  • This truly is Impossible. Or I'm just not very good!
  • this trophy is a pain in the a**
  • Yes it is. I'm doing all the others right now (exept hard & survivor) but I'm really not looking forward to it.
  • I'm busy with this now.. It's not really that hard - the big daddys are a pain tho (Just remember to Rescue the little sister's for extra adam)..
  • Isn't there a glitch in this trophy where you complete the whole game on easy without using a Vita-Chamber and then you switch it to the hardest level right before fighting Atlas? Is that even possible? I heard it works...
  • I would say: Try it!
  • It really isn't that hard - Not using a Vita-Chamber is fine but remember to SAVE OFTEN! Since you have unlimited saves, you have unlimited checkpoints... Easy Money. :)
  • This movie is a pain in the ass until Hephaestus. Then you can abuse the hell out of the slot machines, the Enrage plasma, and the crossbow. You can start going nuts with the camera even sooner.
  • Yeah I'm working on this now, just save every time you progress slightly, kill something etc and pretty soon you'll start leveling up so to speak and it get's easier, by the end of the Medical Pavilion really :)
  • Shouldn't it say "Set vita-chambers to "ON" ?
  • This is very hard in the first few levels, but it gets a lot easier once you get the camera and can do research to get damage bonuses.
  • In options it should be "Disable Vita-Chambers: ON" Only problem with survivor is the big daddy's before getting the frag launcher.
  • This trophy can't be achieved in the game plus mode can it?
  • Not that hard, a little longer. Use wrench and all wrench oriented tonics for splicers. Study everything, study Houdini splicer for Natural Camouflage. Lure Little Sisters (telekenisis bodies) to harvest adam where a pirated camera see her Big Daddy then use Security Bullseye plasmid on him.
  • This is one of those that start at the peak and gradually goes down in difficulty as you get better weapons and plasmids. The first bouncer is bound to take a few to alot of tries until you get it down, but from there it gets easier. take photos of everything and hack everything(cams, bots, health stations and turrets mainly). a tip for taking down big daddies easily before you get the crossbow and trap darts is to use proximity mines on oilcans or gascontainers and throw it at them with telekinesis. oh and save ALOT.
  • First off Deff starts off flippin hard but gets easier. I didnt bother with the big daddies untill i got Big Daddy Hypotize plasmid that mixed with Natural Camo makes fighting the Big Daddies soooooooooo much easier. Saving often is key.
  • Besides Atlas, I see Big Daddies being the greatest obstacles for this trophy and platinum
  • Hacked security cameras, Big Daddy Hypnotize(if you need to lead him to a camera),and Security Bulls-eye are the secrets to taking down Big Daddies. Just be sure to leave him with a lil bit of health so he can go and find a sister if you needed to use Hypnotize
  • I tried switching it to survivor right before i sucked the last bit of adam out of atlas but it didnt work
  • Agree with #7 on the not that hard part, save files are limited to 470 however. Just in case this helps anyone, I beat Fontaine with (1) Mines, Target Dummy, Wrench + Wrench Jockey 2, Wrench Lurker 2, Sportboost and Sportboost 2, (2) Security Bullseye, Electric Gel, (3) Enrage!, RPG, Frag Grenades. Also: Armored Shell 2, Human Inferno 2, Frozen Field 2 and Electric Flesh 2.
  • This seems easy enough.
  • Oh fuh....it begins...
  • Just got it! Now I need to replay caused I missed some tonics and killed Cohen too early...
  • As soon as you get security bullseye plasmid all BD are à joke. Just find one and go to the nearest vendor/med station/etc, failhack and trigger an alarmtile on purpose and then throw security bullseye on BD. Aaaaaaaaaand he's dead :)
  • doing this one right now, i remember doing it along time ago. pretty easy :3
  • Just finished this. killed everyone with my pimp wrench including fontaine. easy as pie :3
  • ima try to go for this
  • Odd question, but I noticed that when I switched off vita-chambers on my save, it did the same to my brother (who plays on his own separate account). When he plays he switches them back on (he also plays on easy). This shouldn't affect me getting the no vita-chamber/survivor trophies right? Thanks!
  • I'm thinking of going back to try and get this platinum. I've always put it off because of how hard it looked.
  • this trophy should have been aborted at birth
  • This isn't hard at all really. The wrench is godly (you can easily take down the final boss with it), turn vita chambers off, and save often. I rarely died and the game was still too easy for me.
  • upon attempting this, it actually wasn't that hard. idk about the wrench thing the crossbow got me through stuff the best. but yeah the final boss is a piece of cake.
  • On paper this looks extremely hard, after reading comments I feel like I shall have the power to one day attain this trophy
  • So i started on Survivor but i didn't turn off the vita chambers, HOWEVER, i did not save after using one, so i loaded BEFORE i died (so that means that was before the vita chamber revived me). Basically, my save file doesn't have any use of vita chamber on it. Does it still count as if i haven't used vita chamber? or do i have to start all over again?? Thanks!
  • Another couple tips I would like to add to this for those who are still trying for this and think it looks hard: 1) If you have full health, keep an eye out for bandages so your not wasting money on health packs or using ones that you can save for later. 2) Make sure to watch out for coffee and cigs, more the coffee than the cigs because it does great things for the eve if you can find a good quantity and you don't want to waste a Eve Hypo. 3) Hackers Delight. If you don't need to hack a vending machine or health machine. Save them for when your pretty low on health and want to save health packs and eve hypos. Also, if you can wait to hack safes and security turrets that's also helpful. If your feeling risky, make sure to have freeze or the electric bolt to get a hack on turrets. 4)
  • 4) If you're having difficulties at the beginning, do what you can to make it to the bottom floor (but make sure that the door entrance is melted) and make it into the room with the trophies and tennis rackets. Once you have this power you can just launch dead bodies at the splicers that are alive and its basically a one hit kill when you hit them. 5) If you want another way to eat the health off the big daddies (douchey rosy's) and have a bunch of proximity mines your not using. Find a red barrel/tank and just stick a bunch of the mines on it and use the telekinesis plasma to launch it at them. Hope this helps!
  • Got it! What a blast these games are!! The only trophy I had any trouble with was the avid inventer one. Best advice is to make another save just before the atlas fight and hammer the invent machine with the invention tonics equipped. If you don't have enough for the 100 inventions beat atlas and after the difficulty trophies pop load up the extra save change the difficulty to easy and go hunting for some bouncers/rosies and you'll have it in no time :)
  • So I was playing and I saved right before I died and it sent me too the vita chamber thing if I load my saved and turn it off can I still get it?
  • Got the plat yesterday after getting this one. Use the enrage plasmid and take your time. Get past Neptune's Bounty and the rest isn't so bad. Spam the camera early.
  • I'm planning on playing on 'Survivor' difficulty for my first playthrough of the game, is that a good idea or should I go with 'Hard' (without the Vita Chambers) first?
  • I just finished survivor difficulty. My advice: -Save every little sister, you'll get the hypnotize big daddy plasmid and its upgrade. -Hypnotize a BD and have him fight another one by attacking him. If your BD is losing the fight, help him by shooting the other one. Don't worry, he will focus on your BD. Once he's dead and the plasmid effect has vanished, wait and the dead BD will reappear. Have him fight back the previous BD: he hasn't recovered his entire health. Or if his health is very low, you can finish him. I killed almost every BD this way. -Save, save, save. Saves are unlimited so use and abuse. -Hack everything you can, turrets and cams are very helpful.
  • Soooooo Haaaaaard
  • Lives up to its name.
  • just follow the tips mentioned in the comment section and you should be all-good. if I did it, you can probably do it, because I really suck at FPS campaigns.
  • The very first splicer almost killed me...
  • Trust me guys it's not that hard. Hypnotise big daddy's to fight for you and research as much as possible. I did this and saved all little sisters at the same time.
  • Will this one unlock three at a time? I Choose the Impossible, A Man Chooses and Brass Balls? Since I beat it already on hard, but not without using the Vita Chambers.
  • Just playing this at the moment, am at Fort Frolic. As long as you don't get into fights you can't win, get tonics, photos and power to the peoples, it's doable. I've only died maybe 5-10 times, and as usual feeling more powerful at this stage of the game. I wouldn't recommend it your first run through, though, you'll want to know your way around. Strategy wise I was mr stealthy at the start, grabbed everything I needed and ran away a lot. Even the weakest splicer's a tank at this stage. Get to the camera asap. Don't take on Big Daddies until you have a chance - I only got one in NB but he was missing half his health already. I left the first one and didn't do the Arcadia ones until I got back from FM. I'll probably go and get the ones I missed fairly soon. Plasmids - electro bolt, t
  • ..elekinesis (very useful), security bullseye (useful for Big Daddies, hack a turret and a camera and you're laughing) and HBD (be careful not to shoot him). Up to you really but I'd recommend the first three. Tonics - Wrench Jockey and Armored Shell are must haves, get those at the MP. Hacker's Delight is useful for the first few stages. I've also used SportsBoost, Natural Camouflage, and a few hacking ones (the slow flow one is great). Upgrades - I've upgraded weapon power in order of usage: shotgun, machine gun, grenade launcher, crossbow. You'll want the upgrades to be useful asap to make the earlier stages easier.
  • If you really wanna cheese it. As soon as you beat Atlas, change the difficulty to survivor via the pause menu. I sped ran on easy, never died so I never used a vita chamber, changed difficulty last second and got all hard and survivor related trophies including no vita chambers.
  • To anyone wondering, the glitch still hasn't been patched. You can also die just make sure the vita chambers are off.
  • Well I have all trophies apart from no vita chambers so I have started a new game plus and carried through all weapons and plasmids ect set difficulty to surviver and turned chambers off hopeing this will work rather than a new game with bugger all any one tired this way if not I shall let peeps kno if it works
  • For anyone too afraid of this one, don't be. New Game Plus carries over all of your previously acquired stuff making this objective really a cinch to complete (on PS4, BioShock: The Collection, at least; dunno about other versions of the game). After you beat the game on whatever difficulty you want, just start New Game > New Game Plus > use the save data from the game you just finished, then make sure you check Survivor difficulty and turn on "Disable Vita Chambers". Then beat the game — without using vita chambers, of course (just save a lot, it has the same effect) — and you've got the trophy. You can also go ahead and finish getting whatever collectibles you missed on the first play (I'm assuming, at least, as I had all the audio diaries except for the ones on the first level, and as s
  • This game got easier as soon as i got the hypnotise big daddy plasma I think i died more times on the 1st level than the rest
  • I came back to Bioshock after so many years just to complete this one. Here are my tips: 1) Vita chambers are totally useless if you are used to save often. I've NEVER used them. 2) Strategy throughout the game is the same as other comments. Be patient, research a lot, SAVEEEE, and leave the big daddies alone. Just kill a few so you get enough ADAM for the basic plasmids (ElectroBolt and Enrage were my favs). 3) For the final battle I found a really cool strategy: - Use the trap bolts! specially in the edge corridors. Fontaine will run into them almost always. - Hack the security bot in round 2. Fontaine will focus on it, not you. - Enrage the splicers in round 3 and let them kill each other. - The rest is just grenades and a little bit of shooting. Not only this strategy is effe
  • For anyone who is trying to get this via the difficulty glitch on PS3, here's what you need:
    You NEED the U.S version
Don't install the latest version, because the glitch was patched out in that version (1.10). Just play on version 1.00.
