Overview:

Introduction:

Battlefield 1 is the latest battlefield game from developer DICE and is set in WW1. You will be introduced to six single player war stories depicting the lives of different people during the war. The multiplayer is based on WW1 aspects of the games so there won't be a lot of the weapons and gadgets that you're familiar with from previous battlefields. There is also a new game mode in the game which is called Operations that's worth a try and required for one of the trophies.

Codex Glitch Warning

The codex "German Anti-Tank Tactics" for Destroying all field guns in Over the Top:

This may not unlock for a lot of people. To try and get in to unlock after you have gotten to the end of the mission when you destroyed the last two field guns over the bridge if the codex doesn't unlock turn back around and try and look for any field guns that have not been destroyed as you may have missed one. There is another case where a certain field gun just wont appear in the game. You may have to keep restarting the checkpoint/mission in order for it to spawn in. If both of these solutions do not work then the only way to try and obtain this codex is to just keep replaying the mission over and over until you can finally get the codex to unlock.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Finish the game on Easy difficulty:

You can start your first playthrough on hard as it is unlocked right away. It would be better to start on easy however as some of the challenges and collectibles may be difficult for people to do on harder difficulties

During this playthrough you will be focusing on getting used to the game and preparing yourself for the hard difficulty. While playing on this difficulty you will be going for the collectible trophies, challenge related trophies, and all the other miscellaneous trophies in the single player campaign.

There are a total of 53 Challenges in the campaign. The challenges are related to the codex entries that you have to do in each mission. The challenges range from completing certain objectives during a mission, doing certain tasks such as killing enemies with certain weapons or in certain ways in a mission, collecting all of the field manuals in a mission, and completing each of the six War Stories.

Refer to the trophies Taking Down Giants, All men dream, Sound of thunder, Conquering the mountains, & The hills of Gallipoli for a description of what each mission’s challenges entail. Refer to the trophy Enough for a library for the locations of all the field manuals as you will need to find them all in order to complete the collectible challenges in each mission.

After this step, you should have the following trophies:

Friends in High Places
Nothing is Written
Through Mud and Blood
Avanti Savoia!
The Runner
Taking down giants
All men dream
Sound of thunder
Conquering the mountains
The hills of Gallipoli
Up close and personal
Mightier than the shovel
Shock Wave
Triple Boluk-Bashi
Catching up on some reading
Enough for a library
Up to the challenge
Putting in the effort
Master of adaptation

Step 2: Finish the game on Hard difficulty:

This playthrough is optional as you can do everything in one playthrough by just starting the game on hard.

During this step you will be playing through the campaign on the hard difficulty. You can start any one of the War Stories and play them in any order that you like on hard. Make sure that your difficulty settings are set to hard though as it has a tendency to change sometimes between the different difficulties. You will know that you are playing on hard difficulty if the word hard has a white border around them. Refer to the trophy The War to End All Wars for more information on how to get through hard difficulty.

After this step, you should have the following trophies:

The Great War
The War to End All Wars

Step 3: Multiplayer:

During this step you will be going for your last 10 trophies. You may first want to start playing the game mode Operations which consists of 2 – 3 maps and quite a few objectives that you will need to go through. While playing the operations game mode you should play as the scout class and look for other enemy scouts which can be spotted by a glint coming from an area of the map, or you can spot players until you see one with a scout symbol over their head. After you eventually win operations mode you should have the trophy Operations, and Counter-sniper.

Next you will want to go and play the Conquest game mode. While playing this game mode you will be focusing on the other 8 multiplayer trophies which are for getting every class to rank 2, having all 4 classes at least rank 1 or more, reaching rank 10, earning 450 warbonds and completing 25 squad orders.

After this step you should have the following trophies:

Operations
Counter-sniper
Play the Objective
Warbonds
Corporal
Assault Enlistment
Medic Enlistment
Scout Enlistment
Support Enlistment
Decorated

After getting all of the trophies, you will earn: World War One Hero

INTRODUCTION

This is the first of four planned MP DLC expansions for Battlefield 1. This French themed expansion adds four new multiplayer maps. Here they are explained by Dice:

  • Verdun Heights: The opening barrage of the Battle of Verdun created massive forest fires in which players will fight for domination. This is an uphill battle towards the massive fortresses of Verdun. A constant grinding struggle where the artillery never stops.

  • Fort Vaux: The first big engagement inside a fort during World War 1 takes place in the dark underworld of Fort de Vaux. Down in the maze of dark galleries and wet stone corridors, French and Germans fight ferociously with grenades, guns, bayonets, and flamethrowers.

  • Soissons: Take part in one of the biggest tank assaults of World War 1. The French 10th Army moves to take back Soissons using their powerful Saint Chamond tanks. Planes, tanks, and infantry clash in the beautiful French countryside in the early hours of a hot summer day.

  • Rupture: In dire need to capture key bridges across the Aisne river, the French find themselves back into battlefields where poppies grow over a rusty wreck from previous tank battles. It might seem calm but this maze of steel beasts provides an excellent place for those who plan an ambush. As the sun sets over Fontenoy, the battle wakes up.

These are playable across the game’s various play modes.

They Shall Not Pass also adds the French army, as well as a new mode called Frontlines. This is a mix of Conquest and Rush. In phase one, both teams fight for one flag at a time and when this objective is captured the action moves on to the next phase. In phase two, you must capture the enemy's HQ control point and the game turns into a Rush-style section where telegraph posts need to be attacked or defended.

In terms of vehicles, They Shall Not Pass adds the Char 2C tank, which is based on a real tank. It is a new behemoth-class vehicle that you get when your side is losing and can help turn the tide of war.

Another tank, the St. Chamond, is added with the expansion as well. A new Elite class called Trench Raider comes to the game. It is a melee-focused class, the Elite Trench Raider uses a "Raider Club" and has access to an "impressive grenade arsenal." A new stationary field gun, the Siege Howitzer, (which can be fired by any infantry player) is also new to the game.

WALKTHROUGH

Step 1: Play French Operations as a French Medic

You will want to go to the Operations menu and play the French Operations located at the top portion of the map. If you happen to be on the German side, you can go into the squads menu and choose to switch sides and become French. You will then need to play for 30 minutes as a French Medic.

While playing as a French Medic you may want to look at the gun challenges and equip a gun that makes progress towards unlocking one of the primary guns associated with the Maître d'Armes trophy.

I would also try to get in the assault tank, known as the St. Chamond. You will need to get 25 kills in the tank. It’s easier to get kills as the driver.

Lastly, always be on the look-out for the new Trench Raider Elite Class pick-up as you’ll need 4 kills with this pick-up. After this step you will earn:

 French War Hero
 Drei Vier Grenadier
 Saint Chamond Operator

Step 2: Continue to play French Operations and select various classes to get your remaining gun kills and finish off the tank or Elite Class kills if not already done.

You will want to look at the gun challenges and equip a gun that makes progress towards unlocking one of the primary guns associated with the Maître d'Armes trophy. Each class (medic, assault, support, scout) has two primary guns associated with it, making a total of 8 primary guns, but you only need 1 kill with 5 unique primary guns for the trophy. Keep in mind that if you kill someone who was carrying a primary gun, then you can pick it up off their dead body and use it. This will count towards the trophy and you can eliminate having to complete the challenges to unlock the gun for yourself. After this step you will earn:

 Maître d'Armes

Introduction:

This is the second expansion pack for Battlefield 1. The expansion features the Russian Empire as a playable faction on the Eastern front of World War I during the cold Russian winters. Additionally the Red Army is featured as a playable faction against the Russian Empire during the Russian Civil War. It also introduces playable female soldiers in the form of the Scout class for the Russian Army.

Apart from all this, the expansion also features:

  • 2 new Operations
  • 6 new maps
  • Supply Drop game mode
  • New weapons, gadgets and vehicles
  • New medals
  • New codex entries
  • Class specializations

Compared to the first DLC, the trophies will require a fair amount of work this time around (if you decide to unlock all the weapons yourself).
They are all relatively easy however, including Filled the Stockpile which is simply time consuming.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Check the new weapon assignments and equip corresponding loadouts for all classes

The first thing you should do, is to simply have a look at all the new weapon assignments. Then switch loadouts for each class so that you'll start unlocking the new weapons as soon as you start playing.

Also keep in mind that you need to get 25 kills with the cavalry lance and you should start working on this as soon as possible. This weapon is not equipped by default however. To change this, select the horse on the respawn screen (when available), press until you reach the sword, then press to select the lance and press to confirm.

Step 2: Play the two new operations

Next you will want to head to operations and look for the two new operations called "Brusilov Offensive" and "Red Tide". These will be located towards the right side of the operations map and thus might not be visible until you move the cursor.

These new operations will take place on the new maps, but the objective is the same as before. Each operation takes place across two maps and you will either be assigned as part of the defending team or the attacking team.

If you are part of the defending team, you will need to prevent the attacking team from conquering the map. The attackers will get a total of 3 battalions to do this. Each battalion equals 250 soldier tickets for the 64-player mode, and 200 tickets for 40-player matches.

If you are part of the attacking team, you will need to capture and hold several control points at the same time in order to take over sectors on the map. Once you've reached the very last sector, you will need to place bombs. If these detonate you will have conquered the map.

After this step you will earn:

The Revolution is Coming

Step 3: Win 5 games of Supply Drop

Supply Drop is the new game mode that was introduced with the expansion. It's a 24-player game mode where teams compete for control over supply drops that are periodically airdropped into the battlefield. Players must collect the supplies by staying inside the drop's capture radius. The first team to collect 500 supplies wins the match. Once a supply drop has been depleted it will also grant a bonus (e.g.: an elite kit).

After this step you will earn:

Secured the Resources

Step 4: Play a round on each new DLC map

If you haven't managed to earn this trophy yet by completing the previous steps, you can choose to get it out of the way. It does come naturally as you work on the other trophies, thus this step can be skipped if necessary.

Assuming you joined both operations while still on the first map, you will already have played on 4 out of 6 DLC maps. The only two maps which are not being used in the new operations are Albion and ?upków Pass.

If you need a specific map for this trophy, then you can always use the server browser to find it. To do this, go to the server browser in the multiplayer section and press . In the filter options, select 'Maps' and check the ones you want (the new DLC maps are at the bottom).

After this step you will earn:

Endured the Winter

Step 5: Get 25 kills with the Cavalry Lance

The Cavalry Lance is a new melee weapon you can use while on horseback. When first starting the new DLC, the sword will still be selected by default. To change this, select the horse on the respawn screen (when available), press until you reach the sword, then press to select the Lance and press to confirm.

Once you're in-game, look for enemy infantry and kill them using your new weapon. You can either choose to charge them using , which is similar to a bayonet charge while on foot or you can simply stab with your Lance using .

After this step you will earn:

Charged into Battle

Step 6: Continue unlocking all new weapons and get one kill with each of them

See Filled the Stockpile for a full list of all the weapon assignments. Now switch loadouts for each class so that you can make progress on these assignments and continue playing multiplayer matches until you've unlocked all new weapons (and remember to get a kill with each of them).

There's a total of 19 weapons you will need unlock and/or get a kill with. 4 for each class (16 total), 2 handguns and 1 pilot/tanker weapon.
The new grenade and melee weapon are not required for this trophy, even though they appear in the trophy image.

Keep in mind that you can also pick up these new weapons on the battlefield when dropped by other players. If you manage to pick one up and get a kill with it, it will count towards the trophy and you won't have to unlock it yourself anymore.

After this step you will earn:

Filled the Stockpile

Turning Tides DLC:

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (Personal Estimate)
  • Offline trophies: 0
  • Online trophies: 5 (4 , 1 )
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 3 - 25+ hours (depending on whether you’re boosting, or skill if not)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: Several multiplayer matches
  • Number of missable trophies: None
  • Glitched trophies: None
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: N/A
  • Do trophies stack?: No
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: N/A
  • Additional peripherals required?: No

Turning Tides is the third of four planned multiplayer expansion packs for Battlefield 1. This pack has a focus on the amphibious battles of the Great War, and the trophies have a bit of a naval theme as a result. There have been multiple additions to the multiplayer this time around that were released between December 2017 - January 2018, including:

  • 4 new maps (Cape Helles, Achi Baba, Heligoland Bight, Zeebrugge)
  • 6 new weapons (M1917 Trench Carbine, Maschinenpistole M1912/P.16, Farquhar-Hill, M1917 MG, Carcano M91 Carbine, Type 38 Arisaka)
  • 2 new melee weapons (Naval Cutlass, Grappling Hook)
  • 1 new faction (British Royal Marines)
  • 1 new Elite Class (The Infiltrator)
  • 1 new Operation (Gallipoli)
  • 2 new vehicles (L-Class Destroyer, C-Class Airship)

Trophy wise, there are 5 to obtain for the Turning Tides 100%, the majority of which will come with just using some of the new features and maps and varying your play style a little bit to unlock the new weapons. One trophy is for getting a roadkill with a Sea Vehicle, which can be a bit fiddly. Anything that you are finding too tough can be boosted with ease; more on that in a moment.

BOOSTING NOTE: With a recent patch came the ability to start ‘competitive’ multiplayer matches with only one person. While this can be useful for some of the trophies, it’s even better with 2 people, as it enables any awkward multiplayer trophy (from this or any of the other Battlefield 1 DLCs) to be boosted with ease.

To take advantage of this, simply head over to Multiplayer tab > Server Browser and use to filter the option for “Disable Pre-Round” to ON. This option means that rounds will begin without the need for 6 players to ready up, and you can play in a match on your own/with boosting partners with the ability to still earn points, kills, flag captures and whatever else you might want to unlock this way.

If no servers show up using this search, it means that nobody will have rented and set up a server using these settings, in which case you can always rent one yourself. A basic 24-hour rental costs £1.19/US$1.99 or you can pay more for a longer duration, and it works well because you can tweak the maps and even enable 200% damage amongst other things to speed up and cater to you boosting needs. The only thing you need to remember is to not apply a password as this turns it into a private match where nothing will count. It’s incredibly rare you’d get a random joining, and if you do, the admin can kick and ban them easily.

Step 1: Check the new weapon assignments and adjust your class loadouts

This step is simply preparation in advance to maximise your time working towards Naval Weapons Collection . Go to the description and note which weapons you might need to buy with your warbonds, and customise your soldier to ensure you are ready to work on unlocking the 9 required weapons for that trophy.

The other thing to note is that you need to complete a Service Assignment for Serve With Honor so make sure to look at those while in the Soldier tab and see what you are close to unlocking, or what looks the easiest to unlock. This will vary depending on how much you worked on them since the beginning of your time with the game - you may be 80% of the way there on a few simply by accident. Make a mental note of what you need to do for this trophy.

Step 2: Complete the new Gallipoli Operation

The first thing to do is to fire up Multiplayer and choose the Gallipoli Operation on the right hand side of the map. It doesn’t matter which stage you jump in here - you can play from the very beginning or the last 5 seconds - once the Operation is completed, win or lose you will get your first trophy:

Become Operational

Step 3: Continue playing the new maps, using Sea Vehicles where you can

This step is mainly directed at obtaining the required 15 kills using the L-Class Destroyer, as well as getting a roadkill with a Sea Vehicle. While the L-Class Destroyer kills will come naturally, the boat roadkill can be either be very annoying or obtained easily when actually going for it, it’s largely down to luck and where the opposite team position themselves. Otherwise, these 2 trophies are easily boostable, and you’ll get them after this step:

Rough Seas
The Power in These Waters

Step 4: Play your favourite game modes to work on weapon assignments

For this step you need to keep working on the weapon assignments, varying your play style, class and game mode where necessary. Most will require kills with certain weapons, whereas others will require damaging vehicles, obtaining multi kills and completing squad orders or reviving teammates. Whatever is it you have left, knock the last remaining criteria out now. This includes working on a Service Assignment if you haven’t already completed one naturally. After this step you’ll have:

Serve With Honor
Naval Weapons Collection

And finally, 100% in this DLC!

Apocalypse DLC:

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 3/10 (Personal Estimate)
  • Offline trophies: 0
  • Online trophies: 5 (4 , 1 )
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2 - 20+ hours (depending on whether you’re boosting, or skill if not)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: Several multiplayer matches
  • Number of missable trophies: None
  • Glitched trophies: None
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: N/A
  • Do trophies stack?: No
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: N/A
  • Additional peripherals required?: No

Apocalypse is the last of four planned multiplayer expansion packs for Battlefield 1. This pack has a focus on the more brutal and climactic battles of the Great War. There have been multiple additions to the multiplayer for this final pack, including:

  • 3 new maps (Passchendaele, Caporetto, River Somme)
  • 2 new aerial combat maps (Razor’s Edge, London Calling)
  • 6 new weapons (RSC SMG, Howell Automatic, IMG 08/18, Ross MkIII, M1917 Enfield, Revolver Mk VI)
  • 3 new melee weapons (Broken Bottle, Meat Cleaver, Prybar)
  • 1 new Assault gadget (AA Rocket Gun)
  • 1 new game mode (Air Assault)
  • 1 new stationary weapon (Livens Projector)
  • 2 new aircraft (Hansa Brandenburg GI, Airco DH10)

Trophy wise, there are 5 to obtain for the Apocalypse 100%, the majority of which will come with just using some of the new features and maps and varying your play style a little bit to unlock the new weapons. Anything that you are finding too tough can be boosted with ease; more on that in a moment.

BOOSTING NOTE: With a recent patch came the ability to start ‘competitive’ multiplayer matches with only one person. It’s incredibly rare you’d get a random joining, and if you do, the admin can kick and ban them easily.

Step 1: Check the new weapon assignments and adjust your class loadouts

This step is simply preparation in advance to maximise your time working towards Weapons of the Apocalypse . Go to the description and note which weapons you might need to buy with your warbonds, and customise your soldier to ensure you are ready to work on unlocking the 10 required weapons for that trophy.

Step 2: Play Air Assault on London Calling: Scourge/Raiders

The first thing to do is head over to the Multiplayer tab and play the new Air Assault mode to get the easiest trophy out of the way on the mode you’ll need to play the least (where trophies are concerned). All you need are 5 kills while in the Behemoth Airship L30, which come very quickly and easily.

After this step, you’ll have:

Flyswatter

Step 3: Continue playing the new maps, looking out for Livens Projectors and Wine Bottles

For the next part you’ll want to play solely on the new maps, using the new stationary weapon, the Livens Projector, until you get a kill with it, as well as looking out for the Wine Bottles dotted across the new maps in order the unlock the Broken Bottle to get a kill with that. It would also be beneficial at this stage to keep an eye out for any Flametrooper Elite soldiers and do your best to melee them, but that can be done on any map where the Flametrooper becomes available so don’t worry too much at this stage. All 3 of the above miscellaneous trophies are easily boosted too.

Once completed, you’ll have the following trophies:

Advanced Studies
Modern Technology

Step 4: Play your favourite game modes to work on weapon assignments and melee kill a Flametrooper

For this step you need to keep working on the weapon assignments, varying your play style, class and game mode where necessary. Most will require kills with certain weapons or classes, whereas others will require damaging vehicles, healing and resupplying teammates, or in the case of the snipers, accumulating headshots. Whatever is it you have left, knock the last remaining criteria out now.

Remember to attempt a melee kill on any Flametrooper that you see.

After this step you’ll have:

Firefighter
Weapons of the Apocalypse

And finally, 100% in this DLC!

Battlefield 1 Trophy Guide

Printable Guide
Show completed trophies
Show secret trophies

51 trophies ( 10  31  )

  • Obtain all trophies

This trophy will unlock once you’ve acquired all other trophies in the game.

  • Win 1 Operation in multiplayer

Operations is a new game mode introduced to the battlefield series. During this mode you will attack or defend several battle fronts. In order to get this, you will either, as an attacker, have to fully push through all of the defender’s positions and win or, as a defender, stop the attackers from fully capturing all of the objectives on the map.

As an attacker you will have three chances to take all of the defenders positions. Your team will have 150 tickets to start off with. These tickets will start to deplete as your team dies, so you will want to try to play as a team to win as these tickets can drain rather quickly. If your team happens to lose all of their tickets then you will have 2 more chances to take all the defenders positions. During your second and third chances though your team will be given an airship at the start in order to help you advance through the defenders positions. The airship will stay on the map until it is destroyed which actually gives the attackers the upper hand in the second and third rounds if they can utilize the airship properly.

As a defender you will have to stop the attackers from taking your objectives during three different attempts. During each set of objectives all you need to do is hold at least one of them in order to drain the attackers tickets in order to stop them from advancing. During the second and third attempts this can be harder as the airship that the attackers will get can wipe out your team if the objectives are located outside.

  • Using a bolt action rifle, kill an enemy Scout in multiplayer

To get this trophy you need to start a multiplayer game and pick the scout class. If you haven’t played multiplayer yet then your primary weapon should already be a bolt action rifle. There is usually a decent amount of scout players in the game but if you can’t find one then look around the area and if you see a glint coming from afar then a scout player is sniping from that area. All you need to do is go and find the player and kill them, or you can just walk along the outskirts of the map where you should be able to find a scout player sniping. All you need to do is kill that scout player with the bolt action rifle in order to get this trophy.

  • Complete 25 Squad Orders in multiplayer

An easy way to do this trophy is to be the leader of the squad. You can easily do this be making your own squad and doing things like tagging objectives. While you're squad leader you need to hold on an objective marker and it issues a squad order to attack or defend it. Once the objective is tagged all you need to do is go to it and either capture the objective or defend it depending on if you’re either attacking or defending the point. You don’t need anyone else in your squad in order to get this trophy. Do this 25 times and you will get the trophy.

  • Earn 450 Warbonds in multiplayer

You obtain warbonds when you rank up in multiplayer. You will obtain it by ranking up your character, or one of your classes and you should obtain it by the time you reach rank 6.

  • Reach Rank 10 in multiplayer

When going for this trophy I would suggest playing the conquest game mode as it is the longest so it will get you more points. It won’t take you long in order to reach rank 10 in multiplayer as the first few rank ups will be achieved with just a few flag captures.

The best, and fastest way to rank up to rank 10 is to use the medic class as you will get points for reviving your teammates and healing them. You’ll have teammates dying all over the place as players like to run head first towards objectives and die. You will need to get to them quickly as a lot of players tend to skip the revive which will give you about 2-3 seconds to get to them and revive. When you’re in a big group of teammates or even around just a few and there is a firefight going on you should drop a med kit as you’ll gain XP as they constantly get damaged and your medkit heals them. While doing that you can also have your syringe out just in case one of them dies.

Another way to gain XP fast is to capture and defend objectives that are marked by your squad leader. An easier way to do this is to create your own squad so that you are the squad leader as other players tend not to mark objectives. While you are the squad leader you will need to mark objectives and accomplish that objective for increased points.

By playing with these tips in mind you should be rank 10 within 20 or less matches.

  • Reach Assault Rank 2 in multiplayer

In order to get this trophy, you will need to acquire 100,000 points (50,000 per rank) while playing as the assault class. This class is best suited for taking out vehicles. So the best way to earn more points while playing as this class is to go for any vehicles in your vicinity and take them out. You will get a lot of points for disabling it, and destroying it especially if there are still enemy players in it once you’ve destroyed it.

You should also make your own squad so that you can be the squad leader. While you are the squad leader you will need to mark objectives and accomplish them for increased points.

Doing this should rank you up to rank 2 to within 4 – 8 matches if you’re playing the objective.

  • Reach Medic Rank 2 in multiplayer

In order to get this trophy, you will need to acquire 90,000 points (45,000 per rank) while playing as the medic class. To rank up faster with the medic class you are going to want to revive and heal players as much as you can. There will always be people dying and constantly getting hurt so you just need to pay attention to your surroundings in order to find them.

You should also make your own squad so that you can be the squad leader. While you are the squad leader you will need to mark objectives and accomplish them for increased points.

Doing this should rank you up to rank 2 within 4 – 8 matches if you’re playing the objective.

  • Reach Scout Rank 2 in multiplayer

In order to get this trophy, you will need to acquire 60,000 points (30,000 per rank) while playing as the scout class. While playing with this class you will want to play the objective instead of sniping far from the action to get more points per round. Because of this you may want to unlock one of the stronger pistols and use that to get kills, as the bolt action rifles won’t 1 hit kill plus you will have to reload after every shot which, by the time you reload the gun may mean you are already dead.

You should also make your own squad so that you can be the squad leader. While you are the squad leader you will need to mark objectives and accomplish them for increased points.

Doing this should rank you up to rank 2 within 4 – 8 matches if you’re playing the objective.

  • Reach Support Rank 2 in multiplayer

In order to get this trophy, you will need to acquire 100,000 points (50,000 per rank) while playing as the support class. While playing with this class you are going to want to throw ammo down anywhere you go, especially if there are a lot of teammates in the area. You will get points while your team is being resupplied so the more ammo boxes you throw down the more XP you will gain.

You should also make your own squad so that you can be the squad leader. While you are the squad leader you will need to mark objectives and accomplish them for increased points.

Doing this should rank you up to rank 2 within 4 – 8 matches if you’re playing the objective.

  • Reach Rank 1 with all 4 Infantry classes in multiplayer

Refer to the trophies Assault Enlistment, Medic Enlistment, Scout Enlistment, & Support Enlistment for more information on leveling up each class quicker.

    • Medic – 45,000 points needed for rank 1
    • Support – 50,000 points needed for rank 1

  • Perform a melee kill on 10 enemies anywhere in the campaign

This should come naturally while playing through the campaign. All you need to do in order to get this is run up to 10 enemies and press the  button in order to initiate a melee kill. It is recommended you do this during your easy playthrough of the campaign in order to make it easier for yourself.

  • Find the hidden Cavalry Sword and take down an enemy on the French countryside in the campaign

War Story 1: Through Mud and Blood

    Mission 3: Breakdown

During the mission breakdown, once you start the mission follow the road straight down into the village. Once you get into the village the cavalry sword will be in the second house on the left, on the bottom floor. This house has a second floor to it with a machine gun mounted up top and you will see an enemy walking upstairs as well. Once you pick the sword up go upstairs and kill the enemy with it in order to earn this trophy.

  • Kill 5 enemies by using dynamite in the campaign

While playing through the campaign you will see green crates laying around different areas of the map. There are three different sized green crates which are small, medium and large. The medium sized crates are the ones that are going to hold things like dynamite. Once you open one of these crates and find dynamite in it all you need to do is equip it, throw it near enemies and kill them with it. You only get three dynamite at a time. So if you don’t find groups of enemies to kill then you will need to find a second crate of dynamite in order to get this trophy.

  • Kill all 3 Ottoman officers in Young Men's Work with melee kills in the campaign

There is an Ottoman officer in each of the three locations in Young Men’s Work. These locations are the Village, Weapons Depot, and Ruins. You can either do this quietly, or just run in and melee kill them. The officers are wearing a black uniform. Two of them are in buildings and the one in the ruins is located in a tent.

  • Complete the campaign on Normal difficulty

Refer to The War to End All Wars for more information.

  • Complete the campaign on Hard difficulty

This games hard difficulty isn’t really that hard besides certain parts in the game. During your hard playthrough you will want to try and get through areas where you are on foot silently so that you can avoid combat as much as possible. If you have to initiate combat then you will need to use cover as much as you can as during certain parts of the game there will be a bunch of enemies that will come towards you at once which, if you’re not careful, will result in you dying easily.

Playing in the tanks can be a little bit trickier as when you take damage you will take a considerable more amount of damage. There are certain tanks in the game that will kill you in three shots.

During Steel on Steel you will be in combat the whole time. You will want to destroy the field guns as quickly as possible as it will take them less shots in order to blow up your tank. There will be two major tank battles during this chapter and one light tank as well. The first tank battle will happen when capping flag C, a tank will come down the road in front of you. Before it comes down the road aim at that area and start shooting it as soon as you see it to weaken it as much as possible before it starts to shoot at you. The second tank battle will be with a light tank that will attack you while you're destroying the second set of artillery. It should take you 3 – 4 well placed shots in order to blow it up. The final tank is at the end of the mission near the bridge. While going for this tank try to stay as far from it as you can and constantly move around as you have no cover from this tank. If it manages to damage you a lot then by this point you will be able to leave the tank and repair it from the outside which is faster than doing it from the inside.

The next time you’re in a tank will be on the mission Steel on Steel. During this mission you can avoid the beginning fight. From the start turn left and hug the barrier all the way out of the village. Doing this should make no tanks spot you. During the second part you will want to destroy the two field guns in that area and clear out all the enemies as they will be hurling explosives at you constantly. There will be three waves of tanks that will come at you during this second part. During this you will want to take out the light tanks first as there are more of them and they can get shots off quicker, also you can take them out faster than the other tanks. After you destroy the light tanks that are in each wave you will want to focus on the bigger ones. You will want to hit these tanks on their sides and backs as much as possible in order to finish them off quickly. If you need to repair your tank then repair from outside as it is faster.

During the missions when you’re in a plane the best thing to do is to take out the objectives as quickly as possible. There will be a lot of enemy planes trying to take you down so you will want get through the missions quickly in order not to have to deal with them since they’re more determined in hard mode to come after you and destroy you. During the blimp part in Forte Et Fidele you will want to focus on one blimp and use both your rockets and guns to take one of them out as quickly as possible. Once one of the blimps is destroyed then the game will continue on to the next checkpoint.

(After you've beaten Nothing is Written another area will open on the map called Remember us. You will need to watch this in order to obtain your trophies for beating the single player campaign.)

DLC: They Shall Not Pass

4 trophies

  • Spend 30 minutes in-game as French Republic Medic

Select the Operations game mode and select the new French Operations. The Operations game mode combines many battles into one game giving you longer to play. If you happen to get put on the German side of the war be sure to go into your squad menu and choose to switch sides and become French. Furthermore, make sure you select to play as a Medic and then continue to play until you earn the trophy.

  • Kill 4 enemies with the Trench Raider Elite Class

Select the Operations game mode and select the new French Operations. The Operations game mode combines many battles into one game giving you longer to play. If you happen to get put on the German side of the war be sure to go into your squad menu and choose to switch sides and become French. Continue playing until you hear that there is a new Trench Raider pick-up available nearby. Look over the battlefield and you’ll see a symbol that looks like the Drei Vier Grenadier trophy icon. Run to it and press . You will become the Trench Raider Elite Class soldier. His melee is a powerful one hit kill with a quick swing animation. This will allow you to take out multiple enemies at a time even with only a melee weapon. Once you get 4 kills as this Elite Class soldier you will earn the trophy.

  • Kill 25 enemies with the St Chamond Heavy Tank

I personally found this to be made easier by going to the Operations game mode and selecting the new French Operations. The Operations game mode combines many battles into one game giving you longer to play. If you happen to get put on the German side of the war be sure to go into your squad menu and choose to switch sides and become French because they are on offense and have a lot more tanks vs the defending German forces.

However, if Operations is not your favorite game mode, know that you can do it in Conquest as well on any map (not only the DLC maps) and on every side (French, German, British, Ottoman, etc.), they all have access to the St. Chamond if you own the DLC.

At various times you can spawn into someone else’s tank or select to be a tank driver by highlighting your respawn circle over a tank. If you can select a tank for yourself, then choose the assault tank to get the St Chamond. You can also run up to the St Chamond tank (that's already on the battlefield) and press to enter it. Kills as the gunner or the driver both count towards this trophy however, it is far easier to get kills as the driver as you will have explosive rounds and control of the tank's movement. Once you get a total of 25 kills in the St Chamond Heavy Tank, the trophy will pop.

    1. Ribeyrolles 1918 factory.
    2. Lebel model 1886 (infantry or sniper).
    3. Chauchat (telescopic or low weight).
    4. RSC 1917 (factory or optical).
    5. Sjogren inertial factory.

There are 2 basic methods you could use to get this trophy, or a combination of both methods which is what I did.

    Method 1: Steal the Guns
Select the Operations game mode and select the new French Operations. The Operations game mode combines many battles into one game giving you longer to play and find some of these guns. When you kill someone on the battlefield pick up their gun. When you pick up the gun it will not tell you what it is. It will only say what class it is. However, when you kill someone with it, then it will tell you the name of the weapon you got a kill with. Try and find the Primary guns on dead bodies. To help you here is the list of guns broken down by their class:

    • Scout Class: ONE of the following
      • Lebel model 1886 infantry
      • Lebel model 1886 sniper
    • Support Class: ONE of the following
      • Chauchat telescopic
      • Chauchat low weight
    • Medic Class: ONE of the following
      • RSC 1917 factory
      • RSC 1917 optical
    • Asssault Class: BOTH of the following
      • Ribeyrolles 1918 factory
      • Sjogren inertial factory

    Method 2: Earn the Guns
Select the Operations game mode and select the new French Operations. The Operations game mode combines many battles into one game giving you longer to play and complete some of the gun challenges like getting 15 kills in one round. When you complete the two challenges associated with a gun, it then becomes available for you to equip in your own personal loadout. Now simply get one kill with your new gun and move on to the next challenge. To help you here is the list of guns and the challenges for each:

    • Ribeyrolles 1918 factory
      • 50 Automatico M1918 kills
      • 20 headshots with the MP18 optical
    • Lebel model 1886 infantry
      • 50 kills with the Gewehr M.95 infantry
      • 20 spot flare assists
    • Lebel model 1886 sniper
      • In a round perform 5 headshots with the Russian 1895 sniper
      • Perform 10 periscope spot assists
    • Chauchat telescopic
      • In a round perform 15 kills with the M1909 benet-merc telescopic
      • Perform 10 kills with the mortar
    • Chauchat low weight
      • 50 kills with the Levis gun suppressive
      • 75 resupplies
    • RSC 1917 factory
      • 50 kills with the M1907 SL sweeper
      • 50 revives
    • RSC 1917 optical
      • In a round, perform 15 kills with the autoloading 8.35 factory
      • Perform 75 heals
    • Sjogren inertial factory
      • 50 kills with the 10-A slug
      • In a round perform 15 kills with the M97 trench gun hunter

    How to Combine Both Methods
For example I was working on the Medic Gun (RSC 1917 opitical) but after I killed someone who had it, I picked it up and got a kill with it. I now stopped working on those challenges and moved to the next one. This happened quite often. I picked up guns I was in the middle of working on or hadn't started working on yet and got a kill with it. I then I stopped or never had to work on those set of challenges and moved on to the next one. In the end I picked up 5 different primary guns off of dead bodies, these included the:

    • Ribeyrolles 1918 factory (Assault )
    • Chauchat low weight (Support)
    • RSC 1917 factory (Medic)
    • Sjogren inertial factory (Assault)
    • RSC 1917 optical (Medic)

I got a kill with each of these even though I never earned them for my own personal inventory. I then finished off the challenge for:

    • Lebel model 1886 infantry (Scout)
      • 50 kills Gewehr M.95 infantry
      • 20 spot flare assists

After, finishing the 2 challenges above and dying, I went into "customize" menu before re-spawning. I then selected the new primary gun for my load out, got one kill, and earned the trophy.

You could earn the trophy without finishing any challenges. There were several times I picked up the Lebel model 1886, but I couldn't get a kill with it. Every time I picked it up, someone was there to kill me before I could use it.

Tip: You can use the in game stat counters, the companion app, or this site LINK to see your kill stats and keep track of number of kills for weapons, vehicles, ect.

Note: The "in a round" requirements for weapon assignments will reset every game. Therefore, it is recommended that you save those assignments (or challenges) to do after you've completed the other one, otherwise you'll need to do them again.

DLC: In the Name of the Tsar

5 trophies

  • Play all "In the Name of the Tsar" operations.

    There are two new operations:

    • Brusilov Offensive
    • Red Tide

These operations will be located towards the right side of the operations map and thus might not be visible until you move the cursor but they play like any previous operations. If you're part of the attacking team, you will need to push the frontline forward until you conquer the map and if you're part of the defending team you need to keep hold of it. Once you have finished both of these operations, regardless whether or not you joined mid-game, you will earn this trophy.

  • Kill 25 enemies with the Lance as Cavalry.

You can either choose to charge them using , which is similar to a Bayonet charge while on foot or you can simply stab with your Lance by using .

If done properly, the kill information will mention the Cavalry Lance:

  • Win 5 games of Supply Drop.

Supply Drop is the new game mode that was introduced with this expansion. It's a 24-player game mode where teams compete for control over supply drops that are periodically airdropped into the battlefield. Players must collect the supplies by staying inside the drop's capture radius. The first team to collect 500 supplies wins the match. After a supply drop has been depleted it will also grant a bonus e.g. an elite kit. Once you have won 5 games, regardless whether or not you joined mid-game, you will earn this trophy.

Note: If needed, you can try to switch teams to get on the winning side. To do this you will need to be on the respawn screen, then go to the squads screen using and finally pressing to switch. Note that this will not always work if the teams are full or unbalanced.

  • Play a round on all "In the Name of the Tsar" maps.

There are a total of six new maps in this expansion:

    • Albion
    • Brusilov Keep
    • Galicia
    • Lupków Pass
    • Tsaritsyn
    • Volga River

Once you have completed a round (in any game mode) on each of these maps, you will unlock the trophy.

Note that you will need to keep manual track of which maps you've played on, because there is no way to check this in-game (unless you managed to get a win and unlocked the appropriate codex). This trophy should come naturally as you collect the other trophies. Some maps might see less play though, especially over time. If you need a specific map for this trophy, then you can always use the server browser to find it. To do this go to the server browser in the multiplayer section and press . In the filter options, select 'Maps' and check the ones you want (the new DLC maps are at the bottom).

  • Perform a kill with all "In the Name of the Tsar" weapon variants.

Unlike the first DLC, you will need to get a kill with every weapon variant this time around. This includes:

    1. C93 Carbine
    2. Fedorov Avtomat Optical
    3. Fedorov Avtomat Trench
    4. General Liu Rifle Factory
    5. General Liu Rifle Storm
    6. Model 1900 Factory
    7. Model 1900 Slug
    8. Mosin-Nagant M91 Infantry
    9. Mosin-Nagant M91 Marksman
    10. Nagant Revolver
    11. Obrez Pistol
    12. Parabellum MG14/17 Low Weight
    13. Parabellum MG14/17 Suppressive
    14. Perino Model 1908 Defensive
    15. Perino Model 1908 Low Weight
    16. SMG 08/18 Factory
    17. SMG 08/18 Optical
    18. Vetterli-Vitali M1870/87 Carbine
    19. Vetterli-Vitali M1870/87 Infantry

Even though the trophy picture shows the grenade and dagger, you do not need to get a kill with these.

To achieve this you can use two different methods (or a combination of both). You can either pick them up when other players drop them during matches or you can unlock all the guns yourself. I recommend that you start working on unlocking the weapons yourself, but also pick up any weapons that look new while playing a match. If you manage to get a kill with one of the new weapons you can ignore it and continue working on unlocking the others.

Method 1: Pick up the weapons during matches

This is by far the easiest method, because it requires very little effort on your part. It does however require quite a bit of luck to keep finding the weapons you're missing.

Simply pick up random weapons you find on the battlefield and get a kill with them. There is no real way to know which weapon you've picked up until you get a kill with it, but you might recognize the new weapons based on their appearance.

You can also use the Battlefield 1: Trophy Boosting Thread to find people who might be willing to drop a specific weapon you still need.

    Method 2: Unlock the weapons

In order to unlock the weapons yourself, you will need to perform various assignments. Most of these are very straightforward, requiring you to get X amount of kills with a specific weapon or do some class-specific tasks.

One weapon assignment that might give you trouble is the Parabellum MG14/17 Low Weight. It requires you to shoot down two aircraft with an LMG. Below are some tips to help you with it:

    • It's a lot easier on hardcore servers.
    • Find a large open map where people use a lot of aircraft. (e.g.: Empire's Edge)
    • Find a quiet spot on that map away from the fighting and safe from sniper fire.
    • You can try to use AA guns to soften up your target first, then switch to your LMG for the killing blow.
    • Use the prone position to fire.
    • Shoot at every aircraft you see!
    • If it's not working, take a break.

For a full list of all weapon assignments, check below. Note: The assignments saying "In a round...", are not bugged this time around and will stay ticked once you meet the requirement.

DLC: Turning Tides

5 trophies

  • Perform a roadkill in a Sea Vehicle

This is the only real luck-based, semi-annoying trophy in this DLC if you are going for it legitimately. You need to be the driver of a Sea Vehicle and kill an enemy player by running them over with your boat. The trophy unlocks immediately after the kill.

When playing legitimately, I found the most reliable places to try for this were Fao Fortress from the base game and Albion from the ‘In the Name of the Tsar’ DLC. Fao Fortress has a shallow canal running through the middle of the map which is easily accessible from the open water and there are always players running across from A & B to C in Conquest and in Operations to the objectives in particular. Similarly, on Albion in Conquest, there are players moving between A & B to C with a canal to keep driving through. Remember to constantly tap to show the enemy players who may be slightly obscured.

The new maps are obviously the intended places to try and get this. Cape Helles is probably the best out of these DLC maps; playing on the British side you have almost immediate access to a beach and boats are normally readily available. Most of the time the beach has a few enemy players trying to take out the boats and if they are close enough to the water, they are the best targets. Heligoland Bight is the next best bet because it’s basically all islands and any soldier on foot is always near some water, the problem with this though is the map is very large making it difficult to find people, plus there is a lot of boat on boat warfare making it difficult to concentrate on this trophy alone.

THIS video shows how I did the trophy legitimately using the Fao Fortress map.

Of course, you can boost this trophy if required. Using the method in the roadmap, you can meet up in an empty server and have one player stand on the shore while the other runs him down, and have the trophy done in minutes.

  • Complete 1 Service Assignment

Service Assignments are a collection of various challenges with specific criteria that reward the player with XP for a specific class and ‘Specializations’ which are basically perks that apply to your soldier to help in battle. They can be found under the Soldier tab. Whether you have been completing these from before this DLC was released, or you are starting new, you will have to complete one of these Assignments to pop the trophy, it isn’t retroactive. Each update adds more assignments so there should always be something available to complete.

All you need to do is pick whichever looks the easiest or most doable from what you’ve already worked towards so far, and go into matches and do it. Most of the time they complement the weapon assignments well - for instance, one Service Assignment may require X amount of kills as Medic Class, which will work well with getting X amount of kills with a specific Medic weapon to unlock one of those. Either way, once you have completed a Service Assignment, you get a notification in game and the trophy will unlock immediately.

You can track one of the Service Assignments so it shows up between rounds and on the pause menu on the bottom right of the screen. This doesn’t mean it will be the only one to progress though - it is merely to aid you in tracking it without quitting matches. To track a Service Assignment, press on it whilst browsing them.

  • Complete the Gallipoli Operation

A very simple trophy to unlock; all you’ll need to do is head over to the Multiplayer tab and select Operations. When at the map screen, head over to the lower right where you’ll find Gallipoli. Jump into a game and complete it to unlock the trophy.

It doesn’t matter at which stage you enter the match, nor does it matter whether you win or lose. All you need to do is get to the final Victory/Defeat screen at the end. Use your time in the Operation to work towards some of the Weapon Assignments for Naval Weapons Collection - any Assignment that mentions ‘in a round’ is usually best done on Operations anyway because they are normally long matches, giving you plenty of time to get however many revives, kills, vehicle damages or whatever else you may need.

  • Kill 15 enemies with the L-Class Destroyer

The L-Class Destroyer is a new Sea Vehicle introduced with this DLC. It is available to both sides on Zeebrugge and Heligoland Bight, and to the British on Cape Helles. Simply play Conquest on these maps, spawn into the L-Class Destroyer and get 15 kills for this trophy. You can track your kills by heading to the Soldier tab and selecting ‘vehicles’, and from here scrolling over to the Destroyer.

The Destroyer has 2-3 gunner seats which I personally found to be the easiest to use against incoming boats, planes and ground infantry. If you spawn in as the driver, you will be the Tanker class and have access to a variety of weapons, including an artillery barrage.

A good tip is to scan the waters and horizon around the Destroyer with to quickly spot any approaching Torpedo Boats, and use these powerful weapons to quickly take them out from a distance. The guns can also make short work of any low-flying pilots that fly nearby. Just unleash whatever weapon you have access to on any enemies that you see and 15 kills will come in no time. The trophy unlocks in-game upon your 15th kill.

Although it’s not really necessary, this trophy is again boostable, should you want to. Start a match with your boosting partner on one of the aforementioned maps and have them capture a flag whilst you make your way over to it. Then have them stand on the shore whilst you take them out, then they can spawn at the flag and be quickly ready to be killed again.

Small tip - one of the Weapon Assignments for this DLC requires 3 multi-kills with the Scout class. Entering the L-Class Destroyer in one of the gunner seats as a Scout is a good way to get multi-kills since there are usually at least 2 players in a Torpedo Boat, so it’s a good chance to work towards that when trying for the L-Class Destroyer kills.

  • Perform a kill with all "Turning Tides" weapon variants

This is the most time-consuming trophy of the DLC, especially if you are working towards it legitimately by unlocking each gun. As per the previous DLCs, Turning Tides introduced a slew of new weapons and you’ll need a kill with each one to unlock this trophy. There are 9 weapons that require you to get at least one kill, and it doesn’t matter whether you unlock them yourself and get a kill, or use the weapon after picking it up from a dead soldier - any kill will count.

I would recommend working on unlocking each weapon but also keep an eye out on the ground when you come across dropped weapons. Also, note the player's name when you happen to get killed by a weapon you need - if you can kill him later on, he might well be still carrying that weapon so you can quickly pick it up and try. Everything is trackable in the Soldier tab, under 'Weapons & Gadgets'. That includes checking progress on the Assignments you are working towards, and also whether or not you have a kill with each of the 9 weapons.

Most of the Weapon Assignments are pretty straightforward, with one or two exceptions. Here is the complete list of weapon variants that require kills, as well as their Assignments:

    • ASSAULT
      • Maschinenpistole M1912/P.16 Storm
        • Perform 50 kills with the Automatico M1918 Storm
        • Destroy 5 boats with the AT Rocket Gun
      • M1917 Trench Carbine
        • Perform 15 kills with Sidearms
        • Perform 5 multikills
    • MEDIC
      • Farquhar-Hill Optical
        • Perform 25 headshots with the Farquhar-Hill Storm
        • Complete 20 Squad Orders
      • Farquhar-Hill Storm
        • Perform 25 kills with the M1907 SL Trench
        • In a round, perform 10 revives
    • SUPPORT
      • M1917 MG Low Weight
        • Perform 25 kills with the BAR M1918 Trench
        • Perform 250 Vehicle Damage using Explosives
      • M1917 MG Telescopic
        • Perform 50 kills with the M1917 MG Low Weight
        • Perform 1500 points of suppression with any LMG
    • SCOUT
      • Type 38 Arisaka Infantry
        • Perform 25 Counter Sniping kills
        • As a Scout, perform 3 Multi kills
      • Carcano M91 Carbine
        • Perform 25 kills with the Gewehr M.95 Carbine
        • Destroy 5 explosives
    • MELEE
      • Naval Cutlass
        • Capture 20 flags while in a boat
        • Perform 15 kills on swimming enemies

Some of these are more annoying than others, so here are a few tips to help with unlocking them.

    • Destroy 5 boats with the AT Rocket Gun (Maschinenpistole M1912/P.16 Storm) - A good place to work towards this is Cape Helles, whilst on the Ottoman Empire side. If you lay low on the beach/rocks facing towards the British spawn, you will be inundated with boats charging towards the shore. Empty enemy boats also count but you have to be quick as they self-destruct when empty for too long. Alternatively - boost it on any map with boats. Have your boosting partner drive towards your location and blow them up 5 times. It helps if you capture a flag near to the enemy boat spawn so you can redeploy a few times to get more rockets, and not be too far from them.
    • Complete 20 Squad Orders (Farquhar-Hill Optical) - This simply means successfully capturing or defending an objective that has been marked with by the squad leader 20 times. You’ll notice when something is designated as an order when the objective is marked with green arrows. If you are playing with randoms, you may not have a squad leader who does this - you can either start a squad yourself and mark and do them solo or with people who join, or oust him by requesting an order a few times ( + ) until leadership gets passed to you/he sets an order to follow.
    • Perform 1500 points of suppression with any LMG (M1917 MG Telescopic) - Since the other assignment for this weapon is to perform 50 kills with the M1917 MG Low Weight, equip that and lay prone looking at an area where you know there are enemies. Now, just fire endlessly at their general location. I found Supply Drop (a game mode introduced in ‘In the Name of the Tsar’) to be excellent for this. The suppression points rack up in no time.
    • As a Scout, perform 3 Multi kills (Type 38 Arisaka Infantry) - This one can be tough as infantry using the Scout weapons but as mentioned earlier in the guide, jumping into the gunner seat of the L-Class Destroyer (or most other vehicles and even behemoths for that matter) and taking out vehicles makes this very easy. Just make sure you aren’t the driver or you won’t be a Scout.
    • Destroy 5 explosives (Carcano M91 Carbine) - This will likely come naturally but if you need to try for it, a good method is to use the spot flare as a Scout and occasionally you will see a small red symbol on the minimap which is an enemy explosive, whether it be an anti-tank mine, tripwire or similar. Look out for these and shoot them to destroy them if needed.
    • Capture 20 flags while in a boat (Naval Cutlass) - This one can be a pain but there are a couple of ways to do it. The legit way is to constantly play Conquest on Heligoland Bight and relentlessly go for flags. The problem with this is that everyone is usually doing the same and your boat is an easy target. The other way makes this a doddle - do them on an empty server using the method in the roadmap. I did 18 captures solo with nobody else in the lobby and it was a breeze this way.
    • Perform 15 kills on swimming enemies (Naval Cutlass) - The second of the assignments for the Naval Cutlass is arguably worse than the first. It’s rare to see an enemy swimming, so it’s a lengthy one to get legitimately. The best way is to hang around a body of water that is deep enough for enemies to be swimming, but not so long that they won’t bother - prime location for this criteria being Albion from the ‘In the Name of the Tsar’ DLC between A, B & C on Conquest. Stay low and silent on the shore with a large capacity LMG and wait for enemies to start swimming, then take them out. Alternatively, this one can be boosted with ease. Have your partner capture a flag near water and then keep running into it and swimming while you kill them. Wait on the shore and don’t capture their flag so they can keep spawning there and make it quicker. It takes mere minutes this way.

Of course, it is possible to boost this trophy, not only by doing the Assignments together but also by finding a partner who can 'drop' the weapons for you. It's very simple to meet up in a server and have your partner equip the gun you need, then redeploy, dropping the weapon when they die. All you need to do is pick it up and kill them with it when you meet again.

DLC: Apocalypse

5 trophies

  • Perform a melee kill on a Flametrooper Elite

This trophy is unlocked by killing a Flametrooper via any method of melee - this includes all the usual melee weapons whilst on foot, but also includes the bayonet charge, as well as kills with your melee weapon while on horseback as cavalry. It’s an instant kill if you can melee from behind whilst on foot. The trophy can either be annoying and luck based or very easy to unlock depending on how you go about it.

To go for it legitimately, use any of the methods above that are readily available to you whenever you see a Flametrooper. If you can possibly flank them or hide out near a crate where the kit will spawn, that will certainly help, but it can be frustrating just waiting until an enemy picks up the kit. A lot of the time it is a matter of luck, as sometimes you will be able to flank them unnoticed, other times they’ll have a guy right behind them who will just kill you before you can get to him.

The alternative is to boost it, which makes it an absolute breeze. Simply load up a map that has the Flametrooper kit and have your partner equip it, then melee kill him however you like. Conquest maps that have the kit available to both teams include (but not limited to):

    • [BASE] - Sinai Desert (E Flag)
    • [BASE] - Fao Fortress (F Flag)
    • [BASE] - Argonne Forest (C Flag)
    • [BASE] - Empire’s Edge (D Flag)
    • [BASE] - Amiens (B Flag)
    • [BASE] - Prise De Tahure (C Flag)
    • [TSNP] - Fort De Vaux (C Flag)
    • [APOC] - Caporetto (B Flag)
    • [APOC] - River Somme (between E Flag & F Flag)
    • [APOC] - Passchendaele (D Flag)

Additionally, they will sometimes be available from near the spawn on certain maps and modes, depending on how badly a team is getting beaten or in the case of Operations, how many Battalions have been used.

  • Perform 1 kill with the Livens Projector

The Livens Projector is a new stationary weapon introduced in this DLC. It fires gas canisters to a fixed location (usually the first flag or next flag along) in order to help clear out the enemies that may be near there. You can spot them by the lamp located above the switch, which when lit, also means that the Livens Projector is ready to fire.

    The locations are as follows:

    • River Somme - One Livens Projector:
      • Located in the spawn of the attacking British side, pointed directly at A Flag.
    • Passchendaele - One Livens Projector:
      • Located in the spawn of the attacking German side, pointed directly at E Flag.
    • Caporetto - Five Livens Projectors:
      • Located in the spawn of the attacking Austria-Hungarian side, pointed directly at A Flag.
      • At A Flag, pointed directly at B Flag.
      • At B Flag, pointed directly at C Flag.
      • At C Flag, pointed directly at D Flag.
      • At D Flag, pointed directly at E Flag.

The best thing to do is wait near one and activate the switch using by pressing and holding when you can see that the flag that it’s targeting is being captured. Once fired, hopefully within a few seconds you'll start gaining points for damage and eventually, one or more kills. Once you get the kills, the trophy will pop.

This trophy is reportedly slightly buggy for some people, in that it doesn’t immediately unlock after a single kill as stated. Reports seem few and far between, but if this happens to you, keep trying and it should unlock after a couple of kills at most.

  • Perform 1 kill with the Broken Bottle

The Broken Bottle is a hidden weapon added with this DLC. To get 1 kill with it, you must first unlock it - you do this by accumulating 5 kills with the Wine Bottles that are dotted around each of the new maps.

Once you pick up a Wine Bottle, it will not spawn again in the place that you took it from for the rest of the round. You will also lose the Wine Bottle if you try to switch weapons, so once you pick one up, keep running around with it until you get a kill or die. Once you get a kill with it, it breaks so you’ll need to find another one for the next kill. If someone else recently picked up a Wine Bottle, it won’t spawn there for a few minutes afterwards, so if you can’t find it, it may be that someone only just picked it up themselves.

The locations of the Wine Bottles on Conquest are:

    • Passchendaele:
      • In the bunker, on a table at B Flag
      • In a damaged bunker, on the ground between D Flag and E Flag
      • On a table near E Flag
    • River Somme:
      • In the windmill, under the stairs on the ground at B Flag
      • Inside the house, in a corner on the ground at C Flag
      • Near a chimney, on a machine at E Flag
    • Caporetto:
      • Near the record player and bench to the rear of B Flag
      • At the base of the statue near B Flag
      • At the base of the wall over the bridge at C Flag
      • On a wall, near the Livens Projector at D Flag

Once unlocked, simply equip the Broken Bottle to your chosen kit, then play until you get a melee kill, at which point the trophy will pop.

Personally, I found River Somme the easiest map to get the required kills. The windmill location at B Flag lends itself well to camping until an enemy walks in, it’s a similar situation with the house at C Flag, and the E Flag location is quite built up so you can run between structures and surprise enemies quite easily.

  • Destroy 5 airplanes while in the Behemoth Airship L30

This is probably the easiest trophy in this DLC, and the quickest way to unlock it is as follows: head to the Multiplayer tab and use the Server Browser to filter results to the Air Assault game mode, and filter it further to the maps ‘London Calling: Raiders’ and ‘London Calling: Scourge’. Now join a game, wait until a spot in a Behemoth is available and spawn into it. All you need to do from here is shoot relentlessly at any enemy plane you see.

This game mode seems very generous with how it awards kills and plane destructions - enemies flying their planes into the Airship and dying, and assists all seem to count and award points. Once you have destroyed 5 planes, which should come within a few minutes, the trophy will unlock.

  • Perform a kill with all "Apocalypse" weapon variants

This is the most time-consuming trophy of the DLC, especially if you are working towards it legitimately by unlocking each gun. As per the previous DLCs, Apocalypse introduced a slew of new weapons and you’ll need a kill with each one listed to unlock this trophy. There are 10 weapons that require you to get at least one kill, and it doesn’t matter whether you unlock them yourself and get a kill, or use the weapon after picking it up from a dead soldier - any kill will count.

That includes checking progress on the Assignments you are working towards, and also whether or not you have a kill with each of the 10 weapons.

The Weapon Assignments for this DLC are pretty straightforward in comparison to some of the previous DLCs and shouldn’t take much effort to unlock. Here is the complete list of weapon variants that require kills, as well as their Assignments:

    • ASSAULT
      • RSC SMG Factory
        • Perform 50 kills as Assault
      • RSC SMG Optical
        • Perform 50 kills with the RSC SMG Factory
        • In a round, perform 300 Vehicle Damage using Explosives
    • MEDIC
      • Howell Automatic Factory
        • Perform 50 kills as a Medic
      • Howell Automatic Sniper
        • Perform 50 kills with the Howell Automatic Factory
        • In a round, perform 600 points of Healing
    • SUPPORT
      • IMG 08/18 Low Weight
        • Perform 50 kills as Support
      • IMG 08/18 Suppressive
        • Perform 50 kills with the IMG 08/18 Low Weight
        • In a round, perform 100 Resupplies
    • SCOUT
      • Ross MkIII Marksman
        • Perform 50 kills as a Scout
      • M1917 Enfield Infantry
        • Perform 50 kills with the Ross MkIII Marksman
        • Accumulate 2,500 meters of headshots using Single-Action Rifles
    • SIDEARM
      • Revolver Mk VI
        • Kill 25 different enemies using Revolvers
    • MELEE
      • Broken Bottle
        • Display a reckless disregard for the finer things in life (kill 5 enemies using Wine Bottles)

Here are a few tips to help with some of the assignments if required:

    • In a round, perform 300 Vehicle Damage using Explosives (RSC SMG Optical) - I did this by accident while I was going for boat kills during the Turning Tides DLC. Use the Assault class and equip anti-vehicle explosives such as AT Mines, AT Grenades or the AT Rocket Launcher. Play Operations if you find you are running out of time to get 300 Damage as it tends to have very long rounds.
    • In a round, perform 600 points of Healing (Howell Automatic Sniper) - A very easy one, especially if you play on a smaller Operations map with a lot of bottlenecks. Follow your team mates around and drop your medical boxes when they are injured and place them in doorways and anywhere there’s likely to be a lot of foot traffic, and this will come in no time.
    • In a round, perform 100 Resupplies (IMG 08/18 Suppressive) - The same principle as the above applies for this too, play on Operations for maximum time and relentlessly drop ammo boxes in narrow or crowded areas and the resupplies will rack up extremely quickly.
    • Accumulate 2,500 meters of headshots using Single-Action Rifles (M1917 Enfield Infantry) - The other assignment for this weapon is 50 kills with the Ross MkIII Marksman, so use that weapon whilst going for this. If you stay back from the action and provide overwatch, you can get quite a few long distance headshots and you will be done with this before getting the 50 kills. I found it useful to use the Trench Periscope when staying back to spot the enemies so they don’t see your scope glint, then popping out to get the kill.
