Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty: 5/10 (Trophy Difficulty Rating)
  • Offline trophies: 16 (11(B), 5(S))
  • Online trophies: 0
  • Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2-5hrs (personal opinion) (Estimated Time to 100%)
  • Minimum number of playthroughs: 3, one for each mode.
  • Number of missable trophies: 1 - Gnawer Chief (S)
  • Glitched trophies: No
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?: No
  • Do trophies stack?: No
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No cheats available.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through Hustle Mode and always use Jumper Hamster

If you do rubbish in a level then restart it, because you might not have 500 seconds left after finishing all the levels. If you can, do Long Legged Marsupial (B) and Flying Squirrel (B) on Speedrun II.

Trophies you should get in this step:

Guinea Pig (B)

Flying Squirrel (B)

Long Legged Marsupial (B)

Prudent Chipmunk (B)

Gnawer Chief (S)

Familiar Beaver (S)

Step 2: Play Stunt Mode

Get all keys if you can, but it isn't necessary to do on the first time through as it takes around 20 minutes to complete the mode. Again, make sure you restart every time you do bad (most likely on the 'Odd' level). If you're having trouble with the keys, check the link in the Rodent King (S) trophy or check on YouTube but they aren't that hard to get.

Trophies you should get in this step:

Typical Rat (B)

Rodent King (S)

Step 3: Play Trial Mode

NOTE: These levels are the same as Stunt Mode. Play every level until you get the Watermelon times; look for shortcuts if you fall off a couple of times. Vermin Champion (S) is probably the hardest trophy. If you haven't played a game like Super Monkey Ball this could be pretty hard. It shouldn't take too long overall, but some of the levels are annoying. Don't give up and you will do it, trust me.

Trophies you should get in this step:

Field Vole (B)

Vermin Champion (S)

Step 4: Cleanup

You should now have 6 trophies to go. First, you should play 'Night Bounce II' to get the Naping Dormouse (B) and Funky Rabbit (B) trophies. Make sure you use Spiky on all these levels so you can eventually get the Restless Cavy (B) trophy.

Next, do any of the bonus levels so you can go through 15 rooms to get Curious Talpa (B). Now you should just have 1 or 2 trophies left, definitely Super Porcupine (S) and maybe Prairie Dog (B). If you don't have Prairie Dog (B), then go for that first. Super Porcupine (S) isn't hard if you know what you're doing.

Trophy Guide:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/01.jpg Guinea Pig (B)

Complete all non-bonus levels in Hustle Mode.

This isn't hard. All you need to do is to complete all levels in Hustle Mode, which will will take roughly 90 mins of gameplay. The hardest levels for me were the gravity levels. There are 33 total levels (don't know if that includes practice levels).

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/03.jpg Typical Rat (B)

Complete all levels in Stunt Mode.

This was harder for me than Hustle Mode. It only takes about 20 mins, since there aren't very many levels to do.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/05.jpg Field Vole (B)

Get Apple Award in all Trial Mode levels.

See Vermin Champion

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/08.jpg Flying Squirrel (B)

Make an incredible long jump and land successfully with "Jumper" hamster.

This can be done on the Speedway II level (the icy one). Just before the spot where there are many mechanical arms trying to kill you, jump from the ramp and safely land (should be on the left road).

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/09.jpg Long Legged Marsupial (B)

Reach an unreal speed with "Speedy" hamster's ability.

Do the same thing as the Flying Squirrel trophy but use Speedy instead.

NOTE: You do not have to land for this one. thanks to satnamji for this info.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/10.jpg Restless Cavy (B)

Destroy 150 obstacles with "Spiked" hamster throughout the game. Trophy statistics are counted for completed levels only.

This could take a while but the easiest way is to use Spiky all the time (once you unlock him) in Hustle Mode. If by the end of that mode you don't have the trophy, just keep playing through levels. I found the level after Bounce I to be the easiest.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/11.jpg Prudent Chipmunk (B)

Win a level with 55000 score points.

This isn't too hard, as you should get it before completing Hustle Mode. I did this on Gravity I.

Tips for maximizing your score:

1. Get more pigs

2. Finish levels quickly

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/02.jpg Gnawer Chief (S)

Complete Hustle Mode with more than 500 seconds in Time Pool.

When you finish a level, the extra time goes into your Time Pool and you need more than 500 seconds total over all the levels in Hustle Mode to get this. Play a level and if you think you can improve on your time, restart the level close to the end as you will already know the way.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/04.jpg Rodent King (S)

Find all "Locks" in Stunt Mode.

To get this trophy you need to find all the green "Locks" in Stunt mode but the hardest one to find for me was on the second level, as that one is behind the back wall as the 8ball tries to kill you. If you're having trouble finding the locks, check this thread: LINK

Credit to Minarum for the Lock locations.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/06.jpg Vermin Champion (S)

Get Watermelon Award in all Trial Mode levels.

This is probably the hardest trophy in the game. Complete Stunt Mode to unlock Trial Mode levels, then get Watermelon times on all levels. What I did was play one level at a time until I got Watermelon. This may cause some frustration as some of them are pretty hard but don't give up.

The Watermelon times are like a medal time to beat, except each tier is a different fruit. There are four of these, ranging from Peach (easiest) to Watermelon (hardest). It says what time it is at the top of your screen and also after you complete the level, it also shows your fastest and most recent times.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/07.jpg Super Porcupine (S)

Defeat 6 opponents in single match in Sumo Mode.

This is not to knock 6 opponents out of the ring but to beat 6 opponents in a game. First of all, make it an 8 player game and 'camp' so you don't get knocked off and you will get points but do note that this will also work with just 2 players. Thanks to footlesssushi for the tip.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/13.jpg Familiar Beaver (S)

Complete all non-practice Hustle levels with single hamster type.

What I did was unlock Spiky, then went back to the Bounce I level and completed the game with him. NOTE: This doesn't include the bonus levels, since they are hard to navigate the first time you play them.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/14.jpg Prairie Dog (B)(H)

Roll 200000 meters (656168 feet) throughout the game in any single player mode. Trophy statistics are counted for completed levels only.

Easily done, just finish Story Mode once (all 3: Hustle, Stunt and Trial). You should then be at about 170000 meters so just work on the other trophies and you will eventually get it.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/15.jpg Naping Dormouse (B)(H)

Roll through 10 phantom bridges in "Night" levels. Trophy statistics are counted for completed levels only.

To get this trophy, you have to roll through 10 phantom bridges in the "Night" levels. On your first playthrough, you should get about 6-7 bridges depending on your routes so just play 'Night Bounce II' twice more and this will be yours.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/16.jpg Funky Rabbit (B)(H)

Make 20 catapult jumps in "Bounce" levels. Trophy statistics are counted for completed levels only.

To get this trophy, you must make 20 catapult jumps in the "Bounce" levels. I just played Bounce I a lot. My friends and I were doing a 'Time Trial run' on that track and I just got it.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/469/17.jpg Curious Talpa (B)(H)

Visit 15 rooms in any single "Labirinth Bonus" level.

This can be hard but overall it's not bad. Firstly, finish all the levels, then go to level select. Go to the bottom of the page - there are two time trial levels there. Play these. After your first few tries trying to complete the level you should know your way around, so the next time you play just go into every room you see. I did this with 23 seconds left so it's not too hard.

NOTE: You do not have to do the levels first but I would advise you to so you have more time.

Thanks for the guide. This really helped me get these trophies quickly. A couple of things that might be worth mentioning:

Familiar Beaver actually popped for me after I finished the last non-bonus Hustle level. I didn't have to do the bonus levels to get it as the guide states. In fact I only did the first bonus level until Curious Talpa popped--I never even finished the level (couldn't figure out how to get to the end, lol).

Also, while the guide states you have to successfully land the jump for Flying Squirel, I didn't have to successfully land for Long Legged Marsupial.

I was actually surprised about Long Legged Marsupial because I was having trouble getting it to pop (on the Speedway II jump), figuring it was because I couldn't land it. Then on the last attempt, I made sure I was really getting tons of speed (pressing X to get Speedy's boost) going down the ramp, and then it popped though I missed the landing again.

Also regarding Curious Talpa, it probably wasn't clear from my previous post, but my point about that one was it popped immediately after I accessed the 15th room in the first bonus Labrynth level though I never got to the end of that particular level (never found the "Goal" at the end before time ran out). It did however take me several attempts exploring that level until I found all 15 rooms. Is there even an end to that level? I just kept going around in circles it seemed--even following the arrows.

Also, what's the best level for farming Restless Cavy? (I completed Hustle with Jumper.) I know the guide says Bounce I is the easiest, but which one do you think has the most "fences" to bust through regardless of difficulty?

restless cavy is awkward, and if u read carefully it says the level after bounce 1, sorry if its inconvient but i cant actually remember the name of it. i think u can get that after about 10 times.

What i did was firstly unlock Spiky. Then I went back to the Bounce I level and completed the game with Spiky. THIS DOES NOT INCLUDE BONUS LEVELS WHICH ARE HARD TO NAVIGATE THE FIRST TIME.

I actually played through every level with the same hamster type, and it didn't unlock. Then I did the two extra levels and it unlocked. I also found those levels to be very easy... they are very short and no hard parts at all, and to navigate it's just to follow the green arrows... o.O
