Introduction:

OVIVO is by definition a puzzle platformer that requires you to navigate a little black ball through massive pictures while collecting Morse dots and story symbols. You'll need to switch between black and white to help you progress through each level. As the black ball, you can roll on top of black surfaces and as the white ball, you roll "on top" of white surfaces. There are 9 levels to get through (10 including the introduction) and plenty of collectibles to get along the way. If you pick up all the symbols and all the dots, you will complete the story of OVIVO.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play through all the levels while focusing on collecting all of the Morse dots and the story symbols

The Morse dots are all visible from the main path so long as you are going for the story symbols. All 27 of these (and the trophies associated with them) are by definition missable but can easily be cleaned up either during or after you finish the game. If you're having trouble with locating any of the collectibles, please see The story is written for a full video walkthrough of the game.

After this step and if you have collected everything, you will earn:

(G) Morse

(B) The world was forgotten

(B) The rings of a tree

(B) If Order in space

(B) Destruction in chaos

(S) Freedom is slavery

(S) Ignorance is strength!

(S) Nothing is eternal

(S) It's borders are All!

(S) In the endless circle

(G) The end is the beginning

Step 2: Clean-up

This step is simply to be used as clean up. If you're missing any dots or symbols, you can tell from the main menu so replay any level you may need to in order to finish up the game. Please reference the individual symbol trophies for their locations as well as The story is written for a full video walkthrough.

After this step, you will earn:

(G) The circle is complete

(G) The story is written

(P) OVIVO Platinum

Trophy Guide

2e5.jpg  OVIVO Platinum (P)

Good job! Completed all tasks!

You've collected all the Morse dots and all the story symbols. Along with completing the story, you've also earned yourself the new Platinum trophy!

1b4.jpg  The world was forgotten (B)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the first level (not the introductory level). While it is missable, it's also incredibly hard to actually miss as it's along the main path. You'll pick up 6 Morse dots along the way to it (these are needed for The story is written), with the 6th one actually being right next to the symbol.

2vTydeo.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

0ba.jpg  Only symbols remained (B)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the first level (not the introductory level!). While it is missable, it's also incredibly hard to actually miss as it's along the main path. From the first symbol (for The world was forgotten), you'll pick up 4 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written), with the 4th one actually being right next to the symbol.

D3L5Qu5.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

66f.jpg  The rings of a tree (B)

Story symbol is collected

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the first level (not the introductory level!). While it is missable, it's also incredibly hard to actually miss as it's along the main path. From the second symbol (for Only symbols remained), you'll pick up 5 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written), with the 5th one actually being right next to the symbol.

QKWaShJ.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

aa2.jpg  If Order in space (B)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the second level. While it is missable, it's also incredibly hard to actually miss as it's along the main path. You'll pick up 1 Morse dot along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). There is actually another Morse dot right next to it, but you can grab it afterwards.

XBMsJOL.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

f56.jpg  Destruction in chaos (B)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the second level. While it is missable, it's also incredibly hard to actually miss as it’s along the main path. From the first symbol (for If Order in space), you'll pick up 4 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). It's a little funky to reach but you want to gain downward momentum so you fly under the "eyeball", allowing you to switch colors to enter inside it.

Q8GEN0z.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

c17.jpg  Questions eternal (B)

Story symbol is collected

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the second level. While it is missable, it's also incredibly hard to actually miss because it's along the main path. From the second symbol (for Destruction in chaos), you'll pick up 3 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written).

c82.jpg  Learning the Nothing (B)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the third level. This is one of the easier symbols that you can miss. You'll pick up 6 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). When you reach the area with the dot to the right of the ink blot:

UKi1Q8I.png

Keep propelling yourself up the black sections that are hanging down and you'll come across another dot. Climb up just a little bit more to find the symbol.

SsRjWal.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

b7c.jpg  Everything escapes from us (B)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the third level. From the first symbol (for Learning the Nothing), you'll pick up 2 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This is another one that can easily be missed as it requires you to go in the opposite direction of the correct-story path to get to it. You'll reach a part where the path goes left or right:

WY9W1B5.png

Take the left path. Keep following it down (as you pick up the 2nd morse dot) and you’ll eventually come to the area with the symbol.

x4oj5lX.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

335.jpg  Halves of the One (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the third level. From the second symbol (for Everything escapes from us), you'll pick up 2 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This can be missed depending on if you fall off the spinning shapes or not. When you reach the area where you have to cross the rotating squares and triangles -

xyrHitC.png

Try and stay as much on the top row as you can and you'll eventually come to a large triangle with the symbol inside of it. You need to propel yourself off the right side and land inside the black area of the triangle, underneath the white triangle the symbol is in.

fRxOyso.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

dd4.jpg  A tree crashing down (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the fourth level. You'll pick up 5 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This one is pretty hard to miss, because it's directly in the main story path. You'll pass over it first then eventually make your way towards it.

B2gclad.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

3c2.jpg  No one to hear its lonely fall (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the third level. From the first symbol (for A tree crashing down), you'll pick up 11 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). The symbol is in the same area as the 10th and 11th dots.

Ky5YYNl.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

29f.jpg  An act of silence (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the fourth level. From the second symbol (for No one to hear its lonely fall), you'll pick up 3 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This can be missed depending on if you don't float high enough when you’re on the flower (the symbol itself is at the very top of this section).

f92.jpg  A kitten is saved (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the fifth level. You'll pick up 9 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This one can be missed as it's hidden away from the main story path. After you cross the line of jellyfish (you'll be crossing them to the left), you'll come to an area where you need to ascend upwards through some white, galaxy-like circles:

EUJVKhg.png

The story path requires you to follow these around and to the right but instead, follow them all the way up and in the top left corner will be the symbol.

EN3jh0M.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

d33.jpg  Now fish kills its hunger (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the fifth level. From the first symbol (for A kitten is saved), you’ll pick up 1 Morse dot along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This one is incredibly hard to miss as it's on top of a gigantic, multi-eyed jellyfish you need to cross.

ZrSuYGe.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

d00.jpg  Bless in the voice (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the fifth level. From the second symbol (for Now fish kills its hunger), you'll pick up 10 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). The symbol is immediately after the 10th one. You WILL come to a part with a single, black circle with a spiral inside of it is patrolling up and down.

9IDBOCq.png

You need this to cross the gap to continue with the story but before you do, right the circle down and you'll come face to face with the symbol.

wRl2CkY.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

421.jpg  Garden full of life (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the sixth level. You'll pick up 3 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This one is a little easy to miss as the story path requires you to go above it, potentially preventing you from even seeing it. Early on in the level, you'll have to cross (to the left) some upside down, white jellyfish. Shortly after these, you will find the 3rd Morse dot. The story-path requires you to keep going left but instead, follow the white spiral downwards and you’ll see the symbol in the center of it.

5WKYXvJ.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

https://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9074/c78.jpg No fallen leaves anywhere (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the sixth level. From the first symbol (for Garden full of life), you'll pick up 5 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This one is hard to miss as it's in plain view of that 5th Morse dot. When you floating on the flower (and the arrowheads are flying across the stage), you'll need to head left. Just past the 5th dot is the symbol.

UQVCpHn.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

669.jpg  The garden is dead (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the sixth level. From the second symbol (for No fallen leaves anywhere), you'll pick up 4 Morse dots (possibly 5 depending on how high you go) along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). When you reach the area with the spirals with the long stems, make your way up and towards the center of them. You'll see the symbol inside one of the spirals.

5f0.jpg  The world is created (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the seventh level. You'll pick up 5 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This one is very easy to miss. The first 4 Morse dots are along the main path and when you get to the fourth one, you’ll notice it's lingering above a narrow pathway leading down.

8P7QLfY.png

Take this path down and you'll run into the 5th Morse dot. Keep following it down and you'll find the symbol.

7H7AS4e.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

89b.jpg  Under the feet of one (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the seventh level. From the first symbol (for The world is created), you’ll pick up 2 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). Both of these (as well as the symbol) will be in the area where your controls are reversed. After you pick up the 2nd dot, keep heading left and the symbol will be clearly visible in a large open area.

6ZK7ZNa.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

92e.jpg  Who marches forward (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the seventh level. From the second symbol (for Under the feet of one), you'll pick up 6 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). The 5th one is along the path you need to take to reach the symbol. After you pass through some pendulums and gears, the camera will pan out and you'll get to a pathway that has a line of inverted pendulums below it. Make your way to the last one on the right and you'll see the dot.

lla8J5t.png

To get there, you need to propel yourself off the high-right wing so you have enough momentum to get under the lower right corner of the white semi-circle the dot is in.

Pass along the inverted pendulums to the left and when you reach the final one, you’ll see the 6th Morse dot just past it. When you jump to get it, the symbol will become visible.

2HlbWld.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

2c7.jpg  War is peace (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the eighth level. You'll pick up 4 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). The symbol itself is easily missed as it's not visible from the main story path. When you reach dots 3 and 4, there will be a white box floating up and down. You want to aim yourself so you jump and land on the underside of the white box and then ride it down.

LxOOpUI.png

Pick up the 4th dot and continue going right and in the large white triangle is the symbol. Use the black galaxy ray to reach it.

cABYVSn.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

033.jpg  Freedom is slavery (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the eighth level. From the first symbol (for War is peace), you’ll pick up 9 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). The 7th dot will be inside a straight path leading up. At the top of this, you'll have the option of either going left or right. Go right (towards the 8th Morse dot).

UnaYbEs.png

Follow this path and you'll reach an area with a spinning circles. You need to traverse through these to make your way to the center, where the symbol is.

i5INkce.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

d4a.jpg  Ignorance is strength! (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the eighth level. From the second symbol (for Freedom is slavery), you'll pick up 5 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). After you make your way through the hexagons on the electrical strings, you reach an area where you can either go left or right. To the right is the story path and to the left are some black, galaxy-like squares that lead to the symbol. Make your way left (this is also towards dots 4 and 5).

dpq1wbM.png

Keep going left and you'll reach another area with some spinning circles, but this time there are also spikes. You need to carefully make your way to the center to pick up the symbol.

Ezko0dA.png

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy. Once you have it, go ahead and hit a spike to 'teleport' yourself out of the circles. It'll be much quicker than trying to get out yourself.

056.jpg  Nothing is eternal (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the first symbol you pick up in the ninth and final level. You'll pick up 5 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). This one is hard to miss as it's in plain sight, just under the 5th Morse dot.

b2c.jpg  It’s borders are All! (S)

Story symbol is collected

This is the second symbol you pick up in the ninth and final level. From the first symbol (for Nothing is eternal), you'll pick up 5 Morse Dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). As you make your way up the 3 falling platforms (with the falling stars on the left and right), go up as high as you can and you’ll see the symbol, just above the 5th dot.

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

3de.jpg  In the endless circle (S)

This is the third and final symbol you pick up in the ninth and final level. From the second symbol (for It's borders are All!), you'll pick up 3 Morse dots along the way to this one (these are needed for The story is written). You'll eventually come to a large maze which also houses the 2nd and 3rd dots. In the center of this maze is the symbol.

Collect the symbol to unlock the trophy.

665.jpg  The end is the beginning (G)

The game is complete

Story Related.

This trophy will unlock when you have completed the story and entered the area where the credits roll.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9074/d32.jpg The circle is complete (G)

All symbols are collected

In total, there are 27 symbols you need to collect. Their locations are all listed under their respective trophies but if you need more of a visual aid, please see The story is written for a full video walkthrough. You can go back and collect any you may miss along your initial playthrough so don't worry too much if you don't collect them all in one go. Once you have collected the 27th and final symbol, the trophy will unlock.

c8f.jpg  The story is written (G)

All dots are collected

In total, there are 150 Morse dots spread throughout the 9 levels and the introductory level. These are all visible from the main path so long as you are also going for the story symbols. You can check your progress on these by hitting :start: while in the level or, if you've already completed the level, but re-selecting the level from the main menu. On both of these screens, you'll see a line of circles either on the top (main menu) or the bottom (while in the level). If the circles are large, that means you have collected the dot:

RTA4U5k.png

If the circles are small, however, it means you have missed one:

i8Wt9z4.png

(In this example, there are 4 Morse dots missing from this level)

If you collect the story symbols as you go, you can use these as reference points. Their locations within the Morse dots are as follows (The "S"s are the symbols):

Level 1:

BX3pPXW.png

Level 2:

jQuHYv5.png

Level 3:

3SBHJhG.png

Level 4:

Gy1YHUy.png

Level 5:

Level 6:

jr6CgAo.png

Level 7:

HG2cw8Z.png

Level 8:

JnlkDsy.png

Level 9:

RTy42GV.png

Again, they are all incredibly hard to miss so long as you are also going for the story symbols. None are hidden away or any of the sort so there's a chance you'll get this without even trying. If you prefer to use a video to physically see all their locations, please see the following video. Once you have picked up the last Dot, the trophy will unlock.

https://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/9074/091.jpg  Morse (G)

First Morse dot is collected

You'll get this in the introduction level of the game. In total, there are 150 Dots to pick up and all are incredibly hard to miss. As soon as you pick up the first one (in the introduction level), the trophy will unlock.
