Strawberry Vinegar is a very cute, short Visual Novel, created and published by both Ebi-Hime and Ratalaika Games. You're dropped into a small, quaint family, living in small-town Japan, made up by Yuki, your famous actress mother; Kazaki, the insecure, sensitive, stay-at-home Dad; and you, a nine year old girl with curly pink hair named Rei. Sadly it seems Rei has no friends and appears far too mature and cynical for such a young child, but of course, little does she know that her life is about to change.

 

After another hard, lonely day at school, Rei comes home and quickly discovers something quite shocking – a blonde girl, hiding in the fridge, eating all of Rei's homemade cookies, but this girl isn't your run-of-the-mill, average girl. She's actually a demon who is, well, essentially on vacation in the human world. She threatens to reap Rei's soul if she doesn't let her stay and make her yummy treats daily. What choice do you have?

 

 

 

IMPORTANT: This game does not auto-save, so if you don't plan to do this in one sitting, make sure you manually save. You can save at any time via the menu by pressing > Save, or by pressing in-game.

 

Like most VNs, the gameplay is simply made up of reading, choosing from multiple dialogue options, and experiencing several endings. In total, Strawberry Vinegar has 6 Endings (2 Good and 4 Bad), all of which are required for the Platinum. Thankfully however, they're fairly short.

 

Note that you can do these Endings in just about any order you want, so if you prefer to switch some, that's entirely up to you.

 

The following is a walkthrough detailing the shortest method to get all endings and thus the platinum. It will take you through the order of all options you need to make and where all of the trophies are earned along the way. For clarity's sake, I am not including the option not chosen at that moment, however you will see which of the two the selected option is before each line in as either [OPT 1] or [OPT 2].

You can access the Settings at from from the Title Menu > Options or at any time in-game by pressing . For the fastest method (skipping everything), set your preferences as shown here:
