Introduction:
Welcome to Barry the Bunny! Originally developed and published by LightUP and ported to consoles by Ratalaika Games, this game is a 2D platformer that follows some of the same gameplay fundamentals as Prehistoric Dude, but with a unique twist where players collect pieces of wood to repair bridges that were destroyed by the overalls gang and help the bunnies make it back to their homes.

Walkthrough:

Step 1:
Enjoy the game to your heart's content!
Much like other games that were published by Ratalaika, there isn't much to say other than to enjoy the game, since you will unlock trophies up until you complete the game's twenty-sixth level (AKA Level 1-2 in-game) and save at least twenty-five bunnies. However, keep in mind that are many enemies and hazards you will come across while playing through this game.

Additionally, there are other trophies you should keep in mind while going for this game's platinum, such as defeating two of the specified enemies, and two more trophies that are related to two of the items in the game.

Upon completing this step, you will unlock the following trophies:

    Story related. Cannot be missed.

This trophy will be unlocked once you complete Level 26 (known as Level 1-2 in-game) for the first time. Keep in mind that while there are a total of 100 levels, the game's trophy list only goes up until the game's 26th level.

Each level in Barry the Bunny consists of the same platforming fundamentals that are found in a few other games published by Ratalaika, such as Prehistoric Dude, for example. But now there's a twist: you are also tasked with saving bunnies by collecting three pieces of wood to create a bridge and help them get back to their home.

In the twenty-fifth level of each world, you will encounter a boss fight where you will need to make it to the end of the level and have the boss fall into a pit of lava, which will open the door to the next world you will need to go to. It should also be noted that you also need to save the bunnies that need to return home (more information on that can be found in A lot of Bunnies trophy_gold.png).
  • Save 5 bunnies.

See A lot of Bunnies trophy_gold.png for more information.
  • Save 10 bunnies.

See A lot of Bunnies trophy_gold.png for more information.
  • Save 25 bunnies.

In order to save a bunny in each of the game's levels, you will need to collect three pieces of wood that are scattered across each level before going to the sign that shows how many pieces of wood are needed to build the bridge that will guide the bunny back to its home. Some examples of this can be seen in the screenshots below:

Top Screenshot: An example of a bunny that has yet to be rescued.
Bottom Screenshot: An example of the bunny being rescued and returning to its home.

You can also get items that will count towards the Carrot Keeper trophy_gold.png and Level Up trophy_gold.png trophies, but keep in mind that the item selection you will get from saving a bunny and returning it to its home is random and may consist of different items.

It should also be noted that if you didn't save a bunny in a level you've completed previously, you can backtrack to that level using level select (which can be accessed by pausing the game and selecting Exit) and collect the wood pieces that are scattered around the area to help them return home. A screenshot of the level select screen can be found below:

  • Kill a hedgehog enemy.

The Hedgehog is one of the enemies you will come by throughout your journey. These enemies will make their debut at the end of the first level, making them the first enemy you will see in the game. A screenshot of this enemy can be found below:

As the trophy's description says, you will need to attack it with your hammer for the first time in order to unlock it.
  • Kill a bee enemy.

The Bee is another enemy you will come across while playing through the game. It is a flying enemy that requires you to either attack it from a height or while jumping due to it not being stationed on the ground, unlike the Hedgehog. A screenshot of this enemy can be found below:

You will first see this enemy at the end of the game's seventh level, and as the trophy's description says, you will need to kill it by throwing your hammer at it for the first time. Keep in mind that as mentioned earlier, you may need to jump if necessary when attempting to attack it.
  • Get a potion to increase your equipment.

In addition to collecting wood pieces to save the bunnies, Barry can also collect potions to increase his health (which normally happens when you collect 100 carrots). This is evident by Barry wearing a new piece of clothing every time he does either one of the two aforementioned criteria. A screenshot of the potion can be found below:

As the trophy's description says, you will need to collect a potion for the first time in order to unlock it. More information on Barry's health can be found in Carrot Keeper trophy_gold.png.
  • Get 25 carrots at the same time.

This trophy will be unlocked upon collecting 25 carrots in a single playthrough for the first time.

In addition to the potions that you can find hidden within each level, Carrots can also help Barry level up once he has collected 100 of them, but keep in mind that your carrot count will decrease every time you lose a life. Each time Barry collects 100 carrots, his health will also increase, which is based on how many items he has equipped in the following order:
    1. Construction Helmet
    2. Vest
    3. Sunglasses
In addition to that, you can also collect potions to increase your health without the need to collect 100 carrots each time. More information on the potion item can be found in Level Up trophy_gold.png.
