Roadmap

Introduction:

Invincible Tiger: The Legend Of Han Tao is a side-scrolling Kung-Fu fighting game similar to Double Dragon, but as it's added feature boasts, the game can be viewed in 3D. The game can also be played in multiplayer with a friend or someone online, which is definitely more fun than anything else. The game itself is pretty good and will test your skills a little, while some of the trophies will test your nerves and patience. Most of the trophies are straight forward relating to completing the game, doing kills, healing, playing co-op, and doing the misc variations of the levels. The main hard trophies in the game are linked to boss fights and completing specific pre-requisites during them, which can be a pain since if you mess them up the first time, than you have to replay the entire stage to get back to them which is a headache of a grind. Trophies aside, Invincible Tiger is a fun beat'em-up title that will keep you entertained (especially with a friend by your side).

Roadmap:

Step 1: Complete One Play Through of The Game

- Play though the entire game making sure you that you aim for as many of the misc trophies as you can during it. After you finish the game you will earn Inquisitiveness Of The Monkey, Patience Of The Pig, Nobleness Of The Dragon.

Step 2: Get the Co-Op Trophy

- You only have to play and finish 1 level in co-op mode. You can either use a second controller or you can do it online with a partner. If you need help finding a boosting partner, you can use the Trophy Boosting Thread. Once you finish the stage in co-op mode, you will get Loyalty Of The Dog.

Step 3: Play Endurance Mode

- Start a game in Endurance Mode and make sure to last for more than 10 minutes without dying. Once you complete that, you will net Stuborness Of The Horse.

Step 4: Play Time Trial

- Start a game in Time Trial Mode. You are aiming for a "Gold" in it when you finish the stage. In order to get the "Gold", you need to finish it as fast as possible with as high of score as possible as well. Tips to getting a higher score is to die as little as possible & use varying combos so you can increase your multiplier. Once you finally get it, it will net you Righteousness Of The Ram.

Step 5: Cleanup Runs

- Go back to clean up any trophies you don't have yet. Most likely you will have at least Recklessness Of The Tiger & Determination Of The Ox, but make sure to go after any others as well. Once you finish them all up, enjoy your 100%!

Complete the Old House

This is the very first stage of the game. You can complete it on single player or Co-Op mode. Once you finish all 14 chapters of stage 1, the trophy will pop! If you need help finding a co-op partner, you can use the

Trophy Boosting thread to find one.

Get a Time Trial gold

Once you beat the first stage, you will unlock Time Trail in the main menu. You will only be able to do time trial on the stages you have beaten (so at that point, just the first stage). Select Time Trial and than do "The Old House" stage. The goal is to beat the stage in the fastest time possible with the most amount of points (use multipliers with kills and avoid dying) for the highest ranking you can get. You must get "Gold" in the attempt for the trophy to unlock. You do this in co-op mode as well with a boosting partner, but you get less time to complete it. If you need help finding a co-op partner, you can use the Trophy Boosting thread to find one.

Survive 10 minutes of Endurance Mode

Once you beat the first stage, you will unlock Endurance Mode in the main menu. You will only be able to do endurance mode challenges on the stages you have beaten (so at that point, just the first stage). Select Endurance Mode and than do "The Old House" stage. You do not have to do anything other than survive for more than 10 minutes in it. Make sure to keep moving around to avoid being hit and using your meditation if when needed to heal. Easiest way is to get down to only one enemy on screen and then climb the vine next to the circular door (where you start) and then drop back down there when the enemy comes up after you, than repeat once he comes back down as he won't hit you than. After you make it 10 minutes, the trophy will pop!

Complete a Co-op level

Play any level in Co-Op mode and once you complete it, the trophy will pop! You can either do this online by finding a boosting partner in the Trophy Boosting thread (extremely hard to find someone playing this title normally now) or use a second controller for the 2nd player. If you use a 2nd player and don't have anyone to use it, don't worry, just let him die off and than play normally, (but realize that when he dies you have no lives left yourself and have to buy extra lives if you die with points).

Defeat every enemy type

It is not missable unless you don't finish the game. You will get this trophy just by playing through the game as all the enemy types appear throughout the game and you will be required to kill them in order to progress further in the game.

Use every Combo

You must use every combo at least once while playing the game. Easiest to do right at the beginning of the game. To see the list of combos and a description of each, pause the game, go to "Book Of Knowledge" and select Combos (it's the second card).

Here is a quick list of them:

Standing Combos

Mantis Kick: :square: :square: :triangle:

Lotus Rain: :square: :triangle: :triangle:

Fist of Knowledge: :triangle: :triangle: :square:

Dragon's Vengeance: :triangle: :square: :square:

Crouching Combos (Holding Left Stick Down)

Serpent's Snare: :square: :square: :triangle:

Fire Monkey: :square: :triangle: :triangle:

Ancestor's Fury: :triangle: :triangle: :square:

River Of Fate: :triangle: :square: :square:

Use a Smart Bomb

In each chapter, there are guys with a mask symbol above their heads. When you defeat them, you get the mask. Take it to the dragon statue in the area you are currently in and press :circle: to deposit it there. Do this 3 times total and after you deposit the last one, press :r2: to use a smart bomb and make the trophy pop!

Throw 30 barrels

Barrels are found throughout the game in all the different stages. To pick one up, stand next to it (must be shimmering to be picked up) and press :circle:, than :square: to throw it. Do this 30 times and the trophy is yours! Does not have to be done in one game as it is cumulative.

Die 100 times

Simple as that. Just die 100 times for the trophy to pop. This trophy is obviously cumulative.

Have 10 vampires active at once

This trophy can be a pain in the butt and you will need patience to get it. You will do this trophy during the boss fight at the end of the 3rd stage. You need to run around the area hitting bells in order to make the boss vulnerable to your attacks. There will be black ninjas also running around as well that you have to watch out for too. Once you start chipping away at the bosses health, he will start to "convert" the ninjas into vampires (giving himself a health boost in the process). In order to get 10 vampires active at one time, you need to keep avoiding them by jumping around so that they won't attack you or each other (they have weak health so they can kill each other) and keep trying to attack the boss only to keep his health extremely low so that he will keep converting ninjas to vampires. Best advice I can give you is to stay on the middle & right sided high platforms and when the enemies start making it to you location, jump towards the other area and quickly get back to the top, all the while making sure to hit the bells when they become active. With the bell all the way to the left, make sure you hit it and run away from there as fast as possible or else you can get caught there and either you or the other enemies will kill each other. Once there are 10 active at one time, the trophy will pop.

Unleash Hyperstate while at less than 5 percent health

This one can be tricky to get your health to below 5 percent without dying. I would suggest doing it on the first stage. Get your Yin-Yang meter all the way full and then get yourself down to 1 enemy left in the area. Let him hit you until you health is basically gone (barely a sliver of health left) and then hit

:r1: to activate Hyperstate. It might take a few attempts to get your health right where you need it. The trophy will pop right after you do it correctly!

Use meditation 100 times

This will probably come during your time playing the game as meditation is used to regain health. To use meditation, you must have charged your Yin-Yang meter at least a little and than hold down :l1:. You can boost it if you want by just using meditation to get a little health, stop, and then redo it. After the 100th time using it, the trophy will pop. This trophy is cumulative and can be done through multiple games.

Complete the Waterfall level without getting hit by a single fan

Well first and foremost, good luck with this one as this one isn't easy and can be extremely frustrating. The 2 bosses in the Waterfall level throw fans at you as one of their main attacks. You must avoid EVERY one and not get hit at all by the fans. They vary from throwing the fans low & high, but it's easiest to just jump over them both. Keep your distance so you can jump around over them and still give yourself enough time to land and jump again. As soon as they float across the room at you, jump over them and run to them to do damage. Eventually once one takes enough damage, they will switch places and the "hurt" one will start to meditate to get health back. You need to climb/drop to them and hit them asap to stop that, but be careful because you will only get one attack off on them at that point and then they will get ready to start attacking with fans again! It's easiest if you just stay on the bottom as it gives you the most room to work and climb to the upper level only to stop them from healing, then drop back down. You have to defeat both of them without taking "fan" damage for the trophy to pop!

Complete Story Mode

Description says it all. After you beat the final boss and complete the main game, this trophy will pop! You do not need to beat the bonus stage in order for it unlock. This can be done in single player or co-op mode. If you need help finding a co-op partner, you can use the Trophy Boosting thread to find one.

Defeat 5000 enemies

This one is a pure grind and will take replaying various stages after you complete the game in order to achieve. Just keep playing and killing enemies until you eliminate your 5000th enemy for the trophy to pop. This trophy is cumulative obviously.

Perform 50 finishing moves

As you progress through the game, you will unlock cards in your Book Of Knowledge on the bottom row that are your finishing moves. When you look at them, the describe the finishing move, but don't really tell you how to pull them off. Eventually though you will get one that once you beat on your opponent enough, a button will appear above their head and you just have to hit that button for it to perform a finishing move. While that is the easiest method, you will end up doing some of the other finishers without even realizing it as there's a throw one I've done numerous times and have no idea how I did it, but just did. You may have to go back and replay a stage or two in order to get 50, but just keep grinding away. Once you do your 50th one, the trophy will pop.

Kill 200 Stone Warriors in 1 game

In the final stage, during the boss fight you will encounter Stone Warriors. If you drop down to the lowest level of the stage, the boss will follow you down there. Once he does, return to the top level of the stage and just keep fighting the stone warriors as the boss should remain on the bottom level and not follow you up (if he does some how, than repeat the process again). Keep killing stone warriors until you finish off 200 of them and than the trophy will pop!
