You have to start at night and go to the Bantman (not sure about that bar name - it's close to Millennium Tower). There you will speak with the detective. After that you have to visit every person involved in that crime + Kane in a hall in Purgatory and get their statements. After that you go to Cafe Alps and present all the information you gathered.

Chapter 12 is when you can continue Murder at Cafe Alps.

Yes, it's called Premium Story mode and it unlocks after you have beaten the game and have Clear Data saved. Can do every single substory in that mode.

You can still get trophies for finished sub stories in premium adventure mode.

 

Does someone know where I can find the person to talk with in Ryukyu for the "Letter in a Bottle" mission? Thought I can find him/her in the Arcade street near the market. But it seems that I can't find someone who gives me the next hint.

I think you go to the stand that sells the drinks (called Quickly I think), I might be dead wrong but im sure it was right there.

 

You do need the letter first if you dont have it, it's on the beach.

i think i remember it being the store on the corner, right next to there. but yeah, you need the bottle first (and i think you need haruka with you, but not sure)

Ah well I think I screwed it up

 

I've started the mission once during chapter 4. Then I went away and started to finish the playtrough quickly. I remember once that I've moved a lot of stuff into my hideout (also deleted some unused stuff) and that's the big fail because I can't find the bottle from the beach nor the letter. Guess need to try it again on my next playtrough. Just strange that the mission's still in the log even I don't have the bottle anymore

Thanks to ThePatricks awesome guide, I've edited the checklist with more details on with chapter, locations, time etc. where to find the specific substory. More will be updated soon with the correct english names and minor differences on certain substories. I'll keep you guys posted.

Ok I have finished 50 (Part I) substories. Will finish (Part II) the rest tomorrow. Not 100 percent accurate because all of these are based on my own experience and with the help of ThePatrick's guide. All credits goes to him ofcourse. Let me know if you find any mistakes.
