There are two collectibles – pumpkins and morphing objects. They are almost always on the main screen view but a few are in zoomed windows. I will write in parentheses what the morphing object to look for is. The pumpkins look like jack o lanterns, are not always orange and are really big and hard to miss.

 

Keep in mind that you will need to do eight minigames in under 60 seconds. This is pretty doable (it's 60 seconds each, not 60 seconds total, like other Artifex Mundi games) but I've still put warnings in the walkthrough where you'll want to read the solution before trying the minigame. If you're worried, quit the game to the main menu to trigger the autosave before trying the minigames.

 

Since we're playing on Casual, just click around like crazy whenever you're in an HO scene.

 

Don't use hints during HO scenes and don't skip the minigames. Also, :up: is your enemy in this game so don't press it!

Move stuff around to match the drawing, then pick up the two glass clovers that are revealed

Click board the cat was blocking until you reveal swallow symbol, then back out

Dreamcatcher – Bear

 

Three rounds – Click on the dreamcatcher whatever symbols do not appear anywhere on the bear's side.This is randomized. In the picture below, I would choose the bottom right symbol, because neither of those symbols appear on the bear's side

Mighty Magician (S) and Apprentice (B) unlocked. You may also unlock Witty Fellow (S) here if you did the cake minigame and this one quickly enough.

 

Quit to Main Menu (autosave) and back up your save. We're going for No Help Needed (S) and Precise Seeker (S) in the next scene.

 

In the below picture, I've just numbered the items – By clicking, you'll get an item that needs to be used with the next numbered item. Eventually you'll brush the doll's hair and be able to pick up the hairpin, which will end the HO scene. If you make a mistake, hard close the game (don't quit to main menu) and you'll be able to start from the beginning. If you finish in over 90 seconds, then reload your backup save.

Click until you get: map case, hammer, oilcan, fisherman's journal, rake, and nails

Use knight chesspiece with board

Solve chess puzzle – the knight moves in an L pattern. The game will give you the moves you can make. You can land on squares as many times as you want, so even if you're just randomly clicking, you'll solve it.

Use key, then oil can, with lock and bar

Click doors, zoom on coin slot and use coins with it

Read the next few lines for the upcoming minigame

This is one of those puzzles where you need to swap adjacent triangles to complete the picture.

The setup is randomized but since you're on Casual, the majority of the puzzle is already completed.

Solve rune minigame like before – Skilled Sorcerer (S) unlocked

In inventory, combine ropes and hook, click until you get hook and rope

Solve HO scene – Get smuggler's bag

Exit to Village Square, then Port

Solve HO scene – get fish

In inventory, zoom on smuggler's bag and click until you get firecracker

Zoom on crate under where the cat is (the crate with the rat next to it)

Use firecracker, then candle, with side of crate

Use hammer with crate x2

Click until you get five boards and an organ key

In inventory, zoom on ladder. Add boards (put them in the outlined spots), then nails, then hammer

Use ladder with cat

Zoom on cat, then use fish with it – Claw-Some Pal (B) unlocked

Exit back to Village Square, then Inn

Make sure only the inner ring is selected. Use :r2: and :l2: to align the two pieces

Press :cross: so the outer ring is selected, then hold :r2: until 280 is outlined

 

I unlocked Faster than Lightning (S) here, but you still have about 2/3 of the game to do it, so don't worry too much if it hasn't unlocked yet. Hopefully you've at least unlocked Witty Fellow (B) by now.

Let the left meter fill up to anywhere between 2-4 hits, then press :cross: when the bar is in the red portion of the other meter. If you're on 4, you can't wait too long or you'll take damage. Repeat until boss is defeated – Grand Master (G) and Monster Master (G) unlocked during cutscene

Pick up gear and rubberband

Use corkscrew handle with corkscrew, then pick it up – Get paperclip

In inventory, zoom on paperclip and click it a few times, then add wire and click it a few times – Get saw

Exit back to Jail

Pick up cigar cutter and lace, then back out

Use saw with chain on left wall

And zero indication of if this is one of the eight minigames needed to be completed in 60 seconds. At this juncture I had/have no idea if there are ONLY 8 and if this one must be done in 60 seconds. "Casual" difficulty or not, this puzzle is extremely easy to get confused.

Very true dude, very true. I know exactly what you mean. I do like her walkthroughs for the most part and I do appreciate that she takes the time to write them. With that being said, however, I've been following her walkthroughs for these Mundi games for years and there are always two things that I wish she'd do differently:

 

1) Be a bit more specific or a bit more informative sometimes (by doing so concerns such as yours, Bouch, would've been avoided) and...

 

2) Add completed pictures to the puzzles (or at the very least to the more confusing/complicated ones). It would make it sooo much easier and faster on the player.
