Discovery is a Minecraft clone which is focused on the exploration of a giant world made of blocks that you can freely modify with your own creations and creativity. You're able to construct houses, build entire villages, cites etc. The major downside to all of this is that there are aren't any survival elements and don't expect to be fighting monsters or using weapons in this game, because it doesn't have any violence at all. The game does support up to 2-4 players online Co-Op that lets you build together with your friends.

Trophy-wise, the game is very simple and can be completed in about 25-40 minutes. There are three trophies that you can unlock offline by yourself without the need to go online. However, the final trophy that you need does require that you go online at least once. The major downside to this online trophy is that it requires someone to be on your friend list and they need to own a copy of the game. This game isn't popular and the price they're asking for it is quite expensive, thus it might take you awhile to find a Co-Op partner before you can unlock the online trophy. I personally recommend that you search for a partner first before beginning the game.

PlayStation VR is fully supported throughout the game but isn't necessarily required. I don't recommend playing with the PS VR because there are way better games that you can use the PS VR with. The Trophy Guide will be written with Non-VR Support.

Step 0: Find a friend or Co-Op Partner before starting the game

As mentioned in the introduction, this game isn't that popular. It might take a while before you find someone who has a copy of the game. I recommend that you find a friend or Co-Op partner before starting this game. It will save you some time instead of waiting for days, weeks or even months before you find someone.

Please use this thread to find Co-Op partners:

Step 1: Start Single Player Mode (or Cooperative) and unlock all 3 offline trophies

After loading up the game for the first time, you will want to start either Single Player or Cooperative Mode. Single Player is, of course, the offline mode while Cooperative allows you to invite a friend into your world once you loaded it or created it. When you're on the World Info screen, which is where you can create a world of your own making or you can accept the randomly generated world the game gives you. There's no need to get fancy so just accept the world as it is and select "Play World".

Once you're in the world, you want to focus on travelling 1,000 meters as that is the only time-consuming trophy that you need to worry about unlocking. The other two offline trophies require you to simply press the button at least once to open the Material Browser. With the final offline trophy requiring at least 24 minutes to pass by for it to unlock. Every minute in this world is 1 hour so 24 minutes is at least one day in this world. Those three things will unlock all your offline trophies.

If you started Cooperative mode you can also invite your friend into your session by pressing the button and then searching through your friend list for that friend. As soon as they join your world (or if they invited you) both players will unlock the only online trophy that this game has.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophies:

  • Open the Material Browser
  • Explore the world
  • Be more than one day in a world

Step 2: Play together with a friend in Cooperative Mode

This step will assume you already have an online friend or Co-Op partner. Have the host create a new session in the Multiplayer Menu and start the world. Upon loading the world, have the host invite the other player into the session and the trophy will unlock for both players once they accepted and joined the lobby.

At the end of this step, you will have earned the following trophy:

  • Play together with a friend

Step 3: Cleanup

This is an optional step and may not be needed. If you're missing any trophies, then now is the time to clean them up. If you still don't have a partner for the online trophy, then please use the following thread to make a request:

  • Have a look at all the materials you can build with.

For this trophy, all you have to do is take a look at the Material Browser by simply pressing the button at least once. In this menu, you will see about 260 materials that you can use to build with.

  • Travel more than 1000 meter from start point.

For this trophy, you need to travel more than 1,000 meters from the start point. This means as soon as you're loaded into the game world and start moving. A distance travelled by meters will count towards this trophy. Now, there's really no way to check how close you are to unlocking this trophy. However, if you look in the upper left-hand corner of the screen. You will see some numbers that also seem to represent your current distance travelling. It changes as you're moving but if you hold the button in the direction, you will see the number increasing and as it gets closer to about 800-1,000 - the trophy will unlock.

Furthermore, it should be noted that you travel faster by flying and not walking. To toggle between flying or walking, simply press the button. The trophy will take about 6-8 minutes of your time to unlock.

  • Experience at least one day in the world.

For this trophy to unlock, you need to experience at least one day in the world. In this world, 24 minutes equals exactly 24 hour (1 minute = 1 hour) so if you look in the top upper left-hand corner of the screen, you will notice an in game clock. Once 24 minutes go by from the moment you loaded the game world (or joined a friend's online session) the trophy will unlock because at least one day in the game world has passed by.

If you wish, you can idle for the 24 minutes to pass by and the trophy will still unlock. There's no need to actually play or build things in this game at all. You can also focus on travelling more than 1,000 meters for the Explore the world trophy to unlock.

  • Host or join a match and play together with one or more friends.

    (Online)

For this trophy to unlock, you will need to play with at least one or more friends. The downside to this is that these friends need to be on your friend list as there's no other way to find people or join other worlds created online. To host a game, you need to go into Cooperative Mode and then create a world. Once you load your world, press the button to open the Friend List menu. From here, you can invite your friend or Co-Op partner and once they joined your lobby, the trophy will unlock after the loading screen is finished.

Since the game isn't that popular I highly recommend that you find a friend or Co-Op partner who owns the game before playing it. This might be the last trophy that you need to unlock due to this reason.
