For these trophies, you’ll be taking on 4 optional bosses that are unlocked by purchasing certain rumors that unlock after finishing Julio’s and Nazarus’s events: Yasuk, Durak, Light Elemental, and Demon King. Before fighting them you’ll want to make some good equipment and items. Here’s some info on setting up your party:
Weapon Traits:It’s debatable what the best traits to use are, but you can get by without using some of the more rare traits like Barrage Attack and Avidya Attack. I was able to easily beat Light Elemental and Demon King using these three traits on a tier 5 (Harmonium) weapon:
Dragon Soul: Trait on Dragon Heart dropped by dragon monsters (Dragonaire, Magmacius, Yasuk, Durak)
Power of Gods:
- Attack Enhance + Attack Boost = Power of Beasts
- Attack Boost + Attack Super Enhance = Power of Destruction
- Power of Beasts + Power of Destruction = Power of Gods
Well Rounded Power:
- Combining any 2 multiple attribute Enhance properties = All Stat Enhance
- Combining any 2 multiple attribute Boost properties = All Stat Boost
- All Stat Enhance + All Stat Boost = All Stat Super Enhance
- All Stat Boost + All Stat Super Enhance = Well Rounded Power
If you have Avidya Attack or Barrage Attack, you can use those to replace Dragon Soul or Power of Gods, but they tend to only drop from boss monsters or from the chests in Soul Space.
Armor Traits:If you want high defense, I’d recommend making a Full Metal Shirt (Fairheit). The JP wiki recommends Wanderer’s Shirt if you want to emphasize damage, but I was fine with the Full Metal Shirt. Recommended traits are:
Develops the Body:
- Parameters +5% + Parameters +6% = Enhance the Body
- Parameters +6% + Parameters +7% = Draw Out Power
- Enhance the Body + Draw Out Power = Develops the Body
Dragonscale Defense:
- Defense Enhance + Defense Boost = Steel Defense
- Defense Boost + Defense Super Enhance = Diamond Defense
- Steel Defense + Diamond Defense = Dragonscale Defense
Well Rounded Power: (See weapon traits)
Enhancing and the 999 Quality Glitch:A few notes on enhancing items. For weapons you’ll want to use a high quality Harmonium, and for armor a high quality Flugel. For the best stats you’ll want to put the Well Rounded Power, Skill Super Enhance, and Deadly Attack traits on it. Some of those traits are quite rare, so you could just use the same traits you used when making your weapon/armor, you’ll still be able to easily defeat Demon King.
There’s also a glitch that allows you to very easily to craft 999 quality weapons and armor which will basically double its base stats. Basically, you want one of the ingredients for your weapon or armor to have a Quality up trait. Then when you’re at the screen for deciding what traits to pick, pick the Quality trait, hit

, then

(

on the Vita), then select craft. Keep doing this until the quality hits 999. You can then select the traits you want to keep and craft the weapon/armor. See below video for details on the glitch and some tips on enhancing:
Accessories:Recommended accessories are a
Time Control Hourglass for everyone with max effects except don’t put on Speed to Power (keep Sun Powder value < 85). Second accessory is a
Hustle Belt with max effects for Sophie and Leon, and a
White-Hot Headband with max effects for everyone else. You unfortunately can’t glitch your way to 999 quality for accessories or items, so just try to get it as high as possible; I made do with high 100s – low 200s. For traits you will want:
Speed of Light:- Speed Enhance + Speed Boost = Speed of Skanda
- Speed Boost + Speed Super Enhance = Speed of Gods
- Speed of Skanda + Speed of Gods = Speed of Light
Well Rounded Power: See Weapon traits
Power of Faith: Trait on Pious Talisman sold by Pamela
Items:There’s one healing item that you must have, which is
Breezy Aroma. You want it to have max effects and the following traits:
False Flower: Trait on Dunkelstern (Dropped by Kimmoch, Nightshade, and others)
Full of Life: Trait on Dunkelheit (Gather at Forest of Fairies after buying Flower Blooming in Silence rumor)
Multi Bonus: Pendegrune from Tess, various other items
I’d recommend registering it with Cory and equipping a couple to each character in your party. Other nice to have healing items are
Spirit Weave Cloth with max effects and the same traits, and
Mystery Elixir with the same traits except Single Bonus instead of Multi Bonus.
For attack items you’ll want a
Flame of the End and
God’s Gift both with max effects. I was able to make do with these traits:
Ultimate Destruction:
- Destruction Up + Destruction Up + = Big Destruction
- Destruction Up + + Destruction Up ++ = Intense Destruction
- Big Distruction + Intense Destruction = Ultimate Destruction
Intense Destruction: See above
Cost Bonus: Trait Enhance + Trait Enhance +
Better but rarer traits are
No Attribute instead of
Intense Destruction and
Trait Super Enhance instead of
Cost Bonus. You can also alternatively use
One Hit Kill instead of
Intense Destruction if you want a guaranteed critical.
In addition to the equipment, it’ll also be helpful if you farm some experience and upgrade your characters' abilities. The Tempestus in Soul Space on Despair difficulty will give 2-3 levels worth of experience per fight, and 2 respawn everytime you leave/re-enter the area.
In terms of your active party, I always went with Julio, Leon, and Plachta, but it’s really up to you, though I’d recommend keeping Leon for her level down skill. My basic strategy was to on the first turn, have Plachta use a Breezy Aroma, Leon use her Heaven Rose skill, Julio use his Reinforce skill, and Sophie use her God’s Gift (or Heaven’s Cleanser if you make one after beating Light Elemental). Afterwards I’d use the Flame of the End for Sophie and just normal attacks with everyone else. With this strategy I was able to beat the bosses in 2-3 turns on Normal. If you’ve maxed out your abilities and are playing on Easy, you can probably get by with just using normal attacks with everyone.
Now it’s time to unlock these bosses. The first ones you can unlock are Yasuk and Durak. First, you’ll need to have finished Julio’s and Nazarus’s events (last one you need is Nazarus’s request for medicine when he visits the Atelier). Now you can check Horst’s rumors until you see the Sealed Disaster rumor, which will spawn the Sealed Demon Lord boss at Sealed Ruins. After beating him, you’ll need to check Horst’s rumors again until you see the Suddenly Appearing Strange Rocks rumor. Purchasing this will spawn a large rock in Moon Sun Mor. After this, Horst will eventually sell a rumor called Heaven’s Twin Dragons, which will allow you to fight the dragons at Moon Sun Mor. You need to beat Durak first to fight Yasuk. The following videos are of the boss fights on Normal difficulty. Check the Demon King video to see the equipment/items I am using:
Now that you’ve defeated the dragons, Horst will start selling the Ruler of Light rumor. Purchase it to unlock a fight with Light Elemental at Moon Sun Moor. Light Elemental can be harder than Demon King due to her getting a high evasion boost when her health reaches a certain point. She still shouldn't pose much of a problem:
Now the only one that remains is the Demon King. If you want, you can make a
Heaven's Cleanser to replace your
God's Gift. It's quite strong if you get it to max effects and put good traits on it. In order to unlock the Demon King, you must have visited the Soul Space, which is located in the last room of Sealed Temple only on Seed days. You’ll get a scene with Sophie, Plachta and Julio when you approach it. Also, in addition to beating Light Elemental, you'll need to also beat Wind Elemental (Rumor: Ruler of Wind) and Ice Elemental (Rumor: Ruler of Ice). They are much easier than Light Elemental, so don't worry about them. After this, Horst will eventually sell the Flash of Darkness rumor that unlocks the fight against Demon King in Soul Space. The fight should be even easier than the Light Elemental fight since you shouldn't miss as often:
