OnceFallen
http://i923.photobucket.com/albums/ad71/SigniDCaben19/interpol-psn-logo-3copy.jpg Overview: -Estimated trophy difficulty: 2/10 -Offline (breakdown): 12 (8, 3, 1) -Online (breakdown): 0 -Approximate amount of time to 100%: 2 - 4 Hours -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 1 -Number of missable trophies: None -Glitched trophies: None -Do cheat codes disable trophies?: No Cheats Roadmap Introduction: Interpol: The Trail of Dr. Chaos is a fun picture find type of game. The story is you're trying to hunt down Dr. Chaos and his crew by traveling to different cities and searching different areas there for clues by finding items hidden in each location. The game itself is not hard at all, nor are the trophies to obtain. The game can be played in solo or co-op mode as well for added fun! Step 1: Complete One Playthrough of The Game - Just play through the game completely to the end. During this time you should be aiming for as many of the trophies as possible. Your main goals should be to try not to use any hints as you go along for the Just Say "No" trophy, as well as finish at least one mission with Elite Agent rank for the Star Performer one as well. Step 2: Clean-Up - Go back via mission select to clean-up any missing trophies you might have at this point to finish up your 100%! Trophy List http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/09.jpg You Always Remember Your First Complete Mission 3 and capture Mister Smith See "Fourth Down" http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/10.jpg Back for Seconds Complete Mission 6 and capture The Hammer See "Fourth Down" http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/11.jpg Third Time’s the Charm Complete Mission 9 and capture The Artiste See "Fourth Down" http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/12.jpg Fourth Down Complete Mission 11 and capture Dr. Chaos Play through all the different missions to complete the game. All 11 Missions San Francisco New York Hollywood St. Petersburg London Moscow Monte Carlo Tokyo Paris Rome Interpol HQ Each mission consists of 3-4 different locations (some have an additional "Top Secret" area as well) to find items in. You do not need to achieve any specific score or anything, just finish them in the time allowed for the trophies to unlock. Bonus items do not need to be found for this to pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/06.jpg Just Said “No” Complete every non bonus Mission without using any Hints in single mode You must play through every main game mission (see Fourth Down for the list of stages) and complete them without using any hints. This is easiest to do after you've played through the game once, that way you have a better idea where some of the items are, especially in the "Top Secret" areas. Once you complete them all without using a hint, the trophy is yours. Bonus items do not need to be found for this to pop. TIP: The easiest method of doing this is to start whatever mission you are trying to do and keep playing through all the locations until you are down to only ONE item left to find. Once you find it visually, DO NOT CLICK ON IT! Quit all the way back to the main menu screen. Select whatever you were playing before (single or co-op) and reselect the mission you were just doing. When you load it back up, you will have the exact same items to find again in all the locations and since you already know where they are, you won't have to use hints and can get them done very quickly. Do note, though, that bonus items can change locations, so they might be in different spots than they were before! This works 99% of the time (I only had it not work once out of about 15 tries). http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/01.jpg Finder's Keepers Find all Items in a City Location This will most likely be the first trophy you get. You will get this trophy after you find all 8 hidden items and finish your first location within any stage. Bonus items do not need to be found for this to pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/02.jpg Quick on the Draw Find 3 items within 5 seconds You must find 3 different items in a row within 5 seconds of each other. Easiest way to do this is to first find 3 items on the screen (the closer together the better) and then click them in order as fast as possible afterwards. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/04.jpg Not Impossible Complete one Mission This will pop after you finish the first mission (San Francisco). Just find all the hidden items within the amount of time given and it's yours! Bonus items do not need to be found for this to pop. http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/05.jpg The First Hint’s Free Complete one Mission without using any Hints Easy as that, complete one MISSION without using any hints. This is most likely easiest on the first one (San Francisco) as its locations are less messy and easier to find things in. Bonus items do not need to be found for this to pop. Also see Just Said "No" for a tip on making it easier if you are having problems! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/07.jpg Wham, Bam Complete a City Location in less than 30 seconds This one can be a little more difficult if you're not good at these type of games. Just keep replaying the different locations until you start to memorize the locations of the items and it should be easy after that. This can also be done in co-op mode to help speed things along. If you have someone that can play with you, this can be made a little easier in co-op mode. Have one person search for certain items and the other do the rest. Bonus items do not need to be found for this to pop. San Francisco might be glitchy with this trophy, so you might want to try doing it in New York or another location you're familiar with! If you are still having problems with it popping after trying that, delete your save file and try again with a new game, this should solve the problem. (Thanks to Zarkumo for that tip) Also see Just Said "No" for an additional tip on making it easier if you are having problems! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/03.jpg Bonus Plan Find all Bonus Items in one Mission There are 3 hidden bonus items in each location for a total of 9 per mission (Top Secret locations don't have them). Easiest to complete in the first mission (San Francisco) as Mr. Smith's bonus items are joker playing cards. They are in random locations each time you replay a mission! http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/08.jpg Star Performer Earn Elite Agent Rank in any Mission This trophy can be difficult as you need to be fast and precise in order to achieve an Elite Agent rank. Make sure you that hit all items on your first try (no wrong clicks) and find all the bonus items to help your score/time as quickly as possible (aim for under a minute a location). If you have someone that can play with you, this can be made a little easier in co-op mode. Have one person search for the bonus items and the other do the rest. This should help your speed/time and make things a little easier. Also see Just Said "No" for a tip on making it easier if you are having problems! squodge
Some good tips, although I played through without a guide to see how far I'd get - finished it without difficulties, although I feel my eyes have become "boggled"

Zarkumo
http://www.ps3trophies.org/images/trophies/211/07.jpg Wham, Bam (Bronze Trophy) Complete a City Location in less than 30 seconds This one can be a little more difficult if you're not good at these type of games. Again, best place to do this in the first mission (San Francisco) as the items are a little easier to find. Just keep replaying the different locations until you start to memorize the locations of the items and it should be easy after that. This can also be done in co-op mode to help speed things along. OnceFallen
I can beat Fisherman's Wharf in San Francisco under 30 seconds every time, but the trophy never pops. What am I doing wrong? I'm pretty sure you have to complete the whole stage and the trophy will pop after it's completion. I will try it again when I get home here shortly to reverify that, but I know I got my trophy from the San Fran levels.

I will try it again when I get home here shortly to reverify that, but I know I got my trophy from the San Fran levels. I finished San Fran completely, finished two locations in under 30 seconds and one in one minute, no trophy. Do all three locations have to be beat in under 30 seconds? Because the trophy says city location, not mission.

Do all three locations have to be beat in under 30 seconds? Because the trophy says city location, not mission. I just tried it as well and got all 3 done in under 30 seconds each (w/ joker cards) and it didn't pop this time for either for some reason. I tried it in New York after that and it popped immediately, so San Fran might be glitchy getting it. I'd just try it in New York instead since it seems to work without a problem. I'll add that San Fran might not work to the guide. Sorry for the confusion..,

Sorry for the confusion.., The trophy still did not pop up for me, so I double checked with a German trophy board, and here is their solution which also worked for me: delete the save file. After deleting the save file, starting the game anew and finding all items under 30 seconds in Fisherman's Wharf (without bonus items), the trophy popped up immediately. number7isalive
I had to delete the save file too, but I can also confirm that you can use hints to help find the items in under 30 Seconds

Miguel_Zorro
Here are the actual requirements for Elite Agent, to add to the guide. I did this on San Francisco and tested other combinations: My Scores: Time Remaining - 31:34. I thought you needed a time remaining of 31:30 or higher. However, there have been some reports of people getting it with 31:00 left. I think overall, it's based on score. Hints Remaining - 7 (No hints used) Mission Score: 233400. Basically you need to pick up all the wild cards, don't use any hints, and finish the three missions with a time remaining better than 31:00. bettisb
I completed every level without using hints but did not get the trophy. But I went back to stages where I did use hints and re-completed them w/o the hints. Do you have to start a new game and go through stage by stage w/o using them or whats the deal? I'm baffled

lerodemmy
This will probably seem like cheating, but the way I was able to get the harder trophies was to freeze the TV and then pause the game. It gives you unlimited time to look for items.

lerodemmy
Freeze the TV? what does that mean Press the freeze button on the remote. You can then pause the game and stare at the picture without the clock running. I thought I was a genius for coming up with this, but then I saw someone suggested it in another thread a couple years ago.
