Introduction:

If you're playing this game (actually pronounced gem) it means you are a proud owner of a PS5 so let me start by congratulating you! This game comes pre-loaded with every PS5 for free and it should be the very first game you ever play on your new console. This is meant to be a demo to show you the features of the new DualSense but it's really more than that, it's an ode to the PlayStation brand and will surely remind you all the memories you had playing on previous consoles (and if you're new, you'll see everything you missed!)

The platinum is pretty simple, completing all levels and collecting everything with the addition of quick miscellaneous tasks and you'll be done. The DLC trophies (which don't actually require you to DownLoad any other Content) are a little more challenging but it's really not difficult at all.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Complete all 4 levels and collect every artefacts-puzzle pieces

First things first you want to complete every levels and collect all the artefacts and the puzzle pieces in each of them. There is no real reason to wait further to collect them as you can get them all in your first run and if you miss a collectible, simply replay the level until you get it, then you can leave the level as they're saved instantly you don't have to finish the level. The PS5 activity cards will show you every collectibles but you'll need a PS+ subscription to be able to use them, if you don't have PS+ you can find videos under the related trophies in this guide. Don't forget to kill all enemies and collect the yellow PS coins as you'll need a lot of them to get all Gatcha Prizes. I recommend completing the levels in order (Memory Meadow => SSD Speedway => Cooling Springs => GPU Jungle) to get the best experience but in the end it doesn't matter much and it's totally up to you. There are also collectibles in the CPU Plaza "hub" so make sure to get them too.

Step 2: Miscellaneous trophies

Once you have completed the 4 main levels, a 5th secret level will be available but it's actually a DLC trophy so for the sake of this guide we shall focus on all the miscellaneous trophies first. Some of them will require you to have collected specific artefacts first so make sure to have collected them before attempting these trophies. You will also need to have collected specific Gatcha Prizes for some other misc trophies so it'd be a good idea to collect all the Gatcha Prizes first.

Step 3: DLC trophies

As I said previously, when completing all 4 main levels, a 5th secret one will be available through the ground level of the CPU Plaza hub, complete it and get the last artefacts of the game. After completing the main levels, you will also unlock a total of 8 challenges and a DLC trophy requires you to complete them all with a cumulative time of 7 minutes or less.

At the end of this step you will earn the following trophies:

First you need to collect every artifacts in all main stages so refer to the related trophies:

Then you will need 10 more artifacts that you can collect through the Gatcha Prize machine. Obviously you probably won't collect all 10 artifacts in a row unless you're extremely lucky but to get all the prizes available you will need a total of ~6,000 PS coins.

The Gatcha Prize machine is located in the PS Labo, in addition of Artifacts and Puzzle Pieces there are also different prizes to collect with this machine.

Each prize will cost you 100 PS Coins and you will need ~6,000 PS Coins to collect them all. You probably won't get enough coins after finishing the game so you'll need to farm a bit, a good way to get coins quickly is to replay Bot Beach - Cooling Springs, go down the slide at the start then restart level, rinse and repeat.
Project Neo

Send 10 bots flying with a single spin attack.
This can be coupled with The last Guy and Gravity Daze!

When in the CPU Plaza hub, you will see a lot of bots (you might need to finish the main levels first) hit 20 of them so they follow you and you'll earn The last Guy . Now run over the glass in the middle of the hub and make sure there are at least 10 bots standing on it, then hit the glass with , you should get Gravity Daze! . Now hold and release it to perform a spin attack and hit at least 10 bots to get Project Neo .

Walk around with at least 20 bots following you in CPU Plaza.

Keepy Uppies

Juggled a ball 5 times with the Frog Suit.
This is done in Hotel Hopalot - Cooling Springs level. At some point in the level you will see a box with balloons in it, you need to hold + and release it to break the box, then do the same to juggle with one of the balloon 5 times in a row.

Wipeout!

Got a strike in Memory Meadow.
This is done in Fastlane Fields - Memory Meadow, at the start of this level you will control the Ball Suit and you'll see some bowling pins on your right, walk on them with the ball and get a strike.

Ready for the Proving

Deflected a Spitter's attack with an arrow.
This is done at the end of Raytrace Ruins - GPU Jungle. Near the end of this level, there will be some green enemies that will throw projectiles at you and you'll have a bow so hold , wait until the monster shoots his projectile, aim at the projectile and press to hopefully hit it.

No no no noooooo!

Fell 99 feet and caught yourself in the monkey suit in GPU Jungle.
This is done at the very end of Mr. Motherboard - GPU Jungle, right before accessing the area with the final artifact. You will climb very high with some kind of teleporter, for this trophy you need to release + before reaching the top, you will then fall and then you'll need to hold + again to grab something and not die.

It's All In The Mind

Beat 3 enemies quickly by punching them.
This trophy can be done in multiple levels but Deep Dataspace - SSD Speedway has a pretty good spot for this. There's 4 enemies close together at some point during the level so make sure to punch them all with quickly.

This Way Up

Punched the PS Logo on the PS2 in PlayStation Labo.
This require you to first collect the PS2 artifact (earned after finishing the SSD Speedway level) or the PS2 Slim artifact (Orbital Obstacles - SSD Speedway). Now in the PS Labo, run to one of the PS2s and punch the logo with
You Got a Trophy!

Picked up a trophy in PlayStation Labo.
This require first to get a specific prize with the Gatch machine, the one with bots holding trophies. When you collect this one, it will appear in the PS Labo so look around until you see them and press to pick up a trophy.
I Recognize You…

Punched and looked into the lens of PS VR in PlayStation Labo.
First you will need to collect the PS VR Headset artifact located in Mr. Motherboard - GPU Jungle. After that it will appear in the PS Labo so go there and punch the lens of the PS VR with
The very far point...

Stood on the tip of the Aim Controller in PlayStation Labo.
For this one you first need to collect a few artifacts:
- PlayStation 2 (finish the SSD Speedway levels)
- PS Move Shooting Attachment (Springy Spa - Cooling Springs)
- PS Move Sharp Shooter (Springy Spa - Cooling Springs)
- PS VR Aim Controller (Mr. Motherboard - GPU Jungle)
Then in the PS Labo, climb on the PS2 and on the PS Move accessories to make your way to the tip of the Aim Controller.

Honey, I'm Home!

Walked under the PlayStation Home icon in PlayStation Labo.

First you need to collect the Gatcha Prize with the bot and the PS Home logo. Once you collected it, look around in the PS Labo until you find it and walk under the logo.
Disc swap!

Opened the lid of the PlayStation console in PlayStation Labo.
You first need to finish the Memory Meadow levels to collect the PlayStation artifact. Then in the PS Labo, look around for it and go jump and hold on the the lid of the console. It will open it and you'll earn the trophy.
Hell Diver

Dived into the water from the diving board.
This is done in Springy Spa - Cooling Springs (this is actually at the end of Bot Beach but it's faster to start from Springy Spa and go behind). Jump at the top of the highest diving board and then jump in the water.

Jumping Splash!

Jumped in the fountain near the final goal in Cooling Springs.
This is done at the end of Hotel Hopalot - Cooling Springs, right where you collect the final artifact of the level.
You can see some fountains around you here, you simply need to jump on one of them and you'll get the trophy.

Twisting Metal

Jumped 3 times during a spin attack on ice.
This id one in Frigid Floes - Cooling Springs, early on in this level you'll be walking on ice, hold to perform a spin and press to jump 3 times during the spin attack.

Sheltered from the heavy rain in Memory Meadow.
This is done in Gusty Gateway - Meamory Meadow, at some point during this level it will start to rain, go under the shelter and stand there for a few seconds.

Pain!

Got hit by flying garbage in Memory Meadow.
This is done at the start of Gusty Gateway - Memory Meadow. There will be some clouds that will make the weather windy and they will also throw some garbage at you, simply stand still until you get hit by one of them.
Little Rolling star…

Made a huge snowball.

This is done in Frigid Floes - Cooling Springs, when you're on the ice go to the left and you will see an clearly unfinished snowman. Hit him, then walk around pushing the snowball until it becomes huge.
Adequate, boy…

Hit all rabbits with arrows at the mountain peak of GPU Jungle.

This is done at the very end of Mr. Motherboard - GPU Jungle, in the area where you pick up the final artifact. You will be able to grab a bow here and there will be a total of 8 rabbits to shoot, some will be on the ground and others up the cliffs.
Wild Arms

Performed a spin while shooting the machine gun.
This is done in Deep Dataspace - SSD Speedway, you'll grab the machine gun in this level, once you have it hold to do a spin and hold at the same time to shoot with the gun.
Super Computer

Revealed former logo in PlayStation Labo.
First you will need to collect the SIE Logo from the Gatcha Prize machine, once you've got it, it will appear in the PS Labo. You then need to hit it a few times until it changes the logo and reveal the former logo.

3 trophies

Play Has No Limits!

Cleared the game and got the New Generation artifacts.
To get this trophy you need to clear the 5th secret world, dedicated to the PlayStation 5. To unlock it you first need to complete all 4 main levels, then you'll be able to access this new level from the ground level on the CPU Plaza hub.

This level is actually very short but it includes 2 T-Rex bosses that you need to beat. They worked pretty much the same even though the second one will have different attacks but you need to dodge their attacks until you get hit them in the eyes, until they're defeated. After that, you will see the credits (hit the gold letters for coins) then you'll find your 4 new artifacts to collect.
Run Astro Run!

Got a total Speed Run time of 7 minutes or under.
There are a total of 8 Speed Run challenges and they'll be unlocked after finishing the 4 main levels of the game. You can acces them through the CPU Plaza. Some of them will include the Ball, Rocket, Frog and Monkey suits so make sure you're confortable with using these. You need to complete all of them and have a cumulative total time of 7 minutes or less. It is a very lenient time so don't stress too much about it, just practice the different challenges if you have difficulty and to improve your time.

Made the CPU Chip punch the glass sphere, sending at least 10 Bots flying.
