ALRIGHT ROOKIE, WELCOME TO BLITZ: THE LEAGUE II! I personally love this game, but by no means is this an easy platinum. Only 3 people have this platinum on our site, so that says something. If my road map doesn't answer your questions, then check out joseph2728's trophy guide. If you still need help, PM me I'll be glad to help out. NOW GET TO WORK ROOKIE!!
STEP 1 - CAREER MODE:
First thing you do is decide what position you're going to play on offense and defense. On offense, choose either quarterback or running back (do not choose to be a receiver). If you choose to be a quarterback, then make sure you choose running back on your 2nd season. For defense pick to be a safety in both seasons (I think it’s best because no one is assigned to block him, so it makes blitzing very easy).
Next, decide if you're going to be faithful to 1 girl or hook up with all 3 girls. This is one of the reasons you have to play the career mode 2 times. Now, after you create your team, complete Training Mode to earn “He's Ready”.
Now, just play through the season and you’ll earn the majority of the trophies. Really work on “Skid Mark”, “A-train”, "Dr. Feelgood" and "Anatomy Lesson", as these 4 trophies are very frustrating and took me a VERY long time! (More on these below).
Before each game make sure you train your team. You can auto-assign or do it yourself. I also recommend you use juice (steroids) only on your player. Anyone else is a waste of money. Pick the juice called “suluston” every week unless the juice of the week is worth it. You’ll be spending the majority of your money on upgrades for your team. I suggest putting most of the upgrades on whatever position you're playing, but you always want to upgrade speed.
At the beginning of every game you can bet a certain amount on the game. I highly recommend you do the max bet every time because if you win the bet, the max bet increases every game!
Every game do your best, because you're going to have to win MVP in all 3 seasons for "Hall of Fame". Unleash every play if possible and never kick extra points. Always go for 2. Touchdowns will earn you the most money, so try never to kick field goals, either.
STEP 2 - CAREER AGAIN:
A 2nd career is required for two reasons:
1. Whichever offensive position you picked to play in your 1st career, quarterback or running back, pick the other position and work on those trophies.
2. The other reason are the two girlfriend trophies. You either have to be faithful to 1 girl or date all 3 girls. Depending on what you chose in your first career, choose the other.
STEP 3 - ONLINE: - No longer possible due to server closure
Start off by going here to find a boosting partner: https://www.playstationtrophies.org/forum/blitz-league-2/2629-trophy-boosting-thread.html
The online trophies are pretty tough due to fact that not many play this game online. The 6 trophies for online are very straight forward, so you won't have any trouble once you find a partner. Even "The Clap" trophy seems to be easy now.
If you have no luck finding a boosting partner I will help out ,but only if you've tried really hard to find a partner and you have the majority of the game's trophies. If so, PM me on here and we'll go from there.
STEP 4 - GLITCHED (in my opinion) AND VERY HARD TROPHIES
1. "Skid Mark" (Cause 3 weather slips to your opponent in a Campaign Mode game) - The reason I claim this to be glitched is because sometimes when you cause a weather slip it won't always register.
To cause a weather slip the game has to be raining. Games that rain are very rare so if you come across a game that's raining, make this your main goal. Around the 2nd quarter you'll start to see areas of the field that have a lot more water than other areas. Run the ball towards these areas and use the button to spin - this causes the weather slip. Make sure you see a small message appear on your screen to confirm that you did it. Also remember that you need to cause 3 in one game! Not over your career.
2. "A-Train" (Manually break 3 tackles during a Campaign Mode game) - I also say this is glitched because just as above, it doesn't always register.
Sometimes when you're running the ball you'll get an icon on the screen telling you to push rapidly. If you break the tackle, you should get a small message saying you did it. Remember you need 3 in one game! Not over your career.
3. "Dr. Feelgood" (Successfully perform 10 Great Triages (over 90%) in Campaign Mode)
Very Hard! This is the part of the game when your player gets injured and they stick a needle in him on the sidelines. Once the screen comes up, push the pause button around every half second. When you see the needle in the center, release pause and push very quickly. You pretty much have to be perfect. Also has to be done during 1 career! It does not carry over to another career.
4. "Anatomy Lesson" (You have caused every possible injury at least once)
This is easily the hardest trophy in the game. Play the mode "Bone Crushers" under the Bonus modes. There are no helmets so an injury happens almost every play! All modes, including multiple careers, count toward this. I highly suggest you keep track of every injury you get, because the game doesn't keep track of which ones you're missing. There are 31 injuries total. Here is a great link of all the possible injuries: Midway Boards - Injury List. You will need this guide!
STEP 5 - CLEANUP RUN
As of this point you should have almost every trophy, with the exception of a few. "Anatomy Lesson" will take you the longest so keep working on it and watch out for those 2 glitchy trophies!
