Gave it a 3/10 mainly due to the fact that you have to complete the game more than once. Technically, one full play through and another one for weapon/skills upgrades which really was more time-consuming rather than difficult.

Pretty straightforward platinum in my opinion.

Having multiple playthroughs shouldn’t increase the difficulty. It doesn’t make it more difficult, just more time consuming.

Time consuming doesn't equal to difficulty.

I don't like that the game forces you to play a complete second play through in order to get all collectibles and upgrades, because doing chapter select is a mess unless you do a manual save on the last chapter.

2/10. Play on the lowest difficulty and have a collectible guide as there’s A LOT of them. After that you need a half play through to get all the upgrades.

Even if they had difficulty trophies, part 2 has no online trophies which in opinion were the hardest to get in part 1.

1/10? Seriously. Even with the accessibility options all set to make life as easy as possible some people are going to struggle with the fight scenes and other interesting encounters. So the whole game is practically a 1/10 but the fights, encounters, dodging, etc make it a 3/10. IMO!

The only somewhat difficult part is the late game hospital basement battle. All else is easy.

That was pretty easy for me on moderate. Probably my absolute favorite moment in either game too. Just have a little farther to go and I'll have finished my first playthrough.

Don't see this being more than a 2. Had to replay a section and did it on very light because I missed a collectable and didn't want to wait for the second playthrough to get it, that difficulty is a joke with auto aim and all the accessibility options turned on.

I gave...

The Last of Us (PS3) a 6

For this, a 3 works. 1s are reserved for games that can be done without a guide. If you look at a guide, it can't be a 1 in my eyes. 2s are games that require a guide, but don't challenge you in the slightest. So a 3 works for me as there was some semblance of a challenge. Moderate was still intense, and I died a lot. Beyond that, the game doesn't ask to exert yourself too much. Nor does it force you to play a specific way. It's a game that you can make however difficult you want it to be. For me, I had a 3 experience :)

Also gave this game a 3 - I mean, you can nerf it down to a 2 if you turn an all the accessibility options, but it goes against the feel and tone of the game if you don't actually need those options in the first place. A bit sad that the trophies aren't more challenging, but a very rewarding journey nonetheless.

My first playthrough was on hard difficulty, and that was 3/10. Playing on very easy is probably 2/10, could be even 1/10 using the different accessibility options available. I recommend starting the game at least on moderate, because the game is easy and you can change the difficulty setting any time you want. I did a clean up on very easy.

I gave it a 2. On Very Light with all the accessibility options for combat turned on, along with the item/enemy ping and infinite breath while under water turned on makes the whole thing a joke. I might do a 3rd run on survivor with that stuff turned on out of curiosity of how easy it makes even that. Invisible while prone makes stealth sections rather simple, even annoying stalkers can be snuck up on that way.

This is a 2/10, I played on moderate but turned it down to very light for NG+ to speed through it.

Even on moderate the game isn't hard at all, resources were still plentiful, most of the time if I broke stealth I'd shoot my way out anyway, if you played on very light from the start it's a complete joke.
