ROAD MAP

Overview:

+ Estimated Trophy Difficulty: 4/10 (My Estimate)

+ Trophy Breakdown: 9(B)-3(S)-1(G)

+ Approximate Time To 100%: 5-10 hours

+ Minimum Number Of Playthroughs Needed: 1

+ Missable Trophies: None

Step 1 - Play through the game:

For this step just play through the game for a first time. Don't concern yourself with getting gold medals on every level. You should be able to get gold on most but if you find yourself miles from the gold requirement just leave it and carry on. Make sure to build new monsters every so often as you will be unlocking alot of new parts as you go and having the best monster possible will help alot. You should also create several monsters for different type of levels. Destruction and Race event have very different requirements for doing well so having monsters that specialise in one or the other will help you out. During this step you should get some easy trophies like "I Wonder What's for Dinner", "Creature Feature", "Disposable Heroes" & "Monster Games". You'll also get "Mwuhahahahaaa" for completing every level.

Step 2 - Go back and get gold medals:

Now you should go back and earn all the gold medals you missed. You should have unlocked alot of monster parts now so be sure to create the best monsters you can. The earlier levels should seem alot easier now with upgraded monsters. Doing so will get you the "Domination" trophy. Once you've done that you will be able to go and get the "Inspector Monster" trophy.

Step 3 - Clean Up:

After completing the game with all golds you will probably still have some trophies to finish off. Trophies like "Twinkle Toes", "Monster Modelling School" & "Demolition Master" may have popped while playing but if not go and grab them now. Also go into multiplayer mode to get the "Monster Mash-Up" trophy. The last two trophies will probably be "Megabucks Monster Club" & "O.C.M. (Obsessive Compulsive Monster)" as they are the two hardest trophies in the game. Leave them until after step 2 at least since you will be able to create the best monsters possible to make the trophies easier.

TROPHY GUIDE

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/03.jpg(B)Disposable Heroes

Lose 10 monsters in the course of play.

This is an easy trophy that you don't have to worry about as it will come naturally through playing the game. You just have to die 10 times and it will pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/04.jpg(B)Megabucks Monster Club

Cause over $850,000 worth of property damage within a level.

Property damage is displayed in the score breakdown at the end of a level. It's not the score in the top right corner while playing, though it does make up most of it. Maximum destruction is the best type of level for this trophy and the one I used was "Banking Crisis" in the "Central Commerce" group of levels. Any with a gold medal score of 750,000 (The highest) could work if you want to try different levels. You will need to create a powerful monster for this so it's best to wait until you have unlocked most of the parts by playing through the game and getting gold medals. My monster had 2 rail guns for arms which I found to be very effective and the damage stat was almost maxed out. Other than that it's just about going nuts at all the buildings in the level. I made a video to give you a better idea.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/06.jpg(B)Monster Mash-Up

Compete in a multi-player game.

You can do this on your own with one controller. Just go to multiplayer in the main menu and start up any level. At the player select screen press start and select a monster with your controller. Then press the ps button and reassign the controller to number 2 and select a monster for player 2. Start up the game and play to the end and the trophy will pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/08.jpg(B)I Wonder What's for Dinner

First time monster eats.

Another easy trophy, you'll be doing alot of eating during this game. In the very first level, which acts as a tutorial, you will be told to eat a cow. The trophy should pop just after you do.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/09.jpg(B)O.C.M. (Obsessive Compulsive Monster)

Totally destroy every building in a level.

This can be quite a tricky one. I did it on the very first maximum destruction level "Industrial Strength" in the "Industrial Zone" group of levels. You will need to create a powerful monster for this so it's best to wait until you have unlocked most of the parts by playing through the game and getting gold medals. Be sure you destroy every building completely. You will see the "Building Destroyed!" message when you have fully destroyed a building. My monster had 2 rail guns for arms which I found to be very effective and the damage stat was almost maxed out. Along with them make sure you do alot of stomping to get rid of any small piles of rubble. I made a video to give you a better idea.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/10.jpg(B)Monster Games

Run over 1000m, throw an object over 50m in a single throw, and jump over 50m in a single jump. All in one level.

This is pretty straightforward. Running 1000m in a level wont be a problem. For the other 2 you can jump 50m pretty easily but it your monster isn't any good at jumping you can jump from a building or get one that is good at jumping. You will see a "Long Jump!" message when you do a big jump. For the last part pick up an object such as a car and throw it to finish of this trophy. This all has to be done during one level.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/11.jpg(B)Twinkle toes

Complete a race level and cause less than $50,000 worth of damage.

You'll want to create a specific monster for this. It will be useful to have for all race events as well. Pick parts that increase stats like speed and jump while keeping stats like damage to a minimum. I got it on the level "Around the Houses" in "The Suburbs". Just try to avoid all obstacles as much as you can. Also make sure you stick to the same route for each lap.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/12.jpg(B)Inspector Monster

View every monster part in the Monster Lab.

First you'll need to get the "Domination" trophy for getting gold in every level. This will unlock every monster part in the game. Once you've done that go to the monster lab in the main menu and for each section of the monsters body cycle through every available part to get this trophy.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/13.jpg(B)Creature Feature

Make your first monster.

Head over to the monster lab in the main menu and create yourself a monster. Just pick the parts you want for each section of the monster and once you are finished the trophy will pop.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/Z32.jpg(S)Mwuhahahahaaa

Complete all missions in every level.

For this trophy you just have to complete every level in the game with at least a bronze medal.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/05.jpg(S)Monster Modelling School

Build and use 6 different monsters in the game.

Creating a monster is easy and you should be making new ones every so often anyway as you unlock more powerful parts. Once you have 6 monsters you will need to use them all to get this trophy. Just swapping them into a game for a minute wont work. For the game to consider them used you need to play at least a level with each of them.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/Z34.jpg(S)Demolition Master

Destroy 100 buildings.

This will come naturally while playing. For the game to consider a building destroyed you will need to completely destroy every part of it so that there is nothing left on the ground. Even a small pile of rubble will count. The game will display when you have destroyed a building as orange text saying "Building Destroyed!" will come up from the ground where the building was.

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/859/02.jpg(G)Domination

Complete all missions in every level with all awards.

For this you need to complete every level in the game with a gold medal. Most of the levels are pretty straightforward. You will be constantly unlocking new parts as you progress through the game so be sure to use them on your monsters as you get to the harder levels further in the game. Also don't spend too long trying to get gold on a level if you are quite far off. You can come back to it after you have finished the game with a more powerful monster and it should be considerably easier.

GOLD MEDAL GUIDES

I'm not really sure how many I'll do of these since the game Isn't very popular or anything but I was asked to make one for a level and thought I might as well make a place for it. So If there are any levels you are really struggling to get a gold medal on and you think a video could help just ask and I can try and make one for it.

WILL ADD THE PROTEST LEVEL VIDEO SOON

Thanks I can wait for your video. It's definitely the hardest level in the whole game. And it's even the last Gold Medal on my list and last two parts too. :) Your guide helped me out a lot.

for ocm, do the level "staying alive" i got it first try with time to spare. you get 4 minutes and tons of people to eat to stay alive and the enemies arent heavy.

i tried doing the first level like the guide said and wasnt even coming close to finishing it.

i mashed the rail guns and run around hitting tallness down and then start doing a jump stomp as im shooting both rail lasers.

this guide is almost useless. it doesnt tell which is best equipment for various modes, doesnt tell how to get parts (missions priority order), how to cause max damage (which attacks to use against who/what), etc...

Agreed...

The back part Time Slide Pack, which is earned in the very last mission, Comeuppance, gives you the ability to slow time, making both OCM and Megabucks Monster Club pretty trivial.

Before that, my favorite build and the best one I made was double Railgun with minimum Power Use. Don't remember what the other parts were, but I focused on minimizing the Power Use, which I had at 50%. I never failed to get gold with that build.
