Sage Trophy

    Collect all available books.

    By books, they really do mean all available books in the game. Books you obtain throughout the story, the 7 Polo Books from secondary memories, and the books you have to buy in the stores around the city, all count towards this trophy. Note that Cappadoica sells different books than the other stores, and these books counts towards the trophy as well. There are a total of 28 books you need for this, all the books you have and empty spots for the others can be viewed in the library in the Assassin HQ.

    • 3 books you will get during the story from you various encounters with Sophia.
    • 7 will come from the extra Nicolo Polo memories located around the city.
    • 14 can be bought from the shops in Constantinople that will cost you, with the 15% Assassin Discount, a total of 115,130A
    • 4 can be bought from the shop in Cappadocia, these will cost you a total of 352,303A and that's with the 10% Templar "Tax". You can't do anything about that though as you can't gain control of this area.

    That said, you are going to need near half a million to buy all these books, so it's recommended that you have that in mind from the start. Build up the city a bit and make sure you are collecting your money from the bank etc as you go. Ultimately for me it came down to leaving the game running since this was the last thing I had left, as I imagine will be the case for most people. Leave the game on, pick up your money from the bank every so often. I had all banks renovated so the total they could store was 120,000. You can also keep sending your assassins out on missions. Just look for the ones that give decent amounts of money and go for them.

    Is it just me, or do some of the books cost so much its a royal pain to get them? I have all single player achievements except the books because other than sending my assassins on missions to make money, all i can do is wait around doing nothing while i collect bank money every 20 min. At that rate, its gonna take me 3 more hours of doind NOTHING in single player just to get the last 3 books i need. ANNOYING! Unless of course someone knows a nice trick to make easy money... and fast?

    I just continued the storyline. Bought everything because I made so much money through the thief,mercenary, assassin challenges, etc. So just do all of the side things and you're sure to rack up the money :)

    i wish this trophy was just scrapped :/ its not hard at all just really annoying since some books are over 100,00A like if it wasnt hard enough already,, to make money fast just go to piri reis shop and take bomb equipment and walk in and out in and out and then sell him his on stuff :p

    I just climed to a wall next to a bank (to avoid stalkers killing me) and left the game to stack up money. Kinda funny how the stalker always came when i dropped of the wall =D

    If you hire thieves before you walk away (I think you need the thief faction ability), they will continuously steal from people around you. It may not seem like a lot, but it adds up really quickly and it's a nice way to earn money a little faster.

    Yes, I just picked up the final ones. These are easily affordable, if you've been renovating and doing Contracts / Challenges or gathering treasure boxes. I've just bought the last of them and I've still got 110K left. Once you have all the books, if you return to the Hideout there's a cutscene where Ezio shows them off to Sophia.

    can anyone tell me if this trophy is glitched??? i swear i bought all the books (including the cappadoccia ones) did all the niccolo polo book missions and still it wouldn't pop up. I'm very pissed at the game right now, i hope i dont have to play it all over again just for 1 trophy :(

    @ #15. I've encountered the same problem! I just purchased the last 4 books in Cappadocia and the trophy didn't pop up. I even tried replaying the Polo memories to see if it would work then, still nothing. I replayed Sequence 7 to purchase the last 4 books in Cappadocia instead of taking the boat there. I wonder if it had something to do with this. If anybody has encountered this problem and has found a solution, please share! Thanks.

    I got the same problem that #15 and #16... i haven't found a solution yet, but i suspect it's related to the update, because i did the same thigs that you guys did, like re do the Niccolo Polo, and stuff like this, with no luck... If anyone found a solution, please share! thx!

    I had the bug too, only I realised it when an other trophy did'nt pop either, in case ur worried and don't want it to happen, just delete the 1.O2 update under DATA UTILITY, it will be marked as ASSASSINS CREED (UPDATE). Delete it, get the trophy and reinstall, u will not have a trophy bug then. However if you already bought them and the trophy didn't pop... Sorry to beak it for yu guys but from what ive read, you will have to start over. :S please prove me wrong guys

    I too had the bug. I read off of another website and it said that you had to delete the patch and then start a new game if you got all the books, which sadly I did. I did start a new game and I am almost to the trophy. Hopefully it works once I do everything. I'm willing to restart the game because I love Assassins Creed. Please Work!

    31 is correct...delete update, renovate banks and other shops, let game run while hiding to to acrue funds and get to Sequence 7 so buy the Cappadocia books. whew...so much to do and I wouldn't be if it weren't the only thing standing in my way of the Plat

    I restarted the game and im on sequence 6. I bought all the books in Constantinople,I just need the Cappadocia I think I got all the Polo books. And I don't know if I have all of Sofia's books. Like #32, I just sit around and wait for the bank to fill. I also send my assassins out on missions to get money. You can also make a large profit off of selling your bomb ingredients. Take control of cities, you get bomb stuff like every 20 mins along with your money in the bank.

    You have to delete the 1.02 patch BEFORE getting all the books in order for the trophy to pop. If you do that then play OFFLINE to get the last books the trophy will come up. If you have already gotten all the books like I had, you will have to start a whole new game and buy the books WITHOUT 1.02 installed. I am now in the process of speed-running through the game and farming acre AGAIN to get this trophy to load. I got all the other trophies to load in 1.02, the bomb craft challenge was a little weird but worked when I actually threw the bombs at targets.

    #42 the bomb craft challenges were like screwed up with me. It says craft 1 bomb with each shell type and I would do that and nothing would happen. I also got the signature edition and the codes that unlocks ammo capacity upgrades and multiplayer character would not work. It really sad.

    I am so annoyed, 98% of trophies (no DLC) spent the last 5 hours sitting there waiting for the money to come through the bank, get it go over to the bank buy my last few books, nothing, went onto google searched up found it was glitched tried multiple ideas to get it, still nothing. Now i have to start the game from the start just for one stupid glitched bronze trophy, the only reason I'll be starting again is that this is my last trophy before platinum!

    Same problem with others. All books no trophy. The only solution for now is to delete the patch and start a new game. Well, this trophy is obviously glitched due to patch 1.02 and the trophy description of this one should be updated.

    Luckily I had an online save on the PlayStation+ from the fifth sequence. I deleted the update, resumed the game from the fifth sequence until the seventh. As soon as I bought the last book in Cappadocia, the trophy popped.

    @ Ps3 Trophies: Please fix the overvieuw. @ Everyone else: Ubisoft is aware of the glitch and they're working on a patch/update/fix, whatever, to fix this. Estimated time is unknown, but you can receive an email if you follow it on their homepage. Go to support, go the asked questions and sage.     last news about the patch ou this Feb 9 from Ubisoft : We are currently in the process of finalizing Title Update 3, the patch that will fix problems with the Sage Trophy/Achievement as well as some issues players were experiencing with changing Outfits. This update is still routing through approvals and does not have a set date as yet, however, we are targeting the end of February for its release (though, if we can get it out earlier, we will do so). Full patch notes should be incoming within the next week or two.

    All kidding aside, as of now, the patch is up and available for the next time you play the game online. I started the game up, selected my file, and while the game was loading, the trophy popped up.

    Thanks to UBISOFT. Patch 1.03 is out & they have fixed the bug! If you had all books and no trophies you will get it right after you enter single player with patch 1.03. HELL YEAH! :D

    TGI patched! :) Ubisoft know how to keep us sweet, adding a startup trigger to make sure the trophy is awarded without having to do anything extra!

    Patch 1.03 out, problems solved. About getting the money necessary for the trophy, I did this: 01: Buy all landmarks and shops to maximize the money earned every 20 minutes. 02: Have 5 assassins deployed to each city (all at level 10 if possible). 03: Have the thief steal ability from the thieves guild challenges. Now deploy all assassins in all cities to missions, hire thieves and leave Ezio standing with his back to a Bank or any other shop (to avoid being killed by stalkers). Leave the game for 20 minutes and come back. Cash out your city income from the bank a send all assassins on more missions. This missions + income + thieves money stocks up to almost 100.000 each 20 minutes. This was the fastest way to make money I could come up with, if anyone has a better one pleas

    God, I appreciate PlayStation Plus for uploading my game save yesterday. I bought all the books WITH the damned update, almost killed myself, and then I realized I have a game save from yesterday in my PlayStation Plus' online storage. I deleted the update, backed up my current game save, replaced it with the online one, purchased the last book, and it worked!!! Thanks a lot, Ubisoft...

    The last update of AC revelations seens to have fixed this problem, I had a saved game with all 100% including all the books but this trophy didn't pop, but now when I downloaded the last update and load my game the trophy poped the as soon as the game started. Hope to have helped you guys

    This was the last trophy I got before receiving my platinum for AC: Revelations. I honestly didn't think it was so bad. If you've been renovating buildings and little stores throughout the game, then you should be stacking up money fairly quickly. I did have to leave my ps3 on for about 2 hours, but it wasn't thaat dreadful lol. A tip for you future "sage" owners: Hire a group of thieves,and wait by a bank with citizens passing by. They'll pickpocket and steal money from the civilians and give it to you. You do have to complete the thieves challenge to unlock this useful trick, though.

    Strange. Before I even entered sequence 4 I already had 100% income. This, added with my constant assassin contracts gave me a hell lot of more money then I ever needed. Armor and weapon were not needed since I unlocked Master Assassin Armor, Dracula's Sword and the Sword of completing all Mercenary Challenges

    I found that my trophy did not pop until I had returned to Constantinople. I was starting to get nervous but perhaps the game needed that to set up the final cut-scene, as the trophy popped as soon as I was back.

    after beating the game and getting all other trophies I bought all the books in istanbul and then made abaout 350.000A then replayed sequence 7-2. I bought the books before continuing the mission and the trophy pops up AFTER you finish the mission and come back to istanbul

    I had got all others books except the Cappadocia ones, then i replayed memory 1 sequence 7, i bought the 4 Cappadocia books but trophy did not popped. After a while (i had not finished the memory yet) i selected "abandon memory" from the menu and when the game finished loading and went back to Dna menu Trophy finally popped. I hope it helps someone in my situation. I think i have the latest patch of the game (playstation plus keeps all my games updated regurarly).

    i was gunning for this. but sadly i did not get it. i am not replaying the game over again to get it. this game is the buggy's of the trilogy(not 3) i have odd or just plain annoy bugs in the game where i have to die just to go the next part of quest

    I'm at Sequence 6 with about 1.7M coins. I suggest you spend all your cash to restore Constantinople to 100% as soon as you can. I always get these boring optional stuff out of the way before I emerse myself into the story.

    I found a fast way to profit money while waiting for your bank to receive its 20 minute installments! Go to Grand Bazaar and make your way towards the Piri Reis location. Enter and head towards the craft station. Dismantle all bombs then exit. The speak to Piri Reis and sell everything. Then exit the building. Outside there is a Black Market bomb salesman. Approach him. Buy the product in this order Fill 1 Fill 2 Fill 3 Fill 4 Fill 5 then buy these two again Fill 4 & Fill 5 Then make your way to Piri Reis again and access the craft station. Dismantle all product! Then go sell to Piri Reis again. You should profit 5000A each time you do this! I went from 84000A to 223000A in a matter of 1 Bank installment. 20 mins = Roughly 180000A

    Trophy didn't work I have 1 .04 installed I'm fucking over it... I had to delete 1. 04 mid game for the bomb glitch which probably fucked this one up only if I could load an older save file... Any ideas?

    With the latest patch installed (no idea which), all you have to do if they are all bout is quit the game completely, go to start up screen and load the game, load up your save and it should pop up! Hope this all helps ;-)

    It didn't pop for me until I exited the replay I was doing in order to get the books. sequence 7 memory 2 replay. YIPPY!!

    Just a note - this trophy doesn't seem to be buggy so much as unclear. A lot have found that the trophy doesn't pop until they either reload the game or return to Constantinople. Since the trophy says *Collect* all available books, it would seem they need to be collected, or gathered, at Constantinople. Thus, returning via the DNA menu, to Animus Island, or taking the boat back to Constantinople seems to trigger the trophy happily. I can't prove this out myself, of course, but it would make sense given the group experience thus far.

    If you’re doing this endgame (or don’t use bombs), sell your bomb ingredients to Piri Reis (guy you get bomb quests from, at the market). I sold off full stacks of everything while farming and got 30-40k.
