Introduction:

By day, Abby is a start in the circus, traveling from town to town and entertaining the masses with her trusty bear, Urs. By night, though, Abby is a cage-dwelling prisoner, not allowed to leave and fed only apples and scraps. After a particularly good show that even the Ringleader acknowledges was one of the best, Abby decides she's had enough and makes an escape. Together with her Narrator friend, she'll need traverse the open world while trying to stay hidden from bandits paid to hunt her down. This is only made more tedious as she is still connected to puppet strings that prevent her from moving freely and binding her to the rules of the Narrator. She'll need to break them if she wants to escape and truly be free.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through the game while going for the miscellaneous trophies

Save for 2 trophies, all of the miscellaneous trophies can be earned as you progress along the main path (no backtracking). You can't get Animal lover trophy_bronze.png and Scaredy-cat trophy_bronze.png together so will need to reload a chapter to get one of those. You'll also need to do a tiny bit of backtracking for Riot trophy_bronze.png. Everything else will be easy enough to get as you play along. If you get stuck on any section/puzzle in the game, a full video walkthrough (including the trophies) has been provided under Together we are not alone trophy_silver.png

The trophies will unlock in the following order:

18 trophies ( 15  3  )

  • Practice your throwing skills - left and right!

You will get this near the beginning of Act I.

When you first start the game, you'll make your way right and eventually have to make your way across a tightrope. Just after this will be a gentleman with a basket of balls and two targets; one on the left and one on the right. You need to pick up a ball (r2.png), aim it with rs.png at the center bullseye of target, then throw it (r2.png). You need to hit the bullseye on both targets for the trophy to unlock but you may have to hit them a few times for them to register.
  • Make sure the bear is well fed.

You will get this in Act I.

When you reach the section with the bear and the ringleader, you'll need to use some apples to lure a bear away from the ringleader's hat so you can get it. Before you do, pick up and toss 8 apples at the bear's feet and he'll eat each one. After the 8th apple, the trophy will unlock.
  • Finish Act I.

This will unlock after Abby escapes the circus and is on her own. If you're having any issues with any section in this Act, please see Together we are not alone trophy_silver.png for a full video walkthrough of the game.
  • Enjoy your newfound freedom.

You will get this in Act II.

When you start Act II, you'll run right with Abby and will come to a wheat field shortly after. In the middle of the field is a lone tree with a bench just to the right of it. Interact with the bench to sit on it and this trophy will unlock.
  • Play through Act II without falling into the water.

You will get this throughout Act II. There are 3 sections you'll come to where you have to jump over/cross some water. If you jump into the water, Abby will flail around and you'll respawn at the start of the section. If you miscalculate your jump, your feet may go in the water but you'll be able to pull yourself back up. Both of these scenarios count as falling into the water. You need to make it past all 3 sections without Abby's feet touching the water period. If at any point she does go into the water, you'll need to restart the entire Act to get this trophy. Restarting a chapter won't work.
  • Finish Act II.

  • Play fetch with the dog until he is happy.

You will get this in Act III.

After you complete the coffin puzzle, you'll come to a house with a dog outside barking at you. The Narrator will put you on a box, after which you'll need to climb onto a crate, then onto a broken ladder hanging on the house. When you do, you'll break the bottom peg off. Pick up this peg and throw it. The dog will go fetch it and bring it back to you. Throw the peg 4 more times (for a total of 5) and the trophy will unlock.
  • Really get on a villager's nerves.

You will get this in Act III.

Immediately after the section with the dog for Childish trophy_bronze.png, you'll climb over a fence and find yourself in a small area with some houses that are far from welcoming. In the middle of these is a bell. Interact with the bell 3 times and one of the villager's will grunt at you in annoyance. When he does, the trophy will unlock.
  • Attract the attention of the bandits three times without getting caught.

You will get this in Act III.

As you make your way through Act III, you'll eventually reach a carnival where you'll need to sneak past a few bandits. When you reach this section, there is a cart of apples on the left that you need to push over to the right (you have to pull it first so you can get behind it). Push the cart past the 1st guard but stop at the 2nd one (the one just to the left of the bell). Place the cart so it's in the shadowy-area and carefully push it just a little bit into the bandit's light, then pull it back. If done correctly, he'll become startled and will look around a bit but won't actually investigate. Do this a total of 3 times to get the trophy.
  • Finish Act III.

  • Riot

Riot on the stage of the fourth act.

You will get this in Act IV.

You'll need to do a little bit of backtracking to get this one. At the start of Act IV, get Abby back up on her feet and make your way to the right. You'll eventually reach a scaffoling but on the ground just to the left will be a tipped over crate of rocks. Pick up one of the rocks and bring it all the way back to the start of the Act. When you reach the stage area, throw the rock and the small green plant hanging on the left side. When it falls down, the trophy will unlock.
  • Annoy Tonda and the bandits.

You will get this in Act IV.

After you make your way up the scaffolding, you'll eventually make your way through a cave and then up a ladder. When you get to the top, you'll be back outside and the Narrator will mention that Tonda has "entered stage left". Go right just a little bit to find a ballista/crossbow. Interact with this to fire a single arrow at Tonda and his gang. When it lands, the trophy will unlock.
  • A few more barrels than necessary....

You will get this in Act IV.

As you progress through Act IV, you'll come to find yourself in a boat crossing a less than calm lake. A whirlpool will appear that will have some planks of wood and 2 barrels swirling around. You need to position your boat so it knocks 1 of the barrels near the whirlpool, causing it to fall in. This will stop the whirlpool for a few seconds but don't cross over yet. Wait for it to start back up again and knock another barrel in. Repeat this 2 more times (for a total of 4 barrels) and the trophy will unlock.
  • Finish Act IV.

Secret trophies

  • Free the wolf.

You will get this in Act II. You can't get this trophy and Scaredy-cat trophy_bronze.png together so will need to reload the chapter for whichever one you didn't get first. Reload the chapter "Trouble At The Hunter's Lodge" to go back to the section where this is earned.

As you progress through Act II, you'll eventually reach a Wolf that's tied up next to a bridge that you need to lower. For this trophy, you need to free the Wolf. Lower the bridge and cross over it to find that there is a cart in your way. Using the chain behind the cart, pull it back to the bridge. Lower the bridge again and pull the cart across it, all the way to the post that the Wolf is tied up to. Let go of the chain and Abby will automatically put the hook on the strings tieing the Wolf down. Push the cart towards the bridge but don't lower it. Let the cart fall into the hole and as it does, it'll snap the strings attached to the Wolf, allowing it to run free. When it runs off, the trophy will unlock.
  • Leave the wolf to his fate.

You will get this in Act II. You can't get this trophy and Animal lover trophy_bronze.png together so will need to reload the chapter for whichever one you didn't get first. Reload the chapter "Trouble At The Hunter's Lodge" to go back to the section where this is earned.

Lower the bridge and cross over it to find that there is a cart in your way. Using the chain behind the cart, pull it back to the bridge. Lower the bridge again and pull the cart across it but stop before you get to the post the Wolf if tied to (watch the bridge - when it starts to lift back up, stop pulling the cart). When the bridge is up, push the cart into the hole. Lower the bridge again and cross over to the newly opened path. Because the Wolf is still tied up and you're unable to help it now, the trophy will unlock.
  • Free Tonda from a thread.
