Problems with the digital version: It looks like there are some major problems with the PSN version of this game: LINK so bear this in mind if you decide to get that instead of the retail one.

EA Sports bring us his new title from the incoming FIFA World Cup Brazil 2014. The game is fresh and has a bunch of new game modes which will keep you playing for a while in your road to the . The main menu is very colourful and has the same type and options from the latest Fifa titles. You can move between menus and inside each menu you can select another sub-menus with the stick.

The game has just one trophy and it's online, the big grind will net you 4 and the rest are just some of them really unfair. You can find some black glitchy loading screens but almost all of them are easily skippable by pressing any button many times. In some cases you will need to quit to the XMB and load the game again, this issue occurs randomly when simulating but if you find this issue, the game saves the last progress you did so you won't lose much In average terms the game is pretty fun and enjoyable and, if you are a real soccer fan, you should find a big challenge trying to this one.

Step 0: Moving Sliders

Before start to earn any single trophy, it's highly recommend to change some sliders in the option menu. Doing this will help towards the road of many game modes doing your progress a bit easier. Also it's recommend to play all game modes in Professional difficulty with the sliders modified you will find many trophies much easier.

From the main menu go to Customise, Settings, Game Settings and change these:

Press to save. You can keep the rest of the sliders on Default, it really doesn't matter.

In "Story of Qualifying" mode you need to complete challenges, such as score 3 goals with same player with 16 minutes remaining in the game and/or concede no goals. Some of them are very tricky playing even in the easier difficulty and will take more than a couple of tries and some others are very short and easy.

Story of Finals mode is playable only in single player but you need to be connected to PSN so these 3 trophies are online. In these game modes you can unlock the following trophies:

FIFA World Cup™ Winners

Win the FIFA World Cup™ in any offline mode
Pretty straight forward, the objective is to choose a country in FIFA World Cup Mode preferable and go through the group stage and playoffs reaching the championship match and win it. In total you need to play 7 games (3 matches in group stages, 1 match in round 16, 1 match in the quarter-finals, 1 semi-final match and the final match).

For faster results, select Spain and sim all the way until you reach the final stage. Simulating with Spain will guarantee reach the final stage 4 out 5 times you sim without playing any single match. You need to play the game on any difficulty with the sliders adjusted and 4 minutes if you wish. Make your way to score some goals and the trophy win pop at the final stats. Tip: Make sure you save just before you play the final match so you can look for the other trophies related if you miss some of them. See Nail Biter for more information.

Europe Qualifier

Qualify as a team from Europe in Road to the FIFA World Cup™ or Captain Your Country modes

From the main menu, go to the Play menu and choose the Road to the FIFA World Cup sub-menu, select Spain as your team and sim all the way the schedule until you reach late 2013 and the trophy will pop. Preferably you should choose the "Fixture Type Real" option.
Asia Qualifier

Qualify as a team from Asia in Road to the FIFA World Cup™ or Captain Your Country modes
This is just like Europe Qualifier but you need to select Japan as your team.
Oceania Qualifier

Qualify as a team from Oceania in Road to the FIFA World Cup™ or Captain Your Country modes
If you didn't notice, FIFA Australia is no longer in the Oceania zone; they moved to Asia so for this trophy you need to select New Zealand and sim all the months until late 2013.

This is the only zone which demands to play two playoffs matches against a CONCACAF team so once you reach November 2013, you will notice those two matches. You can sim the first and play the second one scoring many goals to be sure, you will get the ticket for Brazil 2014 and your trophy will pop once you return to the team’s schedule.
CONCACAF Qualifier

Qualify as a team from CONCACAF in Road to the FIFA World Cup™ or Captain Your Country modes
This is just like Europe Qualifier but you need to select Mexico or USA as your team.
South America Qualifier

Qualify as a team from South America in Road to the FIFA World Cup™ or Captain Your Country modes
This is just like Europe Qualifier but you need to select Argentina as your team.
Africa Qualifier

Qualify as a team from Africa in Road to the FIFA World Cup™ or Captain Your Country modes
This is just like Europe Qualifier but you need to select Ivory Coast as your team.
Concede No Goals

In the 2014 FIFA World Cup™ Finals get to the R16 without conceding a goal - Semi-Pro or higher

This is a very easy trophy with the sliders adjusted. Make sure you select Semi-Pro or higher difficulty. Simply play the first 3 games in the group stages, score at least 3 goals and keep the ball for the rest of the match and do not concede a single goal in all three matches.

You can save your data after every match if you want to be safe.
Landslide

Match the biggest margin of victory in FIFA World Cup™ history - Win by 9 goals in single player

Select FIFA World Cup mode, select your desire team and start the tournament. You need to win a single match by 9+ goals difference, this means you can win 9-0, 10-1, 11-2 i.e if you adjust the sliders you won't have any trouble at all. In a 4 minutes match you can score like 10 goals in the first 20 minutes in the first half.

For better results select Semi-Pro difficulty or higher and you will unlock Shoe In For The Boot and Man Of THE Match in the same road. The trophies will pop once you return to the final stats.
A "Braziliant" Performance

Match the record set by Brazil in 1958 by scoring 5 or more in the final - Semi-Pro or higher
This is another easy trophy when you have the sliders adjusted.

You need to change the difficulty to Semi-Pro or higher and needs to be done in the final match of the tournament. Simply score 5+ goals totals with the same or different players and the trophy will pop in the final stats menu.
Shoe In For The Boot

Score 5+ goals with a single player in a FIFA World Cup™ match - Semi-Pro or higher
For this one you need to score 5 or more goals with the same player in any match in the tournament. You can attempt these two trophies at the same time you go for the Landslide trophy.
Man Of THE Match

Score a hattrick in the FIFA World Cup™ final - Semi-Pro or higher

A hattrick is when one single player scores 3 or more goals in the same match. Please see the Shoe In For The Boot trophy for more information.
Lead Your Nation

Become Captain in Captain Your Country
For this trophy you need to reach the number 1 ranking in your team's roster overall. This occurs after playing games and scoring goals having a great performance. For faster results is recommended to start your CYC with some Oceania country such as New Zealand. They have the shortest road to the World Cup. Make sure you select your difficulty to Semi-Pro or higher before start the CYC and adjust the sliders. To reach number 1 spot you need to play like 8-10 straight game.

Tips:
- Just score 3 goal with your player each match and hold the ball the rest of the match.
- You start at 45 place and if you have a great performance after every match you will grow 3-6 positions.
- Make sure you save your CYC progress just before starting the World Cup tournament, just in case you miss some trophy.
- Take care that you don't miss the Boyhood Dream trophy as it's Highly Missable.
Once you reach the number one position, the trophy will pop immediately.
Class Act

Score 13 goals over the course of the FIFA World Cup™ Finals – Semi-Pro or higher

This trophy is like Landslide but you need to score 13 goals with the same player in the whole tournament playing on Semi-Pro difficulty or higher. You have 6 matches max to score them but with the sliders adjusted you can easily unlock this trophy in your very first match playing in a 4 minutes match.
Nail Biter

Win a FIFA World Cup™ Finals match by way of a penalty shootout - offline only
You can't unlock this trophy in the Kick Off menu. There are two ways to unlock this trophy: The legit way versus the A.I. or the faster way with a second controller. Select FIFA World Cup mode, pick Spain and sim all your way through all stages until you reach the final match or use the save you did for the FIFA World Cup™ Winners trophy. Once in the team selection turn on your second controller and pick the other team, when the game starts be idle in both controllers until the match ends, repeat for the extra periods and the shootout will take place. Score every penalty shoot with your main controller and fail all with your second controller. The trophy will pop in the results screen as soon as you win the shootout with your first controller. If you don't have a second controller, you can't unlock the trophy by boosting online so you need to play against the A.I.

Make sure you have a save before the final match. Play on the easier difficulty and hold the ball for both halves of the match, do the same for the extra periods and once you reach the shootout do your best to score and stop the A.I shoots. If you win the match you will receive the trophy, if you didn't win then reload your save and try it again. It won't be hard at all if you know how to shoot properly.
Guess What Mum!

Make the first squad cut in Captain Your Country
Playing CYC, your coach give you some days before each team’s cut, the first cut is in 6 days and you need to be in the 43rd position or better in your team's ranking. Keep using the tips from the Lead Your Nation trophy and this one will be easy. Also, you could unlock it by just simulating the first weeks.
Pack Your Bags

Make the final 23 in Captain Your Country
Missable

You need to get inside the 23 in the team's roster. This trophy will unlock late in 2013 after simulating and playing games in your CYC run. If you sim many games you can get cut of the main team, you will miss this trophy. Just keep an eye in your Rival's ranking and play games if you are too low in the rating standing.

Keep using the tips from the Lead Your Nation trophy for easier and faster results.
Playmaker

Get 10 assists with your player in Captain Your Country
An assists in many sports like soccer is when you pass the ball to your team-mate and he score the goal, you don't receive credit for the goal but you will receive credit for an assist. You need to get at less 10+ assists with your CYC player across all the Schedule. With the sliders adjusted you can unlock this trophy in the first matches.

Man Of The Match

Earn Man of the Match in a Captain Your Country game on Semi-Pro or higher
For this one make very sure you start your CYC in Semi-Pro difficulty because if you start your CYC in Beginner and in the Game Options you change the difficulty to Professional the trophy won't unlock. If you are following the tips for the Lead Your Nation trophy, you will be earning MOTM award in many games so it won't be a big problem to achieve this one.
Boyhood Dream

Win the FIFA World Cup™ as the Captain in Captain Your Country
Highly Missable

To unlock this trophy you need to win the World Cup with your CYC team and you must be Captain before the championship match starts! If you reach World Cup tournament and you are facing the very first game in the group stage ranked at 4 or more rank, you will miss this trophy! That’s because you can hardly increase more than 2 ranks once you are in the tournament.

The advice is once you reach the number 1 rank in your coach's team rating it's very, very important you hold the first 3 positions until the real World Cup starts. Hold the 1st position before the tournament starts, this means you need to keep simulating and playing games taking care in the rival's positions. The tournament starts on June 12nd, 2014, you need to keep track of your personal ranking before simulating or playing the next game.
Perfect!

Get 100% of the point target in an adidas miCoach training drill in CYC, RTWC or FWC mode.
These two adidas trophies can be done in any of this three game modes but is much better to do it in CYC mode meanwhile you play multiple matches with your CYC player.

Once you are playing CYC mode you will see your team's schedule, every day is market with some colors, such as blue, green, orange and some others, for this trophy you need to select any training stage marked with orange in the schedule. A menu will prompt and you will need to pick the desire training lesson to complete. The main objective is to achieve 100% of the points needed in that specific training. The easier lesson to play is called Passing - Mini Nets. If you can't pick this lesson press a couple of times and the game will change the lessons. This specific training lesson requires to achieve 5,000 points with 12 shoots, if you hit every shoot you can gain around 8,000+ in the lesson so you still can miss some shoots and still reach the 5,000 points required. Remember in this lesson you need to hold to shoot the ball to the farthest nets, press half hold for the nets in the middle or press fast aiming in the nearest nets.

If you miss the lesson or you didn't reach the point target, then you can still re-try the lesson another 3 times. Make sure you achieve the 5,000 points this time and you will receive the trophy. The trophy will pop once you return to the team's schedule. If you still didn't reach the target after your 4 tries, then don't worry because the team's schedule has like 30-40 more training days to retry this trophy.
Practice Makes Perfect!

Complete 10 adidas miCoach training sessions in CYC, RTWC or FIFA World Cup modes

Like the "Perfect!" trophy, it's best to do this in CYC mode. Select all the training lessons in the team's schedule (orange dates) complete them all and after your 10th, the trophy will pop. You don't need to win all points in all lessons, you can even fail them all, you just need to complete them. Also you can keep selecting the same lesson in the subsequent days, they don't need to be 10 different lessons.

The trophy will pop once you return to the schedule.
Stole The Show

Have your player win the Golden Ball in Captain Your Country

For this two trophies you need to be the best scorer in the whole tournament. If you follow the tips for the Lead Your Nation trophy you won't be have any issues to earn this trophies. Once you win the cup in CYC in the final stats you will be prompted to move to the Awards screen, if your name appears twice there, once for Golden Ball and once for Golden Boot. You will pop those trophies right here.
World Traveller

Reach 50% of completion or more at least in 3 FIFA regions in Story of Qualifying

Conqueror

Complete all scenarios (major objectives) in all 6 FIFA regions in Story of Qualifying
There are 54 total challenges across 6 regions in this mode, each regions has different challenges and you need to complete at less the main objective in all of them.

You need to buy the Extras scenarios through EA catalogue, buy Spain which is the "easier" and complete all 8 challenges there. Every scenario costs 300 coins. You will find a bit tough Pedro's challenge, the rest of them are pretty doable in one or two tries maybe.
Legendary Effort

Complete one or more scenario in Story of Qualifying on Legendary difficulty
This one isn't as hard as it sounds, here are a couple of easy options:

Oceania scenario
Match: New Zealand vs New Caledonia
Objective: You need to score a goal in the last minute.

Spain extra scenario
Match: Spain vs France
Objective: You just need to hold on the ball for the last 5 minutes.

Remember to select Legendary difficulty in the menu.
Group Stage Maestro

Complete all group stage objectives in Story of Finals on any difficulty

You can earn this trophy in this mode playing only single player but you need to be connected to the EA servers to load up the mode so they are Online. For this trophy you just need to complete only the main objectives for all the scenarios in the real group stage in Brazil 2014, this includes 48 challenges, one per match.
Reliving Every Moment

Complete all scenarios (major objectives) in Story of Finals
You can earn this trophy in this mode playing only single player but you need to be connected to the EA servers to load up the mode so they are Online. Just complete the main objectives for all scenarios in this mode, the additional objectives aren't needed.
The Moment of Glory

Complete the Final match (major objective) in Story of Finals on World Class difficulty or higher

This is one of the hardest and most difficult trophies in the single player portion of the game. Thanks to jadaou for ponting out this tips:

Just to summarize in case people still can't get this trophy:

Even though the trophy description says "Major Objective", you DO need to complete all 3 objectives on World Class or higher difficulty. So this means you have to:
1. Win the game
2. Score 3 goals with Messi
3. Score 4 goals in total
Note:
For Objective 2, Messi must score 3 goals (at least).
For Objective 3, Argentina must have a score of 4 (at least). Messi's three goals (from Objective 2) will count towards the 4 plus any other goal to give Argentina 4 (even an own goal by Germany counts).

It doesn't matter if Germany scores or how many they score as long as you meet the three objectives above (I got the trophy winning 5-3, and Messi scored all 5).

You can also make things easier for yourself by turning off offsides and standing at the top of the German penalty box. Keep having your team lob long passes to you and then score. Argentina is strong enough defensively to keep Germany contained enough for you to win.

This trophy is online only so you can't unlock it playing it offline, it's one of the biggest challenges in the entire game by far is playing it the legit way The best method is to find a boosting partner in the Boosting Thread: LINK

Important: Rio de Janeiro Cups doesn't count in the road for your 5 cups so you need to win all 5 cups online in this mode. You can use different teams, this means you don't need to win all 5 cups with the same team.

There are two boosting ways to choose:

Self-boosting (you need two PS3s systems and two copies of the game).
Human Players needed: 1
Accounts Needed: 6 total
Time to spend in each cup: 3-4 hours
You need 15-20 hours.

Boosting with a partner:
Human Players needed: 2
Accounts Needed: 4 each (8 total)
Time to spend in each cup: 3-4 hours
Both of you need 5 cups each so you both need 10 cups total (30-40 hours)!

How to boost the Online Cups:
- Once you pick a team you can't change it until you get eliminated, win the cup or delete the tournament selecting .
- Your progress remains on the EA servers, you can't back up your progress to a USB drive, this means if you lost any matches in any stage after the group stage then you'll need to start the whole tournament again.
- You can match with your partner every time as long as you are in the same stage and you both are using teams with the same stars, different stages are unmatchable.
- You don't need to delete your friend from your list as that doesn't matter, the matching still works.
- Both players need to start in the same stage, group stage preferable and try for the Better Than Your Average and The Competitive Friend trophies in the same road.
- For better matching results both needs to change the matching to Manual Controller.
- Synchronize each other by pressing the search button by PS3 chat or by PS4 voice party if both have it.
- You can see who is your rival very easily: Once you are loading the match and when you are in the Arena scoring goals against the goalkeeper, press the button and go to the Meeting Players option.
- If you see a random name there, quit the game through XMB before the kick-off and you won't be penalized.
- After the kick-off, some of you need to quit the match after the 5 minute mark.
- The official FIFA Online World Cups boosting schedule is available to help keep tracking your progress through all your alternate accounts. Download the file, select the page you are going to use (Self-boosting or Boosting Partners), type in the yellow cells the names of all your accounts and print it. You can download it here: LINK
Important:
Once you reach the final match with your partner, the person who wants the trophy needs to stay in the pitch and the other needs to quit after the 5 minute mark. Doing this even in the final match will guarantee earning the cup and the trophy buy not taking any risk in some sudden disconnection. Do it, it's recommended, we already tested this and it works! The trophy pops once you return to the Online main menu and not after the match ends.

Very Important:
If for some weird reason you win the cup and the trophy didn't pop after you return to the Online menu, do not start the tournament again else you will mess it up. Instead, go back to the Main menu, quit the game and restart it. The trophy should pop now when you re-enter to the Online menu again viewing your last tournament results.

You can see your personal progress in the Standings located in the Online FIFA World Cup menu. The legit way off course is doable but you need to be Lionel Messi himself and we can't guarantee you success every time.

Better Than Your Average

Beat the Community average finish with a 0.5 - 2.5 star team

This trophy is unlocked via the "Online FIFA World Cup" option inside the Online menu.

Once you are facing for the very first time this mode you will be required to choose your desire team before start the Online tournament. For this specific trophy you need to choose any team with 0.5 - 2.5 stars, if you choose a team with more stars the trophy won't pop. After you choose it and before going to the matching menu you will see at right of the screen 2 statistics showing the Best Finish vs Community Average. For the trophy you need to beat it, that's all.

Let's say you choose a Luxemburgo with 1 star, the Community Average should show something like this:

This means your target is to score more goals (2) and/or receive less than (5) but only in the Group Stage.

How can you beat these statistics?: You need to play at less two matches in the group stages and complete the task. After you complete this two matches or worst scenario the third match and doing the maths you will either receive the trophy or you won't.

For better and faster results, boosting is the way to go so head to the Boosting Thread: LINK

If you are boosting then you will earn this trophy pretty easily and quickly after the 2nd match in the Group Stage selecting a 1 start team. If you do not receive the trophy and you are playing legit then you didn't beat the average, maybe you receive more than 5 goals and score only 1 goal in each match. You need to do it better next time.

For this trophy you need to have at least one friend have played the Online FIFA World Cup mode at least once. Once your friend has played this mode he will be in your Standing, let say he reached 16's stage and he lost quarters, well then you need to reach and win the quarter-finals match and win it. If you do this then after you complete the mode, winning the cup or not (it doesn't matter) you will receive the trophy once you return to the Central Menu inside the Online FIFA World Cup mode.

For better and fast results you should have a friend which didn't reach the 16's stage, this means he lost all 3 games in the group stages.

If you don't have any friend with the game you have two options:
1. Add someone from the Boosting Thread: LINK
2. Creating an alternate account in your PS3 and add it to your Friend List (recommended).
If you decide to create an alternate account then you need to start Online FIFA World Cup mode, start all three matches in the group stage and quit them all after the 5 minute mark.

Win the FIFA World Cup™ in Road to Rio de Janeiro mode

This mode is Online too and is like the Seasons mode in past FIFA games, you need to win games through all cities, reaching the World Cup and win it. For better and faster results, boosting is the way to go so head to the Boosting Thread: LINK. For each win you will receive 3 points, for a draw you will receive 1 point and for a loss you don't receive anything. There are 30 points available in every city but you only need to win a few of them to reach the next city.

Here are the cities, the points needed to reach the next city and the wins/draws you need to aim (recommended):

1st city: Manaos
Points needed: 5 in 10 matches
Wins recommended: 2
Trophies unlocked: Gotta Start Somewhere, We're Movin' Now and Mr. Perfect.

2nd city: Cuiaba
Points needed: 6 in 10 matches
Wins recommended: 2
Trophy unlocked: Mr. Perfect (if you didn't earn it in the 1st city).

3rd: city: Porto Alegre
Points needed: 8 in 10 matches
Wins recommended: 3

4th city: Curitiba
Points needed: 9 in 10 matches
Wins recommended: 3

5th city: Brasilia
Points needed: 10 in 10 matches

After you reach the 18 points needed in the final city you will receive the trophy, you don't need to play another extra game.

How to boost Rio Janeiro mode:

The boost in this mode is very easy, here is how it works:
- You can match with your partner every time, you don't need to use any alternate account at all.
- You don't need to delete your friend from your list, it doesn't matter, the matching still works.
- Both players need to start in the same city, the 1st one is preferable.
- You can find your partner as long as he is 2 cities ahead or behind you, this means if you are in city 5 and your partner is in city 1 or 8 then you can't be matched with each other.
- For better matching results both needs to select teams with the same stars, 1 star teams is much better and change the matching to Manual Controller.
- Synchronize each other pressing the search button by PS3 chat or by PS4 voice party if both have it.
- You can see who is your rival very easily: Once you are loading the match and when you are in the Arena scoring goals against the goalkeeper, press the button and go to the Meeting Players option.
- If you see a random name there, quit the game through XMB before the kick-off and you won't be penalised.
- Both players need to trade wins, preferable 2 wins each for the Mr. Perfect trophy, after both have the trophy you can keep trading single wins each.
- After the kick-off one of you needs to quit the match after the 5 minute mark, that's enough.
- Do this until both reach the 11th city.
- In the 11th city you will want to start using the Free Wins that you can buy in the Catalogue, they are huge advantage.
Important:
Once one player reach and win the Rio de Janeiro Cup, he will return to the 12th city again, this means he now can help the other player winning his trophy. So you need to decide which is going to be first.

Keep in mind if you have a lot of coins from previous FIFA games you and your friends can spam Rio Draws and Wins and extra games to keep things moving at a faster pace. Seems like you can toss them around fairly quickly.

Example:

Account 1: Buys and then Buy the same as Gifts 3 Rio Wins and a 3 draws.
Account 2: Gets the gifts and sends them to back to Account 2, Account 1 now has 6 wins and 6 draws.

etc. etc. The higher your EA Level is, the more chances to unlock more Rio wins.

This Means if you have enough friends you can spam your way to the higher cities with ease. I swear this must be a glitch right now because a spare account I had that was level 4 in Fifa was able to send back all the gifts I sent to him. I was sending a Level 25 gift to him and he sent it back to me.

This trophy is much better to try in the first two cities when you need to win only 2 matches. If you want to unlock it fast, you can buy a couple of Free Wins in the Catalogue and your trophy will pop automatically. Thank you to Rawra for pointing this out.

If for some reason you reach the 12th city and win the cup and you still don't unlock this trophy, you can still do it but you need to lose 5 games in a row until you go back to the 11th city again, then win all games here (6) without a lost. This mode can't be deleted and you can't start from the 1st city again so this is the only way to go if you missed in the first two cities. Do yourself a favor and unlock it as soon as you can.

Use a quick team set piece during a match
This is a very easy trophy. In any match wait for a corner kick or free kick then before you shoot it, click on the D-pad. Now select any kind of play with and execute the kick, the trophy will pop right away.
Everyone's Invited

Score a goal on Beginner difficulty
This is another easy and fast trophy, go to the Play menu and select Kick Off. After selecting your teams, change to Beginner difficulty in Match Setup then start the match and score a goal. The trophy will pop immediately and you can quit the game if you wish.

Purchase your first item in the EASFC catalog

Simply go to Football Club option in the main menu, select Catalogue and buy something. The cheapest items are the Videos which cost 100 coins. The trophy will pop right away.
