Voting Guidelines

  1. Do not vote unless you have played the game.
  2. Do not vote until you have dedicated a substantial amount of time towards the game.
  3. Do not vote based solely on the descriptions from the trophy list.
  4. A time consuming game does not necessarily mean a difficult game so vote accordingly.

    Examples;
    • Warhawk is time consuming and difficult.
    • Resistance 2 is time consuming, but not difficult.

It may not be as 'hard' as the LBP create trophies but it seems like they will produce less h4h clutter (the obvious work around to spending countless hours making a level that people would play and heart enough to get you a trophy without getting freebies). So I definitely approve, and hell maybe some people will have my attitude (if they are going to make me spend lots of active time on it I may as well make a real level!).

Having a lot of things tied to story levels is also nice since hopefully it will reduce trophy level spam.

Can't wait for my precious to get here. I ordered it online and am regretting it. Of course I will forget about how much of a 'boy on Christmas night' I am being when I get my hands on it tomorrow.

Too bad I had today off and do not have a day off again for 9 more days! :mad:

I don't understand people rating the platinum when they have played the game for like under 5 hours if even that... You may not now how hard levels there could be in the last part of the game and then you have to ace them (just remember The Bunker, lol).

I don't rate it yet. I rate it when I get it myself or when I am very close to getting the platnum. But so far I'd say a 6 because of acing all levels, collecting all the prize bubbles (needs 4 players for many of them), acing 10 levels in a row (may be easier than it sounds, dunno), 24 hours of active creating (even tho' I'll get this trophy without even trying because I love creating), etc.

I agree completely. No one should be rating this or even posting in this thread until they have at least aced all levels. I agree that the Create & Share trophies have been made easier this time around, but this wasn't the only reason the first one was rated a 6. Aceing a few of the levels was indeed difficult.

Please everyone, do the forum a favor and wait to post here until you have at least aced all the story levels.

There are some easier and some harder or at least time consuming but no one mentioned the "ace 10 levels in a row". That one has got to be tough, unless it's the same level.

And the one thing that kept me away from platinum the first were the collectibles. They're not hard to find, especially with a guide but man, I hate searching for cryptic stuff in about 90% of the games. Same thing with ACII. I probably did it in Uncharted 2 because I took my time between 3 playthroughs with a good amount of time between them.

I think for your "average joe" this game will be a 5 or 6. I ended up rating it a 5. I was actually able to plat the game in four days (read through my guide and you'll see how). Of these four days, I'd say about 25 hours of them were actively playing and even then only 15 - 20 hours of that was playing through, acing and 100% the story levels.
