Took me 36 hours without using any guides (you do not need one anyway). Can be done in less if you skip the dialogues, but you will be skipping the main feature of this game which is its story.

I would agree with the above comment!  I LPed it, so I read a lot of the files out loud and did not skip any cutscenes - without all of that, I would say around 40ish hours.

No need for a guide!  Really easy platinum if you are willing to put in the hours.  Even the battles can be switched to easy (i.e. "I just want to enjoy the story" mode), so there is no real way to get stuck.

Not sure how much time passed having the game on pause, but my final save said 48 hours.

It took me a bit under 23 hours to obtain the . It largely depends on your reading speed and which difficulty you play Destruction mode on. I have a pretty average reading speed and I played Destruction mode on Casual difficulty.

It took me just over 33 hours to get the Platinum.

 

That was without skipping dialogue and playing Destruction on Casual.
