Introduction:

Planet RIX-13 is a modern 2D scrolling point & click Indie Adventure where you are tasked with escaping Planet RIX-13 when your Space Ship crash lands. You control a Space Explorer tasked with searching out a replacement ship and ensure the Planet lets you leave.

Control-wise the game is very simple and you will only need your left stick & :cross: button. Overall this is a fun little Indie and despite the amount of missable trophies, all can be achieved in one playthrough. Any missed can be cleaned up easily and quickly in a second playthrough, as this game should only take 30 minutes to (P).

There is a Text Walkthrough available - Here

And a Video Walkthrough available - Here

Both will get you the (P) in a single playthrough.

Walkthrough:

Step 1: Play The Game

If you decide that you want to play it at your own leisure without using any of the walkthroughs, be prepared to search around in order to not miss any of the missable trophies. The trophies themselves can be earned in a variety of different orders, so do not fear if you find yourself obtaining them in a different order than shown below.

Despite the high number of missable trophies, they are fairly hard to miss if you've read up beforehand. However in order to obtain the (P) in the quickest possible time, I highly suggest that you follow either the Text, or Video Walkthroughs linked above. This will ensure that you obtain all trophies in one playthrough.

If following one of the walkthroughs you should earn all trophies is this order -

  • Cause of Death: Radiation (S) **Missable**
  • Wonders of Technology (B)
  • Cause of Death: Suicide (S) **Missable**
  • Archaeologist (G)
  • Cause of Death: Drowning (S) **Missable**
  • Cause of Death: Suffocation (S) **Missable**
  • Two is Better Than One (G)
  • It Was Worth a Try (G) **Missable**
  • Cause of Death: Explosion (S) **Missable**
  • There is a Signal! (G)
  • Explorer (G)
  • Cause of Death: Acid (S) **Missable**
  • Alchemist (S) **Missable**
  • Cause of Death: Killed by a Monster (S) **Missable**
  • Let It Burn! (G) **Missable**
  • Peaceful Outcome (G)
  • You Managed to Survive! (G)
  • Planet RIX-13 Platinum (P)

Trophy Guide:

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/446.jpg Planet RIX-13 Platinum (P)

Good job! Completed all tasks!

Earn all other trophies to get this one.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/def.jpg Cause of Death: Radiation (S)

Die from effects of radiation

**Missable**

Likely to be your first trophy. When you first start out in the game, simply walk left towards your ship and you will automatically die from the radiation.

This needs to be obtained before receiving the Radiation Suit.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/7a1.jpg Cause of Death: Explosion (S)

Die in the explosion

**Missable**

In order to get this trophy you must attempt to take off in the Cargo Ship before ensuring that it is completely fixed. The Cargo Ship will be located within the Cargo ship area which can be visited after you have read the "notes" in the computer in Laboratory BO3.

If following the walkthrough you should obtain this in conjunction with It Was Worth a Try (G)

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/896.jpg Cause of Death: Suffocation (S)

Die from effects of toxic fumes

**Missable**

When you first reach the Cave System area you are able to enter the cave. Once inside the cave, simply walk right into the fumes.

If you choose not to visit the Cave System when it is first available (obtained from reading the "notes" on the computer in the Laboratory BO1 Laboratory), you can progress too far in the story to obtain this trophy. Ensure you visit the Cave System before printing the Oxygen Filter in the Laboratory BO2 Workshop.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/a1d.jpg Cause of Death: Drowning (S)

Drown in the water

**Missable**

Obtained directly after Archaeologist (G). When you pick up the first crystal in the Laboratory BO1 Laboratory you simply need to stand still for 2 minutes and wait for the purple fluid to rise from the floor. If you choose to leave the room before drowning you will require a second playthrough to obtain this trophy.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/7fc.jpg Cause of Death: Killed by a Monster (S)

Die after a monster attack

**Missable**

Obtained within the area Idol immediately after collecting the fourth crystal. Once you have collected the crystal from the Idol you will need to walk right, where a Monster will grab you from the water.

It is highly unlikely you will miss this trophy, unless you are aware that you require to walk slowly back through the water to continue. If you do however, you will be required to play through again.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/ade.jpg Explorer (G)

Find all the locations

Once you are able to visit the Radar Station there will be a computer that you are required to use. Read the "Radar station" "note" on the computer and search for the last 2 locations. They can be found in the circled areas below.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/e53.jpg You Managed to Survive! (G)

Pass the game

In order to pass the game you need to obtain the Navigation Block from your old Ship Wreckage and ensure all other tasks are completed before attempting to fly away in the Cargo Ship.

There is a "To diagnose" option once you have selected the Cargo Ship, where it needs to read "All systems operate in normal mode". Once this is shown on the screen you will be free to fly away.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/219.jpg Wonders of Technology (B)

Make an object using 3D printer

Within the Workshop of Laboratory BO2 there is a 3D Printer where you will be able to print a Computer Screen. This trophy will pop once you use the 3D printer for the first time. The 3D Printer is also used on a few other occasions to print items in order to progress the story.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/2a5.jpg Archaeologist (G)

Find a Crystal

The first crystal available to you is located within Safe in the Laboratory of Laboratory BO1. Once you have access to Laboratory BO1 proceed to the Laboratory itself and enter the code 2409, then select the Crystal from within.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/c83.jpg Alchemist (S)

Try to prepare a potion using five components

**Missable**

There is a Mini-lab within Laboratory BO3 where you are able to Mix a number of components. You will need to collect all five components from the relative areas before attempting the Mix.

The items and locations:

  • wood mushrooms - Location "The place of supplies drop"
  • cave mushroom - Location "Cave system - Cave"
  • flower - Location "Well"
  • red berries - Location "Radar station"
  • yellow berries - Location "Cave system"

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/dc1.jpg Two is Better Than One (G)

Restore the operation of both servers

The Server Room is located within Laboratory BO2. In order to fix both servers you will need to obtain the five "Compute Cards" from the relevant locations and replace the old cards.

The "Compute Cards" can be found:

  1. Laboratory BO2 - Living Room - On the Table
  2. Laboratory BO2 - Server Room - On the Shelves
  3. Laboratory BO1 - Laboratory - On the Shelves
  4. Radar station - On the Shelves
  5. Laboratory BO3 - On the Shelves

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/87a.jpg It Was Worth a Try (G)

Try to fly away from the planet, not solving the problem with the source of the anomalies

**Missable**

See Cause of Death: Explosion (S)

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/634.jpg There is a Signal! (G)

Restore the operation of repeaters

You are required to enter a code into both Repeater's in order to raise a signal. The code is the same for both 1278

The Repeater locations are:

  • Laboratory BO3
  • Cargo ship

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/9b5.jpg Cause of Death: Acid (S)

Die due to acid exposure

**Missable**

The only place you can die from acid is within the Well. When you visit the Well you will see Acid dripping from the roof - simply stand under one of the acid drops.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/80e.jpg Cause of Death: Suicide (S)

Commit suicide

**Missable**

There is only one place and one way to commit suicide within the game. In the Living Room of Laboratory BO1 there is a Pile of Garbage that contains Poison. You will need to Search the Pile of Garbage and Drink the Poison.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/3f8.jpg Let It Burn! (G)

Destroy the source of anomalies

**Missable**

Late in the game you will be able to use the Elevator within Laboratory BO1 to reach the Alters. You are required to place all Crystals on Alters which will give you access to a Door. Within this area is a Thing that you will be required to blow up. Before visiting the Thing you will need to obtain the Explosives from the Storage room in Laboratory BO3.

Once you have the Explosive & all 4 Crystals you will be able to "Install explosives" on the Thing. In order to survive the explosion you need to leave the room (not the area) before the timer reaches zero.

http://www.playstationtrophies.org/images/trophies/8346/fb2.jpg Peaceful Outcome (G)

Eliminate the source of anomalies without destroying it

In order to get a peaceful outcome you will need to blow up the Scientific Equipment by Installing Explosives on it. The Scientific Equipment is located within the Radar Station and Explosives can be found in the Storage room in Laboratory BO3.

As with Let It Burn! (G), you need to ensure you leave the room (not the area) before the timer reaches zero, otherwise you will die.

This is awesome! I was just now checking out the game and thinking "I could write this guide!" Unfortunately, I'm not cool enough to get early access codes lol! Nice job; I'll play this when it releases (January 16th if I'm correct).

Yeah Jan 16th release. 4 stacks, but no cross buy unfortunately (as is the norm with SometimesYou games).

I’m hoping people are not put off by the amount of missable trophies.

This game is decent enough for what it is and they should not be.

How is it possible to finish this in one playthrough??

Also, peaceful outcome is also a missable trophy since you only have one explosive to destroy boss or scientific equipment.

Did you follow the walkthrough?

All trophies can be obtained by following this -
