Introduction

Is It Wrong to Try to Pick Up Girls in a Dungeon? Infinite Combate is a fairly basic dungeon crawler RPG that mostly follows the events of the first season of the anime of the same name, along with some parts based on the first half of the Sword Oratoria spinoff. As you might expect, most of your time will be spent in the dungeon. With good equipment, solid tactics, and a fair bit of grinding, a Platinum trophy can be yours!

At the time of the original writing, the only English release was the East Asian version, and some of the translation work can be pretty clunky. Information has been updated to conform to the Western release, but there may be some minor discrepancies, such as the spelling of certain characters' names.

Walkthrough

Step 1: Play through the story.

The chapters will alternate between Bell and Ais, at least until Ais runs out of chapters. You will almost certainly unlock several other trophies along the way, but the story-related ones are guaranteed.

After completing Step 1, you will earn:

(B) First Item Pick Up

(S)(H) Bell Cranel - Chapter 8 Complete

(S)(H) Bell Cranel - Chapter 9 Complete

(S)(H) Bell Cranel - Final Chapter Complete

Step 2: Post-Game.

After defeating the final chapter of Bell's story, you will unlock the post-game, which opens up many new options that you didn't have available until now. Along with an additional two pages of Skill Sheets, you will unlock access to challenge storyline bosses as much as you like, the option to switch between playable characters at will, and a trio of special new dungeons with rewards you're going to need. Clearing these dungeons will unlock bonus scenes, along with points you can use to go on dates with some of the people you've met along the way. This is the most challenging part of the game, and it will probably take up more time than beating the main story did.

After completing Step 2, you will earn:

[spoiler=1]

The main story isn't especially difficult. Learn your basic moves, make good friends with the dodge button, and don't be shy about using an item when you need to. If the dungeon is too much of a challenge, try visiting your goddess at your familia and updating your status with new skill sheets.

Don't be shy about buying a more powerful weapon or sturdier armor. Enhancing your gear also goes a long way. For most of the story, your biggest threats will be status effects and bosses, in that order. Healing items and well-timed dodges will get you through just about any challenge you might face. On top of that, your stats will improve with every storyline mission you complete.

Clear the twelfth chapter overall and the sixth (and final) for Ais. Story-related and cannot be missed.

[spoiler=2]

Fighting as Ais will seem much different at first. Her controls aren't much different, but her stats are far more impressive. She fights tougher enemies and gains higher rewards, she can use magic from the beginning, and she has access to powerful support characters. You'll most likely find it a lot easier to play as Ais. Just don't get too used to playing as her. The story missions will have you playing as Bell much more often. Enjoy your time with her for now.

744c6ded-6e3e-418d-8903-4a93a66087a0.jpg First Weapon Purchase (B)

Buy a weapon.

Buy a weapon from the Market to replace your starting blade. While the default options may look nice at first glance, unlocked weapons will offer stats that put those to shame. It's your money, though. Buy what works for you. You'll most likely buy several upgrades as you progress through the game.

b5d768fa-57b9-4298-a8f0-e2afbadbbd89.jpg First Item Purchase (B)

Buy an item.

Plenty of cheap healing options are available at the Market. Buy what you need, and don't forget to equip it! This will probably be one of your first trophies.

b5d768fa-57b9-4298-a8f0-e2afbadbbd89.jpg First Weapon Unlock (B)

Unlock a weapon by selling items to the Smith.

While at the Market, talk to the Smith owner, and he'll tell you that if you sell enough of certain monster drop items, it will make new weapon and armor options appear in the shop. Depending on the item, you may need to sell 20, 10, or 5 of them to unlock a new piece of equipment. Fair warning: not every item will get you an unlock. Once you've unlocked an item, it'll appear in your Buy options. Unlocked weapons will probably surprise you with their high stats... and high prices.

b5d768fa-57b9-4298-a8f0-e2afbadbbd89.jpg First Item Pick Up (B)

Pick up a monster drop item.

Items appear on the dungeon floor as bags that you can pick up. Grab one and clear your current assignment, and this trophy will be yours! It's possible this trophy might also pop based on Quest Rewards or as a drop from defeating a monster. However, you won't get to claim the item until you reach the exit of the dungeon. You won't get to claim any items if you run out of HP or escape the dungeon from the Pause menu. This will almost certainly be one of the first two trophies you get.

b5d768fa-57b9-4298-a8f0-e2afbadbbd89.jpg First Quest Clear (B)

Complete your first quest.

Unlike story missions, Quests are available in the Guild. Select any of the assignments Eina has available for you (including the Practice missions), and see them through to the end. This will almost certainly be one of the first two trophies you get. In fact, you may get this at the same time as First Item Pick Up.

4d5c2f3e-abb3-4126-9225-66b399cd880e.jpg First Date (B)(H)

View a dating event.

[spoiler=3]This option unlocks in Post-Game. The guild now has three new dungeons available: Grief, Despair, and Anger. Defeating enemies in these three dungeons rewards you with Going Out Points along with Skill Points, which you can use to spend your free time with people you've met on your adventure. After spending a paltry 10 points on your first date with the character of your choice, this trophy will pop. Of course, you'll need to go on all dates with all characters to 100% your galleries for two other trophies. You'll need 910 points just to go on every date with one character, and you'll have eight to choose from. And then there's the dates for the other playable character. All told, you'll need to earn a total of 7,280 points as Bell, and another 7,280 as Ais.

4d5c2f3e-abb3-4126-9225-66b399cd880e.jpg Hot Spring Experience (B)(H)

View a hot spring event.

[spoiler=4]Hot spring events are a post-game feature exclusive to Ais. Unlike dates, you won't need any points to make these happen. These are much trickier. There are three sets of post-game dungeons: Grief, Despair, and Anger. You'll notice each one of these has ten levels. Reach the tenth level of any of these dungeons, and you'll unlock levels 11-20 of that dungeon. Reach the exit at level 20, and you've almost unlocked your first hot springs event! Now all you'll have to do is fight a powered up version of one of the bosses. Defeat it, and your first hot spring event will start immediately afterward. Of course, if you want 100% completion, you'll have to fight an even more powerful version of that boss for a second hot spring event, and that means going another 10 levels deeper into the dungeon first. There are a total of six characters with hot springs events, which are unlocked after clearing levels 20 and 30 of each post-game dungeon, then fighting upgraded bosses.

2afee0b5-792c-44d0-949a-35cac36ce9fc.jpg Co-sleeping Event (B)(H)

View a co-sleeping event.

[spoiler=5]See Hot Spring Experience for the basic requirements, because you'll have to do the same thing there, only while playing as Bell.

b8a91749-96f5-482c-b875-904b886c3c71.jpg Skill Sheet Acquired (B)

Acquire a skill sheet.

Skill sheets are one of the key ways you'll upgrade your character. This option exists under Familia. Spend the Skill Points you've earned in battle to select upgrades to your stats. This option is sometimes unavailable in the main story while your goddess is not around. After buying your first upgrade and exiting out to the Familia menu, this trophy should pop.

6b2f61ef-920d-46c1-a7e0-e2cdb37b6656.jpg Monster Killer (B)

Defeat 100 monsters.

You will most likely earn this trophy during the main story.

cf250176-e35a-4f2a-8cf0-0cf9889ebe5a.jpg Monster Buster (S)

Defeat 500 monsters.

You may earn this trophy during the main story, but you will have certainly earned it in the course of grinding for other trophies in post-game.

ac23fe44-484d-4510-84f9-594056f6a5da.jpg Item Getter (B)

Pick up 100 items.

See Item Collector.

3efe312e-ad24-49da-baba-b1529acf36dc.jpg Item Collector (S)

Pick up 500 items.

You will frequently get drop items upon defeating monsters. This trophy is easily gotten while grinding for other trophies. Remember that these drops do not count until you clear the dungeon. 500 is a surprisingly small number. You'll probably have this trophy before clearing the main story.

c5b5cace-da3c-480b-9f6c-e929e4f4664a.jpg Magic Stone Getter (B)

Pick up 30,000 magic stones.

See Magic Stone Collector

0e34b4fa-6561-4728-a6b2-7332e566f584.jpg Magic Stone Collector (S)

Pick up 50,000 magic stones.

Magic stones are awarded with every monster kill. Upon clearing a dungeon, they will automatically be sold for Valis. Tougher monsters drop more stones. You can also get more magic stones by boosting this number with skill sheets and by having Lili as a support character.

214bbefe-019a-492b-9ea3-09b236c58b18.jpg Valis Getter (B)

Obtain 100,000 total valis.

See ValisCollector. You may well get this before Magic Stone Getter.

1beff086-6ce8-4f01-b9df-ffd97daf985c.jpg Valis Collector (S)

Obtain 1,000,000 total valis.

See Magic Stone Collector for the basics of how to raise Valis. However, you can also earn extra Valis by selling items. You can expect to earn both this and Magic Stone Collector around the same time. The trophy is cumulative. You do not need to have 1,000,000 Valis at once.

a6f37a7e-8ae1-4d44-8cfd-d48fb594b40e.jpg CG Gallery Complete (G)

Complete the CG gallery.

Aside from completing the main story, you will also need to see all hot springs and co-sleeping events as well as most dating events. See First Date, Hot Spring Experience, and Co-sleeping Event for more details. Once that's done, the trophy will only unlock when you look at the completed CG gallery.

30b34eee-d9fb-4517-a765-7ef6c3d3134a.jpg Scene Gallery Complete (G)

Complete the scene gallery

See CG Gallery Complete. You will need to complete all date events with all characters to fill the entire Scene Gallery (not all dates have CGs). You will also need to have selected every possible support character at least once. You'll need to select Bell as a support for Ais (and vice versa) in post-game. This trophy will not unlock until you inspect the completed Scene Gallery.

8b07a638-5d04-4569-9842-aa6efcf11dc1.jpg Sound Gallery Complete (S)

Complete the sound gallery

This is the easiest gallery to complete. After finishing the main story, go on a date and visit each of the three new post-game dungeons, and you will most likely have every song in the gallery unlocked. This trophy will not unlock until you inspect the completed Sound Gallery.

6f626da6-00d7-4f97-bc84-cca052df23a8.jpg Adventurer Can't Take Risks (B)

Visit the Guild 50 times.

If you want to, you can visit and leave the Guild a bunch of times repeatedly, but this trophy should occur naturally while going for 100% completion.

93dc3f82-aaf3-4cd0-a633-b28958dfad94.jpg Little Rookie (B)

Clear 50 quests.

See Record Holder

Clear 100 quests.

Complete the victory conditions for 100 selections in the Guild for this trophy. Quest type doesn't matter. You can select Practice 100 times in a row and unlock it.

0513b18e-2c11-45ac-b2cf-f465effc9f62.jpg Realis Phrase (B)

Unlock 25 skills (Bell).

Use skill points to buy 25 skill sheets in Bell's Familia menu. This trophy will unlock after meeting the conditions and exiting the Skill Sheet menu.

Here are a few tips to handle the toughest dungeons in the game.

Try to release the best armor and weapons and enhance them to +5. Sell 5 Hard Skin from Goliath to get you the best piece of armor in the game: Goliath's Robe. Selling 5 Red Eyes from Goliath will unlock the best large sword: Goliath's Hard Sword. If you prefer to stick to the default weapon types each character uses, the best dagger, Solitary King's Large Fang, comes from selling 5 Udeus's Bone Fragments, and the best sword, Rex Sword, comes from selling 5 Udeus's Black Blade. When you go into these dungeons, there are a few ways to tackle it. You can try to avoid combat as much as possible. As long as you reach the exit, nothing else matters. However, if you get cornered, you'll probably get hit hard. A slow, but relatively safe way to attack is exploiting the fact these dungeons don't have walls. You can hit most monsters from a distance using magic. If you run out of MP, get somewhere safe and hold still for ten seconds. You should have full MP once again. Finally, bring your best healing items. Medicinal herbs, potions, high potions, and elixirs are your best bet at reaching the exit alive. The more your skills boost your offense, defense, HP, and status resistance, the better. These dungeons are tough, but doable. All you have to do is survive.

6 points :):

1: Please use the Overview from the Guide Template Generator and leave it left aligned:

Overview:

  • Estimated trophy difficulty:
  • Offline trophies: 46 (28(B), 15(S), 2(G), 1(P))
  • Online trophies:
  • Approximate amount of time to platinum:
  • Minimum number of playthroughs:
  • Number of missable trophies:
  • Glitched trophies:
  • Does difficulty affect trophies?:
  • Do trophies stack?:
  • Do cheat codes disable trophies?:
  • Additional peripherals required?:

2: There are currently 2 stacks for this game i.e. Asia PS4 and JP Vita.

3: The introduction belongs below the Overview but above the Walkthrough.

4: The font size formatting has to be removed, because it doesn't transfer over to the main site and will screw with the overall page formatting when the Guide Team tries to load the Road Map so please stick to the default font size to avoid issues later on :).

5: Your signature needs removing from every post.

6: The relevant polls have now been made so can be added to the Guide :).

Guide updated with official western release trophy names instead of the East Asian English translation version. I think I updated all the terminology correctly, but I hope they came up with a better name for "Going Out Points." Hopefully any discrepancies are so minor that they won't cause you any trouble.

I have one problem...in the sound gallery i miss the song between "acquathrone" and "soilsword" i've completed all 30 level of all 3 dungeons, made some event, bed and hot spring but it can' unlock

Honestly not sure what the issue there is. I unlocked everything by just progressing naturally. The only possibilities I can think of is that it might be tied to a specific floor of a practice mission or side mission. That or it's buried on a specific character's dating event, and you haven't progressed far enough on their path yet.

Again, these are just guesses. I have no idea when that song appears.

Spoiler

I'm playing through this game now for the platinum and wanted to share something that may be helpful for the CG Gallery Complete and Scene Gallery Complete trophies.  You don't have to have all dates completed within a save game -- what I mean is you can get 910 date points, save your game, and then go on a six dates with one person, load from your save, and then go on six dates with another, and so forth.  The game registers the scenes/CGs when you view them, so if you're finding it difficult to acquire enough date points by the end, you can use this method.  I'm still grinding to complete the skill sheets for Bell and Aiz, but I wanted to test this out before platinuming, and it worked!
