying into him, Gigamind will go down pretty quickly - just remember to pick up his brain before talking to Rhys.
  • Complete mission "Atlas, At Last".

    Story Related but POSSIBLY MISSABLE

This trophy will pop after completing the mission "Atlas, At Last" by receiving the Vault Key piece from Rhys after helping him to decide if he wants to keep his Mustache or get rid of it. There is a theoretical possibility that this trophy can be missed if done in co-op and the host chooses to tell Rhys to ditch his Mustache - see below for details (credit to AerisFlowerGirl):

In my group of 4, we voted to keep the Mustache and the host and my two friends all got the trophy (I already had it) so I can vouch that it isn't missable if you chose to keep the Mustache but cannot vouch for it a group chooses to lose it. I personally chose lose it on my solo playthrough and got the trophy with no issues.
    Boss details:

Captain Traunt - Fought during the mission "The Impending Storm":

Captain Traunt has the following attacks:

    Homing Elemental Balls
    Ice Walls
    Maliwan Soldier Spawn

Captain Traunt can be a royal pain in the neck to kill if you try to circle around the outside of the arena and take potshots at him from there but if you stay close to him and empty a non-elemental Shotgun into the generator on his back whilst dodging his Elemental Ball attacks, then you shouldn't have any issues. If you go down, try and get a Second Wind off one of the many Maliwan Soldiers that Traunt summons periodically throughout the fight.

Katagawa Ball - Fought at the end of the mission "Space-Laser Tag":

Katagawa Ball has several attacks you need to watch out for:

    Fireballs
    Rockets
    Shock beams
    Homing Darts

Fortunately, all of these attacks are easily dodged if you keep the scenery between you and them. You will need a Corrosive weapon to destroy his armour, before his shields will become vulnerable to your best Shock weapon. After destroying his second and final layer of Shields, Katagawa Ball will explode and expose the Vault Key fragment so pick it up and return to Tannis on Sanctuary III so you can give it to her.

Katagawa Jr. - Fought at the end of the mission "Atlas, At Last":

You will need either a Sniper Rifle or similar weapon for this fight, since most of it takes place at a considerable distance keep a shotgun handy for the handful of close quarters encounters.

Katagawa Jr. has the following attacks:

    Distortion Field Grenades
    Sniper Rifle
    Holo-Clones
    Holoblade
    Teleport

This isn't a hard fight, just get your Sniper Rifle and keep sniping all the Katagawa Jr. Holo-Clones until you find the real one. Once you find him, keep pumping shots into his head until he teleports to one of the Power Generators so you can shoot that and take off a large chunk of his health. After taking sufficient damage, Katagawa Jr. will teleport all over the map and take pot shots at you before splitting up into several Holo-Clones again. Every so often, the real Katagawa Jr. will throw a Distortion Field Grenade at you to block your view in preparation for a close quarters sneak attack so keep a Shotgun handy.

Once Katagawa Jr. has taken fatal damage, his Zer0 Tech Suit will malfunction and cause him to teleport all over the place so sit back and wait for it to explode.

This trophy will pop, once you return to Sanctuary III after killing the Vault Boss and have spoken to Lilith.

    Boss details:

    The Rampager:

The Rampager has the following attacks:

    Fire Skulls
    Radiation Skulls
    Acid Skulls
Mutation (more on that in a bit)
    Ground Pound
    Flight
    Fireball Bombing Run
    Eridian Warrior Spawns
Rock Falls (these happen whenever the Rampager either jumps around or attacks)

This is the first of 4 Vault Monster fights in the game but it isn't that hard if you know what you're doing. For the first phase of the fight, you will need a decent fire weapon to whittle down the Rampager's health until he collapses and exposes the weak spot in his mouth but watch out for Radiation Skull and Ground Pound attacks since they will do a lot of damage to you if they hit. If you need more health or ammo, then kill either the Eridian Warriors or the little blue spirits that appear on the platforms on the left and right of the screen and pick up the items they drop.

Phase 2 will start after you have reduced the boss's health by a 1/3, at which point he will suck in all the Spirits and mutate into an even bigger and nastier version of himself that spits Acid Skulls at you but Radiation weapons will make short work of him so whittle his health down until he collapses again and re-exposes his weak spot. After he mutates for the third and final time, he will turn into a massive dragon that flies and jumps all over the map whilst raining fiery death on you so keep moving.

Phase 3 is the longest and toughest part of the fight, because the Rampager is now immune to all elements so only non-elemental weapons will work but his weak spot only opens up when he stands still and unleashes a devastating barrage of Fire Skulls at you so don't miss when aiming at it! The Rampager is at his most dangerous when he's flying around and dropping a barrage of Fire Skulls on you so keep moving in the opposite direction to which he's flying. After reducing his health to 10%, he will collapse and reveal the weak spot on chest so hit it with everything you've got. Once he's toast, enter the Vault and grab the Eridian Resonator then use it to reveal the lodestar in the back right corner of the room.
  • Complete mission "Lair of the Harpy".

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

Glitch Note: The "Voracious Canopy" map is known to be unstable so make frequent save file backups whenever you're there but do note that the 1.07 patch has reduced the chances of crashes occurring in this map so install that before playing.

This trophy will pop after completing the mission "Lair of the Harpy", by giving Wainwright Jakobs his father's record.

    Boss details:

The Warden - Fought during the mission "Hammerlocked":

The Warden has the following attacks:

    Rockets
    Ground Pound
    Tink Spawns
    Missiles
Evolution (more on that in a bit)

The Warden is one of the harder fights in the game but still nothing especially difficult if you have the right gear and stay aware of your surroundings. To complete the first phase of the fight, you will need a strong corrosive weapon to destroy his armour but watch out for the Rockets he fires and the Tinks that appear. Phase 2 is where things get interesting, because the Warden will become enraged, remove his helmet then start killing Tinks and evolving into various, before culminating in his ultimate "God-Liath" form. With each evolution, the Warden will become bigger, stronger and more powerful so keep moving around the arena and taking potshots at him whenever you can but remember to dodge his Rockets, Missiles and Ground Pound attacks. Once the Warden is toast, you can free Sir Hammerlock by shooting the glowing red hook that's keeping his cage attached to the crane above you.

Billy, The Anointed - Fought during the mission "Lair of the Harpy":

Billy, The Anointed has the following attacks:

    Shockwave
    Teleport
    Skull Rockets
    Tink Spawns

This fight is a lot easier now Billy's health has been reduced by the Oct 3rd, 2019 Hot Fix but he's still no pushover. The key to surviving this fight is to keep moving, jump over the Shockwaves that Billy fires off and shoot down his Skull Rockets whilst unloading your best Assault Rifle or SMG into his head. If Billy teleports, you need to quickly move in the opposite direction and avoid whatever attack he then lets off but always keep the Tinks in sight so you can kill one and get a second wind if needed. Once the fight is over, melee Billy then recover all the Eridium and loot from his shattered corpse.
  • Complete mission "Cold as the Grave".

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

This trophy will pop after completing the mission "Cold as the Grave" by talking to Lillith on Sanctuary III, after retrieving the Eridian Synchronizer from the Vault of the Graveward on Eden-6.

    Boss details:

GenIVIV - Fought during the mission "The Family Jewel":

    GenIVIV has the following attacks:

    Bouncing Mines
    Forcefields
    Robot spawns
    Energy Blaster

GenIVIV can be a pain to kill, because she spends most of time zipping around the Bridge, spamming Bouncing Mines, generating forcefields and summoning robot minions to defend her but she will stop periodically to recharge so use that opportunity to lay into her with your best Shock and Corrosive weapons to destroy her shields and armour respectively. The Bouncing Mines can be destroyed but you need a Shotgun or something with a large blast radius, in order to actually hit them. Whilst GenIVIV's head is her weak spot, it can be hard to hit so just go with body shots. Once she has been destroyed, grab the Vault Key piece then return to Sanctuary III and give it to Tannis.

Aurelia - Fought during the mission "Cold as the Grave":

    Aurelia has the following attacks:

    Ice Walls
    Ice Pillar
    Ice Cocoon
    Bandit Spawns
    Tornados
    Blizzards
    Icicle Spears

Aurelia is one of the toughest bosses in the game if you face her unprepared but if you have the right gear, she's a cakewalk. You will need a decent shock weapon to take out her shields and strong Fire weapons to finish her off. The 2 main attacks you have to watch out for are the Tornados and her Ice Cocoon, because the Tornados will bounce you around like a tennis ball and the Ice Cocoon will give Aurelia her shields back if she stays in there too long so doge the Tornados and destroy the Ice Cocoon whenever it appears. The Bandits aren't much of a threat and Aurelia's other abilities are more annoying than dangerous. Once her shields are gone, it won't take many more shots to kill Aurelia so keep the pressure on and she will eventually crumble.

Graveward - Fought during the mission "Cold as the Grave":

Note: The 1.10 and 1.11 patches have slightly increased the damage his Eye Laser does to you.

The Graveward has the following attacks:

    Inferno Laser (Eyes or Chest)
    Radiation Balls
    Jabber Spawns
    Grog Spawns
Platform Tilt - More on this in a bit.
    Acid Spitballs
    Corrosive Breath
    Rocket Punch
    Radioactive Mist
    Fire Pits
Rock Falls (these happen during his Rocket Punch attacks)

A section of the platform will change colour to represent which attack is coming and which direction it will come from i.e. Yellow = Radiation, Green = Corrosive and Red = Fire.

The Graveward is the second of 4 Vault monsters but is a 2-part fight, because first you must take out his 2 guardians. Grave & Ward are a joke and will die in just a few shots from a decent shock weapon so wipe them out and wait for the main event to begin!

After the Graveward appears and rips all the greenery out of the ground and walls, immediately head for the hollow on the left and stay there until after the ground has stopped moving. This Platform Tilt attack is by far the most dangerous move the Graveward has so watch for the signs he's about to do it, then head straight for one of the hollows at either edge of the platform and stay there until it's safe. Failing to seek cover during a Platform Tilt, will see you slide off the platform and fall to your death. The Graveward is immune or heavily resistant to all elements, thus you will need non-elemental weapons for this fight. There are 4 main weak spots you need to look out for:

1: His top eye (only fully accessible after he collapses)
2: The Yellow Orb on his left arm (his Left, your Right)
3: The Yellow Orb on his right arm (his Right, your Left)
4: The big glowing spot in the centre of his chest.

After tilting the platform you're on, the Graveward will spit some Acid balls at you so stay in your hollow until they've passed by. Once the Spitballs have disappeared, the Graveward will smash his left arm onto the platform and release some Radiation Balls so keep your distance and unload your Sniper Rifle (or any other weapon with High Critical Hit damage) into the Yellow Orb on the end of his arm until he recoils in pain and withdraws it. The next attack will be either one of his Inferno Lasers, a Grog/Jabber Spawn or a Rocket Punch which might cover most of the platform in Radioactive Mist. The Laser and Rocket Punch are easy enough to dodge by either ducking or outrunning them respectively but the Radioactive Mist will do a fair bit of damage if you get caught in it so be on the lookout for some Health Vials. Also note that the Rocket Punch attacks, will often light the hollows on fire so don't enter one until the fire has gone out. The Grogs and Jabbers are easy enough to kill if you get some critical hits in but can be a pain if any badasses spawn as well. Inbetween his attacks, try to get some hits in on the big glowing spot in the center of the Graveward's chest and whittle his health down.

Once you've knocked off 1/3 of his health, the Graveward will collapse and allow you to empty some bullets into his Eye but be prepared to run for cover when he gets up and dives under the platform in preparation to tilt it. The next 2 phases are very much a rinse and repeat of Phase 1 so keep dodging his attacks, whilst attacking his weakspots whenever the opportunity presents itself. After finishing him off, talk to Tannis then enter the Vault and collect the Eridian Synchronizer.
  • Complete mission "Blood Drive".

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

This trophy will pop after completing the mission "Blood Drive", by talking to Tannis after killing Pain and Terror.

    Boss details:

Carnivora - Fought during the mission "Blood Drive":

The Carnivora is a joke to kill if you drive a Cyclone (the other 2 vehicle types are either too weak or too slow), just follow the instructions you're given to destroy the fuel tanks, transmission and Repair Crews then you'll be able to get on board.

Agonizer 9000 - Fought during the mission "Blood Drive":

The Agonizer 9000 has the following attacks:

    Saw Blades
    A Big Giant Knife
    Mega-Blender
    Underfloor Flamethrowers
    Walls
    The Tenderiser
    Bandit Spawns
    Tink Spawns
    Eridium Laser
    Eridium Vapour

This fight has 3 phases, with a mid-fight resupply/Commercial Break near the halfway point.

    Phase 1: The Agonizer 9000

The Agonizer 9000 has multiple weakspots, represented by its eyes, plus the batteries and fuel tanks on strategic points of its body so focus your best Corrosive weapon on those and whittle down his health. Throughout this fight, you have to watch out for The Mega-Blender (essentially a giant Chainsaw), the Tenderiser (essentially a giant spiked hammer), underfloor Flamethrowers, randomly spawning walls and a smattering of Bandits and Tinks so keep one eye on the boss and the other on your surroundings. At approx the mid-way point of the battle, Pain will call a halt to the proceedings so you can resupply and listen to some promo blurb from Marcus but do note that the ammo crates are on a timer and will explode after approx 15 seconds so don't dawdle. Once the fight resumes, refocus your fire on the Agonizer 9000's weakspots until all of its armour has been destroyed.

Phase 2: The Agonizer's Eridium Core

For Phase 2 of the fight, you will be going toe-to-toe with the Agonizer 9000's Eridium Core and the Laser it periodically fires off. The Eridium Core is an absolute joke, just use your most powerful weapon on it and eventually the core will explode - taking the Agonizer 9000 with it and forcibly ejecting Pain & Terror in the process.

    Phase 3: Pain & Terror

For Phase 3 you have to finish off Pain & Terror but they are a joke to kill, just put a single bullet in each of them and that's it. Now talk to Tannis to finish the mission and pop the trophy.

  • Complete mission "The Great Vault".

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

This trophy will pop after completing the mission "The Great Vault" by talking to Tannis and listening to Lilith, once you leave the Vault of the Architects.

    Boss details:

Troy Calypso - Fought during the mission "Blood Drive":

Troy Calypso has the following attacks:

    Meteorites
    Energy Balls
    Super Energy Ball
    Ground Slam
    Rock Pillar
    Rakk Spawn
    Tiny Spawn

Note: This fight is bugged if you don't have the latest patch installed, because you will fall through the floor after finishing it and have to reload your save.

To defeat Troy, equip a weapon that has either high Critical Hit damage or deals lots of Splash damage, then aim for his head when you get the chance and let him have it.

Troy only has 1 basic attack for most of the fight so keep moving and dodge his Energy balls when you can. The Super Energy Ball happens when Troy returns to Tyreen and leeches even more power from her but you can deactivate it by shooting the 5 laser emitters that are positioned around the arena. Whilst leeching energy from Tyreen, Troy may also send a load of Meteorites your way so shoot down the ones you can and dodge the rest. Troy's final attack is a giant rock pillar that he summons out of thin air and then tries to hit you with it but is an easy one to miss if you keep moving. The Tinks and Rakks aren't a serious threat and will die really quickly when hit.

Once Troy is toast, watch the fake-out ending then enter the Vault of the Architects and collect the Eridian Analyser.
  • Complete mission "In the Shadow of Starlight".

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

This trophy will pop after completing the mission "In the Shadow of Starlight", once you have watched the cutscene that appears after defeating all the COV forces which are attacking

    Boss details:

General Traunt - Fought during the mission "Footsteps of Giants":

General Traunt has the following attacks:

    Homing Elemental Balls
    Maliwan Soldier Spawn
    Shock Pillars

This fight is virtually identical to the Captain Traunt battle from earlier on in the game so use the same tactics again i.e. stay close to him and empty a non-elemental Shotgun into the generator on his back whilst dodging his Elemental attacks. The main difference between this fight and the one against Captain Traunt, is that General Traunt can summon Shock Pillars that deal massive damage if not destroyed. If you enter Fight For Your Life, try and get a Second Wind off one of the many Maliwan Soldiers that Traunt summons periodically throughout the fight.
  • Complete mission "Divine Retribution".

    Story Related, Can't Be Missed

This trophy will pop once you activate Mayhem Mode at the end of the mission "Divine Retribution".

    Boss details:

Tyreen the Destroyer - Fought during the mission "Divine Retribution":

Tyreen the Destroyer has the following attacks:

    Inferno Lasers
    Eridium Laser
    Fireballs
    Eridium Crystal Bombs
    Eridium Crystal Spikes
    Korax Spawn
    Varkid Spawn

Despite the fact she's the final boss, Tyreen the Destroyer is a complete push over so shouldn't give you any grief. She's not immune to any element so just use your most powerful weapon on her. Tyreen's only weakspot is her head, which only appears when she either wants to insult you or use her Eridium Laser. There are multiple attacks you have to watch out for but with the exception of her Eridium Crystal attacks, they're pretty slow easy to avoid. After she has taken sufficient damage, Tyreen will become immune to damage and collapse onto the floor. Once this happens, quickly run round to the back of her and climb up her right leg, then fire a few shots into the Eye on top of Tyreen's Head, which will force Tyreen herself into the open so you can attack her directly.

After forcing Tryreen to enter a couple more Immune phases, she will takeoff for a bit and let the Korax and Varkids annoy you, before returning to fight you again. There will be 2 more immune phases before she's toast but the penultimate one is just so she can use some of her aerial attacks on you. The final immune phase is your opportunity to finish Tyreen off for good so climb on her back, shoot her eye then empty your gun into Tyreen's head. With Tyreen gone, enter the Vault and collect the Eridian Ascentionator then open all the chests before returning to Tannis, Lillith & Ava and watching the final cutscene (you can skip the credits by pressing ). Once the cutscene is over, return to Sanctuary III then go to Lillilth's quarters, where Tannis and Ava are waiting for you. Tannis will open Lillilth's Eridian chest so you can claim the loot inside, then she will give you a key with which to activate Mayhem Mode so head over to the Waypoint marker and insert the key into the top slot on the indicated device. The trophy will pop shortly after Tannis has finished talking.
  • Down yourself by grenade or explosion.

It's likely you will get this by accident but if you want to speed things up, go into your inventory and unequip your shield then equip a Grenade (preferably one that detonates on contact) or a Rocket Launcher. Now find a convenient corner and keep throwing grenades/firing Rockets at the floor until you lose enough health to enter Fight For Your Life, after which the trophy will pop.
  • Use a Golden Key.

    (Online)

    Notes:
    • Whilst you have to be online to redeem the codes for Golden Keys and to receive them in your in-game Mail, you don't have to be online to actually use the key with the Golden Chest. You must have the latest patch and Hot Fix installed, before this is possible.
    • You can't access the Golden Chest, until after you have completed the mission "Sanctuary".
    • Unfortunately, there are some glitches associated with the Golden Chest that make it annoying to use.
    1. Using the save scum exploit for infinite keys, will royally mess up your Guardian Ranks if done once you have gained access to the Guardian Rank system.

    2. Redeeming a code via one of the official websites whilst you're in-game, will cause a delay in the key(s) arriving in your mail box so make sure you're not in-game if you go down that route.

The Golden Chest is located on Sanctuary III and denoted on the map by an icon of a Golden Treasure Chest but to get a Golden Key so you can open it, you must first create and link a SHiFT Account to your PSN ID (LINK) then redeem a code either in-game (:options: => Social => SHiFT) or via the following sites:

    Borderlands.com: LINK
    SHiFT: LINK

To access your key(s) after redeeming a code, go: :options: => Social => Mail then press :cross: to add it to your collection. See here for a list of all the valid codes: LINK. The Golden Key Codes in BL3 have painfully short time limits and more often than not, will have expired before you get to them. Also note that the keys themselves are non-tradable items, thus all you can do is play the waiting game until a code appears which you can actually redeem.

Once you have a Golden Key, walk up to the Golden Chest then press :cross: on it when the prompt appears.
  • Obtain all Vault Rewards.

Story Related, Can't Be Missed but can be GLITCHED

There are 5 Vault Rewards and all of them are story related so can't be missed but despite what the trophy description says, you only actually need to obtain 4 of them. Unfortunately for some people, this trophy can glitch and not pop so save before entering the Vault of the Serpent and reload if the trophy doesn't pop.

Reward 1 - Eridian Resonator (Allows you to break Eridium Crystals and open Eridium Chests) - Found in the Vault of the Rampager on Promethea.

Reward 2 - Eridian Synchronizer (Unlocks the Artifact slot) - Found in the Vault of the Graveward on Eden-6.

Rewards 3 - Eridian Analyser (Required for the Tales From The Eridian Slab and 100 Proof trophies - Found in the Vault of the Architects on Pandora.

Reward 4 - Eridian Fabricator - Given to you by Typhon Deleon on Nekrotafeyo, when you reach the Vault of the Serpent (the trophy will pop here).

Reward 5 - Eridian Ascentionator (Unlocks Mayhem Mode but isn't needed for the trophy) - Found in the Destroyer's Rift Vault after Defeating Tyreen the Destroyer.

DLC: Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot

7 trophies

  • Complete mission All Bets Off.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will pop during the climactic cutscene at the end of the mission "All Bets Off". Note: The February 20th, 2020 Hot Fix has made the "Freddie the Traitor" fight a lot harder but also buggier, especially if you use the Recursion Shotgun so avoid using the weapon until after the fight is over.

Boss 1: Fought during the "Jacks Wild" mission.

    Boss details:

    Fabricator:

The Fabricator has the following attacks:

    Shock Orb
    Loader Spawn
    Lasers
    Missiles
    Shockwave

The Fabricator is a complete joke to kill so use a strong Shock weapon to destroy its shields, then switch to a Corrosive weapon to finish him off. None of its attacks are especially dangerous, just keep an eye on the Loaders and pick them off if they get too close. The Fabricator's weakspots are the red lights in the dead centre of its body but they will be immune to damage whilst it's preparing to launch its missiles.

Boss 2: Fought during the "All Bets Off" mission.

    Boss details:

    Freddie the Traitor:

Freddie the Traitor has the following attacks:

    Pump Action Shotgun
    Loaders

Keep your distance from Freddie the Traitor and his Loaders "Dandelion" and "Petunia", whilst you lay into them, else you will take a lot of damage from the loaders. Freddie is vulnerable to Shock and Fire but "Dandelion" and "Petunia" are vulnerable to Corrosive. Glitch Note: Avoid using the Recursion Shotgun during this fight, else there's a chance that Freddie will fall through the floor and out of the game so can't be killed.

Boss 3: Fought during the "All Bets Off" mission.

    Boss details:

    Jackpot:

    Jackpot has the following attacks:

    Lasers
    Rockets
    Plasma Rockets
    Charged Punch
    Charged Kick
    Charged Jump
    Loader spawn
    Fire Tornado + Lasers
    Flamethrower

For Phases 1-3 you will need a strong Corrosive weapon to whittle down Jackpot's health and take care of the loaders he spawns but for Phase 4 you will need a fire weapon of some description. Jackpot's weakspots are his hands and the red Triangle that appears on his Chest during Phases 3 and 4.

Phase 1: This phase is simple enough, just avoid Jackpot's Lasers, Rockets, Loaders and Charged attacks whilst you whittle away his health. Once his health goes down to zero, he will become immune for a few seconds whilst his health recharges but in the meantime some Loaders will spawn so take care of them before his health comes back. Glitch Note: This phase can bug out whilst Jackpot is immune and cause him to never continue the fight. If this happens to you, your only option is reload your save and try again. Playing in co-op seems to make this glitch happen slightly more often so play by yourself to reduce the chances of it happening.

Phase 2: This phase is a little more complicated due to Jackpot focusing more on his Flamethrower, Plasma Rockets and Charged attacks but there's still nothing you can't easily avoid. At the end of this phase, he will go immune again for a few seconds to recharge his health and summon more loaders whilst he at it so clean them out and prepare for the next phase.

Phase 3: This phase is more dangerous than the others, because Jackpot will start using his Fire Tornado + Lasers attack which is very difficult to avoid so stay on the perimeter of the arena and keep moving. If you do take major damage, open some chests and grab any health you find within. At the end of this phase, he will go immune again for a few seconds to recharge his health and summon more loaders whilst he at it so clean them out and prepare for the final phase.

Phase 4: This the most dangerous phase of the fight, because Jackpot will use nothing but his Charged attacks - all of which are difficult to avoid so try to dodge them as best you can whilst chipping away at his health.

To get this trophy, you have to keep pressing until your hand equals 21 but going over that amount will reward you with 3 Grenades to the face. If you fail to get 21, then save, quit and reload to try again - rinse and repeat until you get it and the trophy pops.
  • Return for a chat with the Clapstructor.

    The Clapstructor is located here:

After the Clapstructor has sacrificed himself for the good of Trashlantis, instead of returning to the Mayor, you should turn around and talk to him to pop the trophy. If you happen to forget to do this the first time around, you can come back later on and he will still be there.
  • Defeat the wandering Debt Collector.

Note: The description for this trophy is very misleading, because there are actually 2 wandering Debt Collectors but only the second one (labelled as The Wandering Debt Collector Mk II) counts towards this trophy.

The spawn rate for the wandering Debt Collector is insanely low but there's nothing you can do except keep reloading the area until he appears. The wandering Debt Collector is a rare spawn enemy, who appears inbetween the Harts Wild and Lonely Hart's Klub Casinos at the following location in the Strip after completing the side mission in Spendopticon called "Sisterly Love":

Most of the time you will encounter another Badass Loader instead when you visit the area but if the wandering Debt Collector doesn't spawn in its place, then quit to the main menu, reload and take another look to see if he has appeared - rinse and repeat until he does.

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pVLmMrofn3o

Once he has spawned, kill him then the trophy will pop.

DLC: Guns, Love, and Tentacles

8 trophies

  • Find the party.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will pop on completion of the mission "The Party Out of Space".

  • Marry your friends.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will pop once the mission "Call of Gythian" has ended.

    Boss details:

Empowered Scholar: Fought during the mission "The Case of Wainwright Jakobs".

The Empowered Scholar has the following attacks:

    Malech spawn
    Nova blast
    Fireballs

Phase 1: Whilst he's floating around, the Empowered Scholar will occasionally fire off some Fireballs from his wand but they don't do much damage so don't worry about them. Once the Empowered Scholar has lost about 90% of his health, he will emit a powerful nova blast then fly to the center of the area and summon some shards to regenerate his health so destroy them immediately. After the Shards have been destroyed, he will jump back into the arena so lay into him with your best weapon.

Phase 2: The second time you knock his health down to approx. 10%, he will fly off to a floating platform to the North East of the area to regenerate his health and create a Shield, but you will have to jump to different platforms in order to reach and destroy all the Shards he summons.

Phase 3: The third and final time you reduce his health to 90%, he will again fly off to a platform but this time to the North West and will generate some armour so quickly head over there and destroy the Shards. Once he lands back in the arena, finish him off with your Rocket Launcher. Glitch warning: This phase can bug out and cause the Empowered Scholar to become completely invincible and fail to progress the battle forward, thus forcing you to quit the game and reload your save. I don't know what causes this glitch or how to prevent it, though staying close to him appears to lessen the chances of it happening.

Wendigo: Fought during the mission "The Horror in the Woods".

See the Older Than the Trees trophy, for a detailed walkthrough of this fight.

Empowered Grawn: Fought during the mission "On the Mountain of Mayhem".

The Empowered Grawn has the following attacks:

    Blood balls
    Minion spawns
    Axe throw
    Shield
    Shield Slam

This is a really simple fight, just avoid the Empowered Grawn's Shield Slam AoE attack and the minions he spawns, then wait for Deathtrap to eliminate his shield when it appears so you can finish him off with your best weapons.

Eleanor & the Heart: Fought during the mission "The Call of Gythian".

Eleanor & the Heart have the following attacks:

    Blood balls
    Slasher Grawn spawns
    Tentacles
    Floating Kich spawns
    Energy Spears
    Teleportation
    Psychokinetic Energy Ball
    Health Drain

Once the cutscene has finished, immediately focus your fire on Eleanor and do as much damage to her as possible. After Eleanor has lost 1/4 of her health, she will become invincible then Sir Hammerlock will tell you to destroy the heart by targeting its crystals but watch out for the Tentacles because they will trash your health if they touch you. Destroying the glowing Crystals will allow you to do some serious damage to the Heart so focus on them first whilst dodging the Tentacles and other enemies but watch out for the Psychokinetic Energy Balls, that Eleanor creates by draining health from her minions, because they will decimate your health if they hit you. Once the Heart is reduced to 1/4 health, Eleanor will drop her invincibility shield and actively try to kill you so dodge her attacks wherever possible whilst focusing on the Heart. Once the Heart is toast, Eleanor will drop dead and the mission will end.

  • Kill the Wendigo.

    Story related, can't be missed

You will fight this creature during the mission "The Horror in the Woods".

    Boss details:

    Wendigo:

The Wendigo has the following attacks:

    Fire Balls
    Charge
    Flame Breath
    Wall Climb
    Rock Fall
    Kritch Summon

Phase 1: During Phase 1, the Wendigo will use his Flame Breath and charge you at every opportunity so keep your distance and use your best Shock or Cryo weapons to whittle his health down.

Phase 2: Once he has lost about 1/4 of his health, the Wendigo will jump onto the nearest platform and start leaping from wall-to-wall whilst knocking the Stalactites off the ceiling of the cave and launch Fire Balls in your direction. During this time, you will only be able to hit the Wendigo whilst he's on his back legs and has his glowing chest exposed so aim for that and do as much damage as you can. Also, watch out for the Kritch enemies that the Wendigo spawns so take them out ASAP.

Phase 3: After doing sufficient damage to him, the Wendigo will fall off the ledge he's on and collapse in front of you so take this opportunity to do massive damage to him before he gets up and repeats his attack pattern from Phase 1. Once he's toast, the battle will end and the trophy will pop.
  • Complete all Crew Challenges and Side Missions on Xylourgos.

Note: AerisFlowerGirl has confirmed that this trophy will pop early for everyone except the host if done in Co-Op.

There are 15 Crew Challenges (5 each for Gaige, Sir Hammerlock and Mancubus Bloodtooth) and 14 Side Missions but do note that some of the Side Missions won't appear until after you have finished the main story.
    Crew Challenges:

    Gaige's Gifts

The Gifts look like this on the map:

Gift 1 can be found on a rooftop on the Eastern side of Cursehaven - Olmstead Square (Gaige will tell you when you're near it).

Gift 2 is in Skittermaw Basin, on a ledge above Umbergrist Village (which is to the South East of the Clan Amourette) but Gaige will tell you when you're near it.

Gift 3 is on a ledge to the South West of the Founder's Office at the end of the Dustbound Archives, near the One Way Fast Travel Station.

Gift 4 is in The Cankerwood, on a ledge to the West of the Fermentation Station (Gaige will tell you when you're near it).

Gift 5 is in Negul Neshai, on a ledge to the East of the "Madness Beneath" Side Mission marker - Gaige will tell you when you're near it.

You can track how many Gifts you've found, by looking at the ones on the dining table at the Lodge:

The above screenshot is of the completed collection but the incomplete one will have 5 pink/orange holograms showing where each Gift will be placed after it has been found. I did originally have a screenshot of the incomplete collection but it vanished from my Hard Drive at some point.

    Sir Hammerlock: Occult Hunts

The Occult Hunts look like this on the map:

Kritchy - Cursehaven - Withernot Cemetery

This creature is in a cul-de-sac to the East of the Withernot Cemetery Fast Travel Station - see the following screenshot for the exact location.

    Yeti - Skittermaw Basin

This creature is in a secluded area to the East of The Cankerwood transit portal - see the following screenshot for the exact location.

    Gmork - The Cankerwood

This creature is in a secluded area near the center of The Cankerwood - see the following screenshot for the exact location.

Kukuwajack - Negul Neshai - The DAHL ship

This creature is in an area to the South West of the Engine Room - see the following screenshot for the exact location.

Kratch - The Heart's Desire - What Beats Beneath

This creature is in a room behind the Fast Travel Station - see the following screenshot for the exact location.

You can track how many you've found, by looking at the Wall Mounts on the top floor of The Lodge:

    Mancubus Eldritch Statues:

Note: All 5 Statues are armoured so bring a Corrosive weapon with you and aim for the head. Also note that each statue will attack you with a powerful laser so snipe them from a safe distance, to avoid taking any damage.

The Eldritch Statues look like this on the map:

Statue 1 (Abrigga) is in a Crypt in Cursehaven - Withernot Cemetery

Statue 2 (Jerick) is in the East Wing of the Dustbound Archives

Statue 3 (Dessica) is in The Cankerwood, in Fugue's Shelter, which is in the North East corner of the map

Statue 4 (Crivon) is in Negul Neshai, in a side room of the Winterdrift Outpost, which is to the North of the Fast Travel Station

Statue 5 (Pelliyo) is in the Heart's Desire, in a shipping container on top of a building in the "What Beats Beneath" area

You can track how many Statues you've destroyed, by checking with the Statue in the Wine Cellar of The Lodge:

The statue will change every time you reload your save so check back frequently to which ones you have and haven't found.

  • Collect all ECHO logs on Xylourgos.

    Notes:
    • The story related ECHO logs obtained during missions and side missions, don't count towards this trophy.
    • The ECHO Logs don't show up on any map so be on the lookout for the tell tale pale blue light beam they emit: LINK.
    • AerisFlowerGirl has confirmed that this trophy will pop early for everyone except the host if done in Co-Op, when the host collects their 20th ECHO Log.
Here is the full list of what each of the 18 ECHO Logs are called and where to find them but you can track which ones you have found, by going:  => Logs => ECHO Logs:

  • Find and kill all 4 rare spawns.

    Notes:
    • You don't need any of the rare spawn creature missions to be active (the ones triggered by a friend killing one of them in their game) for the respective creatures to count towards this trophy.
    • AerisFlowerGirl has confirmed that this trophy will pop early for everyone except the host if done in Co-Op.
    • Spaceknight has confirmed that the stats for this trophy, carry across multiple characters.
    • It is possible to boost this trophy by having a friend kill all 4 Rare spawns in their game so the respective Bounty Missions spawn in your game, on the top floor of The Lodge. Please use the boosting thread if you wish to go down this route: LINK
Thanks to the May 21st, 2020 Hot Fix - all 4 rare spawns are now guaranteed to spawn every time you enter their spawn zone so there's no need to keep saving and quitting until they show up. Also note that there's no way to keep track of which ones you have and haven't killed.

    Locations:

Amoch - Cursehaven - Lantern's Hook, in the area to the North East of the Lantern's Hook Fast Travel Station

Fungal Gorger - The Cankerwood, near the Fermentation Station

Shiverous the Unscathed - Negul Neshai, in the area directly to the North of the Fast Travel Station. Shiverous is a pain to kill, because he's always flying and never lands but is also immune to Cryo and resistant to Radiation so bring either a Fire or Corrosive Weapon with good accuracy and Rate of Fire.

Voltborn - Negul Neshai, in an area to the North East of the Eldritch Statue

  • Listen to 25 fish jokes.

Note: The description of this trophy is misleading, because it fails to mention that you have to listen to 25 unique jokes and not 25 repeated ones.

This can be done at anytime, just go The Lodge and press  on the mounted fish on a wall in the bottom Left-Hand corner of the ground floor (AKA the First Floor if you're in the US):

Each time the fish tells a joke, you will have to save, quit and reload your save for it to refresh, therefore letting you press  again to hear another joke and get showered with loot - rinse and repeat until you have heard 25 unique jokes and the trophy has popped. Note: The jokes will start to repeat after a while so expect to hear the same ones a few times before this trophy pops.

    Alternate method:

TfT02 has found an alternate method, that involves obtaining a rare Room Decoration which only drops from the fish nets you find scattered around this DLC so see the following video for details:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8O7Vq0itYi8

By using this method, you don't have to reload your game every time but the time saved is offset by how long it takes to actually farm the required item. If you want to use this method, then the fastest way to farm the required Decoration is head to The Lodge's Wine Cellar and press  on the 2 Fish Nets hanging in the kitchen area. If the Decoration doesn't drop, then save, quit, reload and try again - rinse and repeat until it appears. Credit to Spaceknight for the farming tip.

Unfortunately, there's no easy way to track your progress towards this trophy so keep either a written or mental note of how many unique jokes you've heard. There are multiple Fish you can talk to but the one in The Lodge is the first you will encounter, though TfT02's method is another possibility. If you want to use the Alternate Method, then use the Trading Thread to speed things up: LINK

Secret trophies

  • Watch Deathtrap kill 50 enemies.

    Notes:
    • It's currently unknown if the stats for this trophy will carry over between playthroughs or multiple characters.
    • You might not have to actually watch him kill each and every enemy, because the trophy popped for me when he was off-screen.
    • If you are playing as Fl4k, then make sure you unequip his pet so it doesn't steal any of Deathtrap's kills. Credit to Spaceknight for this note.
You will have 4 encounters with Gaige and Deathtrap but only 3 will see Deathtrap engaged in combat:

Encounter 1: This is right near the start of the DLC, when you're exploring Skittermaw Basin and trying to make your way to the pre-Wedding party at The Lodge. After a little while you will get a message and have to look for a crashed Landing Pod. Once you find it, Gaige and Deathtrap will be fighting off some of the locals so hold back and let them wipe out all of the enemies.

Encounter 2 - Doesn't count towards the trophy: Once Wainwright puts on the Cursed Ring, he will fall unconscious and Deathtrap will carry him back to The Lodge.

Encounter 3 - Farming spot: The next time you will have access to Deathtrap, is during the mission "On the Mountain of Mayhem" when you have to teleport him to your location on the DAHL ship so let him do his stuff but keep out of his way and make sure you don't accidentally kill anything. You can farm this boss encounter in post-story free-roam, because Deathtrap will always be there whilst you're fighting the boss so stand back and let him take care of both the enemies and Boss. Credit to Zonato for discovering this trick. See below for a screenshot showing this location, in case you've forgotten where it is:

Encounter 4: The final time that Gaige and Deathtrap will join you, is near the start of the mission "The Call of Gythian". Deathtrap will now be so overpowered, that just 1 or 2 hits from his attacks will literally liquidate anything they touch so sit back and watch the body parts fly.

Once you have seen Deathtrap kill his 50th enemy, the trophy will pop.

DLC: Bounty of Blood

8 trophies

  • Complete all plot missions, side missions, and crew challenges on Gehenna.

This trophy is essentially a mini-Platinum and will unlock once you have earned all the other trophies in the Bounty of Blood DLC.
  • Complete all crew challenges on Gehenna.

There are 45 crew challenges available, spread between 5 Quest givers (Jameson the Historian, Jessop the Prospector, Juno, Ezra the Tanner and, finally, an unnamed Theatre Owner):

    - 10 Journals (Sato's Saga)
    - 5 Arms Caches (Sato's Saga) - These won't appear on your map until after you have found both Journals in the respective regions.
    - 8 Creature Hunts (Skin to Win)
    - 6 Treasure Chests (Good Prospects)
    - 6 Film Reels (Creature Feature)
    - 10 Most Wanted Devil Rider Lieutenants (Gehenna's Most Wanted)

    Breakdown by Region:

Vestige = 1 Film Reel, 2 Journals, 1 Cache and 1 Hidden Treasure Chest
The Blastplains = 2 Film Reels, 2 Journals, 1 Cache, 3 Creature Hunts, 3 Most Wanted and 1 Hidden Treasure Chest
Ashfall Peaks = 1 Film Reel, 2 Journals, 1 Cache, 1 Creature Hunt, 3 Most Wanted and 1 Hidden Treasure Chest
Obsidian Forest = 1 Film Reel, 2 Journals, 1 Cache, 3 Creature Hunts, 1 Most Wanted and 1 Hidden Treasure
Bloodsun Canyon = 1 Film Reel, 2 Journals, 1 Cache, 1 Creature Hunt, 3 Most Wanted and 1 Hidden Treasure Chest
    Crater's Edge = 1 Hidden Treasure Chest

Unlike the Crew Challenges in the main game and previous DLCs, most of the ones in this DLC have abysmal reveal distances which means they won't show on the map until you're almost on top of them. Fortunately, you can get a heads up on the location of certain Treasure chests and most of the Most Wanted criminals by pressing  on the various Treasure Maps and Mini-Bounty Boards that are found through each map:

Due to the sheer size of this walkthrough, I have turned it into a Supplement so please see that for more details on how to get this trophy: LINK
  • Complete all side missions on Gehenna.

There are 11 side missions available but do note that there aren't any in Crater's Edge. I've listed all 11 in the order I encountered them in-game, which should also be the same order they become:

    Miracle Elixir Fixer
    Devil Rustlers
    Saurdew Valley
    Money Back Guarantee
    The Legend of McSmugger
    Dirty Deeds
    The Quick and the Quickerer
    Lost and Found
    Of Blood and Beans
    The Meatman Prophecy
The Dandy and the Damsel - The trophy will pop here if you finish all the missions in this order.

Secret trophies

  • Complete mission “Blood from a Stone”.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will unlock at the end of the mission "Blood from a Stone", after you try and fail to save the Sheriff of Vestige from Rose's forces, then pick up his badge.
  • Complete mission “The Name of the Law”.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will pop shortly after you complete the mission "The Name of the Law", which is when you free the Wanderer and he has finished telling his tale.

    Boss details:

Kormash: Fought during the mission "The Name of the Law".

    Kormash has the following attacks:

    Grenades
    Suicide Drones
    Shotgun
    Crystal Smash
    "Poke" spawn

Kormash isn't a hard boss to kill, just stay out of range of his attacks whilst plugging away at his head with your best long range fire weapon. His only really dangerous attack is when he smashes the various Obsidian crystals that are scattered around the room and unleashes the explosive projectiles within. The "Poke" enemies he spawns are easily dealt with, but don't let them get too close, else you run the risk of being cornered. If things start getting hairy, then use the Jump Pads to escape whoever's shooting at you.
  • Complete mission “Off the Rails”.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will pop soon after you have spoken to the real Train Conductor and he has revealed where the train was heading.

    Boss details:

Belik Primis: Fought during the mission "Off the Rails".

Belik Primis has the following attacks:

    Homing Radiation Orbs
    Belik spawn
    Charge
    Ground Pound
    Tentacle Slap
    Armour generation

First off, Radiation, Cryo and non-elemental weapons do almost no damage to Belik Primis so don't don't waste your time using them. To keep the Beliks off your back for a bit, turn them against each other by shooting some Traitor Weed. Belik Primis really isn't that hard to kill, just stay out of range of his Homing Radiation Orbs and chip away at his health from a safe distance with your best Fire weapon but use a Corrosive one if he generates any Armour.
  • Complete mission “Riding to Ruin”.

    Story related but GLITCHED

This mission is currently glitched to hell for a lot of people, due to either not being able to spawn Jetbeasts or the NPCs stopping dead in their tracks and entering an unbreakable dialogue loop because you left them mid-mission.

    Boss details:

Rose: Fought during the mission "Riding to Ruin".

Note: Unlike every other boss in the game, Rose is a one-time encounter and will disappear after defeating her for the first time.

    Rose has the following attacks:

    Cloud Shot
    Rapid fire
    Super speed
    Blade Tornado
    Explosive spit
    Shockwave

This arena is one of the smallest in the game, which means it will be harder to avoid Rose's attacks, so use the boulders as cover wherever possible then peak out and take pot shots when you can. The main attack you have to worry about is Rose's Blade Tornado, because it has a large attack radius and does a ton of damage if it connects with you, but her other attacks are easier to avoid because they have a longer charge up time.

The Ruiner: Fought during the mission "Riding to Ruin".

The Ruiner has the following attacks:

    Snapper spawn
    Underground spikes
    Corrosive Laser

If you've fought Crawmerax in Borderlands 1 or the Son of Crawmerax in Borderlands 2, then the Ruiner shouldn't come as a surprise. This is because mechanically, the Ruiner fight is very similar to the aforementioned boss battles in that you can only do serious damage to him by shooting specific parts of his body and shooting anywhere else is just a waste of ammo. The Ruiner has 3 attacks but the only one you really have to worry about is when he unleashes a powerful Laser from his mouth, which is more than capable of insta-killing you if you're not at full health so use the Jump Pads to jump over it and avoid taking damage.

The Ruiner takes almost no damage from any weapon types or element but does have a weak spot, namely the spikes on his back so chip away at them with your most powerful weapon. When he goes underground, use one of the Telezappers to follow him there. Once you're underground, look for the spiky brown bulge on the ceiling then empty your weapon of choice into it but don't hang around too long else the platform you're on, will sink into the lava and quickly kill you so use the Telezapper to return to the surface. This fight is very much a case of rinse and repeat but if you run low on ammo, shoot the flying enemies to get some ammo back but also don't forget you can use the Obsidian crystals to do at least some damage to him. Once he's toast, skip the credits then Fast Travel back to Vestige and collect the Bounty.
  • Complete mission “Where It All Started”.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will pop after you witness Rose deploying The Ruiner from orbit.

    Boss details:

The Quartermaster: Fought during the mission "Riding to Ruin".

The Quartermaster has the following attacks:

    Oaken Wolf (his mech)
    Oaken Wolf's Missile Barrage
    Turret
    Shotgun
    Teleport

Phase 1: During this phase, all you have to do is avoid Oken Wolf's Missile barrages whilst taking potshots at him with a Corrosive weapon. Once you've reduced his Armour to 1%, he will enter a healing phase so focus your attention on the Quartermaster instead. Eventually the Quartermaster will teleport to a new location and Oaken Wolf will start firing Missiles at you again so rinse and repeat what you did before until he jumps down to take you on face-to-face. If things get dicey, use the Telezappers to get away from Oaken Wolf.

Phase 2: Phase 2 is simple; dodge the Quartermaster's attacks whilst hitting him from a safe distance with a decent Fire weapon. Once the Quartermaster's dead, Oken Wolf will blow up and the fight will end.

DLC: Psycho Krieg and the Fantastic Fustercluck

7 trophies

  • Complete mission “Enter the Psychoscape”.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will unlock at the end of the mission "Enter the Psychoscape", once you use the orb that Psycho Krieg gives you and open the designated portal.
  • Defeat Evil Lilith.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will unlock during the mission "Siege of Castle Crimson".

    Boss details:

Evil Lilith: Fought during the mission "Siege of Castle Crimson".

Evil Lilith has the following attacks:

    Homing Elemental Pulses
    Corkscrew Dash
    Fire Trails
    Nova Rocks

Phase 1: The only attacks you really have to pay attention to are her Fire Trails and Homing Elemental Pulses because they will do major damage and apply a powerful random DoT (Damage over Time) to you if they hit, but, fortunately, they can be shot down. The key to survival is to keep moving and use your most powerful Fire weapon to whittle down Evil Lilith's health until she enters her invincibility phase.

Phase 2: This phase is a pain because you not only have to watch out for the Homing Elemental Pulses but the Nova emitting rocks she summons as well, though fortunately those can be destroyed. As before, keep moving and doing as much damage as you can until Evil Lilith is toast and the trophy pops.
  • Defeat Locomöbius.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will unlock during the mission "What love Remains".

    Boss details:

Locomobius: Fought during the mission "What love Remains".

    Locomobius has the following attacks:

    Psycho spawn
    Bandit spawn
    Bullet Flier spawn
    Rockets
    Hyperion Turrets
    Rock Fall

Phase 1: Locomobius is a tough cookie because of how much health he has but this phase isn't too bad, just plug away at the glowing panels on his underside whilst avoiding all the Bandits, Psychos and Bullet Fliers he spawns. Locomobius is invincible whilst he's flying around so wait until he stops, before trying to shoot him with your best Corrosive weapon.

Phase 2: This phase is more of the same but now with added Rocks falling from the ceiling and turrets firing at you from the top of Locomobius so keep running around, dodging both him and his attacks whilst getting in as many hits as you can. Once he's toast, the trophy will pop.
  • Defeat Dr. Benedict.

    Story related, can't be missed

This trophy will unlock during the mission "Inhuman Trials".

    Boss details:

Dr. Benedict: Fought during the mission "Inhuman Trials".

Dr. Benedict has the following attacks:

    Berserk Patient spawn
    Explosive Saw Blades
    Shield Regen Laser
    Irradiated Goo Cannon

Providing you stay out of range of Dr. Benedict's attacks and use a Shock weapon to take out his shield and use a fire weapon to finish him off, you shouldn't have too many problems. The Shield Regen, Explosive Sawblades and his Irradiated Goo Cannon are the main attacks you have to look out for, because the Laser will drain your Shield and give it to him, the Explosive Saw Blades will really hurt if they hit you and the Goo Cannon will deal massive Radiation damage if you come into contact with either it or the puddles it leaves behind. Dr. Benedict isn't hard to kill so keep your distance and aim for his head, whilst trying to avoid his attacks. Once he's toast, the trophy will pop.
  • Defeat Psychoreaver.

    Story related but GLITCHED

Glitch note: The "Locus of Rage" mission can be very buggy and either not allow you to turn it in or Psychoreaver can bug out and not respawn if you quit during the fight, thus locking you out of the Vault so backup your save before going anywhere near Vaulthalla.

This trophy will unlock at the end of the mission "Locus of Rage".

    Boss details:

Psychoreaver: Fought during the mission "Locus of Rage".

    Psychoreaver has the following attacks:

    Berserk Patient spawn
    Bullet Rider spawn
    Lightning Spear
    Lightning Storm
    Lightning Mace
    Fire Mace
    Mace
    Stomp
    Ground Pound
    Chest Rays

Phase 1: This fight won't be easy, because Psychoreaver has a ton of health and his Lightning attacks will kill you almost instantly if you get caught up in them so keep your distance and aim for his head. Your best option is to keep moving around and using the Jump Pads whenever possible and not stay in one place for too long, else Psychoreaver will use one of his Lightning attacks. Knocking off a third of his health will trigger the next phase of the fight.

Phase 2: This phase is where things start to get ugly, because Psychoreaver will periodically fly into the air and call down a massive lightning storm on your position that also electrifies the floor so find a Jump Pad ASAP then use it to get to higher ground. Once you get him down to half health, he will disappear then Tannis and the two Kriegs will appear.

Phase 3: After some dialogue from Tannis, Psychoreaver will reappear and be bigger and angrier than ever. Fortunately, his Mace attacks are very easy to avoid but watch out for the Bullet Rider enemies he spawns else they will deal major damage to you. To do any damage to him at all, you will need a weapon with considerable range e.g. a Sniper Rifle or Assault Rifle. Periodically, the two Kriegs will appear and use their combined power to restrain Psychoreaver so quickly take advantage of this situation to do some serious damage to him. It's during this phase that he will use his most powerful attack i.e. his Chest Rays, which will almost instantly put you in Fight for Your Life if you get caught by them so hide behind something until the attack is over. You will know when he's about to do this attack, when he moves his left hand (your right) down his belt.

The trophy will pop moments after Psychoreaver's death.
  • Open the gates to Vaulthalla.

REQUIRES THE OCTOBER 8TH, 2020 OR HIGHER HOT FIX INSTALLED TO UNLOCK PROPERLY

Note: The description for this trophy is misleading, because it falsely implies that you only have to open the initial gate to Vaulthalla and the portal that leads to the Vault itself.

The "gates" the trophy description refers to, are the 2 rainbow force fields that block access to the rear half of the Vault that opens up after you kill Psychoreaver in Vaulthalla. To open these force fields, you have to shoot the 12 large yellow square/diamond buttons and 12 small ones that are scattered throughout the map so please see the following video by Kody McHugh for their locations:

    https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HPTaoNVVvgg

Note: Contrary to what the narrator says, there is no time limit on when you have to shoot the buttons.

    Crew Challenges:

    Signal to Noise

The Probes look like this on the map but unlike the crew challenges in the main game and other DLCs, there is no central location where you can check which ones you have and haven't found:

The game doesn't explain the Probe mechanics at all but what you have to do is destroy all the Memory Orbs that are attached by Mind Threads to the central dispenser. Annoyingly, some of the later Probes have multiple false Memory Orbs that have nothing to do with the crew challenge so pay attention to the trajectories and only destroy the ones with Mind Threads attached to them. Also note that you only have approx 10 seconds to destroy all of the relevant Memory Orbs for any given crew challenge, else you will have to redo them from scratch so use a decent Sniper Rifle and don't miss!

    Castle Crimson:

Probe 1 is on a ledge to the far right of the first jump pad you come to in Castle Crimson.

Probe 2 is on a ledge opposite the path that leads away from the second catapult. To get up there, you have to parkour your way up the cliff opposite the respawn point.

Probe 3 is on a ledge near the top of the Escher-esque puzzle room. To reach this one, climb up to the pile boxes on the South side then follow the path round until you're facing the probe and able to jump over to it.

    Sapphire's Run:

Probe 1 is on a floating platform opposite the marker for the side mission "Krieg's on Parade". To get up there, use Maya's book on the nearby plinth which will then summon a platform you can use to reach the probe.

Probe 2 is on a piece of floating debris that is diagonally opposite the "Brainstorm" side mission but as before, use Maya's book on the nearby plinth to summon some platforms you can use to jump over to it.

Probe 3 is on a floating platform in an area to the left of where you teleport to when trying to cross the bridge that Locomobius destroyed. Use Maya's book with the nearby plinth to summon a platform you can use to jump over to the probe.

    Benediction of Pain:

Probe 1 is on the edge of the cliff that is directly opposite the Handsome Jack mask in the first area you come to. Note that the location marker for this probe has an abysmally short detection distance so won't show up until you're almost on top of it.

Probe 2 is on the edge of the platform opposite the Electrified door you have to open.

Probe 3 is on the edge of a cliff in the area where you have to take out the Wardwatcher.
