Now I have 1 TB sat there doing nothing and my kids 500gb full. Can I use the 1TB in my kids playstation and what is the process of making it work? There shouldn't be any issues in making it work, you just need to know that their PS4 is going to completely reformat it, so that it marries it to the console...which means any data on it will be lost, and it will be treated as a fresh HDD. So you'll need to backup any data you want to keep from the 500GB, so you can transfer it to the 1TB once it's formatted. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

I got a decent connection and it will be done while they're at school. Do I have to go into safe mode? I struggled to find info on this subject, so I'm clueless on what to do.
