Voted a 5, the most frustrating thing about Supernova difficulty are the save mechanics, making treks across the bigger areas a suicide run each time, with the potential to lose 20 minutes of progress because of the obvious Fallout-esque mechanics and quirks.

That being said, a really fun game with great writing, definitely worth playing through twice, with at least one "dumb" playthrough to make it way more fun (including hacking the last boss fight console by shouting random numbers at the screen). Definitely worth checking out!

I would wote it a 5 in difficult.

It's not hard but more a challenge in supernova, "SPOILER" keep to dialog, stealth and long guns and it will go fine, as perks goes go for fast sprint, that way you can run past difficult areas..

Very nice game Obsidian, well done. (2 Bug and glitch free runtroughs)

Gave it a 4 (could be a 5 because I made the last mission very difficult on myself), just a piece of advice, you're going to need a specific ID cartridge and Hack and Lockpicking both on 100 and you can make it WAY easier.

I had Ellie and Parvati die on me there, their sacrifice will not be forgotten :(, no I am kidding after I got the trophy, I reloaded, lowered the difficulty and finished it again, so that ending never happened :D

Also, you need to keep tinkering with your weapons and armors constantly (every new area), so don't forget to do that. Would help you to get the Science to at least 60 to reduce the cost of tinkering and 100 is very helpful, especially because somehow, I could only find 3 or 4 weapons with high level at the end!

You also need high Hack early on, too, 40 is good I think to be able to buy restricted items and sell what you want from vending machines.

3/10 Took me 1 hour and a half to finish supernova using this

Even though i got the plat, I hated the game.

Bad performance, freezes a lot, low fps, horrendous loading times and graphically looks like a ps3 game.

Just trash.

And the fact that it got nominated for goty is insane.

But to be fair, i saw some gameplay on pc on highest settings and it looks and plays like a completely different game, so smooth.

60 fps better be the standard next gen.

Whoa! Site redesign. Nice.

The Outer Worlds platinum difficulty (with guides) 3

The Outer Worlds platinum difficulty (without guides) 8

The Outer Worlds Hard Crash Counter: 0 (F-N UNBELIEVABLE!)

The Outer Worlds is a good game. It's not on par with Fallout 3, or New Vegas, but still enjoyable IMO. What I didn't enjoy was my blind Supernova difficulty run. 4 hours of frustration is all it took to break me and force me to look up a guide. You've got to eat, drink, sleep and kill to keep yourself alive. I think that they forgot you’ve got to poo and pee too.

I only have 2 missable trophies to get so I'm voting now. This is no more than a 3. I did my full playthrough on normal difficulty so there can be a few spots where you can run into trouble if you're not careful or if you don't have the right setup. Pretty much all encounters become trivial once you get decent weapons for each enemy type and invest in the right skills and perks. For my supernova playthrough I followed the pacifist speedrun video so that was also trivial as you don't face any enemies (the hint is in the name). I did have trouble with the Gladys safe but managed it after a few tries. Overall it's an easy enough game.

4/10.

That's because I started on Supernova, which can prove rather tricky at the begining, but I don't like multiple playthroughs. Rather have one, but longer, with more fun & more role playing to craft my own story. Some misc trophies can prove little annoying, but it's nothing major. Very good game, doing the DLC's 4sure.
