iTunes Problem with Downloading Podcasts

I don't know how likely this is to get a response but is anybody else lately having problems with downloading podcasts via iTunes on Windows?

 

Up until the last month I've always gone to the podcast I want, clicked the 'Get' button and the podcast has downloaded with no problems however recently whenever I click the 'Get' button nothing happens and no download starts.

 

What makes this weird is that the Podcast in question (Attitude Era Podcast) lets me download the 4 most recent episodes but doesn't work for anything beyond that in the archive, likewise it seems the other ones I listen to (Podiots/Co-Optional Podcast) lets me download some episodes but not others.

 

I've tried on two different laptops (Windows 7/8.1) and with an old version of iTunes as well as the latest version but I cannot find a fix.

You're on the latest version of iTunes, right? And you only have Windows 7 and 8.1?

 

I have Windows 10 but I haven't tried downloading Podcasts to my PC.

 

I can try it tomorrow to see if it works for me... perhaps it's a compatibility issue between iTunes and Windows.

Just tried downloading a brand new podcast, had no issues.

 

iTunes Version 12.10.0.7

Windows 10 Pro Version 10.0.18362 Build 18362

 

Have you checked settings to make sure nothing is disabled?

Correct Slamma, I'm on the latest version of iTunes on two laptops (one running 7 and one running 8.1)

 

I don't have any problems downloading the latest 3/4 podcasts from the previously mentioned Attitude Era Podcast but anything older than King of the Ring 1997 just does not work when I press the 'Get' button, it seemingly all stated about a month ago but I haven't noticed any problems with anything else.

 

Are you signed in when you tried it Slamma? I don't have an account (never needed one) so am wondering if that might help even though I can download some without one.

Yes, I had several podcasts already downloaded when I looked. They were Podcasts I had subscribed to on my phone so I guess iTunes knew they needed to be downloaded.

 

First time I had opened the Podcast section within iTunes though.
