I went with a 2 as I mostly knew how to play Yugioh, which would easily be the most difficult part for a new player. The game does have a good tutorial/solo mode designed to help players learn. Most of this is just a grind. PS5 says it took 41 hours. It's not difficult to get the right deck (plenty of lists out there), and be able to reach Platinum. I got there with the non-meta Toons, which probably slowed down the 100% process.

Biggest problem is the chaining trophy. I had to shape my deck to cater to that trophy. If you have Maxx C, Ash Blossom, and Called by the Grave in hand, you can use Maxx C, then use Ash to negate your own Maxx C, and then use Called to negate your Ash. So you can get there if there's already a chain of two going on, which is fairly common. Really, it's just getting the right cards in hands. And I'm sure some archetypes make getting to five a heck of a lot easier than Toons haha.

Difficulty 5/10

Estimated time 40-50h

I played a lot of YuGiOh back in the late 2000s. I dont understand all the new stuff they brought in 2015-2020 but I can play well.

Reaching platinum rank is easy with the right deck (plenty of lists online, I used Eldlich Deck).

The Chain was also easy. Using a deck stacked with paleo traps and some quick spells, see thread and video here:

https://forum.psnprofiles.com/topic/124237-chain-blazer-trophy-deck-recommendation-for-chains/

For the Ultra Blast (4k damage win), just play some United We STand or Axe of despair spell cards to buff your Eldlich lord monster...

The annoying part is the farming of 100 destroyed monsters, 50 special summons and 100k effect damage.

TIPP: It is probably best to do the platinum rank last, so you play against bronze rank opponents all the time. How to do this? Well, just surrender in every other game, so you dont rank up. Why? Because you cant rank down nicely, only if you stop playing for an entire month :(

Trust me, doing the farming against platinum/gold rank opponents is one of the worst things I have ever done, and is why this took 50h.

Just play the YGO Game that has a platinum trophy, it is way more fun.
