LMAO, you serious? Yass! Tempted to buy the game now just so I can do this

Get it so I can kick your ass nonstop ;)

I'm still struggling to find Recon's item (I Ching Coins) in blackout. I've played 75 games and have not even seen it in a supply crate or supply drop. I average over 5 kills a game and loot every person I kill, and nothing. I've seen all other items probably at least 10 times each. Does anyone maybe remember in which area of the map you found it?

It doesn't spawn in a Supply drop from the plane, it's only in the ones that are on the ground to begin with. One that spawns more often that not is located in the underground bunker in Nuketown. Take the entrance from the U shaped Bay, and keep heading straight. It's usually in the last main room before the final hallway. I seem to find a crate there almost every 2nd game.

If you don't care about your win/loss stats, just go there at the start, look for the item, if it's not there, restart. :)

Anyone know if you have to complete all the challenges for the Blackout character in one match, or can it be across multiple matches?

For example, can I kill someone with fists, a few matches later get a shotgun kill, then the next match find the medallion and unlock Menendez? Or do I have to do all 3 in 1 match?

Yes, this is what I thought as well, but someone told me it spawns in both so I've been looting both all games. I'll try landing more nuketown, as that's one place I don't usually land.

You have to do the requirement after picking up the item in that match, it doesn't carry over currently.

I'm wondering if they might have messed up the spawning of it in one of the updates over the weekend. At launch first two days we found them quite often, but then Saturday/Sunday when I last played we never found them once in like 10 hours of playing.

How are people struggling with these 10 blackout wins? Just camp in a building the whole match, only coming out when you are not in the circle. I’ve got 5 wins so far pretty easily. All i do is land at the very edge of the map, find a gun and hide in the corner of a building. The only time i come out of the building is when i need to run to the circle. Then when i reach the circle, hide at the very edge of the circle. You can get to the top 10 easily doing this method. Just don’t even attempt to shoot anyone until there is only you and another person left.

There are obvious problems that can happen though. Like for instance, The circle is miles away and you get killed running to it. Or you get killed at the start of the game finding a gun etc.

But just camp like crazy and stay put and don’t do anything lol. I know it’s quite boring doing it this way but it’s safer.

Its certainly not as easy as you are making it out to be. Your obviously really good at this game and gametype. I tied this over and over and 9 times out of 10 when I have to move I get picked off. Someone is always camping somewhere.

Like in Destiny when the elite post that going flawless is easy.

Maybe i am quite good i don’t know lol. I do play a lot of fortnite which might help!

Try and stay at the very edge of the circle. For example lets say the circle is at the very top right corner of the map. Make your way to the very top corner. Like 1 o’clock on the circle. There are going to be very few people in that area. But the bottom left of the circle is kind of like the hot zone, where people will be making their way from the bottom of the map and end up at the bottom of the circle. I learnt this from fortnite lol.

Been playing about 5 hours, cant really come close to a win. I always have to run to the circle. You need to be real lucky to get a good drop. So far Ive had 1 game where I guessed right but the last circle was still quit a run so of course I get sniped down the second I left my spot I was in for like 20 minutes.

Even when Im just hiding I have people just walk up like they know exactly where I am, even if I was there for a good 5 minutes. And there was no sensor darts.

Im usually top 15 solo, but that isnt getting me the 10 win trophy. I can usually take top 3 quads, but always a 1v3 or 1v4. So quads are easier to place higher, but pointless since I cant win them. Solo feels impossible. I waste so much time camping only to get slaughtered at the end.

I got it at this location after about 6-7 games. It was first at the very first area as soon as you enter the bunker. Me and another player landed at the same time and he went for the crate instead of weapon. Feel bad for him if he is also trying to unlock this, but I'm glad Im done with it.

 I'm glad to hear you got it done! I think when I write the guide I'm going to use that location as a point of interest. :) Seems like lots of people are having good luck with it!

Have they unlocked any new character challenges yet? I've been working the last couple days so I haven't got a chance to check out Blackout yet.

Also I think some of the Specialist MP trophies may be slightly glitched. There's a trophy for getting 10 Weapon medals and a trophy for getting 10 Equipment medals.

I have 20+ medals now all relating to specialists, so mathematically speaking at least one of those trophies should have popped.

I'm sure that I have at least 11 medals for equipment as well. I have 3 Stick medals (stick an enemy with Battery's Cluster grenade), 2 double kills with cluster grenades, 4 double kills with Firebreak's Reactor Core, and 2 double kills with the golden ammo from Crash.

So unless those Stick medals don't count, or it has to be 10 unique medals, then it's glitched.

Not that i know for certain, but i'm pretty sure you need to get a double kill with the equipment for it to unlock. That will give you the medals. Best classes are probably Firebreak, Nomad and Battery.

Another option could be Recon and simply shoot two enemies that has been located by the sensor.

When it comes to Blackout, at this point i'm almost certain that only four characters can be unlocked. Torque, Ajax, Crash and Recon. I've unlocked all four at this point, but none of the zombie characters seem to unlock with the requirements some have listed. I've had 5 kills with raygun and cymbal monkeys and place 1st in a solo blackout and neither Nikolai nor Richtofen unlocked. I'm also yet to find the anihilator and battery in any supply drops/ supply stashes.

I think you need the double kill ones

So double kill with reactor core and double kills for battery’s grenades should count for you as equipment medals

I think all my equipment kills were with firebreak’s reactor core I have like 12 of those

For weapon kills I have 10 but not all with firebreak

I think I have 4 flamethrower double kills

3 battery’s grenade launcher double kills

And 3 ruin’s double kills with his hammer thing

On a side note today I got a double kill with the dog - talk about easy -just release him and he does all The work for you.

Has anyone seen vids of the EE on IX? It looks so complicated. There are so many pointless tasks to do. A bit like the zombies EE in WW2. One of the tasks involves geting the crowd affinity down to the lowest and then they throw poo at you lol. Then you have to cook it haha. I really don’t fancy going through what i went through with WW2 zombies lol. I think i may just not attempt the platinum :(

Im almost 200 games in and just yesterday I finally seen my first poker chip that I looted off a body. Unfortunately it was so late in the game I didnt have time to find 15 healing supplies. I actually just burned a 10 stack running out of a collapse, which ironically I was caught in because my inventory was full and I needed to clear space for the poker chip. I think it was one away from the final circle with 20 people left in a quads game. I was solo so I just made a run to a supply crate in hopes of some meds but was taken out on my way. I still had like 8 on me so there was a slim chance had I won I would have found enough.

That has been the only time I seen the poker chip.

Treyarch's ones from BO3 and this are all more complicated than anything in WWII (aside from the "small" Treyarch maps like Classified"). There's much better setups and stuff though and all the consumables aren't useless so the actual act of doing stuff is better than WWII IMO.

Can someone recommend game modes to play and whether it be standard or hardcore, and which specialists and abilities to use for the trophies? I’m having a real hard time getting any progress towards either. I met the requirements with Battery but as many know that doesn’t work.

Edit: Playing standard Domination as Firebreak. I basically camp near B and wait for a group to cap or retake it and break out the Purifier or the nuclear canister. Works very well for anyone having trouble.

You have a picture of the actual room? Ive landed there about 10 times in a row and only seen 2 boxes, so not sure Im in the right place.

***edit*** I feel like crying. Been playing solos today and got down to the final 2, didnt realize that one of the 2 was me. I seen the guy first but thought he was going to engage the other guy (who wasnt there). ended up losing of course.

My guess is that the Stick medals don't count, even though they are technically equipment related. I'll play a few games with Firebreak later tonight before I go to sleep to see if it unlocks :)

I don't have a screenshot at this time. But if you take the entrance next to the U shaped bay, there's a room right at the entrance (Not that room). Follow the hallway to the right, then it goes left into a room that looks kinda like a Rec Room. There's 2 of those rooms underground. The crate can spawn in either of those rooms. :)

btw sorry to hear about your almost victory. :( I almost ran into that situation when I saw there were 3 people left on my screen, but then I got the circle to the smallest point and it said 2. I thought there was another enemy but I killed the one that I saw and was surprised to see the victory screen show up!

Also has anyone found out the last 2 Dark Ops in Blackout yet?

I have all of them except for 2 (and the 100 zombie kills one).

Baller at the Estates

Zombie Jams at the Diner

Blast Doors at Fracking Tower

Fist kill an enemy.

Hit a target from 90m away at Firing Range.

Find the Underwater Crate at the Cargo Docks.

100 zombie kills.

???

I just outdid my last sad performance. I somehow managed to tie for the win. Which would be fine, but it dont count as a win. It says #1 on the scorecard, but you dont get a win in your stats :-(

Sure. Away for the next few days though so i can only play from saturday onwards!

I just tried to do the IX EE solo. Got to the point where you get transferred to an alternate reality and have to destroy the 3 glowing heart things. Died lol. I wouldn’t say it was hard up until that point, just alot to do. And i was only around 40% the way through.

It’s like all the other EE in cod, if you have a good team and everyone knows the steps, it’s doable. This is a very complicated and complex EE that involves alot of running around and doing pointless tasks. Like i said, if everyone knows the steps it is very doable.

It would really help as well if you could practice the EE in custom mutations so you could learn the steps. But the EE is disabled in custom mutations which sucks tbh. Don’t know why they would disable it. It already disables trophies.
