Introduction

 

This game is like Cabela but without weapons to kill animals. It's a good adventure game that you'll enjoy playing. Trophies are only story related and collectibles + one level up trophy which doesn't take more than an hour. It has 5 episodes + a training episode making the game 2 hours to complete. Enjoy the adventure with the guy named Bear who tries to survive those episodes.

 

Road To Platinum

 

 

Step One: What you need to do in this step is finish the game and get all collectibles. Also do your best not to pass out in any episode to get a gold trophy, it's not hard at all. When you finish use chapter select to get any missed collectibles and also replay any episode that you passed out in.

Step Two: Now go to episode 2 and start finishing it over and over to get fast points to Level up.

Locate all of the Gold Rush trash in the Rockies.

 

Gold Rush trash are man-made equipments like shovels, barrels... etc. There are a total of 9 that you must collect.

Locate all animals of interest in the Rockies.

 

There are 4 interesting animals in episode 1. These are the Snake, Sheep , Tiger and Moose. The last one will be when you first slide down the hill after you climb the mountain; go right and slide down instead of left.

Locate the rare plants in the Rockies.

 

Rare Plants are the colored plants like Orange, Purple... etc. There are 4 of them that you have to find for the trophy.

There are 6 junks in this episode; those junks are like toilet seats and barrels, one is real hidden somewhere in the swamp is hard to find.

Find all of Bob McClure's boats in the Everglades.

 

Those can be found in the water. There are 6 boats and they're really easy to find.

There are 8 animals in Everglades that you have to find. Two might be difficult to locate. One turtle is inside a tree that you have to search and the other turtle is when you first reach the swamp area go right until you find some flowers that fills you with water, go to its right and you will find the turtle. Find all the animals to get the trophy.

Reach the Level 'Bear Grylls.'

 

Points needed to reach Level Bear Grylls: 8,000 points

 

After completing all episodes you should have over 3000 or 4000 points, repeating the second episode can net you 2000 points in 15 min by fighting all animals so that will be the fastest way to grind or you can go to episode one or three and do a good stunt then reach a checkpoint (checkpoint happens when there is an arrow on the bottom left corner of the screen) then restart by pressing the button. You have to reach a checkpoint for it to count.

Complete all episodes without passing out.

 

GLITCHED

 

After beating the game the first time restart any chapter that you passed out in. Passing out comes if you :

 

- Got killed by a Bear, Shark, Alligator or Tiger.

- Got passed out by the hot weather or steam cave.

 

You have two bars on the top left corner, a blue one and a Green/Orange one. The blue one is for thirst and you can restore it by drinking. The other one is for any other harmful stuff and can be restored by eating.

You can reload from the last checkpoint if you are quick enough to press and select restart from checkpoint before the animal. If a screen came out saying continue or exit, then you died and must restart the whole chapter.

3-5 hours, thats it? GameFly just shipped this. I decided to give this a shot and luckily for me, if it's a bad game, I won't regret only wasting a few hours.

 

How difficult are the collectibles going to be without a guide?

Nice guide, wasn't gonna bother playing this but a 2 difficulty and 3-5 hours will make a nice quick Gamefly rental and some trophy whoring.

Just called my Gamestop and they don't even have it in stock yet. I'm gonna check Blockbuster tonight and see if they have it by chance but I doubt it. I just can't see myself paying even $30 for a one night game. I bought Megamind for $25 but I traded it in for $25 too so it turned out to be cheaper than renting. I want to play this but Iunno if I want to buy it lol. Anything included if you buy?

duck360, may contain spoilers for anyone that hasnt played it. But i need help 360. Im at the very last part of the game where you ride the horse to the train. at the part where you press R2 to hold it on green dot, when guy does his balance, he automatically falls off without letting me balance him. Doesnt even give me a second to balance him. Not sure what im doing wrong. What do you do on this last part. Been stuck on that part alone for like a hour. restarting checkpoint over and over.

Im having a little trouble with the All God´s Creatures trophy, after I finished the Everglades 4 times I always end up with 7 of 8 animals found..

 

Do you or anyone else know the complete list of all the animals for this bloody trophy? any help would be apreciated because thats the last trophy I need to get platinum.

I just finished episode 2 and the game is easy. I got a little lost in the bog or swamp, whatever it's called but so did Duck, apparently if you follow the video, lol

Just picked this baby up today. If it's truly a 2-5 hour plat or whatever I'll finish it tonight but I doubt that. Got the last copy at Gamestop today. Gonna plat it over the weekend and put the trade in credit towards Motorstorm Apocalypse

I've managed to miss some collectibles that are dramatically going to increase my plat time. I follow the guide but somehow I am missing one of them in each level. It's easy miss the character in the guide quickly picking up an item and moving on.

 

If I get ambitious I may go and mark the time in the video each collectible is picked up.

I can't stay balanced once you start to stand on the horse. I have no issues with the but the balancing is a bitch.

 

*edit* I finally got it. Just needed to hold slightly left on the left analog stick to remain balanced.
