Visage ~ Platinum Walkthrough (Image/Text/Video)

This guide will walk you through the incredible thriller, Visage, all the way until you have a new Platinum in your trophy cabinet. This guide does not use spoilers for any story related items, so a Spoiler Alert is in play for those who have not played the game yet. This guide will provide you with a text/image guide as well as a Video Guide, both of which take the same route as each other so if you want to follow along with both options, you can. 

 

The order in which the Chapters are done are as follows:

  • Dolores
  • Lucy
  • Rakkan
  • VHS Tapes / Mirror Mask / 10 on the 10th

 

 

All of the Miscellaneous and Collectible-related trophies will be completed as we progress through the game so as long as you're following this guide, you should have everything you need for the Platinum at the end. 

 

 

You'll be picking up a lot of items as you play through the game. They'll be color coded to A) break up all the white text a bit for you, and B) to make them easier to find. They'll be colored in the following way:

  • Story Related Items (Tools, Keys, etc)
  • Collectible Items (Matryoshka Dolls, VHS Tapes, Audio Cassette Tapes, and Neighbor Pages)
  • Miscellaneous Trophy-related Items
  • Trophy Unlocks

 

If you're using this guide as more of a spot-checker while you play through the game, here are a few tips to help you on your way:

 

  1. If you find yourself getting killed a lot, you are either going the wrong way or taking too long on any one part. The game punishes you for not doing what you're supposed to be doing, so keep that in mind as you progress.
  2. The louder the music and the more paranormal activity you experience, the more danger you are in. During the Chapters, the spirits can and will kill you.  
  3. The Audio Tapes and Smiley Sticker can only be found in Dolores' Chapter.
  4. You can start collecting the VHS Tapes after you've completed your first chapter, save for Negligence, Pride, and Prison, which can only be found after you complete Dolores', Lucy's, and Rakkan's Chapters, respectively. 
  5. The Neighbors Pages must be picked up in a certain order for them to appear. 
  6. The Matryoshka Dolls can be picked up at any time while you're inside the house save for 3 which are only available during Lucy's Chapter. 
  7. You can get both endings on the same playthrough by making a manual save before whichever one you do first (you should be doing Void first, since the other one requires the Mirror Mask to get). 
  8. All of the trophies are earned during the Story except for (B) 10 on the 10th, which is earned in the Hall of Fame on the Main Menu.

TIPS: "I've lost my Tool/It Disappeared" or "The Power in the House Went Out": Once you start picking up the Sledgehammer, the Storage Room in the Basement will unlock. If you drop a tool and walk too far away, it will disappear and respawn in the Storage Room. During Dolores' Chapter, the Basement is accessed via the Mirror by the Garage Door. All other times, you can take the stairs down to it. As you play through Dolores' chapter, at a random time, the power in the house will go out. You need to reset the breaker in the Electrical Room down in the Basement. The Key to this room is found in a desk drawer in the Study/Office on the second floor of the main house.

Dolores' Chapter

 

 

Start the game and wait for the opening cutscene to play out. 

When you gain control, go down the stairs.

Answer the phone on the wall at the bottom of the stairs. 

When the call is done, go left and down the hallway to the left (you'll get a small explanation of your Sanity meter here).

Turn right (you'll get an explanation of paranormal activities here). 

Interact with the Front Door. (B) First Reaction

Go over to the table by the stairs that the radio is sitting on. 

Turn the radio off (this will greatly increase your Sanity meter so be sure to turn it off whenever you hear it's on/get close to it).

Pick up the Lightbulb next to the radio. 

Go back to the hallway where the light went out. 

Hold :l1: and :r1: on the broken light above you to fix it. (B) Novice Electrician

 

Go back to the table with the radio on it. 

Just to the left of it, on the wall, is a key holder. 

Pick up the Key with a Small Mirror On It.

This will start Dolores' Chapter. 

 

Go back to the hallway where you fixed the light. 

Use the Key with a Small Mirror On It on the locked door to open it up (the door itself will have a Mirror on it).

Turn on the light (if it's not already on).

Interact with the Mirror covered in a draped cloth.

Leave this room and head back towards the front door. 

The room to the left of the radio will now be open. Go inside it (this will be referenced as the TV Room). 

 

Pick up the Basement Key on the table immediately to your left when you enter the TV Room.

Interact with the Mirror draped in cloth by the TV.

Leave this room and go upstairs.

Turn left down the hallway. 

Go into the small room/balcony area on the left. 

Interact with the Mirror draped in cloth (you will see a rocking chair in it). 

Interact with the Mirror. 

Go back into the hallway. You should see dust falling from footsteps above you (the camera will automatically look up at it). 

Go towards the stairs and turn right after them. 

Go inside the room (this is the Master Bedroom). 

Turn the light on if it's not already on. 

In the bottom right drawer of the dresser at the foot of the bed is a Matryoshka Doll (1/10). (B) Matryoshka doll

Pick up the Lighter on the desk by the Window. 

Go back to the stairs and at the bottom should be a man (don't worry, he won't kill you). 

Head downstairs towards him and follow him into the hallway on the left. 

Keep following him all the way into the Progress Room (you'll get a little explanation for what this room is). 

Go into the small room on the left. 

Grab the Hook from the wall (it's stuck inside the painting). 

Crouch down with :l3: and look into the cubby of the table with the candles on it. 

Pick up the Matryoshka Doll (2/10).

Go all the way back downstairs, left through the Family Room, and left down the hallway.

Go right down the next hallway then back upstairs. 

Head left towards the Grandfather Clock and look for the hatch to the attic above you. 

Use the Hook on the attic hatch to lower the stairs. 

Go up into the attic. 

Go down the right path to the far side of the attic. 

Go left, then left again until you reach a glass case. 

Stand on the far side of the glass case and interact with the Large Smiley Sticker inside. (B) Smile!

Go back to the far side of the attic.

Turn right and interact with the Rocking Chair. 

 

On the shelf to your left is a box labeled "Tea and Sun". It's locked right now, but remember where this is as we'll be coming back to it. 

 

Turn your back towards the Rocking Chair, take a few steps, and you should hear a loud thud. Look to the right of the Rocking Chair to see a hole in the ground.

Jump into the newly revealed hole to the right of the Rocking Chair. You'll end up in a different version of the Master Bedroom.  

Pick up the White Slipper on the ground directly in front of you. 

 

On the left wall, there are two frames that you can knock down to reveal holes. Knock them both down and look inside the room. Remember the 3 paintings and the order they're in, as you'll need this for a puzzle solution in a few. 

 

Go to the far side of the room.

On the table on the left is the 1st Audio Cassette Tape (1/4). (B) George's memento

If you want to listen to it, put it back in the Tape Record and let it play out. You can store it in the Cassette Tape box that is also on the table, though you can also just keep it with you. 

Interact with the paper with all of the scribbles. 

 

This is another solution to a future puzzle. There is a number that is written every which way on the paper that you'll be needing. It's hard to see, but the number is 5-0-3-7-3. It's also written all over the walls nearby.

 

On the floor is a locked box with a Music symbol on it. We'll be coming back to this. 

Look at the bed and put the White Slipper next to the other White Slipper already on it. 

Ignore the Mirror that just broke and try to leave through the door of the bedroom. 

If it's closed, wait for the door to open. 

When you leave, you'll see a slight blood trail (and something being dragged). Follow this and walk all the way to the girl at the end. 

When she disappears, turn around and stand under the flashing light (so you don't lose any sanity). You'll eventually "pass out".  

When you regain control, you'll be back on the second floor, just at the top of the stairs. 

Go downstairs and follow the new blood trail through the hallway to the left. 

Follow it all the way up to the room at the top of the next set of stairs and go through the open door.

Interact with the hole in the center of the room and climb down the "vine".

Go straight through the narrow passageway. Ignore the gentleman that walks across the hall, he won't hurt you. 

Go right when you hit the end (you'll need to Crouch with :l3: to get under the gate). 

Keep following the path until you reach a room with a circle of Mirrors. 

 

For this puzzle, you need to run around the Mirrors until you find one that provides you a vision, then keep repeating this process until you see Dolores looking at you. You'll know the correct Mirror to look at based on the bottom of it. If you look at the floor in the Mirror, the reflection of the floor will be the same on all of them except for the one you need to look at. It'll be a little bit lower. There are 4 "visions" in total that you'll see: 

 

  • 1st Vision: Dolores walking away
  • 2nd Vision: Dolores walking to the left
  • 3rd Vision: Dolores hanging from the top
  • 4th Vision: Dolores staring at you

When you get to the 4th Vision, turn around so your back is facing the Mirror, then turn around and look at it again. Brace yourself. 

When the Mirror falls, it'll reveal a hole in the center of the Mirrors.

Go down into the hole. 

You will be back in a form of the Progress Room.

Exit through the door and head downstairs.

Go through the Mirror at the end (you'll end up in the large Family room). This is the start of the Mirror Maze in this Chapter. 

 

 

Go left down the hall and then left again, down a small set of stairs, to the Garage Door (turn the light on if you need to).

On the Garage Door is a Note telling you where to get the Key. 

Go back up the small set of stairs and right (back down the hallway). 

The door just to the left of the Mirror straight ahead will now be open. 

Go straight into the Kitchen area. 

Walk over to the Microwave and open the door to it. 

Pick up the Mug on top of the Microwave and place it inside the Microwave.

Close the Microwave door. (B) Special Recipe

Look back at the door you came in through and go inside the door on the right (the Laundry Room). 

Interact with the dryer to pick up the Garage Key

Leave this room and go through the door you came in.

Go down the hallway to the right. 

Go down the small stairs leading to the Garage. 

Use the Garage Key on the door to unlock it. 

Get inside the car. 

Interact with the panel of the car to turn off the super loud car alarm.

Interact with the Sledgehammer in the passenger side window to remove it from the window.

Exit the car and pick up the Sledgehammer.  

 

 

On the far side of the Garage are some stairs. 

Take out your lighter if you don't already have it in your hand. Make sure it's lit. 

Flip the light switch just next to the stairs to turn the light on upstairs. 

Even though you probably really don't want to, walk towards Dolores. 

When the light turns off, back down the stairs and the light will turn back on. Keep your lighter lit through this next part just in case Dolores plays with you and keeps turning off the light.  

Go up the stairs and use the Garage Key on the door up here to open it, but don't go through just yet. 

In the back of this storage room is a large red toolbox is. 

Push it to the left to move it out of the way. A hidden room will be revealed.

If you take too long, Dolores will try to kill you. If she does, you'll load back in at the car. 

Go inside the hidden room and on the shelf on the left will be another Matryoshka Doll (3/10).

 

 

Leave the hidden room and exit out the door you just unlocked. You can put out your lighter now if you still have it lit. 

Go right up the stairs and into the Progress Room. 

Use the Sledgehammer on the Mirror on the left to break it (if you're holding anything else, you'll need to drop/store it as the Sledgehammer requires both hands).

Go inside the large creepy room.

Interact with the fetus to get a Glass Sphere

Go back through the Mirror and down one set of stairs.

Go into the room on the left (leads to the storage room above the Garage. Dolores most likely closed it because that's just the way she is).

Go downstairs into the Garage. 

On the table just in front of the car is a Bench Vise / Clamp.

Interact with the Clamp once to open it and again to put the Glass Sphere inside of it. 

When the sphere breaks, you'll receive the 'Note with Strange Scribbles On It' that was inside. 

 

This is the Solution to a clock puzzle we will be doing shortly. 

 

Facing the car, exit through the door on the right (towards the front door of the house/radio).

Ignore the doorbell if it rings and go upstairs.

Go left, and then left into the small area with the Mirror. 

Use the Sledgehammer on the Mirror to break it.

You need to do this next part QUICKLY as Dolores will be behind you and if you take too long, she'll kill you.

Go through the Mirror and all the way to the end of the hall until you see the part of the floor that is slightly torn. 

Use :r1: to swing the Sledgehammer on the floor to break it. It'll take 5-6 swings before the floor finally breaks.  

When you regain control, head straight into a room with the hanging bodies. 

In the center of the room is a chair with another Lighter and a small Poem. Pick up the Lighter so you have a fresh one on you. 

 

This Paper is the solution to the puzzle in this room. You need to light up the bodies that match the clues on the poem. The key words from the poem are MOON, VISION, and SHADOW. On 3 of the bodies hanging around the room are either these images exactly or something close to them. Above each of these boxes is a hole that opens up to shine the light on them. You need to shine the light on the 3 bodies that match the words from the poem.

 

Head upstairs (they're on the left side of the room). 

Pick up the Mechanical Crank from the central, lit up area. 

Use the Mechanical Crank on the gears marked in this picture:

When done correctly, head back downstairs and in the center of the room, where the chair was, will now be a hole. 

Go inside the hole.

Follow the tunnel all the way down and through the next door.

Turn left and go through the next door (you are now down in the Basement). 

Head left (past the glass wall) and you should come to a Mirror.

There is a doorway just to the right with a light switch on the other side. Turn the light on. 

Go inside the newly lit room and there will be a deep freezer. 

Open it up and in the bottom right corner is a Matryoshka Doll (4/10).

Turn on any other lights in the living room that you can to give yourself more light.

Pick up the Lighter on the shelf just to the right of the room with the Deep Freezer in it. 

 

 

 

Just outside of this small room is a shelf right by the door. This is where you'll get (B) Gotcha you little..., but when you actually get it will vary for everyone. 

At any random time, a small green alien will appear on the top of the shelf.

When it does, you need to quickly click on it to send it on its way into oblivion. This is a bit more annoying to do on console than it is on PC due to the analog sticks, so you want to start on the right side of the Alien, and strafe over to the left to click on it.

The second your cursor is on it, it'll try to runaway to the right, behind the picture frame. If it does, you'll need to wait for it to respawn again before you can try again. 

If it didn't appear this first time, you will have plenty of opportunities to get it throughout the story. 

Alternatively, you can make a manual save here and keep reloading your game to try and get it to spawn. 

 

 

Go past the half-wall and you'll come to a table on the right with 2 light switches above it. 

Turn on the lights and directly across from the table are some brown closet doors. Interact with them to open up the Closet to reveal another Mirror. 

Use the Sledgehammer on the Mirror to break it and go through. 

Go inside the hole in the right wall. 

Follow the path through another hole at the end of the 'tunnel'. There is another Lighter on the table here. If you need it, pick it up. 

Go through the door (you'll end up in a room with a lot of Crucifixes). 

Put the Sledgehammer down (it'll automatically go into Storage after a few seconds - we'll pick it back up later). 

Underneath the middle of the pile is a tunnel. 

Follow the tunnel to the end and out the other side. You'll come to a set of stairs and another room full of Crucifixes. 

Pick up one of the Crucifixes in the room and bring it upstairs. 

At the top of the stairs, you'll reach a room with a ring of candles. 

Take the Crucifix to a hallway on the right and walk towards the hole in the floor. You'll automatically place the Crucifix down as a makeshift bridge.

Walk over it and go inside the room at the end of the hall.  

Interact with the Shotgun. (B) Gearing Up

Go back to the room with the ring of candles. 

Use the Mechanical Crank on the device on the opposite side of the candles. 

Walk over to the newly raised Jesus and grab the Bloody Knife stuck in him. 

Pick the Crucifix back up from the hole it's covering and toss it anywhere.

Jump into the hole.

Go back through the hole in the wall. 

Go back through the Mirror on the other side and out of the Closet. 

Go into the room immediately on the left (the Storage Room).

Pick up the Sledgehammer

To the right of the Storage Room you should see 2 light switches on the wall (interact with them to turn the lights on). Go down into the room on the right (with the blue draped cloth and the "mannequin" - it looks like Dolores, but it is in fact a mannequin). 

Just to the right of the mannequin is another Mirror. 

Use the Sledgehammer on the Mirror to break it. 

Go through the Mirror and you'll be in another Kitchen setting. 

Pick up the Audio Cassette Tape on the counter immediately on your left (2/4).

Dolores will eventually ask you to bring her some "special tea". 

Pick up the Tea Box Key on the dining table. 

Go back through the Mirror. 

Go left, up the small set of stairs. 

Go through the door directly across from the stairs (it will lead to a Bathroom). 

Where the Toilet should be will be a hole in the ground. Jump into the hole. 

When you land, you'll be in a Progress Room.

To the left of the Crucifix is a Confessional. 

Interact with it to talk with Dolores. She'll give you an additional objective for this Chapter. 

Go downstairs and through the Mirror (you'll end up in the large Family Room).

Go left down the hallway, then right towards the Front Door. 

Go upstairs.

 

 

Go into the room to the right of the Bathroom (the Study/Office). 

Pick up the Electrical Key from the top left drawer in the desk. 

On the left side of the room (right if you're facing the door) will be another Mirror on the back wall. 

Use the Sledgehammer on the Mirror to break it. 

Go inside and you'll end up in a Library. 

Walk over to the body in the chair. 

Pick up the Infusion Bag

Interact with the body to place the Bloody Knife back inside of it. 

Pick up the Small Key he drops.

On the far side of the room, interact with the wooden wall to move it, revealing a hidden door (this is just between two bookcases). 

Use the Small Key on the door. 

Head inside the room and on the table will be a small box. 

Interact with the box to open it up.

Pick up the Cloud Toy.

Pick up the Audio Cassette Tape (3/4).

Head back through the door and when you see the man (George) standing there, go back into the small room and close the door. 

Open the door again and he'll be gone. 

Go back through the Mirror, out of the office, and down the hall to the right. 

Use the Hook on the Attic Door. 

Go inside the Attic and to the Rocking Chair in the back right.

Use the Tea Box Key on the locked box on the shelf just to behind the Rocking Chair (you'll pick up Dolores' "Special" Tea).

Jump down the hole in the floor. 

Head downstairs and down the hallway to the left. 

Go towards the Garage Door and you'll see a Mirror next to it (if it's closed) or behind the Garage door (if it's open). 

Go through the Mirror. 

Follow the long winding hallway through the door at the end. You'll be back in the Basement. 

Go left towards the Mirror (don't break it though). 

Then go right. 

If you don't already have (B) Gotcha you little..., check the shelf to see if he has appeared. 

Go right at the Storage Room. 

Go down into the area with the blue draped cloth and the mannequin. 

Go through the Mirror to the right of the mannequin, back into the Kitchen area. 

Interact with the Teacup on the dining table to make Dolores her tea (you need both hands for this so will have to drop the Sledgehammer and store anything else you might be holding). 

Dolores will thank you for your assistance. 

 

 

When you regain control, interact with the oven door (when you get the prompt) until it opens. 

Pick up the Star Toy on the dining table. 

Pick up the Crowbar on the dining table. 

Interact with the 'Special' Tea Box to see why she didn't like the tea you made her. 

Go back through the Mirror. 

Go left and up the small set of stairs.

Go right to the Storage Room.

Put the Crowbar down and pickup the Sledgehammer

Go back towards the stairs leading to the blue-draped cloth area, but instead of going down them, head straight towards a Mirror. 

Break the Mirror with the Sledgehammer

Go back to the Storage Room. 

Switch out the Sledgehammer with the Crowbar

Go through the Mirror you just broke.

Head up the stairs and use the Crowbar on the window at the end of the room.

Pick up the Compass.

Put the Compass away in your inventory.

Drop the Crowbar (it'll automatically be moved to the Storage Room). 

Go back down the ladder and back through the Mirror. 

Go to the Storage Room and pick up the Sledgehammer

Go down the hallway just to the right of the Storage Room (to the left of the blue-draped cloth area, it'll be an open doorway). 

Follow the pathway to the end, up some stairs, where you'll find yet another Mirror. 

Break the Mirror with the Sledgehammer and go through it (you'll end up outside).

 

 

Go through the Mirror. 

Drop the Sledgehammer and equip the Compass

Go through the park and when you reach the street, turn left. 

Keep running (sprint with :l2:) down the street and you'll eventually reach an open gate leading to a Graveyard on the right side. Go inside.

Go straight ahead to a large statue. Take the path to the left of it. 

Follow this path all the way until you finally reach a Crib buried in the dirt.

Interact with the Crib to dig up a small box.

Interact with the small box to pick up a Space Ship Toy

Continue along the path and you'll eventually find your way back to the large Statue. 

This time, go to the right of it and follow the path up the small sets of stairs.  You'll eventually reach a Tomb (your Compass needle will be pointing towards this). Go inside. 

Go all the way down the stairs and through the door (you'll end up back in the Basement). 

Go left and turn right at the Mirror. 

If you don't have (B) Gotcha you little... yet, check the shelf to see if the Alien has appeared. 

Go to the Storage Room and pick up the Sledgehammer

Go right of the Storage Room and into the first room on the right (the Bathroom).

Jump in the hole where the Toilet should be.

Go down the stairs and through the Mirror (you'll end up in the large Family Room). 

To the left is a door with a Mirror just to the right of it. 

Break the Mirror with the Sledgehammer and go through it. 

 

The Solution to this puzzle is the 'Paper with Scribbles' you picked up after breaking the Glass Sphere in the Garage earlier.

Walk straight and there will be 3 clocks on the left wall. 

 

  • Set the 1st/leftmost Clock to 6:00
  • Set the 2nd/middle Clock to 3:30
  • Set the 3rd/rightmost Clock to 12:30
     

Follow the Hallway around the corner to the right and again when it turns right again. 

On the left wall will be 3 Windows.

Open the left and right Windows, but keep the middle Window closed. 

Follow the hallway around one more corner and on the left wall will be 3 Plates. 

 

  • Turn the 1st/leftmost Plate once to the right (so the head is facing right).
  • Leave the 2nd/middle Plate alone (it should be upright)
  • Turn the 3rd/rightmost Plate 3 times (so the head is facing left)
     

Make 3 full loops around the Hallway (the Mirror you came in through will disappear) and on your 4th loop, you'll see a red glowing light coming from a new room. 

Go inside and drop the Sledgehammer somewhere where you can easily pick it back up again. 

Interact with the Crib to pick up a Baby Monitor

Pick the Sledgehammer back up. 

Go back through the Mirror you came in from (it'll reappear now). 

Go right down the hallway. 

Turn to go right.

If Dolores is standing in the doorway to the TV Room, backtrack to the Mirror you just came through and wait for the music to calm down (it'll take about 3-4 seconds). Check to see if she's gone.

If she is, head down the hallway to the Front Door. If she's not, just wait by the Mirror for a few more seconds. 

Tucked under the Front Door is the first Neighbor's Page (1/4)(B) The Neighbors

Go inside the TV Room.

Go right and just before the double doors leading to the Dining Room is a Mirror on the right wall. 

Break the Mirror with the Sledgehammer and go through it (you'll need to drop the Baby Monitor to swing the Sledgehammer, just remember to pick it back up when you do. If you have room in your inventory, put it in there. If you don't have room, switch out the Baby Monitor with one of your Lighters. You'll see why in just a second). 

Go down the ladder and you'll be in a hallway and eventually a room with a handful of Paintings scattered about.

 

The solution to this puzzle was in Dolores' Room when you looked through the two peepholes in the wall. You need to find the 3 Paintings and place them in the correct order.

You can't pick up the Paintings when carrying two items, but you can if you're carrying one. You want to keep the Sledgehammer and Baby Monitor on you, otherwise they'll teleport back to the Storage Room, causing some extra footwork for you. If you switched out the Baby Monitor with a Lighter, drop the Lighter

 

  • Painting #2 (Middle): When you first go through the Mirror, it's the second painting on the right wall. 
  • Painting #1 (Left): On the floor just in front of the left and middle frames where you place the Paintings on the wall. 
  • Painting #3 (Right): If you're facing the wall where you place the Paintings, this one is hanging on the right wall. It's the rightmost picture. 

 

When they're placed correctly, a hidden door will open, revealing a hospital bed.

Walk over to the bed and place the Infusion Bag on the IV Stand. 

When the shadow disappears, pick up the Sun Toy

Head back up the ladder (you can pick up the Lighter you dropped if you can find it) and go back through the Mirror. 

Go towards the front door and up the stairs. 

Go into the Bathroom.

Just across from the Shower is another Mirror. 

Break the Mirror with the Sledgehammer (do this now so you don't have to drop the Baby Monitor later as you need it to be playing). 

Leave the Bathroom and go into the Master Bedroom (it has a Crib inside of it). 

Equip the Baby Monitor and turn it on with :r1:.

Interact with the base of the Baby Monitor just in front of the door to the Bedroom (you should start to hear Dolores talking, more specifically, reading out some numbers; 5-0-3-7-3).

Leave the Bedroom and head back into the Bathroom. 

Go through the Mirror you broke earlier. 

With the Baby Monitor in hand (and speaking the 5 digit code), walk towards the door. Because Dolores is reading the "secret code", the door will unlock. Head inside. 

 

The Solution to this puzzle is the Dolores' secret code. It's the same 5 numbers that were scribbled on the paper in her room. Each "intersection" has a set of clocks above the hallways. You need to follow the Clocks so their time matches that secret code. 5 = 5:00. 0 = 12:00. 3 = 3:00. 7 = 7:00.

 

At the first set of Clocks you come to, ignore the Clocks for a second and look on the table in the left corner. 

Pick up the final Audio Cassette Tape (4/4)(S) George's memento master

Follow the Clocks in this order:

 

  • 5:00 (Left)
  • 12:00 (Right)
  • 3:00 (Straight)
  • 7:00 (Left)
  • 3:00 (Straight)
     

You'll come to another door. Go through it. 

Interact with the Phonograph.

When you regain control, head through the door and follow the creepy tunnel, through another door, and another creepy tunnel. 

You'll go through a few more doors, but eventually end up the Basement where the TV Room is. 

Go past the TV and turn left down the hallway.

Go through the door on the last door on the right. 

Interact with the Phonograph to pick up the Phonograph Handle

When you can, leave back through the door. 

Follow the Umbilical Cord on the ground (you'll go through the hole in the Bathroom floor). 

Go downstairs and through the Mirror.

The Umbilical Cord will be back, so follow it again until you reach the Progress Room upstairs. 

Go through the Mirror on the right wall. 

Pick up the Baby

Carry it back downstairs and through the Mirror by the stairs. 

Go up the stairs to the Progress Room and give the Baby to Dolores in the Confessional to the left of the Crucifix. 

When Jesus falls, a Moon Toy will be hanging on the Crucifix. Pick it up.

Go back down the stairs and through the Mirror. 

Head left down the hallway and then right.

If Dolores is standing in the doorway to the TV Room, backtrack to the Mirror behind you (or to the right, depending on which way you're facing) and wait for the music to calm down (it'll take about 3-4 seconds). Check to see if she's gone. 

If she is, head down the hallway towards the front door.  

Go upstairs and into the Master Bedroom. 

Interact with the Mobile above the Crib. 

Place all 5 Toys on the Mobile. 

Interact with it again and a Music Key will be revealed. Pick it up. 

Go to the far side of the room and interact with the Music Box on the floor. Use the key to open it up. 

Pick up the Vinyl inside. 

Down back downstairs and through the left hallway.

Head down towards the Garage door and through the Mirror. 

Follow the winding hallway and through the door at the end. You'll end up in the Basement. 

Go left and turn right at the Mirror. 

If you don't have (B) Gotcha you little... yet, check the shelf to see if the Alien has appeared.

Interact with the Phonograph to place the Vinyl and the Phonograph Handle on it. 

Interact with it again to start playing the music. 

If you don't already have the Sledgehammer on you, pick it up from the Storage Room. 

Break the Mirror just to the right of the Phonograph (the one you've passed multiple times now when entering the Basement) and go through it. 

Go through the door (you'll end up in a large room with a lot of stairs and doors).

 

To solve this puzzle, you need to follow the Music. The louder it is, the more correct direction you're going in. If you hear static or "dark" sounds, you're going the wrong way.

When you regain control, go through the door (you may need to wait a second or two for it to actually open).

Go towards the door and pick up the Mirror on the floor. (G) Chapter: Dolores 

 

This will end Dolores' chapter, but as one final send off, she's killed the electricity in the house. Before we start with Lucy's chapter, we'll want to fix that. 

 

Pick up the VHS Tape on the floor (Negligence) (1/7).

Leave the Master Bedroom and go downstairs. 

Go right, past the Radio. 

Use the Basement Key on the door in front of you. To save yourself some time, also use the Basement Key on the door directly behind it (it'll lead to the Kitchen, but don't go inside just yet. 

Head downstairs (you'll end up in the Basement). 

Go through the door at the bottom of the stairs and turn left. 

The door straight ahead of you leads to the Electrical Room.

Use the Electrical Room Key to open it up. 

Flip the light switch so it's in the "on" position. 

Go to the far side of the room and flip the handle on the breaker. The light above you should turn on, letting you now power has been restored to the house.

Leave the Electrical Room. 

If you don't have (B) Gotcha you little... yet, check the shelf to see if the Alien has appeared.

Go back through the door you initially entered the Basement through.

Go up the stairs and through the door on the left. 

Go back upstairs to the Master Bedroom.

Lucy's Chapter

 

 

While inside the Master Bedroom, go into the Closet on the far side (this is shared closet between the Master Bedroom and Lucy's Room).

If the door leading to Lucy's room is open, close it.

Interact with the Panda Drawing on the door. 

 

This will start Lucy's Chapter. 

 

Go inside Lucy's Room and close the door behind you.

Open up the closet just next to the door you came in through (turn on the light if it's off) and interact with the back wall.

Leave the closet and face your back towards the closet for a few and eventually the Closet door will close and the light will turn off.

Open the Closet back up (and turn the light back on) and on the back wall will be another Drawing.

Interact with the Drawing and you'll knock on the door and, much to your dismay, receive a knocking response. Repeat this until you no longer get a response.  

The main door to Lucy's room will now be open. Leave her room and head downstairs. 

Head right into the TV Room. 

The TV should be on. Turn it off and turn your back on it. Take a few steps forward and the TV should turn back on. 

It'll show an image of a room with a girl (Lucy) standing in the back. This is the TV area down in the Basement. 

Leave this room and turn left (towards the radio). 

Go through the door and down the stairs to the Basement. 

Go towards the TV area and the light to the room with the Deep Freezer should be off (if you get close, you should be able to hear a little girl. Not creepy at all). 

Turn the light on and turn around. 

On the halfwall will now be a Camera. Pick it up. 

If you don't have (B) Gotcha you little... yet, check the shelf to see if the Alien has appeared.

 

 

Head back towards the hallway you came in from and go towards the flashing light at the end of the hall. 

Wait for Lucy to walk towards you (she won't kill you here), drop a Syringe, then back away into the darkness.

Pick up the Syringe she dropped. 

Go back to the corner with the two light switches above the white table (just next to the TV area). 

Open up the bottom drawer of the table and pick up the VHS Tape (Addiction) (2/7).

Go through the doorway Lucy appeared in and follow the path. 

Turn left when you can, then go back up the stairs. 

Go through the door at the top (if it's not already open, use the Basement Key to unlock it). 

To the right are some double doors leading to the TV Room. Interact with the table blocking them to push it out of the way.

Just next to the doors is a cabinet. In the second cabinet from the right is another Matryoshka Doll (5/10).

Go through the double doors and into the TV Room. 

Exit through the other door and head upstairs (you should see a flashing light). 

Head into the Study/Office (the door to the right of the flashing light). The door will close behind you. 

On the left wall, between the two couches, is a dark Drawing. Flash the Camera to see it, then ignite one of your Lighters

Walk up to the creepy drawing and the Study/Office door will reopen.  

Leave this room and go back downstairs (you should see a glowing red light to the right). 

Go through the door just past the radio (you'll end up outside). 

Follow the path all the way until you reach a Treehouse. 

Go up the ladder and into the Treehouse. 

In the back right corner is a table with a radio on it. Underneath the table is a Matryoshka Doll (6/10).

On the right wall are 8 Drawings. 

Interact with the Drawing on the top row, second from the right ("I Want to be Your Friend Lucy"). 

Turn it over and pick up the Small Key

Underneath the window is a Black Box. 

Use the Small Key on the Black Box to open it up. 

Pick up the Drawing inside the Box. Interact with it again and it'll disappear.

Wait for the floor to fall out from beneath you (it'll turn pitch black outside before it does, then some flashing lights will go off - will take about a minute or two). 

 

 

When you regain control, you'll be back in the TV Room down in the Basement. 

If you don't have (B) Gotcha you little... yet, check the shelf to see if the Alien has appeared.

On the ground will be a trail of Light Switches. Unfortunately this also means all of the lights with switches in the house are now unusable. Because all of the switches are on the floor. Nice. 

Follow them through the first door on the right (if you can't open this door, follow the hallway around to the right towards the blue draped cloth, and then right again - there is a door on the other side that you can go through) and up the stairs.

When you get to the top of the stairs, there will be a door on your left, a table in front of you, and a door to the right.

Open up the top drawer of the table and pick up the VHS Tape (Indifference) (3/7).

Go through the door on the left. 

Keep following the Switches upstairs and into the Master Bedroom. 

Go through the shared closet again and into Lucy's Room. 

On the wall, just to the left of the bed, will be a new Drawing

Interact with it a few times to reveal a hole in the wall. 

Go through the hole and you'll end up in a room with a Birdcage.

Read the next part before going through the door as Lucy will be in the room with you and it's better that you know what to do before going inside.

 

 

Go through the door on the other side. 

You will now be in a large room with a lot of Tables, Birdcages, and Desks.

Your main focus in this room will be the Tables and Desks with Drawers. 

Hidden in a random Drawer is a Key with a Birdcage on it. Where it appears will vary for everyone, so you want to open up every Drawer you come across until you find it. 

Roughly halfway through the room will be Lucy, just standing there in all her creepy af glory. 

Walk up to her and she'll get yanked backwards. She will now be roaming around the room. 

You can hear when she gets close as she's dragging her feet and making weird sounds. If she gets close, sprint in the opposite direction to get away from her. If she gets too close, she'll kill you. When you respawn, you'll be in the room with the single Birdcage. 

Once you find the Key with the Birdcage, take it to the white door all the way in the back of the room. 

Unlock the door with the Key and go inside. 

 

 

Go down the long hallway and through the door at the other end. 

You'll be in another room with a single Birdcage, but this one actually has a makeshift bird inside of it. 

Interact with both doors, the bird, and the radio beneath the bird. Turn your back on the cage a few times the Bird will eventually disappear. 

Lucy will appear in the corner and the lights will start to flicker. When they stop (and when she disappears), go through the door next to the Birdcage.

On the right side of the room is a mini mannequin. Just behind it is another Matryoshka Doll (7/10).

Go through the next 2 doors and down the long, dark pathway until you reach a Wardrobe. Interact with it. 

When you regain control, head into the lit room on the left (the Bathroom). 

Pick up the Mannequin Jaw in the sink. 

Leave the Bathroom and head downstairs into the TV Room on the right. 

Go into the Dining Room and through the door on the left.

Head down the stairs and follow the hallway left. Make sure you ignite a Lighter as it'll be pretty dark down here. 

Take the second right (or right when the first hallway ends).

You'll immediately go down a very short set of stairs. When you do, turn around to look at them and you'll see another Matryoshka Doll underneath them (8/10).

Continue following the narrow pathway until you reach the room with the draped blue cloth and the Mannequin. 

Put the Mannequin Jaw on the Mannequin. 

Open up the wardrobe just behind it. 

With the Camera equipped, flash it a few times into the wardrobe. Brace yourself. 

When you regain control, go through the door directly in front of you. 

Go left, turn right, and turn right again. 

Go through the door on the left. 

Go through 2 more doors and follow the hallway until you reach a coat rack on the right side (you might think it's a person at first).

Follow the corner right just after this and then immediately to the right again. 

Go through the door at the end of the hallway. 

Go up 2 sets of stairs, through the doorway on the right, up  another set of stairs, and through the door at the end of the hallway. You'll end up in a room with a handful of wardrobes in front of you. One of these contain the next Matryoshka Doll. At the entrance of the room, go around the wardrobe in front/right of you to the right:

Just behind that first wardrobe will be another with its doors facing to the right (they're open in the image below, but will be closed when you look at it) -

Open it up and flash the camera. You should see a handful of white faces appear, then the Matryoshka Doll (9/10) will appear on the bottom shelf.

Go back to the entrance and face the Wardrobes again. On your immediate right will be a wardrobe. Go around it to the other side and there will be a hole on the ground (there will be candles around it - it's dark so might be hard to see).

You'll reach a lit room with a large carpet on the floor. 

Interact with the carpet to lift it up, revealing a hole. 

Go down the hole and through the tunnel. Just past some candles, at the end, will be a drawing of an eye on a wall. 

Interact with the Drawing and you'll remove a large plank of wood (this opens up a new pathway we're about to take). 

Head back the way you came (back up the ladder). 

Go right and follow the hallway all the way to the end until you reach a chair blocking a closet. 

Move the chair out of the way and open up the closet. 

Go through it and through the doors on the other side. 

 

 

Go left before the open doorway, down the stairs, and through the door at the bottom. 

Go left and through the next door (there will be a dim glowing reddish light coming from it). 

When you can see the flashing light (and shadowy figure. just ignore it), go right. 

Go through the first door on the right. 

Go through the next door, the door on the left, and follow the hallway until you reach some stairs.

Go up the stairs and through the door at the end (you'll come to a small room with 3 doors). 

Go through the door on the left. 

Follow the hallway left and through another door. 

Go left, down some stairs, and through another door on the left. 

There will be a semi-lit wardrobe on the left. Open it up and pick up the Rusty Key

Head back the way you came until you reach the room with the now 2 closed doors. 

Use the Rusty Key on the door straight ahead of you. 

Go inside and follow the path to the end where a plank with some eyes drawn it will be leaning against the wall. 

Pick up the plank and go back towards the way you came, but go past the hallway on the left (the one you came in from).

Follow the hallway as it turns left (you'll see some blue tarps on the ground) and then eventually right.

You'll come to a hole in the ground and will automatically place the plank over the hole, creating a makeshift bridge for you to cross. 

Cross it and follow the path and go through the door at the end. 

Follow the hallway as it turns left and go through the door at the end. 

Go downstairs, then up the stairs on the left. 

Use the camera to help light your way on this next part as it'll be incredibly dark.

Go through the doorway at the top of the stairs (you can turn on the light up here if you want) and up the next set of stairs. 

Go through the doorway on the right at the top of the stairs and follow the path until you reach a hole in the ground. 

Jump down the hole (you'll end up in a Bathroom). 

Exit through the door. 

Climb up all the junk in the Garage to reach the high door on the right. 

Go left, then right at the wall. 

If you don't have (B) Gotcha you little... yet, check the shelf to see if the Alien has appeared.

Follow the path of light switches on the ground again, all the way up the stairs to the main house, and up the next set of stairs to the second floor. 

Go into the Bathroom.

 

 

Pick up the lighter on the counter if you don't already have one on you. 

Interact with the door on the other side. 

It will be jammed. 

Interact with the door you entered from. 

It will also be jammed. 

Go to the Shower and interact with the curtain to draw it open. 

Keep interacting with the doors and eventually the light will go out.

Flip the switch to turn it back on. 

Go back to the Tub and wait for it to fill with water.

After about a minute or so, the light will turn off again. Turn it back on (use your lighter to help find it). 

The Tub should be close to being full now. When it is, interact with the water to get in.

When you regain control, walk up to and watch each of the visions/memories as they appear. 

When you see the Tub full of blood, interact with it. 

When you regain control, pick up the Jaw in the sink. (G) Chapter: Lucy

 

This will end Lucy's Chapter.

 

 

Before we do Rakan's Chapter, we're going to get some miscellaneous trophies out of the way. 

Before you leave the Bathroom, inside the toilet is another VHS Tape (Pride) (4/7).

Head downstairs and go right past the radio, through the 2 doors, and into the Kitchen. 

Remove anything in the Microwave that still might be there from earlier. 

Open up the bottom drawer next to the oven and pick up the Hot Chocolate Mix.

Open up the fridge and pick up the Dope Cow Milk

To the left of the Microwave is a black mug that when you interact with it, will tell you it's empty. 

Place the Hot Chocolate Mix and Dope Cow Milk on the platter with the Mug. 

Interact with the Mug to make Hot Chocolate

When the Microwave sparks out, exit through the door you came in through and head upstairs.

Go left and into the last room on the right (the little boy's room).

Go inside and there will be a large portal-like vision on the wall. 

Walk towards it and the Hot Chocolate will appear. (B) Hot Chocolate (this trophy has a few seconds delay on it)

The room will turn back to normal. When it does, on the floor to the left of the Wardrobe is the last Matryoshka Doll (10/10)(G) Matryoshka Dolls Master

Go back downstairs and go left down the hallway and down the small stairs, into the Garage. 

Immediately turn left and go through the door (if it's locked, use the Garage Key to open it up). 

Follow the hall as it turns left and immediately on the left will be a table.

Open up the top drawer and pick up the Neighbors Page (2/4).

Go back through this door and exit out of the Garage. 

Go right down the hallway, towards the large Family Room.

In the first hutch on the left will be another VHS Tape (Affliction) (5/7).

You must have picked up the first two Neighbors Pages for this next part to be available. 
Go towards the phone by the stairs and it'll start to ring. Pick up the receiver and listen to the message. Hang up the phone when it's done. 

If it doesn't ring, leave to a different room and come back. 

Make your way back towards the front door and into the TV Room.

On the floor, just in front of the TV, will be a Neighbor's Page (3/4).

Head back towards the front door and go upstairs.

Go into the Master Bedroom. 

Go through the shared closet (w/ Lucy's Room) and on a shelf in the closet will be the last Neighbor's Page (4/4)(G) The Neighbors Master

Go downstairs and stop when you get to the Front Door.

Rakkan's Chapter

 

 

 

Just to the left of the door leading to the TV Room is a walking crutch. Interact with it. 

This will start Rakkan's Chapter.

 

 

Go into the TV Room and interact with the Wheelchair by the TV. 

When you regain control, head through the double doors on the left (into the Dining Room). Wait for the scene to play out. 

When you regain control, head to the room to the right of the Dining Room. Wait for the scene to play out. 

When you regain control, head through the door to the right (into a room with a single chair in a large room). Wait for the scene to play out. 

When you regain control, head down the hallway to the right and follow it as it turns right. 

Go towards the TV Room and let the cutscene play out. 

When you regain control, head upstairs to the 2nd floor. 

Interact with the door leading to the Study/Office. 

It'll have a weird gross looking eye thing on it and, more importantly, will be locked.

Turn around and a creepy picture will appear on the wall in front of you.

Interact with the eye on the creepy picture and it'll disappear. This will unlock the door to the Study/Office.

Go inside the Study/Office. 

Interact with the Wheelchair and wait for the scene to play out. 

When you regain control, you'll be inside a Hospital. 

Go through the door with the red EXIT sign above it (on the right). 

Go right down the hallway.

Take the first left (you should see another EXIT sign in front of you).

Go left after the EXIT sign. 

Just before you reach the lobby, there is a slightly ajar brown door on the right. Go inside this room (Nurses Station).

Pick up the Key to Room 323.

Leave this room and cross through the lobby to the hallway on the other side.

Turn left at the first hallway. 

Go to Room 323 (second door on the Left - you'll hear a lot of yelling coming from it) and use the Key to Room 323 to open it up.

Go inside, through the doorway on the right (the closet), and interact with the brick wall (a brick will be pushed out, revealing another room behind it). The game will let you know that you need "a tool" to get past this wall. 

 

 

Exit this room and head back the way you came, past the lobby, and down the hallway. 

Just after the EXIT sign you passed by before is a door to the Lady's Bathroom on the left. Go inside.

In the last stall is a Crowbar. Pick it up.

Leave this room and go right, all the way back to Room 323. 

Use the Crowbar on the brick wall to break it down.

Climb inside the newly opened room. 

Pick up the Key to Meeting Room 3F on the Janitorial Cart.

You need to do this next part quickly as you'll be getting chased. Fun times. 

 

 

Leave this room and go right.

Go right at the end of the hallway. 

Go through the lobby and down the hallway you initially came from. 

Go right at the EXIT sign (there is also light shining through the blinds on the window on the left here). 

At the end of the hallway, go left (you will see a glowing red light). 

The door under the light is Meeting Room 3F. Use the Key to Meeting Room 3F to open it up and go inside. 

Go around the desk and into a room with a cafeteria table.

Pick up the Flashlight.

Pick up the Key to the Transit Wing

Move the table out of the way of the door just next to (just push it, you don't need to click on it or anything). 

Leave the room via this door. 

Go right and through the door at the end of the hallway. 

Go through the next door (the one with the EXIT sign above it).

Go right and then left at the next EXIT sign.

Keep following the hallway and pass through the Lobby.

Use the Key to the Transit Wing on the Double Doors (with the red light glowing through their windows) and go through. 

When you can, interact with the window with all of the EXIT signs surrounding it. 

 

 

When you regain control, you'll be in the house, but there will be a lot of extra... stuff... in it.

Go right through a doorway.

Go through the doorway to the left of the stairs, then down a staircase.

Go through the doorway at the bottom and turn left. There will be a white door in front of you with two of those creepy looking eyes on it. 

Walk towards it and when the lights go out (and turn back on), go into the room on the right (the room with the deep freeze). 

Interact with the eye on creepy picture on the wall.

Leave this room and go left, past the doorway leading to the stairs.

Turn right at the corner and  go down to where the blue draped cloth and mannequin are. 

In the pile of... stuff... is another creepy picture. Look at it.

Go back towards the room with the Deep Freezer in it and this time, go through the white door with the two creepy looking eyes on it.  

Interact with the Wheelchair. 

When you regain control, you'll be back in the Hospital. 

 

 

Go through the door below the EXIT sign and go right. 

Go straight and you'll see a figure in the hallway. Wait for him to move, then follow after him. 

Stop when you get to the EXIT sign. For this next part, you need to be as quiet as possible, so crouch down with :l3:

Make your way through the narrow path between the half-naked people and pick up the Staircase Key on the ground.

Go back through the people, stand up, and sprint straight down the hallway (not the way you came).  

When you reach the EXIT sign, you'll gain some company behind you, so quickly sprint to the door by the now red light and use the Staircase Key on it to open it up. 

Go down the stairs until you reach the two vending machines. 

Go through the double doors just past them. 

Go straight down the hallway, then right when it ends. 

Go right when this hallway ends.

Go straight and some lights ahead of you should turn on.

On the right will be some green-ish curtains. Take the hallway to the right just after these.

Immediately on your right will be a slightly opened office "Medical Records Office' (there are some footprints leading into it).

Go inside and on the desk in the back is a tape recorder. Interact with it to listen to the recording. (B) Psychological Evaluation

Exit this room, go left just a smidgen, then continue down the hallway you were previously walking down.

Just before the double doors, go right. 

On the left will be an open door with a glowing red light (Emergency Only light). Go inside this room.

Pick up the Basement Staircase Key on the desk.

Leave the room and, while sprinting, go left. 

Go right and interact with the double doors leading to the courtyard. 

Go through the double doors on the other side of the courtyard. 

While sprinting again, go right, then right again at the vending machines. 

When you reach the EXIT sign on the left, go between two racks and you'll see a well-lit door on the left.

Use the Basement Staircase Key to open it and go inside. 

When the lights turn back on, go down the stairs (pick up the Flashlight on the way) and then left. 

Just before the brown door at the end of the hallway is another brown door to the right. Go through the door on the right first. You'll be in a Locker Room. 

On the left side of the locker room is the Control Room Key sitting on a chair. Pick it up.

Leave this room (you should hear all sorts of banging going on) and the other brown door will now be open.

Go inside and interact with the hole in the left wall to climb into the 'tunnel'.

Follow the path and when you jump out, go left and around the divider/curtain and use the Control Room Key to open up the white double doors at the end of the hallway.  

Go inside and follow the hallway and through the next set of double doors. 

Follow the next hallway all the way to the control panel. 

Press the button (a light will go from red to green). 

Leave this room, back through the hallway, and back through the double doors (the cloth divider will be directly in front of you).

 

 

Go left at the divider/curtain, then left at the end of the hall. 

There will be 3 sets of double doors at the end of this hall - one set directly in front of you, one set to the left, and one to the right. Go through the doors on the left. 

Go into the first room on the right and through the open doorway immediately on the right. 

Follow the hallway all the way and go through the last door on the left (you'll end up in a Laundry Room). 

In the back of the room is a Dryer with a green light on it.

Open up this dryer and pick up the Employee's Magnetic Card

Leave this room all the way back through the double doors (you'll pass through two sets of double doors). 

Go back down the hallway, past the hallway you came up through, and you'll eventually see a lift/elevator on the left. 

Use the Employee's Magnetic Card on the panel to open it up. 

Remove 1 body from the Elevator/Lift. When you do, Rakkan will appear. Run one full loop around the hallway to get rid of him. 

When you get back to the Elevator/Lift, remove the rest of the bodies. 

When they're all out, go inside the elevator/lift. A cutscene will start to play. 

 

 

When the doors open, carefully make your way through the people (crouch with :l3:). 

This next part will vary for everyone, but the goal is to get to a door with a lot of EXIT signs around it. The path you take will depend on the creepers and where they pop out from. 

Sprint your way in and out of the hallways, avoiding the half-naked creepers chasing you.

If you end up with one in front of you, you can usually fake them out to get by - you can also lure them into some of the rooms and run around them that way.

You should eventually see a drinking fountain in front of you. 

Turn right at this, then left, and take the first hallway to the right. 

Go to the end of this hallway, then turn left. 

You should see a lot of EXIT signs surrounding a door in front of you.

Interact with the door and go inside the room.

Interact with both doors (they'll be jammed). 

Wait a little bit and eventually a lot of creepy eye drawings will appear.

Wait for the cutscene to play out and when you regain control, you'll be back in the House. 

 

 

When you regain control, go through the door.

You should see a tentacle of sorts on the ground. Follow this all the way upstairs and go left. 

When the light turns off (and then back on), jump off the balcony. 

Go through the double doors leading to the Dining Room. 

Interact with the eye on the creepy painting on the left wall.

Go through the kitchen area, through the doors, and upstairs to the second floor. 

Go into the Master Bedroom and interact with the eye on the creepy painting.

Leave the Bedroom and  go into the Bathroom.

Open the shower curtain and interact with the eye on the creepy painting.

Leave the bathroom and go right down the hall (towards the grandfather clock). 

Open the last door on the right and interact with the Wheelchair. 

When you regain control, you'll once again be back in the Hospital. 

Go through the EXIT door and go right. 

Follow the hallway as it turns left and then turn left again at the EXIT sign. 

Go towards the man who will point to the right, so do as he says and go right.

Go through the double doors at the end of the long hallway.

Go left and follow the hall as it turns right. 

Go right at the glowing red light.

Go right at the next glowing red light. 

Go through the brown door directly in front of you.

Interact with the panels on the right (the bottom light on the left panel should turn green). 

 

 

Head back the way you came (left at the first EXIT sign then right at the second EXIT sign). 

Interact with the last door on the left (Room 05).

When you regain control, go inside the room and pick up the Observation Room Key

Leave this room and go right, then left at the red glowing light. 

Go right at the next glowing light, then immediately left. 

Use the Observation Room Key on the door to open it and head inside. 

Interact with the Flashlight on the table. 

When you regain control, leave this room and head right (towards the glowing red light).

Take the immediate left (all the lights will turn red). 

Go right, right again, and right at the end of the hallway.

Immediately on your right will be an open door. Go inside this room. 

Interact with the toilet in the last stall to receive a 'Handle to an Electric Box'. 

Leave this room and go right, through the brown door. 

Go left and into the open door on the left, at the end of the hallway. Try to leave.

 

 

When you regain control, pick up the Flashlight

Go through the hole in the wall. 

Keep following the path all the way to the TV at the end. 

When you regain control, you'll be inside a large room with a lot of medical carts, beds, tvs, etc. Rakkan will be in this room with you and will be chasing you around, so you'll need to do the next part a bit quick. 

When you can, go through the hole in the fence on the left. 

In a random location in the room will be a Knife. Run around the room and look on all the beds, carts, and chairs until you find it. 

Pick up the Knife

Make your way back to where you started in the room and there will be a large eyeball. 

Use the Knife on it. 

Go through the bloody tunnel and through the door at the end. 

 

 

Immediately on your right will be an Electric Box. Use the Handle to an Electric Box on it and switch it on (the light will turn green). 

Leave this room and go through the brown door immediately on your right. 

Go through the next open doorway and then left down the hall. 

Go right just after the drinking fountain and you'll come to another lift/elevator. 

Go inside and interact with the panel. 

When the door opens, head straight down the hallway and turn right at the double doors. 

Keep following this hallway until you see a slightly ajar brown door on the right. Go inside this room. 

When you regain control, push the large cabinet at the foot of the bed out of the way, revealing a hole in the wall. 

Go inside the hole and through the door at the end of the 'tunnel'. Watch the short cutscene when you get into the room. 

When you regain control, there will be a door in front of you with an eyeball on it. Turn around and the door behind you will now have an eye on it (if it doesn't, turn around a few more times until it appears).

Interact with the eye on the door. 

This will end Rakkan's Chapter. (G) Chapter: Rakkan

 

 

Turn around and jump down the hole in the floor. You'll be down in the Basement. 

On the floor directly below your feet is a VHS Tape (Arson) (6/7).

On the wall just next to you is what looks like a bunch of paint splatter. This is where we'll get the (B) Easy Way Out and (G) Void trophies.

Go left of the white wall. 

Turn left and straight down the hall to the Storage Room. 

Pick up the Sledgehammer.

Bring the Sledgehammer back to the white splattered wall. 

Make a manual save here. 

 

 

Break down the wall with the Sledgehammer.

Go through the hole, all the way down the stairs and through a door.

Interact with the gun on the table. 

Choose to aim the gun at your head. 

Fire. (B) Easy Way Out

 

 

When you regain control, go down the stairs, left, then through the door directly in front of you.

Go through the kitchen through the door to the left of the stove.

Go down the stairs and immediately left (before you go through the door). 

Go through the door on the other side. 

Directly in front of you will be the hole in the wall.  

Go through and repeat the process of shooting yourself. 

Repeat this 5 more times so you've used all the bullets in the gun.

Repeat this 1 more additional time (there won't be any bullets, but you'll still "shoot" yourself). 

When you regain control, you'll be down inside a well.

Walk around in the darkness until the credits start to roll. You can't skip them but you can hold OPTIONS to speed them up. (G) Void

 

 

Reload your save file. 

Facing the hole in the wall, turn around and go through two doors. 

Go left, then left again before you go into the TV area. 

Go inside the room on the left (it'll be a closet with a Water Heater in it). 

On a box just to the right of the Water Heater is the last VHS Tape (Greed) (7/7) (G) Dwayne's memento master

 

 

Head back upstairs, through the door on the left, and upstairs to the second floor.

Go into the bathroom. 

Pick up the Safe Key in the sink.

Exit the bathroom and go left, then immediately left, into the Study/Office.

Use the Safe Key on the Safe. 

Pick up the piece of paper (Room 302).

Exit this room and go downstairs.

Go through the door just past the radio and downstairs.

Go through door at the bottom and then left.

Turn left at the Electrical Room.

Interact with the door on the right at the end (it'll be labeled Room 302). (S) Dance, dance

 

 

Go back the way you came, back up the stairs, and towards the front door.

Go right into the TV Room.

VHS Tapes / Mirror Mask / 10 on the 10th

 

 

 

We're going to do the VHS Tapes in alphabetical order here.

 

ADDICTION:

Watch the VHS Tape labeled ADDICTION.

Eject the tape and store it in the box next to the VHS Player (this way it's out of your inventory and you don't accidentally click on it again later).

Leave the TV Room and head upstairs. 

Go into the Master Bedroom and through the hole in the floor. 

Remove the blanket from the 'hump' on the bed. 

Go straight past the bed and you'll end up in a sitting room of sorts. 

Interact with the empty chair to sit down.

Interact with the cup and drink it when your "friend" tells you to take a sip.

When the bodies appear, take another drink when you friend tells you to take another sip. 

When instructed, take a third sip.

And a fourth.. 

When the TV turns off, take a final sip. 

After the fifth drink the Mask Piece (1/7) will appear. You'll automatically pick it up. (B) Mirror mask

Go back towards the bed and up the ladder on the right.

Leave the Bedroom and go back downstairs.

Go into the TV Room.

 

 

AFFLICTION: 

Watch the VHS Tape labeled AFFLICTION VHS in the VHS Player to watch it. 

Eject the tape and store it in the box next to the VHS Player (this way it's out of your inventory and you don't accidentally click on it again later). 

Go left through the door past the radio. 

Go downstairs and through the door at the bottom. 

Pick up the Crowbar in the Storage Room. 

If you're short on lighters, pick up 1 or 2 from the Electrical Room down here.

Go back upstairs and left into the hallway.

Go through the door on the left in the hallway.

Use the Crowbar on the ground to create a hole. 

 

 

Go through the tunnel and through the "safe" door at the end.

Go straight and turn right at the end. 

Follow this path all the way to a blinking light. 

Press the button a machine will turn on below you.

Go back the way you came and take the first left. 

Take the left at the end, through some steam, and down to another "safe" door. Go through it. 

Go up the stairs to the left and follow the path to a set of open double doors on the left. 

Follow them straight and to the right. You'll end up in a large cafeteria room.

On the right is a red light. On the counter just to the left of this is the Key tagged Lewis Taylor. Pick it up. 

 

 

Backtrack just a little bit until the lights start flashing, then go back to the Cafeteria.

Go to the other side of the Cafeteria and above the table on the right is a vent. 

Interact with it to climb up inside. 

Follow the vent to end and out the other side. 

Go down the stairs and straight across, up the stairs on the other side. 

Follow this path through some double doors on the left (you'll end up in a locker room). 

 

 

Take the first left, then the immediate right. 

Interact with the bloody locker on the left. 

Pick up the Employee's Magnetic Card

Leave the locker room and go back down the stairs. 

Turn right and use the Magnetic Key Card on the panel next to the door. 

Go through the door at the end. 

Cross the pipe to the well in the center. 

When you regain control, you'll be back inside the house. 

Interact with the Water Heater to pick up the Mask Piece (2/7).

Exit this room and go left. 

Go through the door on the right and up the stairs. 

Go left and then through the door on the right so you're back in the TV Room. 

 

 

GREED: 

Watch the VHS Tape labeled GREED.

Eject the tape and store it in the box next to the VHS Player (this way it's out of your inventory and you don't accidentally click on it again later).

Leave the TV Room and go through the door past the Radio.

Go downstairs and through the door at the bottom. 

Go right, then right just before the TV area. 

Turn left at the red light. 

Go into the first room on the right (the closet with the Water Heater inside).

 

Interact with the stool to climb up it. 

Interact with the vent to 'open' it. You'll fall and break the stool. 

Leave this room and go left. 

Follow the hallway as it turns right. 

Go into the last room on the left (the Electrical Room). 

Grab the Stool from the far side of the room.

Take it back to the closet with the Water Heater. 

Place it on the ground below the Vent. 

Use the stool to climb into the Vent.

Follow the Vent all the way to the end. You'll end up in an Office.

Interact with the paper on the desk to sign it.

Turn around and go to the door behind you (it'll automatically open).  

Make your way through the bodies and in the middle of the room will be a bird on the ground. 

Interact with it to pick up the Mirror Piece (3/7)

 

When you regain control, go through the door in front of you. 

Go left, then right. 

Go through the door on the right (the one with the stairs). 

Go upstairs and through the door on the left. 

Go through the door on the right, into the TV Room.

 


INDIFFERENCE: 

Watch the VHS Tape labeled INDIFFERENCE.

Eject the tape and store it in the box next to the VHS Player (this way it's out of your inventory and you don't accidentally click on it again later).

Leave the TV Room and head upstairs. 

Go into the Master Bedroom. 

In the closet just to the right of the bed is a 'Strange Frame'. Pick it up.

Leave the Bedroom and go downstairs.

Go through the door just past the radio and through the next one, into the Kitchen. 

Go down the right hallway and when you reach the door, turn around.

The top 'picture' on the right wall is another 'Strange Frame'. Pick it up.

Go through the door just next to you and through the Family Room. 

Go up the stairs and into the Progress Room.

Behind the chair on the left, leaning on the wall, is another 'Strange Frame". Pick it up.

Go back down one set of stairs and through the door on the left (you'll end up in the storage room above the Garage). 

Go downstairs into the Garage.

Go through the right door on the other side.

Follow the hallway through the other side and through the door immediately in front of you.

Go through the next door (at the foot of the stairs) and into the Storage Closet.

Follow the shelves around and pick up the next 'Strange Frame'.

Exit the Storage Room and go towards the TV/Phonograph. 

Go into the room to the right (the one with the Deep Freezer).

In the rafters just above the Deep Freezer is another 'Strange Frame'.

Exit this room and go into the Electrical Room on your right. 

On the box on the left, sort of ahead of you, is another 'Strange Frame'.

Leave this room and head back towards the Storage Closet. 

Go into the room just to the right (the one with the staircase leading up). 

Interact with the blank wall just to the right of the Staircase to place all the "Strange Frames' on it. 

Interact with these to open up a new door. 

Go inside the new area. 

Go through the door at the end. 

Take all 5 Pills to remove the chains on the door in front of you. 

Interact with the door in front of you.

Turn around and interact with all the doors to remove the chains again. 

Interact with the door that has the chains on it. 

Walk to the end of the hall.

Turn around until the papers fly away.

Follow the path in front of you (don't worry about the people) up and towards the light. 

The path will eventually turn right and lead you to a boat in some water. 

Get inside the boat.

Ride it towards the lighthouse in the back. 

When you get out, go up the stairs, towards the lighthouse. 

Go inside and make your way up the spiral staircase. 

Go up the ladder at the top. 

Interact with the picture on the table. 

When you regain control, pick up the Mask Piece (4/7) on the chair in front of you.

 

 

To get back to the TV room, go through the door and straight down the hallway. 

Turn left when it does, then turn right. 

Go through the door on the right and up the stairs. 

Go through the door on the left. 

The door to the TV Room will be on the left. 

 

 

NEGLIGENCE: 

Watch the VHS Tape labeled NEGLIGENCE.

Eject the tape and store it in the box next to the VHS Player (this way it's out of your inventory and you don't accidentally click on it again later).

Leave this room and go through the door past the Radio. 

Go down the stairs and through the door at the bottom. 

Go left towards the TV. 

On the wall just to the left of the TV are 3 pictures. In the middle picture is a Vinyl Record. Pick it up.

Put the Vinyl Record on the Phonograph. 

Interact with the Handle to play it. 

The wall to the left of the TV will disappear, revealing a Super Market. 

Go into the Super Market and interact with the Shopping Cart. 

Push it all the way to the end, but on your way, grab 5 Cartons of Beer off the shelves and put it into your cart.

When you reach the end of the aisle, go through the door. 

Interact with the chair in the middle to sit in it. 

Drink all the beer you can until you hurl. 

When you do, you'll automatically pick up the Mask Piece (5/7).

 

 

Leave the TV Room and the door will close behind you. 

Go back inside the TV Room when it does. 

 

 

PRIDE: 

Watch the VHS Tape labeled PRIDE.

Eject the tape and store it in the box next to the VHS Player (this way it's out of your inventory and you don't accidentally click on it again later).

Leave the TV Room and there will be a white table directly in front of you. 

Inside the glass cup is a Key with an Omega symbol attached to it. Pick it up.

Go down the hall and into the Garage. 

Go up the stairs on the other side. 

On the opposite side of this storage room is a red tool box. 

Push it out of the way to reveal a hidden room. (You picked up a Matryoshka Doll in this room earlier so it may already be open).

Go inside the hidden room and use the Omega Key on the metal box on the right. 

Pick up the Cryptic Handle

Exit this room, go back downstairs, and through the door just to the right of the one that leads to the main house. 

(You picked up a Neighbors Page here earlier so it might still be open). 

Go through the hallway and through the door on the other side. You'll end up in the Basement. 

 

Go right and down to where the blue draped cloth and mannequin are. 

To the left of them is a hallway, but just to the left of that are some storage shelves. 

Go between these shelves and on the floor is a hatch. 

Use the Cryptic Handle on the Hatch to open it up. 

Jump down into the room below. 

Using any stool in the room, break the larger window by the sink (climb up from the sink). 

Go towards the red light on the other side of the room. 

Pick up the Fire Axe

Go back through the window and to the opposite side of the room. 

There will be a tile wall with a few pieces missing/broken. 

Use the Fire Axe on this part of the wall. 

Go through the newly revealed tunnel.

 

You'll end up in the Garage. 

Go through the door to the right of the one leading to the main house. 

Go back down to where the hatch on the floor was. 

Interact with the basket to pick up the Mask Piece (6/7)

 

Head back upstairs and into the TV Room to start the next VHS Tape. 

 

 

PRISON: 

Watch the VHS Tape labeled PRISON.

Eject the tape and store it in the box next to the VHS Player (this way it's out of your inventory and you don't accidentally click on it again later).

Leave the TV room via the Dining Room. 

Go through the door on the left and down the stairs. 

Take the second right and stop when you go down the small set of stairs. 

You'll automatically look up at the light above you.

 

Continue around the corner in this hall and you'll reach a long narrow hallway with an exit sign at the end. 

Go to the EXIT sign and pick up the Sledgehammer

Stand under the first light and wait for the others (except for one other) to go out. You might die here. If you do, you'll respawn by the EXIT sign.

When you move around this next part, you'll be moving these two lightbulbs with you to light your path. 

There are four walls you need to break here; 2 on the left and 2 on the right. This is also where you'll get (B) Special Gift

With the Exit Sign to your back, start by breaking the first wall on the left (again, you'll need to move the lightbulbs to light your path). 

Break the first wall on the right. 

Break the second wall on the left. 

Break the second wall on the right. 

When you break this wall, go inside the hole you created and pick up the Crate inside. 

Carry this back with you to the first wall you broke. 

Use the Crate to climb up into the hole. 

On the right side of the room is a lit closet. 

Open up the Closet and look at the Axe on the wall. (B) Special Gift

 

Leave this room and go back towards the "intersection", then right towards the Exit Sign. 

Stuck inside the wall is the Mask Piece (7/7)(G) Mirror mask master

 

 

Leave this room and go back through the room with the blue draped cloth. 

Go up the stairs and go left, then turn right as the hallway does.

On the left will be a white painted wall with a door next to it. Go through the door.

On the other side of the hallway, go through the door immediately on the right.

If you need to do any other VHS Tapes, the TV Room will be straight down the hallway. If this is the last VHS Tape you picked up, go down the hallway to the right. 

Go up the stairs, all the way to the Progress Room. 

Interact with the Mask above the Altar. 

When you regain control, turn around and go back downstairs, towards the Front Door of the house.

Go through the door just past the Radio and down the stairs.

At the bottom of the stairs, turn around and go through the door across the room.

Go through the hole in the white wall. 

Go inside, down the stairs, and through the door. (G) Family Reunion

 

 

10 on the 10th

 

On the main menu, go to "Hall of Fame". 

Here, you need to find 5 pages to the Appreciation Book and put them back inside said book.

When you first spawn in, the first page will be behind you, around the corner and on the wall on the left.

Great guide as always, I have sent you a picture of a alt for the lil alien guy who is a sod to find lol. I reloaded some saves on first chap I would advise making some spare saves there so you can come back at the end if you don't get him. I used a mixture of both the text and video. My in game is about 9 hours but I am super slow as I like a root around the place 🤪]

 

Tv room (Upstairs) on the sideboard your see a load of picture same side as tv, I reload in chapter one

Thanks, I added in the picture of a alt place for the alien guy. Its a really cool game I love a horror game. Some really nice ones coming up so keep your eyes open!

Thanks a ton in advance for the guide,Velvet. This type of game is among the worst for me as I get incredibly immersed while you cannot simply defend yourself as in Dead Space (with a plethora of powerful weapons), leading to a constant feeling of dread.

 

One playthrough is probably all I can take so that just a single one is needed is really good news.

A heads-up regarding the key to room 302: following the video guide practically to the letter had me miss out on said key. After some researching, a possibility could be either quitting or reloading a save although I can't be certain.

 

Unfortunately, I had no save prior to finishing the third and final chapter, so I'm forced to do another play through.

 

Because of that, the guide author should probably put out a warning.
