mcolwander90
My philosophy is that if you need to consult a guide, at any point, it can't be a 1. Though I suppose that philosophy developed after Wolf Among Us I still stand by it! Every Telltale game prior to this has been a 1 for me. By comparison, this game is far tougher than any other Telltale game. I was 99% sure I gave TWAU a 2 because of that philosophy, so I was originally going to give this a 3 to stay consistent. But now that I see I gave it a 1, I suppose I'll give this a 2. A 2 feels right. There are missables, collectables, either/or choice trophies, and some that require you to make a specific choice at one point, but not get the trophy until later in the episode. You'll have to create save points or you'll otherwise need to start the entire episode from the beginning (no section select). It's a game that requires some foresight if you want the smoothest road to platinum. Though that may take you out of the experience. Some annoying trophies, mostly in episode one. Unless you get them first try, you'll sit through unskippable dialog, which will make failing even more frustrating.
honda hoe
Voted 2/10 since it’s no longer an automatic “play game/get plat” trophy list this time around
Easty
2/10, still a very easy platinum even if you have some collectibles and missables.
twyz
Voted 2. Still an easy Telltale platinum, but you actually have to do things this time.
ReoJee
"Hardest" Telltale platinum I was a bit frustrated at one point, where you have to shoot rabbits - I missed 2-3 times and the worst part is that you have to watch all the cutscene again, which is around ~3 minutes. dittyeating
voted a 3 as it wasnt hard but having to mess around with saves etc made this unlike the other games before it. i prefere just playing the story
bigdrama
Went with a 3, mostly because some of the combat was annoying and I got sick of redoing stuff.
Zalos
This was a 2. Nothing hard, just a lot of time spent on having to go through episodes I already completed because I had not looked at the trophies before starting my first playthrough. Thumbs up for this season! Nice way to end the story.
couch_wrecker
Voted a 2, as it does require just a little effort.
GodOfPortway
Without a guide some of the collectibles would be a massive pain so I give it a 3!
Darkwing Duck
3, because the chapter select stuff along with collectibles is kinda annoying. Ruin the overall experience a bit if you see your saved character die when redoing the chapters
kfree7
Gave it a 2.
joalso
Gets a 2 in view of collectibles
Naps
2/10 just because of the collectible/missable trophies... and the few bugs I've encountered as well. Still pretty much an easy game to complete if you follow Pain's official guide. Edited December 30, 2019 by Naps
D2kvirus
2/10 Some player agency is required to get the plat, unlike the previous TWD games, although none of the channelegens are particularly hard
poetic_justice_
I'm giving it a 4 because I had to play certain sections at least 4X for the trophies. Springing all 4 traps successfully (when you first arrive at Ericson Academy) was a pain, and the section (avoiding spoilers) where you have to press to hide behind a certain type of moving cover was frustrating because the game doesn't tell you where to go! I eventually found out I needed to go to the right (not left). Without a guide, this game would have been an 8. I would not have had a clue where to look for certain collectables. It was well worth the time to play this game. Excellent story, one of the best I've ever played.
Snakemaru
Definitely not a 1 but 1.5 or even 2 because of the missables, collectibles and that hitting 2 rabbits without miss.
iLion
Gave it a 2/10. Was still a very easy game like the others but that fish trophy took me a handful of attempts.
Pally01
2/10. Fun game but requires a little more effort than other typical Telltale games.
henrikoez
2/10. still easy and fun. more difficult due to collectibles and zombie battles.
vikebone
I voted this a 2 because of the missable trophies and having died a few times in the action sequences. The collectibles also add to the difficulty. I wish that they wouldn't have added those as it can detract from the experience, IMO, especially if you are following a guide it can lead to spoilers the first time through. TheVoorheesComplex
2 out of 10 nothing too difficult. Had a couple sequences I had to play a couple times.
zzztoad
2/10 difficulty for me, nothing hard but slightly more involvement than the other Telltale Walking Dead Seasons.
Furious Gargoyle
2/10. Probably the only walking dead you have to do anything taxing or collectible related.
