Introduction

It‘s been eight years since Sly has been out and we welcome him back. This time Sly and his gang come bearing trophies and a platinum. This game will only take one playthrough, making the Platinum that much more rewarding. Most of the trophies will come from opening the vaults, while others will come from defeating bosses. Opening the vaults will help you learn new techniques. There are no difficulty levels or trophies, making the platinum a one shot deal. Sly’s parents were Murdered by the Fiendish five so Sly ended up going to an orphanage where he met his close friends Bentley and Murray. Sly is searching for the missing parts for his family's book (Thievius Racoonus) and nothing will stop him for getting the missing pages and restoring the book. While most pages will come from opening the vaults, the rest will come from defeating bosses. Sly runs on lives alone with no health bar so getting hit once can lead to death, so watch how you make the jumps and press each button.

Step One

This is where the battle begins. First open this Bottle Locations Guide on internet capable device. Following that link during your first playthrough will net you all the clue bottles. Please be advised that some vaults are in the beginning of the level so you have to track back down to the beginning or just start the level over after finding all the clue bottles. The other trophies are story related and will come during your quest for the Thievius Racoonus so there is no need to worry about how to obtain them. I have included a way to defeat each boss and the buttons you will be pressing during their battles. If you need video assistance to find the clue bottles here is a link to

's playlist for this game but do note that the items he finds in the video will not be the same ones you find in your game.

Note: Some of the trophies will pop up in a different location if you are going for the clue bottles and vaults before beating the game. If you have found a technique in the later chapter than the one described, the one that should have for example been in chapter 4 will be in the chapter 3. One Vault cannot be opened until you beat clockwork, so you will need to go back and then open it. I have underlined the level in each chapter that you will earn each non story related trophy, whether it be a technique or a blueprint. You will find a blueprint in the third level you play in each chapter.

Step Two

You may not need this step but if you missed a few bottles and trophies, then you can go back to each Map to collect anything you may have missed via the hideout. Happy hunting.

Defeat Sir Raleigh the Frog

Story related. Cannot be missed. The section is called The eye of the Storm. You will need to find all seven keys before proceeding, after that you will need to use all seven keys on the cannon.

[spoiler=hjsdk009]

This is a Frog battle on his turf which is extremely easy. First off he only bounces up and down for his first 3 hits he takes.

  1. The first time before you hit him he will jump up and down five times before he deflates and you can hit him with the cane.
  2. The second time there is only one platform, the other platforms go into the water. You have to make sure you don't get hit at all until he deflates again. He only jumps fives time before you can hit him again.
  3. The third time when he bounces and leaves a platform, that same platform falls into the water and you have limited time to get to the next platform. He jumps from platform to platform trying to hit you six to nine times before he deflates and you can hit him.
  4. The last and final time there is only one platform. He sticks his tongue out and swings it in a circle so you have to jump over his tongue, so you don't get damaged or die. He goes in a circle about 5-6 times before you can hit him. Here is a video on the fight with Sir Raleigh the frog. Skip to 1:30. Credit to MyGameCube2 for making the video.

Defeat Muggshot

Story related. Cannot be missed. In order to fight Muggshot, you need to find all seven keys. Then go up to the mouth of Muggshot's tower to learn how to use those keys.

[spoiler=Blankash]

Use the glass diamonds as cover to not get shot by Muggshot.

  1. During this fight with Muggshot you have to flip Mirrors. The first floor is pretty easy, just follow it clockwise until all 8 mirrors are flipped and shinning on the glass in front of it.
  2. The Second floor is full of gaps but the floor still has 8 mirrors you need to flip. Take it the same way, clockwise and jump over gaps, while dodging shots from Muggshot.
  3. The last one is a small circle where you have to jump and land on points and then flip the mirror. This can be a little tricky, but still manageable. Wait until Muggshot takes a few shots at the mirror and as soon as he stops flip it and proceed to the next one until they are all flipped. Muggshot is in the middle on a platform. Its all about patience. It starts at about 2:00. Thanks sevinup07

http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/612/25.jpgPandas Aren't Always Cutehttp://www.ps3trophies.org/images/site/icons/trophy_silver.png

Beat Panda King

Story related. Cannot be missed. In order to fight Panda King you need to find all seven keys. There are seven different sections in China so you can get a key from each one.

[spoiler=op09]

Panda King has 4 different moves

  • Fiery Wheel

This is his second most used attack. He will use this when you are close to him. You can jump and attack him once he starts to swing his hands below your feet and his hands have fire coming out of them.

  • Flame FU

This is the attack he uses the most. He will shoot a set of fireballs at you until you are close enough for him to use melee attacks instead. Refer to the move above that he will use often for a melee attack.

  • Palms of thunder

He slams his hands to the Ground.

  • Homing Chop

Uses one hand and hits the Ground.

Once you have done enough damage he will bounce you back to the bottom of the steps where you will have to dodge Flame FU (Fireballs). You will now have to climb back up to Panda King. This is pretty easy just watch where the fireballs are going and use the statues for cover. Just your average fight once you get close to him, swing your cane at him and watch for the above attacks so you don't get hurt.

Here is a video. It starts at about 1:00 Thanks goombablood for making this video.

Defeat Clockwerk

Story Related. Cannot be missed. This is a three part battle so be ready.

[spoiler=poopioopoio]

  • The first battle. You and him are in the air; you get a hoover pack to use that has a set of guns on it. First things first you need to wait for Carmelita to shoot her shock pistol at the specific part of the bird. You still have to dodge any shots he shoots at you. This is how it goes:

  1. The head
  2. The feet
  3. The tail
  4. The right wing is last.

Clockwerk falls into the lava and comes back up for another round.

  • The battle starts again and you have to go through the rings he shoots at you so you don't get damaged, After the fourth ring you go through Carmelita shoots her shock pistol and you can start hitting that part of the bird with your guns. This is how it goes:

  1. Pass through four rings and start shooting at the left wing.
  2. Pass through four rings and start shooting at the head of the bird.
  3. Pass through four rings and start shooting at the right wing.
  4. There will be a time that you will have to harm the bird a fourth time.

Clockwerk falls in the lava again, but this time in the middle of the level.

  • The last section is about you running towards the bird that is stuck in the lava. Follow the path given and after you get to the Clockwerk's head start hitting it until Clockwerk's life goes down. The trophy will pop at the cutscene after you defeat Clockwerk. Thanks to StoneMonkWisdom for making the video.

Collect all clue bottles in any level

There are 20-40 bottles in each section of every chapter of the game. The bottles are made of green glass with a white letter poking out of the top. There is a question mark on the bottle as if it were a label. You will find them spinning around in circles in fixed locations. You will find your first one in the first mission after the prologue. All you have to do is find all the bottles in one section of the chapter so if you play through the section A Stealthy Approach and find all 20 bottles, the trophy will pop. Finding all the bottles in each area can be difficult so follow this Guide by solstice: LINK

also, try to design it so that you CAN get it all in one playthrough, and be as spoiler-free as you can about it (level names and character names are ok, boss names can go either way, depending on the name/boss. plot points are definite spoilers)

don't assume that it would take 2, make it so that it doesn't!

where the hell is the vault for A Rocky Start (1st part of 2nd chapter). been through that stage 3 times and cant find it. what am i missing?

I added that info to the Guide i had a problem with it to, It right after the first Car crusher, Jump on the line above the gold car that has the lucky charm.horseshoe on it.

Nice Godchild. The guide looks OK, I realise that it's a work in progress though. Alot of the trophys need more information. And remember that you're aspost to tell people where you unlock a certain trophy even if it's story related.

Im going to add that info,i just want to complete the game and get my facts straight before misleading people.

It took me 12 hours, from 2 pm to 2 am. I was on and off and left the game on. So my play time was 8 hours, and i was just go back cause I missed bottles which took maybe an hour in a half. so my estimated time will be 8-12 hours with this guide it might take less if you follow the Bottle locations guide to get the clue bottles.

@ Whiteclone I submitted them all already.

@LeeorV Say you start at 12pm and you follow the Bottle locations guide, you will get all the trophies and platinum by 8-9 o'clock pm.

I played the game blind to see if i remember anything, While putting in info that i wouldn't remember. Nothing hard. Depends on your skill and memorization

But good to see someone's starting on the guide right now! Are you going to do the other 2?

As for the other two I dont think so, I need to worry about the first and then see if there is time.

OP, you should really finish up the RDR Undead DLC guide first lol.

Best of luck anywho.

The RDR Undead Guide is done, Just waiting for a Sticky, unless there is something I didn't add. Thanks
